We certainly are not in the good corner on this one. There is good news though. The World Wide Fund say that if we plant koala friendly gums they are likely to be feeding these cuddly little beasts in less that two years. Gums grow extremely fast and can be homes for hundreds of wildlife species including the dwindling population of koalas. If you have spare land plant it out, don't knock um down, and that should help to take Australia out of that naughty corner.
