The speaker begins by expressing gratitude for the listeners' participation in prayer and devotion. The theme of the devotion is suffering and the speaker references Joshua 1:8, emphasizing the importance of meditating on God's word. They then read John 16:33, which reassures believers that although they will face difficulties, they can find peace in Jesus. The speaker acknowledges that suffering is a part of life, but believers have hope in the second coming of Jesus and the promise of a new heaven and earth without pain or suffering. They encourage listeners to seek God's peace through prayer and reading the Bible during times of hardship. The devotion ends with a prayer and an invitation to join future prayer and devotion sessions. This is the deed that the Lord has made I'll rejoice and I'll be glad in it God bless you so much beloved for connecting with us in our just ended prayer time and also for connecting here in our morning glory devotion series we believe that God has a word for you and you will be blessed my name is Ohenebakuzi Kingsford and I will be leading this morning's episode of our morning glory devotion series before we go into the word for the morning let's cleanly start off with a prayer thank you our God our Father for this brand new day we pray that you will speak unto us as we come into your word to understanding and authentification in Jesus name we pray amen beloved can we take our confession from the book of Joshua chapter 1 verse 8 this book of the law shall not depart out of my mouth but I shall meditate in it day and night and I may observe to do according to all that is written in it for then I will make my way prosperous and then I would have good success amen for today's devotion we're looking at the theme suffer here suffer no more suffer here suffer no more and we'll take a look on scripture from the gospel of John chapter 16 verse 33 John chapter 16 verse 33 reading from the message Bible I have told you all this so that trusting me you will be unshakable and assured deeply at peace in this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties but take heart I've conquered the world but take heart I've conquered the world amen suffer here suffer no more the world as God made it has never been the same ever since the entrance of sin in the garden of Eden sufferings difficulties and challenges have become the being of everyone born of a woman every single one of us whether saved or unsaved has a fair share of tears and pain in this present world beside this the believer is also faced with the sufferings that come with the cross the criticisms the intimidations the rejections and opposition that the world throws at us because of the godly values we are subscribed to and the exclusive message of salvation that we preach and the Lord Jesus in our open verse was very clear about this by implication the Lord was saying that how this present world remains bones will break hearts will melt tears will grow and fears will continue to mount here in our uncle scripture Jesus assures us of his peace which is that divine assurance of rest conferred upon the believers heart the virtue of peace brings a strong knowing to the believer that it is well this peace the Bible teaches us comes to us when we pray it also comes when we fix our minds on the Lord through his Word so when you are faced with challenges and don't know what to do I encourage you to spend some time in prayer and in the Word of God the peace will not necessarily take away the troubles but will act as an anesthesia as you go through the sufferings beloved unlike the unsaved you and I who have believed in Jesus have hope a blessed hope which is that one day Jesus will appear again and not only so but also that we will be with him when he appears this is our greatest hope and our greatest source of comfort that the Lord will come and receive us unto the place that he has prepared for us a place without tears without pain where no one betrays another where no denials and disappointments are it would be a new heaven and a new earth that is when God would have put an end to all sufferings forever we are even assured by the scriptures that even if we do not experience this in our lifetimes we shall be raised from the dead to partake of it and we will in no way be left out so beloved when you go through any sufferings know that the peace of God is there for your taking get on your knees and get into the Word and the peace of God will flood your heart more so as you go through your seasons of sufferings remember to keep your eyes on the blessed hope that our Lord and our Savior Jesus will soon appear and put an end to all of this when you hear of the second coming of Jesus let your heart rejoice and not fret for the redemption from the sufferings of this present world is at hand Maranatha Lord Jesus come amen we'll take our memory verse for today from the book of revelations chapter 21 verse 1 and verse 4 and I saw a new heaven and a new earth for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away and there was no more sea God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death neither sorrow nor crying neither shall there be any more pain for the former things are passed away amen let's kindly end on a note of prayer father we thank you in Jesus name for your way that has come we pray that your peace will flood our hearts even as we go through seasons of difficulties we pray also that you help us fix our eyes on this blessed hope as one of these days will appear and will be caught up with you in eternity we thank you so much in Jesus name amen have a God bless you so much for
