Welcome back guys to Team Crusaders Monday Night Football Podcast. I'm your host Tony and today we'll be talking about the power rankings and Eau Claire. And also I want to say thank you to our sponsors in Bubble Bay, Little Tokyo, Asian Taste, Rick the Barber, and also FACOMA. If you guys haven't leaked a review yet, please do. They have an amazing food. Plus Rick the Barber has awesome haircuts. If you guys want to get your hair ready for a wedding, for a date, or for the EDM concerts, just let you know Rick is your guy. So to start off with my opinion on the power rankings, okay? So if those guys out there on the teams are saying I'm a trash talker or a person who can't do a podcast correctly. Hey, that's just my opinion of what I saw in the game and in the tournament on Memorial Day. So please don't hate me, but if you want to, go ahead. If you support me, go ahead too. So when top number 10 teams for the Hmong Flag Football Tournament since two weeks ago, the number 10 is Sticky Rice. They actually did pretty well for a team that really ran an onion man team. We lost to them in the regular game for our bracket for the playoffs and we really underestimated that team. The reason why is because we thought that we were a better team. Of course, you know, we were the better team and just we lost. We fell short to them in that game. We started our bench players or some of our bench players and we got very cocky. And that's the thing that we as a team for Crusaders need to understand that we cannot be cocky against any other team. We need to stay consistent and stay motivated to beat this team unless we're up by 21 points. And then you could put in your bench players or your third string players, doesn't matter who it is. Next we got is Phenoms number 9. We beat Phenoms in the playoffs in the first game to move on to the next game against Black Venom. Phenoms is a good team for sure too. They're a young team. I've seen their receivers are very young guys. I mean, they look like they're like only 19 or 20 years old. I'm 25 here right now or turning 26 in August. But I could be wrong. If they're older, they're older. If they're younger, that's amazing. They're better, you know, having young guys there to watch and learn and really create plays. It's good for them for sure. And coming in number 8 is Crusaders. As much I want to put Crusaders higher, it's just the way how we performed on Memorial Day. Our special teams had a lot of trouble putting the ball against Black Venom and Black Venom got a safety out of us and that was kind of our downfall or why we fell short in that game. Our offense was consistent. It was good, but at the same time that Black Venom defense really blitzed us all day. There was some hope of getting our offense started, but just during the first quarter, our offense couldn't do much. For us to kind of learn from this mistake is just to make sure that we learn from this and be better at this. So for Crusaders number 8, I think I have them pretty good at ranked number 8 for my top 10. Up next is number 7. It's Brothers. I didn't really watch too much of their game, but from what their stats are right now, they play 4 games, won 2 games, lost 2. And the point differential is 13. I mean for us Crusaders, it's like a 6. It's fine. But for them to be number 7, I understand why. It's just because of the point differential. Up next is Anonymous, if I pronounced it correctly, number 6. They won 4 games, won 3 games, and lost 1. They're a good team too, for sure. And for them to make it this far in the playoffs, it's amazing. You know, there's like I said, their teams out there are still young, still young. But for a team like Blue Dragon for sure, you know, they are a team that's more of fetching players, and they have a team that's more of, hey, we have the experience, we have the knowledge of what to do in this game. And that's the reason why they are number 5. So Blue Dragons, I have a cousin, I have a cousin who married my friend's sister. Well, to put it in the American way, my in-law who plays with Blue Dragon, I talked to him before, and he said Blue Dragons are booty this year. I mean, no, for sure. You guys are really good. You guys are number 5. You guys still good of a team, for sure. It's just, you know, what they told me is just some of the guys left due to some reason of leadership or something like that. And I know we faced Blue Dragons like a year ago. We lost to them by like a touchdown, and it happens, you know, but if we would ever face Blue Dragons again, it would be amazing to face them also. Up next is Anonymous and number 4. Number 4, they've been pretty good too, for sure. To be number 4, that's amazing. Good job. Good job for them. Number 3 is Tier 1. Tier 1, apparently we are, I've been hearing a lot of like rumors that the Crusaders are better than Tier 1 in Wisconsin, and I'm not sure that's true or not, but you know, to kind of have that mindset that we are the better team, you know, that's what we want. You know, we don't want to settle for less, and I'm pretty sure Tier 1 will also do the same way, that they're better than us. You know, but whatever happens in the field, you know, really shows that who is the better team. You know, who is the better team in Wisconsin, but to be honest, you know, as long we support each other in a way as a football community, you know, I'm all for that. Number 2 is up next, ESPN. Amazing job for ESPN to make in the finals against Black Venom. You guys already know Black Venom is number 1 right now. They beat a whole entire team to get to a championship. So all props and respect to Black Venom. You guys did a good job against us. You guys did a good job in the finals. I just wish I was here to watch, just that I went home, so I don't want to get home late. Moving on next to Eau Claire, there is 2014 for men, and then 8 for women. I know I don't really talk too much about the women's football team on here, which is fine. If I do have the time for it, I will be happy and grateful to talk about the girls teams for sure, but for the men's team that I see in the list is number 1. It is the defending championships, Panda. I don't know what Panda, who they are. I would assume that they are the 4-1 SEC on the roster. They are defending championship for Eau Claire. Number 2 is East Coast Squad. Number 3, 2, 1, Plaza Boys. Number 4, Christians. Number 5, Number 6 is Ohana. Number 7, Doomsday. 8, Underrated. Number 9, Black Venom. Number 10, Blue Dragons. 11, Roasters, if I pronounced it correctly. And then number 12, Anomacy. Number 13, Those Sticky Rice Guys. Jeez man, all these names are so freaking weird. We got East Movement, House Paradise, Division 1, Suburbs, Anonymous, Phenoms, ESPN, Unknown, Darkside, Witness, and also Game Over. And to kind of put the women's flag football involved, there's number one right now. The defending championships are Children's, Blitz, Baby Red, Phoenix, Amethyst, Warriors, Shadows, and Fierce. So good luck for the girls team. I hope you guys do great and bring a championship back home. And for the guys, you guys already know, this is business. It's all about business. You guys already know that we have already set the goal for this year. The expectation for this year. And we have to show to ourselves and to the team that we are one of the best teams in the league. And I know that some people may not have that either tiger type, you know, hype. But there are some guys out there who do have that hype. And when you look at those other teams like Black Venom, that's a perfect example. The reason why they won a championship is because they were hyped up for the season. They had their goals straight up, they got their expectations of what they want to do, and they got a great coach. And all they had to do is to execute the plan. You know, you can have a great coach, you can have a great game plan, you can have a great all this and that. All great players too. But if you don't execute, you will not get anywhere at all. So for Team Crusaders, I know like I said before, I want to be there for this week. I did hurt my wrist too, it kind of sucks while working out. And plus, you know, my family are planning to have a Father's Day weekend thing for the fathers. So for me here staying at home back in Green Bay, I wish you guys the best of luck. I wish you guys to stay steady, stay focused, and stay motivated and be locked in. I know I don't really talk a lot in the huddle or anywhere else on the field, but when it's outside of football or hearing this podcast, my voice is heard from you guys. So again, thank you to our sponsors, Bubble Bay, Little Tokyo, Asian Tastes, Rick the Barber, and Hope Koma. So thank you for tuning in to the Long Live Football Team Crusaders. Until next time guys, I'll see you guys on the next one.
