It is evident, I do better when I feel like the world against me and think I should never win. Can I stop it? Pocket profit every time I push a pin. But I do not push a pin. Fuck a pen and a pen that imprison all my kin. And my potlucks and my plans. Fuck the politicians that fuck with the prisons at the end. I got potlucks comin' home from Rockies when they in the pen. Tryin' to make a mess, but baby mama really know the key. And they cannot sell no marijuana, but I won't let them in. Man, them crackpots, they don't know the key. And they can't sell no marijuana, but I won't let them in. And they can't sell no marijuana, but I won't let them in. And they can't sell no marijuana, but I won't let them in. And they can't sell no marijuana, but I won't let them in. And they can't sell no marijuana, but I won't let them in. And they can't sell no marijuana, but I won't let them in. And they can't sell no marijuana, but I won't let them in. And they can't sell no marijuana, but I won't let them in. And they can't sell no marijuana, but I won't let them in. How's everybody doing? I want to do introductions. I want to do salutations first, this wonderful Monday. Yes, we are a little bit late on the posting schedule because yesterday was not a very good day for me. I actually, for the last week or two, I think I mentioned this last podcast, I've been in the dumps. I've been a little down in the dumps. And I've been a little down in the dumps. And I've been a little down in the dumps. And I've been a little down in the dumps. And I've been a little down in the dumps. And I've been a little down in the dumps. And I've been a little down in the dumps. And I've been a little down in the dumps. And I've been a little down in the dumps. I don't know what it is, but it's hidden. It's funny the way your mind works, oftentimes when it comes to somebody with mental illness or just somebody with immense stress upon their lives. I just can't get my mind to stop telling me that nothing's worth it, nothing's ever going to be worth it, and I should just quit. I just can't get my mind to stop telling me that, and I don't know why. I really don't. But the point is, the thing is with that, you can't let them win. You can't let the voices in your head, the voices that are trying to prey on your downfall, you can't let them win. You have to persevere through whatever you're trying to accomplish, whatever you're trying to do. Because those voices were put there for a reason. They were put there for a reason to hinder you, to come about a quicker downfall when it comes to you. And it's not worth it, it's really not worth it, it's not necessary, because those words that are coming out of your own mind, believe it or not, they're not true. They're a construct of your own self-destructive imagination, or subconscious as some people like to call it. You just need to keep pushing through. Because what is true today might not always be true tomorrow, and what is true today might not be true at all. It just might be put into the perspective that the truth is being told. But it could not be, indeed. It could also be a lie. So, most of the times it is, and most of the time you're just trying to self-sabotage. I find that to be the case with me. Not something that I would like to continue doing, or something that I even have control over most of the time, because most of the time I don't have control over it, it's just something that happens, and then the emotions just set upon me like a disease, pretty much. I don't know, the best analogy I would have is if you touch poison ivy, and then the rash just starts to spread across your body with every touch of its poisonous application. So, I don't know, I just haven't been able to kick the depression bug for the last couple of days, and it's really hard, it really is. But I'm still here, we're still trucking along, you know, as the saying goes, and we're making sure we're getting that episode out for you guys, alright? That's what motivates me the most, is putting my content out to the world, no matter how mediocre or remedial and ridiculous it might be. But like I said, we're doing it uncut, raw, unfiltered, that's what this podcast is all about, alright? It's all about really digging deep into whatever it is that the fuck that I want to talk about, and whatever I'm feeling at the time, so yeah, it's really, it's about you guys, but it's about more me, me trying to get into the nitty gritty with you guys, so it's more about me. That being said, let's move into our motivational segment for today. You know I'm great at segueing, I just do it often, and I'm so great at it. So yeah, segue into our motivational segment. Today I just want to emphasize the importance of persevering. Like I just said, you gotta keep trucking no matter what comes at you, no matter what emotions, no matter what curveballs of a life, what mishaps or discrepancies that tend to set us back and make it harder for us, you gotta keep on persevering, you gotta keep on pushing through, because consistency is key when it comes to anything long term that requires focus and consistency to succeed. So that's why it's key. You have to continue doing and pushing on forward towards your goal to actually achieve it. That might be common knowledge for some, but some, it is common knowledge, but we tend to forget. We tend to put it in the back of our mind and hold it in this little tic-tac container or whatever analogy you would like to use to describe a container that is easily discarded. I mean, I say throw them away, take that container, it's like what are they good for, you can't really use them for shit, there's nothing there. But we should not be discarding those key pieces of knowledge. Consistency is making sure you remember to keep going, even when it gets hard, even when you want to give up, even when it just is not panning out, it's not lining up for you. You gotta keep going, because if you quit, then you're just setting yourself back even further. I might have already said this, I have a vague memory of saying something along these lines, but it's important, and the fact that I don't have anything else to say does not have anything to do with this point. It's the point of I'm speaking to myself as well, low-key, because I need to persevere in my own life. It's very hard for me to stay focused and on track with one thing, because I want to jump to another thing as soon as I start the first thing, and then I'm getting sidetracked with the first thing, and starting the other thing, and even as I'm talking right now, my mind is drifting into several different directions, and I'm trying to keep a hold on the string of consciousness that I have, that is this podcast, and the topics that I discuss. So, therefore, it's not as easy as you think. Sometimes I just sit here, and my mind goes into a blank space, and the words coming out of my mouth are simply just words on autopilot for the simple reason that I have this task, and I'm doing it, and I do remember I'm doing it, and I have to keep doing it to continue towards my goal. Talking for an hour straight to what seems like essentially no one at first that turns into people, but it's not easy. It's hard. Talking to anybody on your daily journey, just walking up to a co-worker and asking them, oh, have you seen this such TV show? Do you know what ongoings are happening this weekend regarding the office? It's any interaction you have. You get the gist of what I'm saying, but basically perseverance, y'all. Keep coming at it like it's the only thing you got to come at, and you will succeed. I'm saying that from experience of other people's successes. I haven't got there yet, of course, because I'm here talking to you, you few people who are listening, but no matter, it's the last. It's just not my time yet. I have to understand that I'm still very, very young. 24 is a very young age to accomplish anything. People have done it sooner and before 24, but those people have a lot of factors that I don't, and you have to count into the ... You have to take into account the factors that are against you, and the factors that are in play that help other people, because of course, if you have more help, then you're going to get to your goal faster. It's just how it is. If you have no help, then it's going to take you a little bit longer, and that might be frustrating to some people, but it's just a fact of life. One person can't move a couch. Two people can move it a short distance, but it takes two people or more to make a task easier or more accessible. That being said, get your team together, get to work, and stay working, and don't stop until you reach your goal, and then make a new goal and reach that one. That being said, I'm speaking to myself. Don't get discouraged from the voices in your head, because the voices in your head are wrong, especially if they're spewing negativity and things that aren't helpful. That being said, we're going to go into our first topic of the day. I think that's why we waited so long, because as you know, well, as you know, as you don't know, if you do, if you don't, the Grammys were last night. The 2020 Grammys Awards were last night, and it was a sweep for most people. It was a very interesting award ceremony. There's a lot of winners, a lot of people that we were rooting for who got their due diligence, their justice, as far as their music careers are concerned. I just want to go over basically who all won last night and the backlash. Not backlash, per se, more as the buzz around the winners and the albums, all of that, because we love the Grammys. We love music around here, and we love musicians at the High Yellow Podcast, because we are one. R&B had a big night last night. R&B had a night on its hands, all the way from SZA, all the way down to our go, our girl, wonderful, wonderful, Coco Jones. Love her. Coco Jones has been one of our ones to watch since about 2008. She was a Disney Channel kid, and she starred on a lot of shows and movies, a movie, Let It Shine, that being said. It's really been a long time coming for her. It's really been a very long time coming, and I just couldn't be happier for her, because at one point in time, there was a point where she was, I wouldn't want to say snubbed, but she kind of was pushed under the rug in Hollywood. She had done the Disney Channel thing, and her career wasn't recovering just quite as fast as, you know, we would like to, or she would have, all of us would have liked to see her progress, especially when there's other girls out here like Miley Cyrus, and there's not many black people on Disney Channel back in the time. It was really just Raven and a few other latinx members of the Disney Channel crew, but yeah, Coco Jones won for I See You, her smash R&B hit of the summer, 2023, and I just really just don't think it could be any more deserving. She had got on to Bel Air around that time, that was another win that she had this last year, and I just feel like once she resumed her stardom, and she went on the Terrell Show, and they linked up, and then she started making music again, and she was doing the acting tip, she just had so much going on, it reignited her career in the best way, and now she has a Grammy. I'm just so glad she had received the support that she deserved, and the team that she needed around her to achieve this such a feat, like a Grammy is a Grammy, like one of the most prestigious awards in all of music, and you got it. Speaking of somebody who deserves a Grammy, well-deserved, been deserved, since she was about, I don't know, 14, 8 years old, Miss Hannah Montana herself, Miley Cyrus, won her first two Grammys, not one, coming out the gate swinging, she needed to come for reparations because honestly she should have been, got it, last year for her last album, and she won for the song, Flowers, and she won for another category, hold on, somebody's talking right now, she won for Record of the Year, and I just feel like if that category was not there, she wouldn't have won, because she was up against some heavy, heavy hitters, she was up against SZA, she was up against Taylor Swift, she was up against Billie Eilish, like these are things, these are people who don't play, Taylor automatically was going to get Album of the Year, because they just love to give, like for the past five years they've been giving this woman more credit than she's deserved, I mean she had the highest grossing tour of 2023, you think that she wasn't going to get Album of the Year, that's Miss Taylor, alright, I don't care about it, it wasn't a good album, I think that if we should have had an Album of the Year it would have been SZA, but I mean I digress, it's not my choice of course, but Taylor has enough awards, let's just agree to that, so, another one of our favorites won last night, Victoria Monet for her album Jaguar 2, Dulse, well deserved, Victoria Monet has been in the zeitgeist for a long time as a writer, more than a musician, but in the last, I would say seven years she's made her mark as a musician, and her music is impeccable, I mean you really can't lose, I actually just came into more recognition of her this last year with Her Rise, with On My Mama, one of her biggest songs of the year, and I believe she also has a couple other songs, she also does a lot of features with a lot of artists, and I know her from her earlier work in 2018 with Machine Gun Kelly, she did a song with him and it's pretty good, I like that song, I listen to it often, so, yeah, another person we would be remiss to recognize is R. King, the curator of our theme song, and that would be Killer Mike, Killer Mike won three Grammys, all of them in rap category, it was a sweep, yes, I'm very proud to say, best rap performance, best rap song, and best rap album, Killer Mike, well deserved, very good album, very crisp, clean album, it's full of bars, it's full of emotion, it's straight Atlanta, it's straight Atlanta more than a lot of albums that have come out have been in the last six years, I would say, I just couldn't agree with this accolade more, as far as him receiving it, I had to think about my words for a second there, and I just, I just believe it, it was very well deserved, and unfortunately, he got arrested for some alleged physical altercation after or during the show, I'm not sure what the timeline is, because it's not, the details are very murky, there's not a lot of information about it online, so, but from what I'm hearing, he wasn't able to give his acceptance speech for his awards, well, not all of them, I did see one of, I did see a video of him giving a speech, so I don't know for which award that was, at what point in the night, but he did give one speech, but he wasn't able to do it for one of the awards, so he was arrested during the show, from my understanding, and it just seems like it was false, like it was, it was unwarranted, as most of the time arrests that reside in the black community or the black zeitgeist are, but in this case, really, I just feel like he was trying, they were trying to knock a man while he's up, because he ain't down, he won three Grammys, it was a sweep for all in the rap category, let's mind you how hard that is, especially how popular hip-hop music is these days, it's not an easy feat to do that, so, Killer Mike, at 48 years old, achieves that, as a rapper, I mean, honestly, there's not a lot of rappers in his age group that are putting out records that are as prolific or curated to the struggle as far as today's day and age goes, it was just very, it spoke to society, it spoke to what's going on current day, and not a lot of albums are doing that right now, especially in rap, it's just the same shit, they're getting more caught up than they are playing catch-up, as far as playing catch-up with what we know to be today, that being said, prayers going out to him, I congratulate him for his success, they can't take them Grammys away from you, and they definitely can't take your freedom from you for too long, especially when you didn't do nothing wrong, so, that being said, props to him. Another person on our radar that has won a Grammy, is well-deserved, in the country sector, Miss Lainey Wilson, she has won for Bell Bottom Country, and it was the best country album, I will say, that as far as Lainey Wilson's concerned, last year I was playing What A Man Ought To Know, and that was my country song of the summer, of the season, of all of it, really, so honestly, props go out to her, Lainey Wilson's been working hard in this industry for about 12 years, and she's finally got her Grammy, Miley's been working in there for a long time too, and she just finally got her Grammy, it should have been happened, but you know, what matters is it was recognized, doesn't matter when it happened, it matters, but as long as the accolades are received, that is the number one important thing, so, that being said, Lainey Wilson, I'm so happy for you guys, everybody, a part of your team, and who won, the Clark Sisters were also awarded with an Achievement Award, definitely well-deserved, legendary group, love the Clark Sisters, love their performance that they did, did see that, caught on video, online, so, the Clark Sisters, legendary group, love them, just said that, but yeah, a lot of good people hit the stage, and a lot of people won, Casey Musgraves, another country, love of ours, she won an award as well, well-deserved, I believe she had a Christmas special out last year, so, but as far as people who we care about though, those are the biggest names that have won awards on our radar, just a little recap, but other than that, we had Fantasia doing a very good performance, good is not the word, but I'm just, it's positive, positive performance for Tina Turner, tribute, as she did, it was very, very, very spectacular, I don't understand what else you would expect from Fantasia, but, also, Oprah was there, Oprah Winfrey, she actually presented the award to Tina Turner, so, yeah, she, there was just a lot of stars there tonight, I mean last night, and I really just couldn't be happier with the outcome, it was a pretty good sweep, you already know Billie Eilish got her awards for Barbie and whatnot, they just, I mean, at this point, she just comes to collect, that's all she does, it's the Grammy, she's been getting Grammys since her first couple debut albums, so I'm not surprised about Billie, Billie's already proven to us that she's gonna come correct every time, so there's no need in doubting that, just expect it, pretty much, so, that being said, we're gonna move on to a lesser, more disturbing topic, but needs to be reported on, because I saw this, and I was just like, if I was this person who, my supporters are doing these immeasurable acts in my name, or that have anything to do with my campaign, or character, or overall person, just, person, just, I would be ashamed, not only ashamed, I would be outraged, a Trump supporter cuts off his father's head and shows it on a live stream, because he is a devout Trump supporter, and his father voted for Biden, and these people are crazy to an extent of other psychosis, this man cut his own father's head off, one that he had been living with most, if not all, his adult life, and childhood life, so, you're living in the same house with your parent, the one that helped you get on this earth, helped you get on this earth, you cut his head off, and then you proceed to incriminate yourself by showing his severed head, wrapped in plastic, on a live stream, the mental instability that has to come about for that to be the case is baffling to me, because I would never have thought that you would be that stupid, so you can tell me in the same breath that you believe in everything that the American Constitution represents, including whatever Trump has sprinkled in there over the last six to seven years, but you can't understand the basics of common law, and you shouldn't be killing anybody, and you shouldn't be showing their head, like that's just, it doesn't make any sense to me, like how can you have so much information one way, and then just all the other information that kind of goes along with that information just goes out the window, these are choices that we make, that we are making in real time, in front of millions of people on the internet, I'm pretty sure it was premeditated, because like you don't just preserve body parts, if you didn't think you were going to do it before, or like you normally just kill somebody and get rid of the body, but this man kept the head for I don't know how long, it could have been days, as I would think, because I mean you only deal with a dead body, and what comes with that for so long, so days it could have been, we don't know, we just know that this man was severely unstable, and had to get a point across, and this in his mind was the best way to do it, people, we are in the world, living amongst people of this caliber, and when politicians stoke the flames, and they go about these political rants of lies and misinformation, these people are hearing this stuff, and it's radicalizing them even more, to the point where they're willing to kill their own parents, not just random person who you just met off the street, who you disagree with severely, your own parents, the ones that gave you life essentially, you're willing to kill them, and parade their body parts around on the internet, to get a point across that you are the most devout supporter of this nightmare of a human being, so that being said, I just want everybody to understand that fact, and be aware of your surroundings, like you should have been aware, but if this isn't something to look out for, or a key sign that this has gone too far, and just this whole ideology around Trump, and his allure to people is, I don't know, I don't know what else you have to see from this point, like for me, it was not the Capitol riots, not this, his supporters, not him trying to overthrow the election, it was when he was campaigning, my first red flag was when he said that he could shoot somebody in the middle of whatever, what, some odd open public street in the middle of New York and not get caught or prosecuted, that was what it was for me, he literally admitted himself basically saying that he could commit crimes and get away with it, he kind of prophesied what he was going to do, because that's exactly what he's doing right now, he has committed crimes, and he's getting away with it, there's no other way to explain it, like he's got over 30 indictments out, and he still hasn't even served one week of a full piece of time, so I'm just trying to figure out, I'm not even trying to figure out at this point, I'm just really wondering, I'm not even trying to figure out, I can't put the energy into that anymore, but I'm wondering when all of this is going to hit the fan, like when are they going to wake up, when are we going to actually hold somebody accountable for something that they did, but alas, he's got the Republican nomination, and you know, it seems like he's about to win this election, seems, but I digress, Trump is going to be Trump, and we just need to accept the fact that we live in the same world as this fumbling buffoon, that being said, I really hope that people stop listening to him, I'm not saying it will happen, highly doubt it, that being the case, anyway, but I really do hope people just wake up and see his bullshit for what it is, and not what they want it to be, that being said, we're moving to the next topic, and that would be Meg the Stallion and Nicki Minaj, the beef continues, part two, and we've had clapbacks, we've had responses, and the verdict is in, the verdict is in, and basically, people saying that Nicki is bitter, and she's lost the mojo, she's lost her sauce, she does not have it, she released the song Bigfoot in acapella form first last week, and it took over Twitter, it was the talk of the town for a little bit, talk of the town for a little bit, but not necessarily the positive talk of the town, I heard the track myself, and it is Nicki, undeniably, so it is not rap music, I don't think, it's more of her talking, it's more seems to me as a gimmick than anything, it's not an actual diss, Nicki at this point in her career is using her full frontal fame, and that's all she has to give, she doesn't have any sustenance to put towards her music anymore, I don't think, her last album that just came out, Pink Friday 2, was some of the worst work that she's done to date, and then the song Bigfoot is the worst song that she's ever put out to date, I just feel like once you get to a certain point in your fame journey, people are just going to tell you anything that you want to hear if they really like you that much, and then she's riding off of the autopilot of the barbs that just are too devout to deny her, so when it comes to Meg, I just feel bad because Nicki did not pull any punches, she went as hard as she could, she pulled out every single stop, including and not limited to Megan's dead mother, she kept on saying and insinuating different things about Megan's mother that is unfortunately past, and she's no longer with us, and I just feel like there's a line, there's a line that should not be crossed, it should not be crossed, I mean it's just like read the room, Megan's diss was very subtle, but direct, very clean, but cutting as far as the bars go, like they made sense, and they came through, and they did what they needed to do, Nicki's bars are direct, but they're not bars, they're statements, and they're exclamations of things that Megan has been in the news for, or she has allegedly done, and it's just more of a shame factor to me that she was trying to go for than more of a diss, you weren't trying to be intelligent with it all, Nicki was not trying to be intelligent at all, she had nothing to say basically, nothing new to say, I mean it's just basically stuff that we already knew, it was more of a shock and awe factor than, oh you killed that, you killed the bars, you killed Meg, Meg, one flow, one wonder, but the bars hit, and they make sense, and the way her career is going as opposed to Nicki is a brag in itself, Nicki came up over Lil Wayne and Cash Money Records, she did that whole steal, Megan isn't an independent artist at this point, and to this day she just released a post not too long ago, I believe in the last week or week and a half, about how she's moving to a new publishing company, and she's keeping all her masters, and she's keeping all her creativity rights, so Meg is smart, and she's went to law school, she's not law school, but she went to school, I don't know what she wants to be, but I forgot, probably y'all can look it up, I forgot, probably y'all can look it up, but she went to school, this baby is not dumb, all right, she went to school on somebody else's dime too, and it wasn't her own, so when it comes to Meg and Nicki, there are two different people, but one knows how to handle the limelight, and the other one, despite being in the limelight a lot longer, seems to be struggling, I think it's a pride thing with Nicki, the main thing with Nicki is she's too prideful, she's not going to let you take her down a peg at all, but at the same time, I really can't say that she's smarter than Meg, because she just does stuff that's, it's not conducive to, if she wants to be the winner all the time, if she wants to be seen as the winner, why would you marry a pedophile, why would you continue to enable him, and everything he does, and I feel like he's the baddest, the worst thing for her, even though she has a child, he is a bad influence, like I feel like he almost takes the innocence away from her having a child, and he just like kind of makes it about himself, he's not, he's not a money-hungry gold digger type person, I don't think, because I believe from my knowledge, they used to date back in the day, and that was like one of her first boyfriends or whatnot, so I don't think it's about that, I think it's about the long-time connection that they have together, and more about just, she just became who she was, and that's just that they come back to each other, like people come back to each other all the time, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, that's another celebrity couple that's come back into the limelight recently, so it happens, it can happen, but it's just, I don't think he's good for her, it's a lot, it's the dynamic there is not healthy per se, but you know, she's gonna make her own choices, and she's got more money than me, so I mean, I can't really say much, but what I can say is, if she don't pay attention to her career, then it's going to falter off, because Meg already won, she's been one, and she knows that, that's why she has to put out another diss song, because you know, we're one and one, normally we got three songs out by now, but we're one and one, because Meg really doesn't need to say anything else, she's set her piece, Nikki is pandering to her fans, and the people who want to pay attention to her, because she knows she's going to make news, she knows she's going to be the talk of the town, it's not a question of that fact, it's just, she's been in the industry too long not to, and she knows that is a fact of life in this business, so I don't agree with them, I don't agree with the women going back and forth, especially in the industry, when so little is being done for women, and the last thing we need to do is pit them against each other, but the fact that it's happening is just a clear cut sign that we're not ready to be in that space, the music industry is feeding into it just as much as they are, so I mean, we don't want it to go away, we're just in it for the entertainment, it's not good, it's not something that I like, but you know, I'm here for the music, and I'm here for the bars, I'm here for what is good, you know, I don't want dysfunction, I don't want unlikability, it's just, it's messy, it's not the move, so speaking of messy, let's go back, let's go on to our next subject on the docket, millionaire streamer, don't know this man's name, but I saw this video on Twitter, and it just literally, it grossed me out so much, honestly, millionaire streamer is caught on video during his stream with roaches falling from the ceiling and crawling all over him, and his setup, and instead of trying to see where this infestation is befalling him from, he just continues on with the game, and just like flicks them off onto the floor, not kills them, just flicks them onto the floor for them to scurry about the rest of his home. I, watching the video, seeing this, this person, his house has to be at least, at least six bedrooms, just from the size of the master bedroom, and what I've seen around his, the streaming area, he's definitely in the eight figures club, and it's a big house, that just shows you that money doesn't solve all problems, like you still have to clean up after yourself, you still have to, I'm pretty sure with whatever money he has, he didn't hire a maid, he didn't hire a maid, because, or any type of pest control, because the way these roaches were all over him, they was crawling on this man like they was about to win money in a show competition, like they was on this man heavy, like they didn't have any fear at all, like have you ever seen any documentaries about the Galapagos Islands and the animals that are there, they're not even scared of humans, this is how these roaches were acting around this man, and he was basically the same way, he wasn't scared of them, and they weren't scared of him, so it was just an interaction of cohabitation that seemed to be have going on for I don't know how long, but it's just disgusting, like how, how are you living like this, and then on top of that, in the public eye, you're letting people watch you, you might as well become the new Joe Exotic, but for roaches, because you got them all up in your house, and they all over you, so we don't want to see that sir, we don't have time to see that, like if I wanted to go see roaches, I'd go to my auntie's house, back in Jacksonville, Florida, they got plenty of roaches there, palmetto bugs, all the types, wings, non-wings, ants, all of it, all the bugs, all right, so you too rich for all that, go get you some, some pest control, some roach traps, something, one of them goddamn fly sticky strips, I don't care what you get, but you gotta get something, so on to our next subject, and this is gonna be the last subject of the day y'all, because we were running a little late, we got a little, we got a little off track, excited, if you will, but yeah, long episodes are good episodes y'all, so that being said, my former state of Florida, the senate introduces a bill to ban everybody under the age of 16 from using social media, now this is a ban, because you know, they've been coming out with bans for the last two to three years, ever since DeSantis has been in office, they've been banning the shit out of everything, so this is a ban that I kind of, I might, I'm a little, I'm a little biased too, because as some of you know, I do have a child myself now, I mean he's young, he's young, not even at the age where he could even operate a social media device, but the fact that, I got two fronts on this, all right, the fact that I believe social media is problematic to say the least, but it also is a tool, but I believe as any tool, people use it in different ways, and often it might not be ideal, the way to use it, but that's what makes it problematic, so essentially, the problematic the problematic-ness comes from the people using it and not the tool itself, because the way it's utilized is the product of concern when it comes to why they actually enacted this bill to ban social media, so I just feel in that sense, if you're trying to protect the children from seeing information that they would otherwise see anywhere else, or wouldn't otherwise see anywhere else, then okay, that's a stance I can get behind, but in the same breath, you can't be trying to save these kids from, well, essentially themselves when we still have other issues in society that befall them that are much more detrimental than social media. That being said, gun violence is the biggest issue that comes to mind for me, especially when gun violence doesn't even have to be introduced into their lives at the level that you would think, like direct exposure, being in the family, or friends. No, we are having direct exposure being interjected into their classrooms, the places where they come to learn, schools, grocery stores, even public transportation in the last three to five years, so I believe that if you're going to fix one thing, then you need to fix three things at once, because there's not one thing going wrong, it's more of a multitude of things that correlate together to create one big problem, that each of the individual problems feed off each other, so it's like one step forward, two steps back. You can't fix the one step without fixing the two steps before that step, because it'll just collapse on itself. You can't do it. I mean, it's a good effort, but yeah, just how about we focus on the most pressing matter, but we're never going to do that. That's never going to happen, because America loves their guns so much, and I don't know, I just feel like the only time that they're going to actually do something about it is if it threatens their well-being and their livelihood or their way of life. One thing about it today, for sure, they don't like change. They'll deal with it, and they'll tolerate it for whatever benefits they can get from it, but they don't like change, and we wouldn't be where we are today if it hadn't been for blatant and utter resistance towards their agenda and what they were trying to do, because I honestly feel like it would have been worse. It wouldn't have been better. It would have been worse if people hadn't been courageous enough to make a change and stand up and fight for what they believe in and their rights. They're not natural born given rights, because if they were natural born given rights, then we wouldn't have to fight for them, but we fought for them, and they became set in stone. So that being said, it's just the ideology of some of these politicians and the people who run our political space and our lives is completely backwards, and I mean, I just honestly don't think we're going to have the change that we need coming from that sector until they're all gone. They're all dead, deceased, no longer, and that's because as long as they're alive, they're going to push their agenda. I mean, they have the power. They've been, they've served the time, like, that's all there is to it, and they know their time's limited, and if they hadn't, they haven't gotten the chance to brainwash their youth and their predecessors coming after them, then, I mean, their dreams are dead, because this world is changing more and more in opposition to their ideology than it is towards it. So that being said, a lot of things need to change, and it's not going to change until the mindset and the people with the mindset are gone. So that being said, Florida, you got some, you got a thread of something going, but you need to fix some other stuff before you even get in that place. Like, get in that conversation when you have conquered all the other tasks that you need to conquer. Florida is one of the most volatile states in the whole United States, so I think you got a couple more issues that you could be focusing on before social media. Social media can be a detriment for more than it can be a help, especially when it comes to politicians. Nikki Haley can tell you all about that, but that being said, we're gonna move on to our advice column today, and I think that we weren't gonna do it, but I decided that, you know, I decided that, you know, I got a little, got a little bit left in the tank, so, you know, might as well throw a little something in there. But today we have a question from Oxifer, and it states, is it ethical or moral if I just break up with a partner because they want or will have kids? Okay, so this is a good one right here, but aren't they all? A little fucking white person out there, but yes, is it ethical or moral to break up with your partner because they want to have kids? Honestly, just a straight answer there. I believe, yes, if the relationship has been going on for a short period of time, and you've discussed the fact that you do not want kids, and your partner does, I believe, rather than cut it short, then keep on going and disappoint both parties. But if you guys have been going for a long time, say three years or more, and definitely this conversation has come up before, and you guys have discussed it, and maybe you were on board at first, and then you change your mind later down the road, and you just break up with them out of nowhere, then that's kind of fucked up, but, you know, I don't think it's ethical to break up with your partner. Basically, what I'm trying to say is there needs to be more than one conversation about this particular topic, because it's an important topic, and it's important that you guys talk about it in a relationship, because essentially, it's bringing life into the world, and it takes two to tango with that battle. Those who do it by themselves have no other choice, and if they did have a choice, then it was to choose the choice of a better life for said child and not themselves. So, therefore, it's a big decision to make, but if you've gotten to the point where you've already impregnated, or the child is on the way, then, I mean, it's not really in the best interest of the child to leave, but if there's no ability to cohabitate with said partner, then, I mean, the best choice for the child would be to leave, because the dysfunction of said partnership would interfere with the child's life, but not in the most positive way. So, it's a thin line to be walked. There's no right or wrong answer. It's really circumstances have to decide the outcome of that particular circumstance, but if you're walking out before the child is born, I think that would be the best course of action, because, I mean, you didn't make any mistakes yet, so you didn't crack any eggs, so there's no mess to clean up. I mean, you guys had a good run, and the person being that wants to have a child can go find somebody who shares the same sentiment, and the person who doesn't want to have a child can go about their lives and do whatever they need to do to fulfill themselves, because children are in their future. So, it's just, like I said, the circumstances and what is right for each individual person. You guys also want to take into account the person that you're making, so there's more than just two parties involved when kids are involved. So, it's a lot. It's a lot, but, like I said, circumstances matter. So, analyze what's going on, and I would say, out of the feedback that I've just given, make the correct choice from the analytics of what you've analyzed. What you've analyzed in that time. That being said, that has been our advice segment for today, and we're going to wrap it up here, because we are at 58 minutes, and that is a long time to be talking to no one. So, that being said, I think we got our point across this pod, and yeah, Grammy winners, I congratulate you once again for everything, and the well-deserved wins. Also, just the people who are going through seasonal depression, like I said earlier in the pod, perseverance. Keep on trucking as much as you can. I mean, it's not always going to be the way it is, and you just got to understand that, and you just got to push towards what you want it to be, because what you want it to be is possible as long as you put the work in, and no matter how hard it gets, you always have the ability to be in control of your own situation, as long as you are controlling it, and not letting other people control it. So, that being said, put yourself in the right position, and all shall be well. Push forward, and persevere.
