Good evening, good morning, good afternoon. I'm in Hawaii. I'm six hours different than the East Coast. Salute to everyone and God bless. Today's topic, it's a serious one. It's one of the most sobering conversations that one can have with anybody. It's one of those things that if your ears, if your heart is not ready to hear, you're automatically going to tune out. So bear with me as we unravel this topic. Jesus is a cancer. I do not want to be insensitive, really, I'm not, but Christianity is a cancer. You may be asking how, what is cancer? And these are the things that we're about to talk about. According to cancer.org, cancer is a disease in which some of the body's cells grow uncontrollably and spread to other parts of the body. But the question remains, how is Christianity cancer? We will not get into the spiritual baptism of becoming a Christian. However, once you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, there is no more controlling what's about to happen in your life. The situation is out of your hands now. Believe me. Let us talk about what leads people to Christ. And I'm not referring to people that superficially profess to be one, but sincerely are not. That is a totally different conversation. We can save that for another day. Just remind me. Being a Christian is a token, an admission, a pre-resecutive, a declaration stating, I'm leaving my pride at the door. I am surrendering. I failed this thing called life by my own doings. I am the chief of sinners. I am on my knees at the very bottom, rock bottom. There's no more other place to run to. If there were, I would have tried it already before coming here to my humiliation. The words Lord and Savior implies two things. Savior, Mr. Superman, saving you from an unwanted fate, unwanted doing or ending. And Lord as a ruler or king, one who dominates a territory or persons. Without getting too deep, Jesus behaves as a cancer in the spiritual sense, affecting your soul entirely. Once you allow him in your heart, you do not dictate him. Here is another way to describe it. It's like hiring a plumber to come fix your kitchen faucet. After the repair, he begins rearranging the furniture. Then tearing down a wall and adding an east wing to it. Because he intends to build a mansion and live in it. That cancer will spread till the host is destroyed from the form of things that will ultimately lead him or her to their death. But instead, that person is made alive into a heavenly creature capable of withstanding eternity in his holy presence. That word holy is almost impossible to describe regarding to God and heaven. He is the notorious Jesus. I thought about ways to describe holy in the context of God. And the human language really can't touch it. This is your servant Joaquin Pavon. I am glad we were able to touch this topic, this podcast. If you guys have any recommendation or any other topic that you wish for me to expound on, comment below. Send me a message directly and I will gladly explore that topic and we can share it together.
