Welcome our friend and Taylor’s future roomie, Cecilia! C is one of our most confident friends… and is only in her mid-20s. We discuss misconceptions about confidence and how C has built, maintains, and projects confidence in different areas of life. Spoiler: it’s a constant process, and trusting yourself is key.

Confidence, the word confidence comes from a Latin word and the Latin word literally means to trust. Huh, I didn't know that. Yeah. Like, so self-confidence and confidence yourself is like trusting yourself and trusting that like you're enough. Hi love, welcome back to another episode of Branded and Taylor's. This week we have our friend Cecilia here to talk about confidence. She's one of our most confident friends and so we thought she'd just be great for this. Yes, and future roomie, been talking about you enough. It's official. Welcome. I mean, I still have to sign it. I just haven't physically signed it yet, but it's official. We found a place. Thank goodness. We're ready to go. Are you going to be on the top floor again? Oh my god, that's so funny. Actually, yeah. We have windows this time. We do have windows and it's spacious in between. Yes, it's huge. I'm just like so freaking excited. Do you want to talk about your middle confidence? Yeah. I mean, the story kind of goes, I get a call from my landlord and I think actually Taylor, you told me first. Yes. And we were like, hey, the guy who was in between us was a hoarder and he died. Yes. And I was like, so then a couple of days later, I'm like getting home from work and our landlord calls me and she's like, hey, so there's going to be like a giant dumpster outside the apartment in the parking lot. So the guy, basically the guy who lived below you died and he was a hoarder. And I was like, oh wow, okay. So the next like week, they're literally throwing just junk out of the second story window into this seven ton dumpster that they literally fill. So seven tons of stuff ended up being in that apartment and they're still working on it now. They have to like rip everything out. And she showed me pictures. It was disgusting. Like he should have been on the hoarder show. It was so very eerily weird too because as all that was happening, Netflix released hoarders on their platform. So I was like, wow, this seems fitting. I'll watch an episode of this. Sounds like we had our own, like we just had a missed opportunity of hosting. It was. Could have been on TV. I don't know. I never saw him. Like I've lived here for three years. I don't think I ever saw him. It's very strange. The place that we live. Seven tons. Seven tons. In a one bedroom apartment. One bedroom. Yeah. Like she was telling me, she said, I don't know where he slept. Are you kidding me? Was that a lie? Yeah. No, she showed me pictures. It was like the, you couldn't get into his bedroom. Like it was full. It's a little, like the top of the doorway just filled with stuff. Oh my gosh. It was bad. Fire hazard. Oh yeah. But she was like, uh, the month before that, she was like, yeah, we're having the building inspected. She was like, it passed. I said, there's no way that it's passing. That's a passing. There's no way. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. It's a passing. Let's see. You work in a male-dominant field, much like me. Correct. So, tell us about that and how you keep your confidence within that space. Oh, yeah. So, I work for a building materials supply company. So, it's basically construction. So, it's like we sell the building materials to constructions or contractors or anything like that. So, I'm pretty sure it's either 10% to 15% of the company is women and 41% of the company is 55 and older. So, like these are older men, like baby boober men. It's like God bless them. They were never taught better, but there's a lot of, hey, young lady, or like, hey, mitt. Like, you know what I mean? You know what I mean? All of those like little words that guys do that like just make your skin crawl sometimes. I think as a young woman, it's always easy to just shut your mouth and not say anything or just like, it's very intimidating. And I don't think that like women talk about that enough. It's like when you're the only woman in a room, it's very intimidating. And like if you don't have self-confidence within that space, I can understand how easily it is to just be quiet and sit there and just go with the flow and not, you know, be like, I don't think that's a good idea. You know what I mean? But I'm in human resources, so I kind of take it like really seriously to the fact of like I want to create a work environment that women want to work in. So like I want to take on that responsibility of like creating those spaces for women to speak. How I do that is being the example of like, you know, speaking up and be like, again, I don't think that's a great idea. Maybe let's do something else. And like most of the time it works. You know, sometimes you feel like, you know, they don't listen anyway, but you know, whatever. But I'm just so sick of waiting for it to happen. So I guess I'm just trying to be the happen. You're making it happen. Yeah. Yeah. Because, you know, we all have to work. And it's just like, why would I just want to make work. You're there more than you are with your family. You know what I mean? Like you're there 40 hours a week. And when you get home, you don't want to, you know, all I want to do is lay on my couch. So if I want to go, I want to go to work every day and like love going there. And as women, like sometimes we don't have that opportunity. We are like, it's just not in that space. I'm sure Taylor, you have examples of this in the sports industry as well. It's like very, it can become very overwhelming. So creating those pockets of peace for myself and for other women is like super important. Like I want people to have, you know, work life balance and a healthy work environment because people do their best work when they're happy. And someone has to create that space. Here we are. Right, right. And it's so interesting too. I mean, you brought up, we spend a lot of time, more than our families, with the people that we work with. And we don't choose the people that we work with. You just mentioned, we work with a bunch of baby boomers, which is fine. But, you know, we're out about, we choose our friends, right? But when it comes to the workplace, man, yeah, you don't get a choice. If you're on a hiring committee, you get, anyway, but, you know, you don't make the total decisions. But, yeah. And then it does get intimidating too when you're the only female. Or, you know, in some cases you're the only race represented in your space. Oh my God. And then it's so, people look at you maybe in a meeting, like, all right, the female's talking. Let her represent and give her piece on this project or whatever. No. No. Yeah, it's difficult. You have to just, you have to want it enough. You know what I mean? You have to, like, want to love yourself enough. Because, again, it bleeds over into that area of your life as well. Because it's very, you can, like, easily just, like, go under the radar and, like, do your thing every day. But if you want more for yourself, which I think everybody should, it's, like, again, starts with loving yourself. Yeah. And if the only words you see that you have is in your physical appearance, it's going to be really hard to speak. Oh, I hate that. Because it's just, like, so small-minded of people to think that, like, the only confidence you have is within your body. Because guess what, babe? It's going to go. We're all going to be 80 years old at one point. Or we're not going to be in our 20s or our 30s anymore. And we're going to look different. So you have to have something else within yourself that you love besides your hot bod. But, sis, don't get me wrong. Like, love your hot bod. We don't have it forever. So love it now because it will change. But that's just, like, so, I don't get it. I don't get that. I don't get it either. I don't know. I guess I'm just, like, 60 years old in my head to think that, oh, my God, that's all I have to offer is, like, my body. It's very strange. And sad. It's so sad. Because I'm so much more than my body. And I want to be loved. Like, my body is, like, the least interesting thing about me. Put that on a wall. Seriously. Yeah. I mean, you have a wealth of knowledge to share. Like, especially as women, like, we're loving, we're caring, we're nurturing. And every one of us is so uniquely different that, you know, to think we put so much time and work into our bodies and how we look, which I love. I enjoy every part of that. That's not it, babe. It will go and it will change. And God, you know, some of us want to have children. Girl, your body is going to change. You're going to push a little baby out of there. So, you know, you're going to change forms. But it's just, like, you're growing on the inside. So why wouldn't you change on the outside as well? Boom. Mic drop. Speaking of Cecilia having a lot of knowledge, she informed us that you, like, dilate a centimeter. Yeah, learned that. During your cycle. Yeah, your period. Yeah, you dilate a little bit. It's crazy. Also horrifying. Women are so grumpy. I know, but I've also, like, been learning that other countries give, like, menstrual PTL. Huh. So, like, you have, like, three days a month or something that you can use for when you are menstruating, which I think is amazing because the pain that we feel is, like, also learned that the pain that you feel within, like, cramping and all that is, like, can be equal to a heart attack. Especially for people with, like, ACLS and endometriosis. Bad. Yeah. So I thought that was cool. I was, like, wow. Other countries are really doing it. Yeah. And here, my line of work, we don't trust people working remotely. Yeah. God forbid. God forbid. Oh, my goodness. Well. All right. Working remotely just, like, blew open the scam that is going into work every day. Like, productivity goes up 10%. Let's put everyone back in the office. No, we got to make sure they're there. And then, honestly, you know, within those eight-hour days, how productive are those eight hours? Not productive at all. Most of it's, like, spilling tea with coworkers. Right, right. Exactly. I don't know. Not fun. How many true hours of dedicated mental capacity do we have to just – it's not realistic to expect that people can do that every day for eight hours in a row. No. I literally have this conversation. So in my office, it's me and, like, these two older guys, 165 and 155, and they're absolutely amazing. I love them to death. They're always, like, making sure I'm okay. And, like, they always want to buy me lunch and stuff like this. But I was, like, talking to them. I was, like, I can't do this. I can't sit for eight hours. I also saw a study of, like, brain scans of people who have, like, sat for eight hours or, like, people who take a walk every, like, hour for, like, 20 minutes to take a walk. Your brain is, like, working better. You can come up with better ideas and, like, you're not foggy and stuff like that. That's crazy. And it just – yeah, just looking at a computer screen for eight hours doing spreadsheets. I can't do it. I am not built that way. I am not built that way. I know. I've got to take breaks throughout the day and just walk around. I definitely do that. It's just refreshing. What about – I saw this on TikTok. I hate that. I always say that. I'm, like, well, I saw this on TikTok. It's, like, well, could you do some actual research, maybe? But these videos do prompt some good ideas. There's this one video that I saw. It was probably a Huberman study. They mentioned that, you know, why don't we entertain work naps? I'm, like, the top cop. I think about that all the time. Preschoolers are, like, the only demographics who don't need naps. They have so much energy. Us as adults are the ones who actually need nap time. Right, right. Yeah. But then, like, what defines a nap? Is that 30 minutes? I had one student tell me his naps were two hours. I said, sir, that is not a nap. Yeah, I don't know. That's, like, a – That's second sleep. Yeah. He's, like, my naps are long. I could take two hours. I said, no, you're gone for the day. Yeah, I think, like, 30 minutes or something could be totally wrong. But I think, like, 30 minutes is, like, you actually are re-energized. Because you can't sleep too much. Like, that's where that two-hour nap – Like, you're also sleeping eight hours, and then you have a two-hour nap. It's like, I think we're going overboard here, people. I think it would be super beneficial if we were to take midday naps. I agree. I mean, I used to take naps all the time during COVID. Oh, yeah. I would not tell anybody, but I would. And it was just – it was so nice. I agree. Just get a little break. 110%. When I open a company one day, I'm going to do that. It'll be, like, a nap room. Secret. Some of them have, like, yoga spaces and stuff where you can go. Or, like, little, like, arboretums in cities where there's not plants. You know? Where you can go to have, like, a nature space and just, like, clear your head and then go back to work. It would be so nice. Because, like, our bodies are not made to be sedentary, and that's why we have so many issues from the type of lifestyle that we've adopted now. Like, humans are not physically built for the demands that we put on people. And so it's no wonder people are having so many issues. We weren't designed to work eight hours a day. I'm sorry. We weren't. That's not what humans were supposed to do. But we've created a society that now exists on people constantly working, which is so sad. Yeah. In some places, 40 is really the minimum that you're allowed to do. Oh, yeah. It's like everybody's so excited to go on salary, but then it's like... Yep. Yep. Now you're working 60 hours a week. But you don't realize it. You know what I mean? Mm-hmm. You're just like, I don't know. Can I finish this? All under the other responsibilities category. Yes! Under the job description. Yep. Anything else assigned to you by your manager, pretty much. Yeah, I know this isn't in your job description, but can you do this because somebody else is busy? I'm busy, too. No. I'm not going to do that. I don't have the time. Grace, please? I'm lucky in that area because my dad's been in business, and so if I have issues with something like that, or my friends do, they can talk to my dad about it. My dad can find sneaky ways to get you more money. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Oh, you can't promote me for six more months? Okay, well then you're going to give me a bonus. That works. One of my friends told them, if you want me to be doing this and you're not promoting me for however long it was, I'm going to need a bonus to be compensated. Queen. There you go. It works. I was like, ah, fancy. Love that. I've been talking a little bit about how it almost feels like people think entitlement is confidence. Mm-hmm. I know that's something you've talked about a little bit. If you could expand on that. I don't know. There's just so much hate within the world now. I think younger girls are being taught, I don't think purposefully, but through social media and stuff like that, that being confrontational or being like, oh, I deserve this, and all of that stuff, and cockiness almost, in a way, is confidence, and it's not. Confidence has a lot to do with being humble, and like we said, trusting ourselves. If you're outwardly constantly being a problem or thinking that everybody owes you something, it's not that. I see it a lot, and it's very confusing to me. It's not. I think you have to be willing to be confrontational, but you don't have to be. No. You can be assertive without being confrontational. Yes, right. I think that's lost. Yes, and also the art of even discussing without it turning into... Advice. Yeah. We can disagree. That's okay. No one knows how to do that anymore. Mm-hmm. The whole art of like, I don't agree with that, which is fine. Love that. Please, let's chat about it. I love it. I love having discussions and digging deeper into why people feel the way that they do. I think that was in my intro. My intro about me. The very first one? Yeah. What was? I think I got into my field just because I'm interested in why people think what they think and do the things that they do. Yeah, absolutely. There's also this connotation to this. I have to convince you that what I believe is right, and now you have to believe it. It's also not how this works. No. We're all so inherently different with different beliefs and ideas. I don't have to believe what you believe, and you don't have to believe what I have to believe, and we can both coexist together. Well, I just feel like society today is... There's no open-mindedness about everything. No. It's either left or right, up or down, you know what I mean? Yeah, exactly. Black or white, whatever. There's no gray. Right. Nobody can walk up to a group of people and completely different from one another and, hey, I just want to get your perspective on this. Yeah. And let's grow from it. I want to learn from you. Yeah. Yeah. And just walk away and be like, wow, that was really interesting, and I learned that. I may not agree with it, but... Yeah. The world could be such a better place if we're all just like, cool. Yeah. You know what I mean? We're curious. Yeah. Cool. That was awesome. I totally live by that, and we'll take it into my everyday life, but that's so interesting that that person thinks that way, and it works for them. Right. I'm obsessed with that. I always want to collaborate, always want to have a whiteboard, and we're all talking and ideas are flowing, but it's not like that. You can't do that. You also have a whiteboard for that in your house, in the shared space. Oh, yeah. Yes. Yes. This is for our discussion board. Please write all of your ideas on it. We'll have a prompt for the day, and it'll start spouting out ideas. Yes. It'll be something. You have like a motto of the week. YOLO. Checking in. How are you doing? I genuinely have times where friends are really down on themselves, and I'm like, all right, I'm going to need you to stop and tell me three things you like about yourself, and people always get so uncomfortable doing that because we're not wired to think that way. And people are like, uh, I like that people like me, and that doesn't count. No. It doesn't count. Or I think what's even harder is like, tell me three things that you like about yourself that aren't physical. Yep. And they're like, oh. Yeah. I had, you know, I did that with one of my friends one time, and it was, I like the way that I look most of the time. I was like, that's not what I asked you. Because again, you're not going to look like that forever, so you have to like something else about yourself. And I will sit there, I've had to sit there for like 30 minutes or an hour just to get three things. And I'm like, fuck. Like, it's just really messed up that it's this hard. Yeah. So it is something that you have to like. You know, I like that I'm funny. I think I'm funny. Not everybody does, but I like it. It brings me joy. I can make myself laugh. I think that's also something is like, it's okay for people not to like you. Not everybody has to like you. I don't like everybody. I don't either. I don't like half of the people though. I don't like a lot of people. I can be courteous with anybody, but like, that doesn't mean I like you. Some people can't like handle that. Cannot handle that someone doesn't like them. Yeah. And that's the thing too. If you're going to level up, if you're going to, we talked earlier about getting promoted or getting up to the next level. Not everybody likes people at the top. No. Hater. And the people at the bottom that are viewing you from the top are going to be envious, they're going to be jealous, they're going to make fun. Of course. So if you're like back in the corner, like, oh, they're going to make fun of me. Listen, babe, they're already making fun of you. They're literally already talking behind your back. Everybody is making fun of you. But you know what? Just let that go. I'm sure there's people that are poking fun at me and, oh, why is she posting this or why is she saying this or X, Y, Z. I don't care. You can't give a fuck. I don't care. I'm not going to please everybody. And that is completely fine because I'm living my own authentic self. Yeah. And I'm putting out my brand and I'm happy with my brand. This is me. Absolutely. I'm confident in that. Yes. I like that. Confident in yourselves. Mm-hmm. Because you trust yourself. Mm-hmm. People are, I hate when people are always like, well, what do you think? What do you think I should do? Like, you have to make a decision, babe. Like, just do something. Even if it's the wrong choice, at least you decided for yourself without having everybody else tell you what to do because you are so worried about making the right decision for everybody else. Mm-hmm. Like, no. You're not here for anybody else. Yeah. Whatever decisions you make are going to affect you the most. Yeah. So don't be a people pleaser. You have to be okay with the decision. Yes. I think it's okay to get input. Absolutely. But you shouldn't just do what other people tell you to do. Mm-hmm. Gotta do something. That is one of the frustrating things about academia at times. There's a little bit when you're at the level that I'm at where you just gotta do what they say. Yeah. But I don't want to do that. Mm-hmm. But you have to. And then you have to remind yourself, I won't be like this forever. Yep. I don't know. I just refuse to... I mean, my biggest goal in life is to be a mom. I also think that's shitty now that the world's like, oh, you just want to be a mom. It's like, yeah. It's like, why can't I be whatever I want to be? I refuse to raise children and give them any sort of emotional trauma. I know it's going to happen, but I refuse to keep working on myself for the fact that I want to be a better person and have children. That is my responsibility to not fuck them up. Yep. So if I'm not doing work within myself, that's for them or for me or for my relationship with my partner. That's your job. I want to raise girls who are so fucking powerful and badass that no one can tell them anything. Because that's what it's supposed to be. That's what I want. Yeah. I think that's the difference too, though, whenever you're saying you want to be a mom. You want to raise powerful children who will become adults and contribute and help make other people better. That's what you want to do. You're not like, I want to have a child because kids are going to love me so much. No. And when I hear that, I'm like, oh, God. No. Or we just got married and everybody's asking us to have kids, so might as well just check that box and have kids because that's what society wants me to do. Or having kids because you think it's going to fix a problem. Oh, that's me. That is not fair. It's my responsibility to better myself, go to therapy to fix my traumas so that I don't have to belong to somebody else. That's kind of how it works. I think that's why kids terrify me because they think and think about having children differently than a lot of people. Because I'm not like, oh, I'm having a baby. It's like I am raising a human being that is one day going to be an adult. There's no handbook. I want them to be a good adult. There's a lot that you have to teach. I feel like there's a lot that you have to really pour into yourself to make yourself a good person. A lot of that is learned. I don't think a lot of people do a good job of helping their children learn how to do some of these things like identify your emotions and regulate your emotions. Figure out why you feel the way that you feel. It's okay to feel that way and all of these things. It's okay to feel that way, but it's not okay to act like that. Yes, exactly. That also goes into who you choose to have children with. That's why you can't take shit, honestly, in so many words. That's why, for me, when I view children, that's one of my biggest fears. I want children someday, but I don't want to be a single mom. Right now, I'm fearful of anybody I get involved with. Hopefully, it's a good partner and they're just going to stick by my side and all the good qualities, but that's just one thing. Yes, if you have an uh-oh. I know I would be a great mom. Absolutely. I think it also is a healthy household and a healthy relationship for the children. Absolutely. They have two parents or a whole family to help foster that growth and that learning. Absolutely. That is home environment. It's the number one thing. It's what's going on at home. Kind of going back to just raising children and parents in general, when I first got into teaching as a 22-year-old, it was kind of amazing teaching at the middle school level how, me, I was almost teaching parents how to parent their children. Wow. I believe that. Holy cow. That's scary. Well, that middle school era for kids coming in, I mean, they're babied by their parents. Oh, you're the greatest thing ever. You're the apple of my eye, which, sure, absolutely, 100%. At that moment, especially for math and science, it's that weird period of parents realizing, man, maybe my kid is not 100% telling the truth all the time. That's a hard realization. Or, man, my kid is not that great of a human being. I got to do some work. Or parents just being their kid's best friend, and at that age, that's not what they need. They need the tough love. Yeah. Absolutely. Oh, my God. I never thought about that. Mm-hmm. It's crazy. I believe it, though. I don't think a lot of people do the inner work that they need to do to be able to be a parent. It's more than feeding and putting clothes on them. It's more than an accessory. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Your baby is not a doll that you get to dress up to look just like you. This is a human being that you don't get to return when you get sick of it. Right, right. It's an ongoing, even beyond 18 years of age. Yeah. I'm 31. I still call my parents about what to do, how to do this. Tom? Dad, look at this. Dad, like, oh, man. We talk shop all the time. Yeah. I don't know. It's just all, for me, leads back to the self-confidence and self-love discussion. There has to be a standard and a bar that you set for yourself. I think that that bar is always falling. In regards for women, it's like, again, sex is love. Oh, my gosh. He told me it was pretty. Babies are the bare minimum thing that you're supposed to be doing. There's a reason that, historically, men get down on one knee and ask a woman to marry them. Yeah. Like, you're the prize, babe. Okay? So start treating yourself like the prize. Like, they ask us. They're not like, oh, you're my wife now. I mean, if you've done it differently, honestly, kudos to you. But, like, historically, women, like, we have a portal in between our legs that we bring life into the world. Like, I'm sorry. Don't fuck around with me. Like, I would rather be lonely than disrespected. Uh-huh. And, like, you have to, like, understand that, like, you are, you're it. Like, you're the prize, babe. You get the ring. You get, like, like, you have to get fought for. My dad always says that flowers don't go to bees. Dad. Dad. Dad really did well. He really did. But you have, like, it's just, girls just want to be loved so badly. And so that society never helps at all in any way, shape, or form. You have to do, honestly, the opposite of what society is telling you to live the life that you want. I think there's still a lot of paying back from when most women weren't in the workplace. Where then it makes sense that so much of self-worth revolved around whether you were married and you had children and what kind of house you had and all that. But we're not bound to that anymore. So it is frustrating to see people place so much importance in, like, how much they even feel like they're allowed to be happy if they're single. And, like, we are allowed to have more. Yeah, we're allowed to want more. You know what I mean? And, like, realistically, we can have that now. Yeah, you can. Like, thank you to the women that, like, pushed for some of those barriers to be broken. Like, we don't have to have our entire life revolve around somebody wanting to marry us. Yeah. It doesn't have to be like that anymore. No, I broke glass. We had trailblazers. And, yeah, here we are. Thank goodness for that. Thank God. Right, right. It was also living in a society that was not designed for us. Mm-mm. It wasn't. All men are created equal. It was not including the woman. Or even all men. That was intentionally put as men. Yes, it was. And this isn't, like, man-hating or anything. God fucking forbid I love men. Like, they're amazing. But it wasn't designed for us. We weren't allowed to vote. We weren't allowed to do anything. So it's still a constant struggle and a battle to do what, you know. Things outside the household. That's where our work was. It was in the household. Yeah. Like, that's unfortunate. And I do think that's a lot of where some of that still comes from. But it's, like, we are, I should use this sound, like, we're allowed to be more. Mm-hmm. Because people fought for that. Like, don't reduce us back to that. Yeah. That's not fair. Like, you have so many other things that you're doing. Be proud of yourself for those things. Yeah. Like, just, I don't know. It's so shitty sometimes. I really get frustrated with it sometimes. I know. And then, like, the pendulum swings the entire other way. You know what I mean? And it's, like, to the man-hating and the, oh, God, if you do want to just stay at home and be a mom, like, you're, like, wasting your life away. And it's, like, why can't we just, like, have a choice? You know, that was the whole thing. And that's why, like, it is, I hate women being pinned against women. Because, like, it's us. It's us against the world, babes. Like, let's do it. And we're out here bringing each other down, which is just so shitty to me. And it doesn't need to be like that. No. It's already hard enough being a woman in this world. Exactly. Let alone having women gang up against you. For what? We're fighting the same battles. Yeah. Let's be on the same team. I wholeheartedly agree. Well, see, to kind of wrap up this episode, can you leave our listeners with some gems, some advice, and maybe kind of going back to what you do, since confidence is daily or constant work, what are some things that you do to maintain your confidence? I think journaling is super underrated. Daily affirmations are super important. And then just finding things that make you feel confident. Like, for me, I love working out. Working out makes me feel like I'm the Hulk. It makes me feel like I can take over the world. If working out's not that for you, like, I know everybody's different. I don't know. Find something that makes you feel confident and you feel confident doing. And understand that it's a journey. It's not a destination. You're not going to wake up one day and you're going to be like, I love myself. It's a constant struggle. I have struggles every day. It's not linear at all. It's not up and down. It's a roller coaster, so be patient with yourself. But every day you'll see progress, so don't give up. Like, it's so refreshing to, you know, like who you are because it's a waste of time not to. That would be my pocket of advice, I guess. I think something that I really notice that you do and something I'm really proud of you for is that you demand people respect you. Yes. I love that. I do. Like, I don't fuck around with it. So many women just struggle with it, and you're just like, nope. Nope. Nope. I will literally cut off anybody. Literally anybody. No, absolutely. Thank you. It took a long time to do that because you're like so worried about, oh, my God, I don't want to upset anyone and I don't want to make anybody mad at me. And it's like, no, you're literally disrespecting me, my time, and my energy. So I'm going to draw a boundary here. Like, I mean, to be totally transparent, like, I broke up with my soulmate. The demand was not there. It was not being met. And, like, you have to demand it because no one's going to do it for you. People disrespect you, you're disrespecting yourself. And I'm like, why do you care more about whether you're disrespecting somebody else than you are about disrespecting yourself? Again, you've got to take care of numero uno. Yeah. And if your needs aren't met, then you've got to voice them. Yeah, absolutely. So I'm proud of you for that, too. Well, I mean, the whole reason that I'm friends with you guys is because, like, I always like to surround myself with people who are doing more than me. I feel like I'm at the next level. So, like, you guys inspire me so much. And, like, to be, like, I want to be like you guys. You know what I mean? And I'm like, fuck, yeah, I want to do that. I'm just being around people that help me grow. Exactly. And, like, Taylor and I were having this conversation. I'm sorry. We're probably, like, way over. But we were having this conversation yesterday. I was like, I have no hesitation with, like, moving in with her because I wholeheartedly respect her and I know that she respects me. And, like, like you said, there's probably going to be awkward conversations and stuff like that. It's not going to matter because we respect each other and we want each other to be the best we are, can be. So, like, let it be that. People that you know have your best interests in mind. Yeah. Like, there's, like, no, like, yeah. No hesitation. We're grown. We're grown. I know we both want, you know, a safe haven. And that's what we're going to create at, like, this new house is just, like, our own pocket of peace. I'm so excited for this house. I know. I can't wait. It's going to be so cute and cozy. A party to be announced. That's, like, the three of us. I know. It's going to be wild. It's going to be wild. We, like, drink wine and fall asleep at eight. I went to sleep before eight this year. Oh, my goodness. And that's adulting, friends. Yeah. Yeah. People are, like, we're going to go out at eight. And it's, like, we're homemade. I don't need two hours of sleep. I'm going to take my melatonin. Because that's important for my overall health. So, that concludes today's episode with our group. And we'll see you next time. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye.
