Psalms 91:16 With LONG LIFE I will satisfy him, and Show him My salvation
The speaker begins by introducing themselves and their podcast. They then talk about the topic of longevity and how it relates to their spiritual beliefs. They mention that longevity means something that lasts a long time and has a constant existence. They also mention that they looked up the definition of longevity on Google and provide an example sentence using the word. They then read from Psalm 91, emphasizing verse 16 which talks about God satisfying believers with long life and showing them salvation. The speaker explains that salvation means being saved or protected from harm and that it is important to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. They encourage listeners to trust in God and give their lives to Him. The speaker concludes with a prayer, thanking God and asking Him to move in the hearts of listeners. They end by wishing everyone well and urging them to give glory to God. Hello, hello, hello. Hi everybody and welcome back to my podcast. My name is Skola and you are listening to Revealed. I'm here today to talk on the topic of longevity. My spirit has led me to share this with you today and I have everything a little bit organised today so please bear with me and listen well and I hope I've met everybody well. I want to first start with prayer. Father God, we call upon your holy name in this moment, that you will sanctify, cleanse, consecrate, protect, save and help myself and not only myself but the listeners that I'm tuning in this day, evening, hour to hear this word. Father God, as the spirit leads, let there be less of me and let there be more of you. Let your glory and your majesty be seen by all and heard by all that listen to this podcast. Father God, I bless your holy name and I pray that you bless the listeners as well, oh God. Move in them. Use me as your will, oh God. Let your will be done on earth and your glorious kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. Less of me, oh God, and let you be greater. For your name is mighty and there is none like you. You are glorious in all your ways. You are Elohim. You are king of kings. You are the blessed redeemer. You are the one that causes my heart to sing. You are the one that guides my steps and nurtures me and grows me in your love and keeps me and the listeners in your presence as long as we are willing and able to hear your word. To you and you alone be the glory. Let your glorious kingdom come and your majesty be known around the world. Father God, use this voice of mine to speak your truth and only your truth. Anything from the enemy, oh God, dissolve it. Any distraction, destroy it. Remove any obstacles. Send your holy angels to guard my steps, to take charge of my ways. Let your spirit speak through me, using me as a vessel. I am yours, oh Lord. Use me as you will. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. Okay, right, so longevity. Longevity, when I first heard this in the spirit, it just reminds me of, you know, what I've been told that longevity is, which is something that lasts a long time, that has like an existence that just keeps on going, something that reoccurs or is constant, and constant for a very, very, very long time. Longevity, I don't believe it has an end, it's long lasting. That's what I understood it to be when I heard it in my spirit. However, I did look on Google because I think Google holds a lot of knowledge, and it's always good to get that information as to what it actually means to the world, as you all know it. So longevity means a long duration of an individual's life. It means long life, the greater longevity of a woman compared with men. That's just an example speech sentence. A long existence or service. Her longevity in office now appeared as a handicap to the party. This is just another quote of how you can use longevity in a sentence. The spirit led me to read Psalms 91. Let me get that up real quick. And it was very touching and very moving when I read this. Okay, Psalm 91, there's going to be an emphasis on verse 16, but I'm going to read the entirety of the scripture. And yeah, for those that need to hear it, listen well, those who have ears that don't hear, because God is using this to speak to you in your circumstance, it can give you confirmation, it can give you what it is that he needs to, you know, give to you in this moment. Okay, so Psalms 91, the title is Safety of Abiding in the Presence of God. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, he is my refuge and my fortress. My God in him I will trust. Surely, he shall deliver you from the snails of the fowler, and from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with his feathers. And under his wings, you shall take refuge. His truth shall be your shield and butler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and 10,000 at your right hand, but it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look and see the reward of the wicked. Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge. Even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample on the foot. Because he has set his love upon me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name. He shall call upon me and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him and honour him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation. Wow. Yes, God wants to bless everyone that trusts in him. He wants to show you his salvation. Verse 16 says, With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation. This is beautiful. You know, salvation to me is again another thing I need to mention to you guys. Salvation to me is to salvage something, right? When you go to a repair shop or somewhere where you're buying second hand goods or goods that have been, you know, used and you're repurchasing it or you're purchasing it for the first time but it's the second purchase of that item to a new owner, right? Or to the same owner For me, that salvage is when you repair, you brush it off, you take away the stains, you clean it, you fix whatever issues it may have, you put it back together, you seal it, you polish it, you varnish it, you sand it where you need to and then you put it out for those to come and see and look at it and enjoy it. And the person that buys it looks after it and keeps it. That's the same sort of thing that is with our salvation. Where Jesus died on the cross for us, he died and shed his blood, his blood was the payment, his death was the payment for all our sins. The minute you take him and accept him as your Lord and your Saviour, as your King, as your Guardian, as your Comforter, as everything that encompasses all that you need, he will satisfy you with long life and show you his salvation. Salvation is a noun, it's an act of being saved or protected from loss, harm, risk, destruction, etc. Salvation is a big deal, it's not one to be taken lightly and God wants to show us his salvation. He wants to preserve us and deliver us from harm, from ruin and from loss. That loss is the loss of him, the loss of his presence, the loss of his taking leadership in your life because all he wants to do is give you goodness, longevity, salvation, joy, happiness, patience, kindness, a spirit of giving, a loving heart. He wants to soften you, he wants to clean you up, he wants to wash you with his word, he wants to prepare you to make sure that you can handle everything that's going to come your way because it's going to be great. Everything that you've endured thus far, that hasn't been great for you, God will turn it around for your good but you must give your life to him. You must embrace the good news which is that his gospel is that he came to save us. He is the Messiah, the Jewish Messiah, my Messiah, my King and my Lord. Theology says salvation is deliverance from sin and its consequences, believed by Christians to be brought about by faith in Christ Jesus. The Christian gospel for salvation is for all of mankind. So guys, if you haven't given your life to Christ as of yet, I ask you to really take a deep look inside your heart and listen to that voice inside you that says there is truth in the word of God. Jesus Christ is the way, he is the truth and he is the light and he wants to help you, be with you and guide you and protect you. So trust in him for he is trustworthy, he is faithful in all his ways. He is a just and good God and he loves you like he loves me but he loves you more and I love you too. So guys, remain blessed, let's close in prayer. Father God, thank you for your word, thank you for leading this conversation, this testimony, this preaching, this deliverance that I've given today. Thank you for helping me and guiding me and showing me the way in which I should go in order to deliver the message that you want to be delivered. Let your will be done oh God and your mighty kingdom come in all the earth. Father God, I pray that all that have listened, let their ears be attuned to the message that it is delivered, that has been delivered today. Thank you for you are honest oh God and you are good and you are glorious in all your ways. Thank you for you are the truth. Thank you because you cause my heart to sing and dance to you. I praise your name for there is none like yours. You are the most powerful God. To all those who are in need of you, who are in desperate need of you in this very moment oh God, I pray that you move in their hearts. You take position in their lives and guide them to your truth and your salvation oh God. And satisfy them with longevity in your mighty God. Keep them under your shadow, protect them, protect all the ears, protect all the minds, protect all the hearts that have heard your word today. In the most marvelous name of the most high God. Amen. Jesus name. Amen. Alright guys, it was great speaking with you guys today. I bid you all a very good day or good night or good evening. God bless you. Be safe, be well and give glory to God. Amen.
