A radio announcement reports a fire that is under control. Then an advertisement for a camp is mentioned. Two friends arrive at the camp and learn about a past incident involving a murder. They experience strange occurrences in their room and find a newspaper about the murder. They see a man with an axe outside, but it turns out to be the caretaker. The caretaker knows about the murder but dismisses it. Mom sighs and turns on the radio. Breaking news! The fire has broken out and we are out of control. Officers are on the scene and say everything is under control. They didn't leave the country. In other news, are you guys going camping and don't know where to go? Well, don't worry because we have a perfect place for you. What do you think of exploring the world's finest camping spots? Come to D.L. Camp. We have a lake where you can go swimming and canoeing. When the drawers opened by themselves. Gabe, was that you? No, it was me. The drawer just opened by itself. That night, PJ and Gabe go investigating to find out more about what just happened in the room and what the caretaker had said in the beginning. They went searching downstairs to the living room and near the campfire they found a newspaper and on the front page that the house was a murder house. Gabe looked. PJ hands Gabe an old newspaper which reads, Sheriff reads a gruesome discovery today when the bodies of a vacationing couple were found at the cabin on Dead Man's Lake. PJ and Gabe see a man with an axe standing outside in the heavy rain. The man comes closer and stands outside the door. PJ and Gabe are terrified and can't move. The door creaks open. The murder is back. Calm down. I was just outside the campfire room. Look at the newspaper. Just calm down. There is no murderer here. Evening. Ah, oh my gosh. You've got to stop doing that. I just wanted to check on you guys to see if you're still here. Do you know anything about this? Gabe shows the newspaper to the caretaker. The murderers are never solved. What? Never mind. Just go back to bed.
