What is your Scriptural Identity in Yahoshua the Messiah -3

The ministry Let Us Reason Together aims to return to the roots of Christianity and focus on the redemption of Jacob and the regathering of the two houses of Israel. It is important to understand the beliefs of the apostles and the sect of the Nazarenes, as well as the significance of the fathers in the covenant. The fathers mentioned are Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who were of Chaldean and Syrian descent. The nationalities of the fathers, their wives, and children were pagan and heathen. It is crucial to acknowledge this background and confess it at the festival of first fruits. The scriptures should not be altered or changed, as it is warned against in both the Old and New Testaments. Through Isaac, the biblical seed is established, and from Jacob, the 12 tribes of Israel are descended. Abraham is referred to as a Hebrew because he crossed over the Jordan River into the land of Yahweh. Similarly, anyone who honors and is obedient to Yahwe Good evening, and welcome. My name is Boaz Newhoff, and Let Us Reason Together is a ministry to return us to our roots. We are looking for the redemption of Jacob and the regathering of the two houses of Israel at the end of this age. Good evening and welcome. Well, last week we discussed what did the apostles believe and to which group did they belong. And we clearly established from the comments of the church fathers that the apostle Paul and John and James and so on were members of the sect of the Nazarenes. And those Nazarenes existed well into the 4th century and then were annihilated, if you like, by Constantine the Great, the founder of institutionalized Christianity. We have also spoken about the fathers and in this program we are going to examine who those fathers are because with the fathers the covenant has been made. And as we saw from Isaiah 56 that Yahweh states that all those who uphold and honor His covenant it is them that He is going to take to His holy hill. So then the opposite would be true. If you do not honor His covenant then He is not going to take you to His holy hill. And ultimately all believers want to meet Yahweh and Yeshua because that is their goal. So then this particular teaching has to be very important if you take Isaiah 56 seriously. No, we are not going to bring you into orthodox Judaism. No, we are not going to bring you under any system of man-made rules and regulations. We only want to examine what our identity is according to the scriptures. Keep your emails coming in. I will make a selection of them and discuss your questions in a further program. Now sit back and relax and we are going to deal with the promises to the fathers. And these promises were made 2000 B.C.E. or in other words 2000 B.C.E. before the Christian era. So we are talking quite a little while ago. Now who are these fathers? Are they Ignatius or are they Clement of Rome or John Calvin or Martin Luther? No, they cannot be because they did not exist 4000 odd years ago. But they indeed are the fathers as mentioned before Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Now the identities of these fathers is extremely important. So the question we have to ask is who was Abram? Well Abram according to Genesis 11 verse 31 came from Ur of the Geldes. So Abram and Sarai his wife were Chaldeans. And Ur was the place where they lived which was in Iraq or what we currently call Iraq. So in today's terminology we would say that Abram and Sarai were Iraqis. Because they came from Chaldean and a place called Ur. So if we then take Abraham's descendant which is Isaac. Then Isaac was of a Chaldean father and mother. So in other words he was of Iraqi stock. At the moment there is not an Israeli or an Ephraimite or a Jew in sight. We only have Chaldeans. Now Isaac's wife Rebecca it says of her that she was the sister of Laban the Syrian. Oh that gets really interesting. We read in Genesis 25 verse 20 and Isaac was 40 years old when he took Rebecca to wife the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padam Aram and the sister of Laban the Syrian. So here we have Iraqis marrying Syrians. Then of course Isaac had a son and his son was Jacob. Jacob was therefore born out of an Iraqi father and a Syrian mother. In Genesis 28 verse 2 we read Arise go to Padam Aram to the house of Bethuel your mother's father and take a wife from the daughters of Laban your mother's brother. And we know Laban to be a Syrian. So Jacob's wives were Syrian. So therefore if we summarize these nationalities we have Abraham and Sarai being Chaldean Iraqis. Isaac Abraham's son was a Chaldean Iraqi. Rebecca his wife was a Syrian. And Jacob their son therefore was from Iraqi Chaldean stock. And he got himself two wives initially Rachel and Leah. And they were both Syrians. So their children, the children of Jacob and his wives Rachel and Leah were therefore of Chaldean Iraqi stock. The twelve sons of Jacob originally came out of Chaldean Iraqi stock. Well if you go and tell this in certain orthodox synagogues these people's spine will start to shiver. Particularly if you tell them that Rachel the mother of or some of the children of Jacob was a Syrian. Because it would be verbally told you that she was Jewish. Well I am sorry to say originally she was Syrian. Now it is important to understand then that the nationalities of the fathers their wives and their children were absolutely pagan. This has to be confessed at the festival of first fruits. Which is one of the biblical festivals of Leviticus chapter 23. And we read this in Deuteronomy 26 verse 5. And all believers in Yahweh must confess this for very good reasons at the festival of first fruits when the first fruits were delivered to the house of Yahweh. This is the declaration. And thou shalt speak and say before Yahweh your Elohim. In other words this is a commandment of the Torah. It is not optional. It is a commandment of the Torah that at the festival of first fruits you make this declaration. Thou shalt speak and say before Yahweh your Elohim a wandering Aramean or a wandering Syrian was my father and he went down into Egypt and sojourned there few in number and he became there a nation great mighty and populous. Deuteronomy 26 verse 5 Confirming that the great father Jacob who went into Egypt was an Aramean or a Syrian. This is to remind all of us that our background is pagan and heathen. If you go to the scriptures of Judah or the Jews particularly to the stones Tanakh and you look up Deuteronomy 26 verse 5 you see that they have changed it. They have changed it to say that their father was chased by an Aramean or a Syrian. As though they do not want to acknowledge the Gentile background of father Jacob. But, I am sorry, changing the scriptures is absolutely out and the warnings to add and subtract to the scriptures is absolutely clear not only in the Old but also in the New Testament. Normally I don't use this terminology Old and New Testament because there is no such thing. But for clarity for those who are not used to covenant and covenant renewed I want to make sure that we are clear. Even in the last book of the renewed covenant or the New Testament it is made clear that anybody who adds or subtracts let alone change the word of Yahweh will be written out of the book of life. This is serious stuff. You cannot just Christianity and Orthodox Judaism both have done change and alter the word of Yahweh. As far as that is concerned they are mirror images of each other and therefore be warned that the scriptures that you read are indeed not the originals as given by Abba Yahweh to the original scripture writers. A wandering Aramean or a wandering Syrian was your father and he went down into Egypt, sojourned there, few in number, 70 odd and he became there a nation, great, mighty and populous. That was our father Jacob. Now let's look at Abraham's and Abraham's wives. Abraham's wife was Sarai. Then Sarai gave him Hagar as a concubine. And after the death of Sarai, Abraham, which is not known to many married another woman called Kathura. And if we look at the descendants of Sarai. Sarai bared Isaac. Isaac begot Esau and Jacob. And out of Jacob we have the 12 sons which later on became the 12 tribes of Israel. And out of Hagar, we know Hagar's descendant was Ishmael. And out of Ishmael we have the 12 sons or the 12 princes as they are called in scripture, or the Arab nations. Out of Abraham's wife Kathura, their sons Zimran and Jokshan Ispak and Shuan came what is called Shiba and Dedan, Saudi Arabia and Ispak and Shuach Midian or the Bedouins. So we have 3 wives of Abraham and 3 distinct peoples that came out of these unions. But the scripture makes it clear in Romans 9 verse 7 The apostle Paul here is quoting the Tanakh or the Old Testament that through Isaac will the biblical seed be called. So not through the children of Hagar or Ishmael nor through the children of Kathura but only the seed of the son of Abraham called Isaac through Isaac, not through Ishmael shall the seed be established. And that seed goes from Isaac to his son Jacob not Esau, but his son Jacob And out of Jacob the 12 sons or the 12 tribes are established. And we read a very interesting analogy which we will not deal with this morning about these wives of Abraham, about Sarah and Hagar in Galatians 4 verse 21 to 31 which normally in traditional Christianity is totally misinterpreted. However we are going to leave that for another day. Now what do we read about Abraham in Genesis 14 verse 13? Remember that Abraham was originally an Iraqi from Chaldean descent but in Genesis 14 verse 13 we read about Abraham the Hebrew So here is the first time that we see the name Hebrew Hebrew or the name Ivri It is the Strong's word 5680 and it is defined as being from beyond. Now what does that mean? Well, Abraham was from beyond the river Jordan the river Jordan that goes right through Israel Abraham came from Ur of the Galdes which is beyond the river Jordan So a Hebrew person is somebody who is from beyond but crosses over the Jordan River into the land of Yahweh that Abraham was shown to be the land of the covenant that Yahweh is going to make with him. So if you have crossed over, for example from darkness into the light of Yahweh then you are a Hebrew. So you are a Hebrew by the action that you take. You are not a Hebrew by birth. Abraham was not a Hebrew by birth. Abraham was an Iraqi and his descendants were Iraqi Syrian. But by their actions they became Hebrews because they were obedient to the word of Yahweh which said Abraham get out of Ur of the Galdes and go to a land which I will show you and that land is beyond the river Jordan. Therefore if you honor Yahweh and you are obedient to him and you cross over then you become a Hebrew. Have you crossed over from the darkness of this world into the light of Yahweh and are you following him then you are like Abraham a Hebrew because you are somebody from beyond. So this is one identity we have established. You are an Hebrew from beyond because you have crossed over from darkness into Yahweh and Yeshua's marvelous light. Isn't that fantastic? Isn't that something to just think about whilst I go and play you a wonderful song about Zion. O Jerusalem, Jerusalem Hear Yeshua cry How I long to gather you to me O Jerusalem, Jerusalem Messiah wept for you So she will not leave you too For Zion's sake I will not keep silent For Zion's sake I will not hold my peace For Zion's sake For Yerushalayim I will not rest I will not rest I said watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem They shall never hold their peace Day or night All you who call upon the Lord Call upon the Lord For Zion's sake For Zion's sake I said watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem They shall never hold their peace Day or night All you who call upon the Lord Take no rest Give Him no rest Till He makes Jerusalem A praise in the earth A praise in the earth I will not keep silent For Zion's sake I will not hold my peace For Zion's sake For Yerushalayim I will not rest I will does it not say In the book of Galatians In Galatians 3 verse 29 That if you are in Messiah Then you are Abraham's seed And Abraham originally Like all of us originally Are of Gentile background Our background is totally Gentile But in Messiah He says you are Abraham's seed And this word seed Is the Hebrew word zera Z E R A Zera And in Greek The word is sperma Zera and sperma It is physical seed Not just spiritual seed But physical seed You can't get any more physical than sperma Often people are told Yes, yes, you are seed of Abraham But it is only spiritual seed Well, Isaac is seed of Abraham And he is both physical and spiritual And I am sure that if I was sitting with you In the same house I would be able to touch you So you would also be physical and spiritual You are not just only spiritual seed of Abraham No, you are also physical seed Offspring Zera or sperma Or physical seed of Abraham Now we read I will make your offspring Like the dust of the earth So this offspring of Abraham Has to become like dust of the earth So that if anyone could count the dust Then your offspring Abraham Could be counted Now if you want to have a go at this And go and count all the dust particles On this earth And later you will see that Yahweh tells Abraham That his offspring will become As numerable as the sand on the seashore Well, then you got quite a job ahead of you And as we would all agree You will not be able to count it So Abraham has to bring forth Seed that is uncountable Now this you have to really register in your brain Register in your brain That the physical seed of Abraham Must be as great as dust particles All over the world As the sand of the sea On all the seashores And later on he says As the stars of heaven An uncountable seed This is very important If you are in Messiah Then you are Abraham's seed And you are heirs to the promises Galatians 3 Verse 29 Now in Deuteronomy Chapter 1 verse 10 It states And I spoke to you at that time Saying I am not able to bear the burden Of you alone Yahweh your Elohim has multiplied you And behold you are this day As the stars of heaven For a multitude May Yahweh the Elohim of your fathers Increase you a thousand fold More than you are And bless you Just as he has promised Now this is said To Israel when it came out of Egypt So we have to do a little bit of statistics Because That number must be multiplied by a thousand According to Deuteronomy 1 verse 10 So let's see what we get If you look at the census of Israel In Numbers 26 verse 51 And you add up all the tribes From Reuben down to Naphtali As they are mentioned You come to 601,730 Which of course Does not include Levi So if we take That number of descendants That came out of Egypt And we take the number that The Rabbis say In total that came out Then you come to about 3 million Because it says that a majority Did not come out So from the census we establish That the house of Israel Had a number of 425,180,000 425,180,000 Or nearly half a billion And from the house of Judah 122,100,000 Or about an eighth of a billion Now if you just take That the Rabbis When Israel came out of Egypt Said that about 3 million came out 3 million Because they said that the majority Stayed in Egypt So let's say that This figure of 3 million Would be relatively accurate Now we see from the scriptures That in Genesis 28 Verse 14 and 15 it says Your offspring shall also be like the dust of the earth And you shall spread out to the west And to the east And to the north And to the south And by you and your offspring Shall all the families of the earth become blessed And behold I am with you And will keep you wherever you go And I will bring you back to the land So here we are clearly told That this offspring which is innumerable Will be spread out It will be dispersed from the land Which they will originally inherit But it will be dispersed from there And this already prophesied in Genesis 28 All over the world East, west, north and south But whilst you are dispersed all over the earth I will be with you And a promise That I will bring you back to the land Now this seed of Jacob Which is talked about here Of which the rabbis say 3 million came out of Egypt So if we take 3 million Multiply it by a thousand Deuteronomy 1 verse 10 Then what we have We have 3 billion Which is half The current world's Present population Now I am not making these figures up I am going by Historical sentences Historical predictions Very conservatively by the rabbis And using Yahweh's word To multiply this by a thousand So the descendants of Abraham Must be a minimum of 3 billion Or half the world's population Now don't you think that it is absolutely Interesting that If at this time You believe in the God of the Bible In the Elohim of the Bible That you believe in Yahweh And that you believe in Yeshua And all of us Do not have our faith 100% right Let's be absolutely clear about that I certainly do not have all the answers And every day anew I learn new things So don't be worried If you have had your Identity a little screwed up Because mine was also Totally screwed up And I only started to get this right About 10-15 years ago And I am starting to learn New things every day But if you have this faith In the scriptures of Yahweh And you look forward to His Messiah To come and bring salvation That you must be a descendant Of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob That you could in fact be One of the descendants Of the 12 sons of Jacob But if you feel, no no I believe to the other 50% Of the world population Who do not descend From Abraham, Isaac and Jacob But I have adopted The Elohim of Israel Then you will also see Very clearly Through the scriptures What your identity is 3 billion Half the world's population Now that's what you call Sand of the seas Or as great as the stars of heaven Or as the dust of the earth Now some say, no no no All the descendants of Abraham are the Jews Well, all Jews We can count Because Jews Are descendants from Judah And Judah was only One son of Jacob There is something very important That you have to remember And that is That all Jews are Israelites But not all Israelites Are Jews Because the Jewish people Are descendants from The son of Jacob Called Judah And the other sons Were not Jews But they were Israelites Because they were descendants from Jacob And later Jacob's name was changed To Israel Well, are you totally confused now? Yes, I am sure you are Because I was too So Jacob Son of Isaac Son of Abraham He had a number of wives And a number of concubines And they gave him 12 sons They are referred to As the 12 sons of Jacob But Jacob wrestled With the messenger of Yahweh By the river Jabbok And we will come to that And there his name was changed to Israel So Jacob was not born Israel But Jacob became Israel It is very important Also put this next to Abraham the Hebrew Jacob the Israel Israel Jacob who became Israel He was not Israel But he became Israel Abraham was not a Hebrew But he became a Hebrew So you become a Hebrew And you become Israel You were not born Israel You see? So therefore we have the 12 sons of Israel Because Jacob's name was changed And one of these sons of Israel Judah Son of Israel And his descendants Are the Jewish people But we also have Reuben And Levi And Don and Naphtali And Benjamin and Joseph Amongst others And they are Israelites They are not Jewish They are not Jews So we have Judah Son of Israel And we have Reuben, Levi Don, Naphtali, Benjamin Sons Of Israel And these are later on Referred to as the two Houses of Israel Or the house of Judah And the house Of Israel We are going to go into this But people say no no no no It's all too confusing We just only have the Jews That's incorrect Absolutely incorrect Because the Jews Currently we can count Let's for example That we have 15 million Jews in Israel We know that we don't have them But let's for argument sake say That there were 15 million Jewish people in Israel And that there were 15 million Jewish people in Europe We know that they are not But for argument sake 15 million in Europe 15 million in North America say And another 15 million in places We haven't thought of That's only 60 million And we have been very generous You see the seed of Abraham Is uncountable The seed of Judah We can count But the seed Of Abraham That later on Was dispersed Amongst the nations North, South, East and West As already prophesied To father Jacob They are Un or unnumberable We cannot number them This is something Which you really have to Get to grasp with But I am going to go through it with you In detail Now, Josephus He was a Jewish person Who was a historian He for example States that The ten tribes are beyond The Euphrates river Till now and are An immense multitude Not to be estimated In numbers This is Josephus Who writes this in Antiquities of the Jews This is an historian So Why does he say ten tribes? Well he says ten tribes Because we will find out later That the house of Jacob Was divided Into two houses The house of Judah Two tribes, Judah and Benjamin And ten tribes, the others Reuben, Don, Naphtali, Joseph Etc Here Josephus, the historian Says that the ten tribes were beyond The Euphrates river He says an immense number or multitude That cannot be estimated And they are still there Contrary To some of the tribe Of Judah saying no, no, no They have already been Regathered Well friends, this is impossible Because it is Moshiach's task As we have seen In Genesis or in Isaiah 49 That he must go and Re-gather this multitude And he says to his apostles You must go amongst the nations And find these chaps And bring them back To Yahweh via the Torah They cannot all have come back Under Ezra or Nehemiah Because it is the Messiah's task We are going to go into All this a bit deeper There is another historian Called George Rawlinson And George Rawlinson In his book History of Herodotus Book 7, page 378 He writes We have reasonable grounds For regarding The Jimmery and Shimmerians Who first appeared On the confines Of Assyria and Median In the 7th century B.C. And the Sakai Of the Behistun Rock nearly Two centuries later As identical With the Bath Qumri Of Samaria Or the Pentribes of the House Of Israel These are Specific rocks that were found With inscriptions Which are related back To these ten tribes I have pictures of those but Unfortunately I can't show this to you You know why? Because in Genesis 13, 16 It says I will make your offspring Abraham like the dust of the earth So that if anyone could count The dusk Or the dust, sorry Then your offspring could be counted Now also Abraham was promised a descendant And in that descendant He says All the nations of the world Will be blessed All the nations Of the world because The promise is made That out of the descendants Of Abraham, Isaac And Jacob would come Many nations Not just one nation The Jews, no Many nations would come forth Out of the descendants of Abraham Isaac And Jacob And Jacob received a divine promise In Genesis 28 Verse 10 Jacob was fleeing from his brother Esau After receiving the blessing As the firstborn From his father Isaac I am sure the account is familiar to you Then it says Jacob departed from Beersheba And went Towards Haram And he came to a certain place And spent the night there Because the sun had set And he took one of the Stones of the place And put it under his head And lay down in that place And he had a dream And behold a ladder was set on the earth Where its top reached The heavens And Yahweh stood above and said I am Yahweh your Elohim Of your father Abraham and the Elohim of Isaac And the land On which you lie And please note that this is a physical land Not a Spiritual land I will give it to you and to your descendants So the descendants Of Jacob must Inherit a land On which their father Jacob Was lying Jacob shall be as the dust of the earth And you shall spread out To the east and to the west And to the north and to the south And in you and in your descendants Shall all the families Of the earth Be grafted or blessed In this descendant Shall all the families Of the earth be grafted Or blessed And a nation blessed Are also a nation grafted According to the rabbis Blessed is the Hebrew root For the word Navrehu Which means a graft Lehavreh Which means to graft And we read about grafting In the Babylonian Talmud I am not going to give you too many of these references But I am going to give you Some of the history And we see for example That Ruth And Moabitess was grafted And Nahama The Ammonitess Was also grafted Both of them belonged To an adulterous people But were grafted Onto the stock Of Israel Ruth and Nahama A Moabitess And an Ammonitess Grafted on the stock Of Israel Two prophetic graftings One grafting of Judah Ruth The Moabitess And then we see Nahama A graft Or a seed in the line of Judah Producing A line of Jewish kings But Originally these ladies Were Gentiles Are you starting to see a picture emerging here? You cross over You become a Hebrew Your name is changed from Jacob to Israel Here we have Gentile women Who are going to produce Prophets And kings In the Jewish line As prophesied Grafting of Israel Elohim was promising To engraft back Into the Ruth Those who were cast off from Israel You see this because this is exactly What the apostle Paul is teaching about In the book of Romans In chapters 9, 10 And 11 in particular And he uses An olive tree as his Imagery Israel going to be grafted Back into The tree Excuse me So we have Abraham, Isaac and Jacob And out of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob We get Later on the northern 10 tribes The descendants of the cast Of rejected sons Of Israel Who are going to be engrafted Back into the Ruth And remember that we are a ministry That wants to show you your Ruth A ministry That wants to reason with you Together And out of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob We have Judah And Benjamin Who have descendants of Ruth and Nahama Grafted Into the line Of Judah So the whole concept Is a grafting And the apostle Paul tells us That we are all Adopted sons Of Yahweh Because all of our Ancestry is Gentile Remember this divine promise You shall spread out To the four corners of the earth But I Yahweh will bring you back To this land Genesis 28 Verse 13 and 14 You will disperse To the west The east, the north And the south But I will gather you again From the west, the east, the north And the south And in Joel And in Amos We read about this word parats Where he says I'm going to close the breaches Thereof and this word breaches Says I'm going to end this dispersion And I'm going to bring you back That's why the disciples Were sent into The diaspora To find the dispersed Out of The two houses of Israel But he says I will bring you back You know why? Judges 2 verse 1 I will never break My covenant with you Yahweh Is bound by covenant To return These dispersed From the nations And amongst these dispersed will be People from the tribe of Judah Or people from the House of Judah And we will also have people From the dispersed Of the house of Israel You know why?
