The students of the early childhood education program at UMPA will present a literary performance based on a legend told by Mercedes Noelia DĆaz. It is about an old Tehuelche woman who needed to migrate because winter was coming. She felt tired and had difficulty walking. Her tribe left her with enough supplies to survive the winter, but she knew it wouldn't be enough and she expected to die. Days passed and spring arrived. A group of birds flew over her shelter, singing happily. The old woman scolded them for abandoning her all winter, and one of the birds responded that they left because there was a scarcity of food and no place to take shelter during that time. The old woman understood and promised to provide them with food in autumn and shelter in winter from now on. Suddenly, a gust of wind turned her shelter into a beautiful prickly bush with yellow flowers.
