Hi I'm Holly, I'm Gillian and I'm Emma. You're listening to Three Women on One Journey, our unfiltered, uncut podcast where we try to navigate this journey we call life. Join us every week for conversations, laughter and witty banter. Hello and welcome to week seven of our podcast. This week, again, there's only two of us. One of our woman's missing. She's having trouble with her laptop. So while she's sorting that out, me and Holly thought we would come on and just ask each other some random questions. Holly? Yes Gill? Do you mind if I ask you some questions? You're going to ask me them anyway, aren't you? Do you play any musical instruments? I don't. Well, okay. So I used to play the recorder at school, at infant and junior school. And then I never played it for years. And then the other day, we were watching something on the telly. I was like, I need a recorder. So I went on to Amazon and I bought one for me, my mum, my seven-year-old niece and my three-year-old niece. And I was like, we're going to have so much fun. Is it came? Do you have it right now? They're downstairs in the little downstairs cupboards. It's called the Glory Hole. The recorder one? No, it's called the Glory Hole, but it isn't a Glory Hole. Apparently, older people call it that. Do you stick your recorder through it and somebody blows it? No, it's just a shit hole. So in the way that I've got my hobby cupboard, where I've just got all my hobby shit in there, you've got a recorder cupboard? Yeah. A Glory Hole for recorders? Yeah, just like toys for the girls, obviously, the vacuum, the iron, etc. And I did go to this, it was like a marching band type thing. I went there for maybe about six months until somebody dared me to nick a bottle of lemonade from their little tuck shop and I got asked to leave. But I've done the trumpet and the flag and I quite like doing the marching. You know, I'm going to ask to see a video of you doing this while you're playing the recorder. Okay, that can be arranged. I'm just picturing your mum recording you in your room. No, it'll be in the front room, maybe out in the garden. Yes, the weather's nicer, get your marching band uniform on, go into the garden, give us some London's burning. Yeah. So the recorder. Yeah. Now what about you? No, I can't play an instrument. I've tried lots of different instruments, of course. The last one I tried was the kazoo. Yeah. Do you remember? Yeah. Did you get on? Yeah, actually you influenced me to get the kazoo. I've got one so that we could have a kazoo have a go. Kazoo off? Yeah, kazoo off. Yeah. I think we only done that for about two weeks during the music quiz we used to do on stereo. The section where it was like, guess what song I'm playing with this kazoo? Yeah. That was great. I know. We should bring that back. Definitely. But I tried piano, I tried guitar, I tried drums. I got Alex a drum kit, I think for like our fourth birthday. And it was like mid-sized drum kit, it wasn't a full drum kit. I used to bash into that, but no, I don't have any. I say I don't have any musical ability, like I have used like music programs for years, making like electronic music. So yeah, I mean I guess that's an instrument. Yeah, it is, I think. Yes. Yes, I do play an instrument, Holly. I make electronic music. I know, Sarah, you are good at singing, aren't you? Am I? Yeah. I would listen to that before I'd come on here. Oh, yeah. It came on my daily mix. I was making dinner and I was like, I'm going to put daily mix on. That was the first song that came on and I was like, oh, reminds me of you now. And it reminds me of the time that I sang it to you. And you of me. No, me of you. We have a song. Yeah, we do. Let me pick a question. Okay. What is your guilty pleasure or pleasures? I hate that question. Can I ask it again? I do. Do you know, I hate that question and I also hate which song or like what kind of music is your guilty pleasure. I hate it because I don't feel any guilt in my pleasure. Yeah, that's the same as me. But when I say it, you're going to already know and it isn't, I don't feel guilty. Yeah, I don't feel guilty about it. Well, if you don't, I'll share mine. So my guilty pleasure is grey hair on a man. You already knew that though, didn't you? I don't know what made you feel guilty. I guess because when you're late 30s, are you supposed to like somebody of your own age or somebody who's like 50? Do you know what I mean? It's not that big an age gap. No, I know. I mean, just a minute ago before I was coming up, Stephen Munger is going to be on the telly next week. Who? What do you mean who? Curly hair comedian. I didn't know that. He's going to be on Beat the Chasers and I was like, oh, I'm going to have to watch that even though I don't really watch that because he's on there. I'm going to watch it. I've just seen a picture Shut up. Is that your guilty pleasure? Obviously, poor Hollywood is. But yeah, like Stephen, Mickey Flanagan, I know that he's not an oil painting. The two of them are quite similar to be fair. I thought that's who it was when I looked at the picture. I don't know if it's Yeah, you've definitely got a type. I don't know where poor Hollywood fits in though. I don't know. So I must like curly hair and grey hair. So yeah, that's my guilty pleasure along with sausages. I really like eating sausages. I'm going to hold my hands up. I just really like them. Do you sit in your glory hole eating sausages and playing the recorder? No. They go in Big Bad Barry, which is the name of my air fryer. Is it Barry for EastEnders? No, it's not Barry. You're better looking than that, Barry. Is your air fryer better looking than Barry for EastEnders? Yeah. That's a shame. Yeah, so that our vacuum has got a name. Our kettle's got a name. Wow. Microwave. Microwave. Microwave. And the halogen oven's called Halle. And the kettle's called John after John Catley. The vacuum cleaner is called Sharky. Oh, you've got a shark? Yeah. And the iron's called Ronnie. Why the hell? I run. We went totally off topic then. Yeah. Jesus Christ. Do I turn to ask a question? What's the most annoying habit someone can have? I would say two things. Breathing too heavily. Like there was this lad that sat behind me in assembly. Because we used to go in alphabetical order, sat in the theatre that was next to our school. That was where we would have our assembly a few times a week. Anyway, so he sat behind me. All I could hear was, like that, for about 15, 20 minutes. And I was thinking, I just looked and turned at him and I'd go, right, okay, yeah, like that. And I thought, I just wanted to say, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh,
