And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air, and brought them unto Adam, to see what he would call them. And whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. And Adam gave names for all the cattle, to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not a fowl to help meat for him. And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept, and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof. And the rib which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now a bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh. She shall be called woman, because she was taken out of man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall claim unto his wife and me one flesh. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat. But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil thou shalt not eat of it. For in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Ladies and gentlemen, you're listening to My Meat Lord on the Red House Radio Network, brought to you by Mothership Earth News. And God said, Let us make men in our image after our likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cow, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Genesis 9 verse 6, Whosoever shed man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed. For in the image of God made he man. So God created man in his own image, and in the image of God created him male, and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils to breath life, and man became a living soul. And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden, to dress it, and to keep it. Why me, Lord, why have I ever done to deserve even one of the pleasures I've known? Tell me, Lord, what did I ever do that was worth loving you, or the kindness you've shown? Lord, help me, Jesus, I've wasted it, so help me, Jesus, I know what I am. But now that I know that I need it, you so help me, Jesus, my soul's in your hands. Try me, Lord, if you think there's a way, I can try to repay all I've taken from you. Ladies and gentlemen, you're listening to Why Me, Lord, on the Red House Radio Network, brought to you by Mothership Earth News. The serpent was more subtile than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made, and he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die, ye are of your father the devil, and the less of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and a bow not in the truth, because there is no truth in him where he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own, for he is a liar, and the father of it. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a treat to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her, and he did eat. And the eyes of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked, and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves apron. And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden. And then the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? Ladies and gentlemen, you're listening to Why Me Lord on the Red House Radio Network, brought to you by Mother Chef Earth News. And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked, and I hid myself. And he said, Who told thee that thou was naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art courage above all cattle, and above every beast of the field. Upon thy belly shalt thou go, and there shalt thou eat all the days of thy life. And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed, and it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Why me, Lord, what have I ever done to deserve even one of the pleasures I've known? Tell me, Lord, what did I ever do that was worth loving you, or the kindness you've shown? Lord, help me, Jesus, I've wasted it, so help me, Jesus, I know what I am. But now that I know that I've needed you, so help me, Jesus, my soul's in your hands. Try me, Lord, if you think there's a way I can try to repay all I've taken from you. And the Lord God called unto Adam and said unto him, Where art thou? God was seeking men then, and he still is today. We are created for God's good pleasure. We are created to have a personal relationship with God. Unto Adam also, and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skin and clothe them. He didn't sacrifice the perfect, unblemished animal. He didn't just take them down to Macy's and buy them a new warm wardrobe. That's why the skins are just a by-product. So, they didn't just kill some animals to make a fur coat. They had to be made righteous just to be in fellowship again with God. Coats of skin type of Christ made unto us righteousness. A divine and provided garment that the first sinners might be made fit for God's presence. Ladies and gentlemen, you're listening to Why Me, Lord? The Lord God called unto Adam and said unto him, Where art thou? God created man and gave him free will. God wanted an intimate relationship with man. He formed man from the dust of the earth. God knelt down, put his hand under the form of man, and lifted him up and breathed life into his mouth. It doesn't get any more personal than that. Man became a living being made in the image of God who created his image, the Father, the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Such a great verse, so popular, so cherished, so loved by many. Is that enough to get you into heaven? Is that enough to get you saved? Well, I'm not here to answer that. But I will say this, it's a good place to start. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. Each and every one of us has an important decision to make. Every one of us has to make that decision. Are we going to take a knee for Christ? Are we going to reject the gospel, the word of God, Revelation 14 verse 6? Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people. Every knee will bend, and every tongue will confess, Christ is Lord. Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people. Why me, Lord? Why have I ever done to deserve even one of the pleasures I've known? Tell me, Lord, what did I ever do that was worth loving you for the kindness you've shown? But God demonstrates his own love toward us, and that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. For the bread of life is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world. Why me, Lord? Why have I ever done to deserve even one of the pleasures I've known? Tell me, Lord, what did I ever do? That was worth loving you for the kindness you've shown. Romans chapter 8 verse 7 and 8. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the law of God, or indeed can be, so then those who are in the flesh cannot please God. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned, but he that believeth not is condemned already because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light has come into the world. And men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. Ladies and gentlemen, you're listening to Why Me, Lord? on the Red House Radio Network, brought to you by Mothership Earth News. Lord, help me, Jesus, I've wasted it, so help me, Jesus, I know what I am. But now that I know that I've needed you, so help me, Jesus, my soul's in your hands. Ephesians chapter 2 verse 3, Among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. Psalm chapter 5 verse 9, Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and said, My mother conceived me. Jeremiah chapter 17 verse 9, The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked, who can know it? John chapter 6 verse 33, For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world. John chapter 3 verse 16, For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Matthew chapter 6 verse 33, But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Again the devil took him up on an excellingly high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to him, All these things I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me. And Jesus said to him, Away with you, Satan, for it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve. And thou bidst me come to thee, O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
