The main idea of this information is that building a habit is essential for consistency in any task, such as content creation or lead generation. The speaker gives an example of starting with just 5 minutes of exercise per day and gradually increasing the time. The key is to start small and gradually build up. This concept applies to all habits, including content creation and reaching out to potential clients. Starting at level 1 is crucial for long-term success. So if you're struggling to be consistent with whatever you're doing, maybe that's content creation or lead generation, you know, reaching out to potential clients. The reason behind that is you haven't built the habit yet. It's all about habit. And because you haven't built that habit, the friction is so high, it's so hard to continue. You just end up stopping. So here's an example. Maybe a lot of you here who are listening to this, sometime in your life, you told yourself that I'll work out, I'll be consistent with my workouts. Then you do it for day 1, 2 hours. Then on day 2, you do it again, 2 hours. And then the next day, you're still trying, 2 hours. But then by day number 5, you give up. It's so hard. But what if, you did it for 5 minutes per day. And after those 5 minutes, you stop. Don't overdo it. Then the next day, you do it again for 5 minutes. The next day, you do it again for 5 minutes. And for 30 days, you're gonna do that. And I bet, you'll be able to do it because it's so easy to finish. Again, 5 minutes per day, don't overdo it. And eventually, if you're always doing it, by month number 2, maybe you'll feel that 5 minutes is too little, I want more. Now by this point of time, your body wants more. Compared to the first story, 2 hours, 2 hours, 2 hours, your body doesn't want it anymore. But this time, your body wants more. So you want to add more time that you're spending for workouts. So now, you have 10 minutes. So here it is, we're at month number 2, and your plan of action is 10 minutes per day. And then again, for the next 30 days, you were able to do it without any mental test. Then you'll be surprised, wow, I was able to workout for 2 months. Right? And of course, having that progress, you'll be able to continue it, then you'll be surprised, 5 months already, then it's been 1 year already. Right? Like it's already part of your system. And that's what habit building is all about. The moral of the story, again, it's still all about consistency, but at the same time, to be consistent, you have to start at level 1. And this applies to all of the habits that you want to build. For example, content creation. Maybe the reason why you're struggling to be consistent is because your content has a lot of friction. Like, you're just starting to post content, but you want it to be professional, it's beautiful, etc., etc. Maybe you were able to create one, but you didn't continue it after 2 months. Right? Reaching out to potential clients. If you're starting out and you're doing 50 a day, that's something that you can do, but the thing is, it'll probably drain you. The energy drains you a lot. And after 5 days of doing that, you won't be able to do it anymore because you're already drained. Then you'll tell your brain, I've been able to connect this much, I won't be able to connect that much now. Until you really can't connect for the next coming months. So, yeah. I hope this little or quick example or analogy gave you some insights on how you should do it moving forward. Again, if you want to be consistent with whatever you want to do, the answer is to build a habit. But for you to do that, you need to start at level 1.
