The speaker begins by thanking God and praying for light and understanding. The topic of today's devotion is courage and strength for obedience, taken from Joshua 1:6-7. Throughout history, influential people have accomplished extraordinary feats through courage and strength. Similarly, individuals called by God must rely on these virtues to fulfill His purpose. Joshua, Abraham, Moses, David, Jeremiah, Paul, and Jesus are examples of those who displayed courage and strength in their obedience to God. The speaker encourages listeners to develop a deep relationship with God through prayer, reading His word, and obedience to His commands. The devotion ends with a prayer for grace and the strength to be obedient. The speaker invites listeners to join the lunch hour prayer at 12 noon and signs off with "Shalom." Shalom Beloved, God Wishing Bless You For Joining The Just Ended Prayer Time. We Thank God For This Day To Spend Time In His Word. Father In The Mighty Name Of Jesus We Thank You For This Morning, And The Privilege To Hear Your Word. We Pray That The Entrance Of Your Word Would Give Us Light And Understanding. Through Jesus Christ Our Lord, Amen. Let Us Take Our Confession From Joshua Chapter 1 Verse 8. Joshua Chapter 1 Verse 8 The Topic For Today's Devotion Is Courage And Strength, Virtues For Obedience. Taken From Joshua Chapter 1 Verse 6 To 7. Joshua Chapter 1 Verse 6 To 7 And I Read From The King Joel's Version. Be Strong And Of A Good Courage, For Unto These People Shall Thou Divide For An Inheritance The Land Which I Swore Unto Their Fathers To Give Them. Ode Be Thou Strong And Very Courageous, That Thou Mayest Observe To Do According To All The Law Which Moses My Servant Commanded Thee. Turn Not From It To The Right Hand, Or To The Left, That Thou Mayest Prosper Whether Thou Goest. Amen. Courage And Strength, Virtues For Obedience. Throughout The World's History, Many Influential Men And Women Have Left Lasting Legacies By Mastering Courage And Strength To Accomplish Extraordinary Feats. Similarly, Individuals Called By God To Fulfill His Purpose Must Also Call To These Virtues To Carry Out His Commands. In Joshua Chapter 1, God Emphasized Several Times The Need For Joshua To Be Strong And Courageous In Leading The Israelite Into The Promised Land. This Emphasis On Courage And Strength Was Necessary For Joshua To Remain Obedient To God Throughout His Leadership Journey. Beloved, When God Calls Us, He Does Not Always Call Us To Easy Taxes. Instead, He Often Calls Us To Do Things That Require Us To Step Out Of Our Comfort Zones, To Take Risks, And To Be Strong And Courageous In Our Faith. Unfortunately, Many Christians Often Become Afraid And Doubt The Ability To Fulfill God's Commands, Feeling Overwhelmed By The Seeming Impossibility Of The Tax. However, God Encourages Us Not To Be Dismayed. Once We Are Doing What He Has Asked Us To Do, He Promises His Ever-Presence Throughout The World. Joshua Chapter 1, Verse 9 The Bible Is Filled With Countless Men And Women Who Were Called By God To Do Challenging Taxes And Who, Through Their Courage And Strength, Were Able To Accomplish Them. For Example, Abraham Had To Leave His Family Behind And Home To Follow God's Call To A New Land. Moses Had To Confront Pharaoh And Leave The Israelite Out Of Slavery. David Had To Face A Giant Who Threatened His People. Consider Jeremiah, Who Faced Persecution And Radical For His Obedience To God. He Was Imprisoned And Mocked, Yet He Remained Steadfast In His Obedience, Always Turning Back To God For Strength And Courage. Similarly, The Apostle Paul Faced Immense Persecution And Ultimately Died For His Faith. Yet He Too Remained Steadfast In His Obedience, Trusting In God's Strength And Courage To Fulfill His Mission. The Lord Jesus Also Exemplified Strength And Courage By Willingly Sacrificing Himself On The Cross For The Salvation Of Humanity. He Trusted In God To Raise Him Up On The Third Day And His Faith Was Rewarded As God Fulfilled His Promise. In The Same Way, God May Be Calling Us To Take A Courageous Step Of Faith And Do What He Has Commanded Us To Do. Perhaps It Is To Remain Where You Are Or To Move To A New Place. Maybe It Is To Say No To Sin Or To Separate Ourselves From Unhealthy Relationships. Perhaps It Is To Start A New Ministry, Share The Gospel, Welcome Someone In Need, Join A Church Department Or Most Importantly, Surrender Our Lives To Him. Whatever It May Be, I Pray That We Gain The Courage And Strength To Take That Step Of Faith. Beloved, Gaining Strength And Courage Comes From Developing A Deep Relationship With God Through Prayer, Reading And Meditating On His Word And Obedience To His Commands. It Is My Prayer That We Continually Rely On Him To Provide Us With The Strength And Courage We Need To Carry Out His Commands. In Jesus' Name, Amen. We Will Take Our Memory Rest From Jeshua Chapter 1 Verse 7. Beloved, Let Us Kindly Share A Word Of Prayer. Father, We Thank You For This Word. We Pray That You Grant Us The Grace To Draw Closer To You. That We May Receive The Courage And The Strength We Need To Be Obedient To Your Word. In Jesus' Name, Amen. Thank You And God Richly Bless You For Staying True With Us. Continue To Stay Tuned On Radio HCI For More Spirit Filled Content. See You At 12 Noon For Our Lunch Hour Prayer. Shalom.
