The speaker wants to prioritize their comfort and avoid fear and anxiety. However, they have realized that there is growth and learning to be gained from facing fear and going through difficult experiences. They emphasize the importance of reflecting on these experiences and using them to become a better person. They feel that they have the option to choose how to respond to challenges and strive to become a better version of themselves. You know, first and foremost, I want to do what makes me comfortable, always, maybe at a very close second, if not 1A on my list is avoid any type of fear, you know, anxiety about something. Yeah. Oh man, anxiety used to plague me. Yeah, those things are just common for us to like, that's how we operate, we try to avoid that. Yeah. You know, today I realized that even in the fear, there's like so much to be learned, there's so much progress to be made still, there's so much growth to be gained through it. Yeah. Right? But again, only through the experience and through, you know, the evidence of going through shit, learning from it, becoming a better person because of it, reflecting on it, saying, wow, that worked. Yeah. Am I able to have that option today to say, hey, what do I want to do? Do I want to get into some self-pity right now? Do I want to like, woe is me or, you know, blame God for shit, you know, or do I want to kind of say, hey, what's happening right now? Yeah. What can I learn from this? Yeah. How can I become a better person? Absolutely. That could become better. Yes. You know, I don't have to be the same person anymore, I could just gradually become better.
