The speaker finds it embarrassing that despite being someone who can quickly learn new things, they are only now recording themselves on a laptop with a microphone. They express optimism that things will improve and are excited to embark on a journey of learning and speaking to interesting people in future podcast episodes. You want to know what's really crazy is how embarrassing it is, even if you will title yourself as someone who knows how to learn something really quickly, sometimes I joke that I'm the Jane of most trades, like I'm not super great at anything, but I'm willing to learn anything, and just now, today is the very first time that I have ever recorded myself in this capacity on a laptop with a microphone, and it just is way out of my reach, and it's so funny because I just keep having this replay in my head that I know that this is going to get better, and I know that we're going to step up from here, and so I am so glad that you are here, I'm hoping you'll stick with me and just go on this journey, and we're going to learn so much about each other, and about ourselves, and we're going to speak to some amazing people throughout the next who knows how many episodes of this podcast, this is the first of many, and I am so excited to get started.
