The speaker discusses their family history and personal experiences. They talk about their parents' meeting and marriage, their siblings, their mother's illness, and their sister's life choices. They also mention their brother's career as a pastor and their own relationship with their mother. The speaker reflects on their sister's materialistic lifestyle and their own contentment with simpler things. They mention some friction with their sister in the past but acknowledge that they are now on better terms. The speaker also mentions their sister's intention to leave them something in her will. Okay, so let's go, I just want to go into the, what I remember of you saying about being a child, because that's the same section that I took. And I remember you talking about how your, just to see if I understood, how your mom and your dad, now your mom was in Mexico. Your dad's from the United States. And so somehow he went to Mexico and met your mom. He had a lumber company that he, and he worked with my aunt's brother, my aunt's husband. And that's how he met my mother. Okay, so your mom's sister's husband. Okay, so your mom's sister's husband had a lumber company. Alright, and his lumber company was in Texas, you said, right? No, he was from Texas, but he was, his lumber company was going into Mexico from El Centro. Okay, so where's he from? Yeah. Alright, and so, how did you do the lumber company? So he was sending, I'm just curious. I really don't know, and I didn't ask my mom any further questions. She just said that my dad had a lumber company and he worked together with her half-sister's husband. And that's how they met. And your mom was the only daughter of her grandmother. Of your grandmother? I mean, the only, the others were half. Exactly. Okay, she was the only one. And she was a twin, but her twin died. Yeah, that's right. And so then from Mexico, they decided to move to Victorville. Yeah. And so, Judy was born in Mexico, and then Harvey? He was born in Victorville. In Victorville, and you were in Apple Valley. Okay. Then you married. Okay. And then you had a younger brother, Steven. And he was also born in Victorville? Apple Valley, probably. Apple Valley. Now, you talked about Harvey, and you talked about Judy, right? Yeah, I talked about Steven. Yeah, because Steven was much younger. Was he younger than you? Yeah. I mean, I know he was younger, but he was a lot younger. When I left the house, you know, I didn't really grow up with him after I left when I was... I remember him, but we were never... Closed. Closed, and then I... Who was your father? My father. Okay, so wait a minute now. Wait a minute now. Okay, so... My father, before my father left, he was just born. He was just born. Oh, my gosh. He was maybe, I don't know, maybe three, four months. I don't know. I can't remember that now. So, he was just an infant. An infant. So, he never knew his father. Yeah. Okay. So, we're probably like maybe six years apart or five years apart. So, you never really... I just remember my brother. We used to make... Laugh at him, because my mom would have to hide the Twinkies, you know. He would like to eat. He liked to eat. Yeah. Because he had had a Twinkie, so... Okay, so where is he today? He started out... Okay, yeah. He, at a young age, in youth, he wanted... He was saved, and then he wanted to become a youth pastor. So, he went to the Assembly of God. Oh, that's right. Uh-huh. And he graduated and became a youth pastor, and now he's a senior pastor of a church. In Texas? In Texas. Wow. Where are those? In Dallas, but they live in another... In the outside. McKinney? McKinney? Okay. McKinney, Dallas, yeah. Uh-huh. The reason I'm asking is because Elizabeth, Blanca's daughter, has got a lady that she's trying to minister to that lives in El Paso. Okay. Yeah, that's pretty... Yeah, I was wondering... That's near... Might be... That's where we go into the border when we go to Chihuahua, but we don't drive like we used to before we did, but it's pretty dangerous. So, we fly in now to Chihuahua. Yeah. It's amazing how things have changed so much. Okay, so you got the brother worked out, and I'm trying to... And your mom had gotten sick. She went into a hospital for a little bit because she got sick. Well, she would go... Yeah, we'd have to call the ambulance because... So, she got a few times. Yeah, and then she would just be always... Depressed and... Just like in her room with migraine headaches, really bad. I remember meeting her. She seemed like kind of a sad person. Yeah, she told me she never had a happy life. And actually, she was going to marry... She asked us all about her getting married, and we were all like, had children already, but it was a man that my mom had fallen in love with, and her sisters moved her out of there, out of that part of Mexico because they didn't like him. And then later on, somehow they got in contact. Really? And she was so excited, and she was going to marry him, and he had a heart attack and died. So, it never happened. Oh, gosh. Yeah. And then my niece gave up her child for adoption because she got pregnant very young with her first one and was not a very good mother. So then, when she got pregnant with the second one, my sister convinced her to put it up for adoption because my sister didn't want to take care of the baby. And she knew that Corena wasn't in a right place to do it, and the father was in prison. And so, that's when my mom broke in the hospital, and that's when she told me about things that she had gone through, and she never thought that she would have a grandchild that was given up for adoption. Wow. It broke her heart, and from that point, you could see she went downhill. Wow. That's when she told me about the hit man, and she was crying, and I never knew. The faces of people trying to kill her? I didn't know my mom's history. Yeah, yeah. She never said anything to me until that time in the hospital that she was devastated about her grandchild being put up for adoption. Who were my mom's children? Maria Del Carmen Jimenez-Watson. Maria Del Carmen Jimenez-Watson. I wonder if she was related to Bernard Jimenez. His name used to be Bernard Jimenez. There's a lot of Jimenez's. Also, I found out that my grandfather that I never met, he was the president of all the ranches, and his brother was the ambassador of Mexico. Oh, wow. I found that through my mom. So my mom, she said she didn't suffer, so I understand your grandfather was her father. Mm-hmm. So, his father. And then the other guy was her father's? His brother. His brother. And he was the ambassador of Mexico. Do you know what the grandfather's name was? No. One of these things, maybe. And she said she never had to worry about, she was never poor. The reason why is because whatever she needed, she would just have to sign her signature, and he would pay for it. All the stores knew him. He was very wealthy. He ran a house. Yeah. So whatever she needed, there was no lack. My mom said she didn't know what it was, and lack. Uh-huh. Do you think she gave her heart to the Lord, though? Yeah, she was Catholic, and she loved the Lord. I think so. Whatever. So did you say Harvey, is he serving the Lord now, or no? To his capacity. Yeah, so he loves God. Yeah, not everybody's going to be a missionary. Right. Wow. So, I mean, all of your family. My sister. Judy's not? No. She's had a different life, and she got pregnant young, and then she had Corinna, and then she married, then divorced, and then she married again Dave, and then they divorced. But he was very controlling. And then she's had quite a few men, always, a boyfriend, and the guy that divorced her years later, the lawyer, they got together, but they didn't, they figured out that he was the lawyer that brought their divorce, but he was married at the time, and years later, they opted for a dating line, so she's engaged. Right. So she was married to somebody, and she got a lawyer to help with the divorce. The second marriage. Okay. Or whatever else. What was the first one? To help with the divorce. Uh-huh. Now, years later, the lawyer that helped with the divorce, she finds online. A dating line. And then they're not engaged. They've been together for several years. For some reason, they won't, they're engaged, but because of financial something, that if she has to wait to a certain age or something, I don't know. Yeah. She'll lose money or... Yeah. So it's too bad she's not serving the Lord, then. She's very worldly, and she's very, like, her money is her God, and she, you know, always wants to be vacationing and doing and doing and doing, and this has been her life, just a little. So, poor Diane. You know what I'm saying? Remember one time she came to the ranch, and I was living in that shell trailer, and I fixed it really clean and everything. Yeah, so I was so excited. I cleaned my little trailer, and then she wanted to know where I was staying, so I said, oh, come, I'll show you. And she said, you live in this? And I was shocked. I was literally shocked, because to me... It was beautiful. To me, I didn't even think that way. Oh, I guess people don't think like this. It's just what you have, and you make it beautiful. And people just don't... They're not willing to... They're not willing to take the greater riches, that's for sure. But she did... My sister and I always had a little friction, you know, because I used to... She was working before I was, and she bought clothes, and so I would sneak in the closet and put her clothes on, but I'm larger than my sister. So I would stretch out, and she would know I was wearing them, and she would grab me by the hair and fist fight me. We had quite a journey. And I always felt like she always put me down. She's a teacher, and she was the one that achieved, and she was the one that got the house, and she was the one that lived the luxury life, you know? And then she got with Rachel a lot, and they just fed up against, you know... Against me. And then Rachel and her had a blowout, and then, you know... They're just now starting to see each other again, because they are the both... They're like the two peas in a pod. Yeah, when you were talking, I just thought of Rachel. Patrolling and everything. But my sister did want information, because she put me on her will. And I guess from her first marriage, or her second marriage, she had a ring she said that she could probably pay for a Mercedes cash with, and I think that's what she's giving me. And I told her, you know what? You don't have to do that. Take it, and sell it, and use it. But I guess she wants to give it to me. So that was kind of a surprise. Yeah. When people think of that, I think they think differently. Just like, I'm so sorry that she doesn't really... And I, you know, Jamie says, you know, he's a home witness to her, you know, don't wait, you know, get married. Actually, for the first, I just kind of started like fellowshipping a little bit with my sister. Because she lived in Huntington Beach. She sold her house and built her own. And then she bought with her fiancé, they bought this house. And so she's closer, and she's getting more closer with my children a little bit. So Mother's Day, or for Mother's Day, yeah. A day after or something. Myself, Rachel, and my sister went and had our pedicure. I still have it. I still have it. Because you can tell how many times I go and get pedicure. And Ryoko did my nails, actually. We went to where Ryoko worked. And then Ryoko did it, and she didn't want to charge me for them. But, yeah. And then my sister bought me these for Mother's Day, these sandals. My sandals were pretty worn out, and she said, I want to get in. So, you know, my sister's never been like that, Jamie. So I thought, you know, that's very gracious, you know. Let her do it, yeah. Yeah, I mean, you know. That's neat. What does she feel like? I realize, it's not like I don't have, you know. Sometimes you just have something that you can wear comfortably, and they fall apart, although you still wear them, you know. Exactly. Yeah. I know how that goes. I know how that goes. She thinks my happiness depends on materialistic, you know, like life. Okay, so there's a lot of different areas that you can touch. What can happen when you're 14? Oh, that's when your dad passed away. Yeah. And Stephen is pretty, we're not close, because one time I was there visiting him. I think it was when we went for the AC conference, but it was when I was at Summer Haven. And we went to the Morcero in Texas. And I prayed for my brother, and he fell out under the power. What? And, you know, and, you know. So, and I prayed for my brother Harvey, but he fell under the power, but he, you know, my brother, I guess it might have been a pride that, you know, like. So he got upset because he fell out? Well, I think he feels like, you know, I'm his sister, and sometimes you get a little, like, I have my degree, and, you know, I went through that. Right, yeah. Yeah, and here his sister comes, and the power got his sister. So, you know, in the spiritual sense, you know, we're, but I think he's getting better, because he doesn't really call me, and I don't really, if I call him, he won't return, because he's a very busy person. Right, right.
