George ran his longest distance ever, 6.5 miles without stopping. In total, he ran around 7.5 miles. He felt amazing after, but had sore legs and feet. Surprisingly, he didn't have much muscle soreness the next day. George had a big breakfast before the run, which may have helped. He initially wanted to run 10 miles, but cut it short due to time constraints. The decision to run came suddenly that morning. The weather and being outside earlier motivated him. Hey George, what are you school appropriately most proud of? I actually ran the longest I've ever ran, like a few days ago. And ran straight without stopping 6.5 miles, but in total ran like 7.5. That's the recent thing. How do you run often? Like semi-often, but not like a ton. How far do you run on average? Like a mile or two. So for me this was like huge. I mean I ran at a slower pace, but I was able to keep it. I got a really solid pace, like evenly across the whole run. How did you feel after? Amazing, but my legs hurt a lot. Like both right above my kneecaps were really sore and felt like they kind of pinched. My feet hurt, calves were kind of sore. But the day after though I felt fine. Like you didn't have any muscle soreness the day after? Which I was actually surprised with. I thought I wasn't even going to be able to like go to the bathroom, like sit on the toilet or anything. I felt like I was going to be like an old man. Because after like leg days with weight lifting, I can't even get up the stairs half the time. But for this run I was actually able to move fine. And the morning, that morning I had pancakes, sausage, and cheese. So I think that's what helped drive me to that run. Why did you run? I just wanted to go for a really long run. I was aiming for 10 miles, but I was with Joseph and Tanner. And we just cut it short because it already took us like an hour and a half just to get to like 7.5. So we just said whatever and just cut it. I mean technically in total I went around 10 miles, adding on walking and biking because I biked back home too. So in total I did around 10 miles. How was this like, when was the decision made that you wanted to do this relay, like planning it or did it just kind of like? It kind of just happened in the morning to be honest. I was already going for a run and then Joseph sticks me and he's like, why not go 10? And I was like, yeah. So I just planned like an hour or two and like started drinking a lot of water and stretching and then I went for a run. And the weather was perfect. It just got off stormy too, so that kind of made me want to go out and run too. Because earlier that day I was helping gardening with my grandma. So I was already outside and like I just kind of.
