The hosts wanted to name their podcast "Your Friendly Neighbourhood Feminist" but decided against it due to the negative connotations associated with feminism. They discuss their shared love for books, feminism, and their frustrations with sexism. The podcast, called "Coffee Plus This Sprin," aims to provoke and challenge listeners every other Monday. We were going to call this podcast, Your Friendly Neighbourhood Feminist, but we did not. Actually, we couldn't. Because the words feminist and feminism come with a heavy burden attached. And people did not shy in telling us that. Listening to everyone's opinions gave us a headache, for which we had to take a coffee plus this sprin. Welcome to our podcast, Coffee Plus This Sprin.
