Self-development can be a broad and unclear topic, but asking someone what they are doing to develop themselves can be a simple yet powerful question. It helps to expand awareness and encourage personal growth. When it comes to specific goals, asking how someone is educating themselves in that area can be even more impactful. People generally don't like unanswered questions, so asking thought-provoking questions can motivate them to take action. Now, when it comes to questions and asking people from a self-development perspective, you can keep things very simple because, again, self-development can be a very nebulous wide topic. What are you doing to become knowledgeable in that area? See, here's the funny thing about people. Most people don't like to answer questions they cannot answer, and that's where the power of questions can plant the seed.
