the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who, you are now the who This is a make or break point, honestly, because you literally have to make a decision to keep a roof over your head, obviously, or, you know, end up potentially homeless or living in an environment you don't want to live in, etc, etc. So now you have to make a choice if it's like, well, you know, I'm going to, you know, continue this lifestyle that I've made for myself, keyword that I have made for myself. Or you know what, what I believe in is worth more than this lifestyle that I've created, and I want to go after it. And I can lose it all going after it. Then I'm willing to do that. I'm going to be honest. Not, yo man, not many people choose to get off that lifestyle horse. You see what I mean? And when it comes down to hard times, I honestly believe that hard times are checkpoints to see if what we're really after is worth, is worth it. And, like I said, before you get the foreclosure notice, you know, you need to pay. So that's where it comes down to, like, it's a hard, it could be defined as a hard time or not. And that's just real at the end of the day. Because you could really seriously look at that situation and say, you know what, I don't want to do this no more. I don't want to live this lifestyle because I'm not feeling free. But I've got kids. I built a family. What do I do, how do I chase my dream? Now I'm going to be honest with you, I don't have the answer for that because every situation is different. Not going to lie, I don't have the answer. And, like, I have the answer. However, what I will say is, what you, how you define that situation, though, is what that situation's going to be. There's no other way around it. You can either define that situation as a hard time and allow that hard time to humble you and put you back on that lifestyle horse. Or you could define that life, that choice, or you could define that situation however you, how you truly feel you want to define it and go on about your life and take everything that comes with it. But it may mean losing the house. It may mean relocating your family and getting on welfare and doing what you may, what, you know, it may take for you to do to make sure that you guys at least have the basic needs. Now, to some, it's like, why in the hell would I do that? If that's the, if that's the question that you are asking, you're not, you, it's not, it's not, it's not, this, this podcast for sure, this, this isn't for you. 100%. I'm not the person you're going to want to continue to listen to. I'll tell you that right now. You see what I mean? But if you're interested into knowing why you would want to even think about doing something like that, well, that's simple. It's because you're, you're going to define what your bad time is. And that's solely up to you. Because the bad time doesn't necessarily have to, because the bad time isn't when you get the foreclosed notice. The bad time is when you're at that fork in the road, when you're like, dude, I don't even want to really live this way no more. Before the late payment. That's the bad time. And I think, man, I just think that sometimes, you know, well, I mean, well, it's not that I think, I know that, you know, there are a large majority of individuals that really want to live their, their, their true life. Like you got people who literally, legitimately just want to just live off the grid, but they won't take that step. Now I'll put it like this. Do you have the patience to endure to the end? And what I mean by that is, do you have the patience to take that step and endure everything that's about to come with it? So here's what I'm saying. You have individuals. Who will be at work. And this idea, this magnificent idea will hit them out of nowhere. It'll be like, dude, yeah, I should do that. Right? And let's say. They go home. They tell their wife or they tell whoever, they tell the cat, they tell the dog, if they don't have a wife, tell the kids, whatever. They're happy, they're excited about it. Let's say they get started. Let's say they get started on that thing. And then when everything's going good with that thing, reality hits. And what I mean by reality hitting is the fact that you're starting to realize that this thing costs money to do. You're starting to realize like, yo, in order for me to do this, I got to pick up a new skill. Or I got to spend this much on marketing. Or I need to hire somebody who knows this. Or I need to hire somebody who knows this. You start to realize the reality of the decision that you've made. You see what I'm saying? However, never let a hard time humble you. Because the hard times, if you ask me, the hard times are actually before the hard times come. So, if the hard times actually come before the hard time actually hits, then that means we define the hard time. Because before the hard time actually manifests, there has to be a seed of hard time planted somewhere. Right? Like, things don't just pop out of nowhere. To me, if you ask me, that's bullshit when people are like, oh, it just came out of nowhere. No, it didn't. It came from somewhere. The reason you're going through what you're going through right now came from somewhere. You did something. There's something you did that caused this outcome. There is no free ride. You see what I mean? There is no free ride. There is seed, time, and harvest. There is no free fucking ride. So, the hard times, I believe, humble individuals who don't realize that they actually have the power to define that hard time. Because when you define the hard time, it doesn't have to be a hard time. It just is what it is for the moment. Like I was talking about a person who gets a foreclosure notice. And they're like, well, you know what? Before the foreclosure notice, they've already made it. I'll speak from the perspective of the person that was like, you know what? I'm going after my dream. I don't care if we lose this house, if a family has to go on welfare, or whatever the case may be. But I'm going after what I want to go after. Regardless. However long it takes, I'm going. And that's where it comes in. Do you have the patience to endure to the end? And to be honest with you, majority of people don't. They just don't. Majority of people have such an instant gratification mindset that it is amazing. That's astonishing. That people literally wake up, look at their Instagram, look at their Twitter, and look at whatever social media platform they're on. And if you're a content creator, the first thing they're looking at is their numbers. First thing. Oh, it's not in the hundreds. I've done a hundred of these. I know I have a hundred of this. It's not in the thousands. Look at them over there. They're doing this. This is how they should do it. Not this is how they should do it, but this is how they're doing it. My numbers should be doing this. Oh my God, my content's better. And blah, blah, blah. Whatever the case may be, right? But this is a universal principle that I'm speaking of. I'm just using these as examples. Right? And then people quit. Then they go on to something else. And then they quit that. You see what I mean? Listen, there is a difference from a business that collapses versus an individual that quits. Real talk. I happen to be an individual that had my business, my very first actual business, business collapse. Actually, I've had two, maybe three, maybe four. Now I get to think about it. I had like four or five businesses collapse. I won't say four or five businesses that collapse. I will say that I've had two actual businesses that went under and four or five ideas after that that I kind of dabbled with and then would realize that's not what I want to do. But that's a lot of time. That's a lot of time. That I've put into those things. Because anything that I do and anything that I touch, I'm not just going to half-ass do it. I'm actually going to do that shit. I'm going to do the research on it. This is why I don't do everything. I'll put it like this. This is why I don't do everything that I love. This is why I don't do everything that I have a passion for. And I will be honest with you, I don't have a passion for podcasting. I don't. This isn't a passion of mine. This isn't something that I was like, yeah, I'm going to do this. No, I'm literally doing these podcasts because I literally woke up saying, I'm down. I'm going to share this dream that I'm going to paint this picture for you. I had this dream. I had this dream. And in this dream, there was me and I could feel like it was two other people. But I remember seeing one other person. I remember seeing a navy, dark bluish BMW and then the SUV that we got in. It was kind of like a greenish color. And I know in the SUV there was a driver and a passenger, myself, and then the other guy. And someone was speaking. And on the way from where we were walking, we were walking to the car. So on the way walking from this specific area, I just remember the guy saying, I wish that they would have known who they were before this situation hit. And then me and that same guy got into the back seats. There were a driver, passenger, the guy and myself. And in the SUV, I just heard a voice say, hey, why don't we start a podcast? And literally, I woke up saying, I'm down. And the next day, I just was like, okay. Or was it the next day? I think it was like the next day or maybe the next two days after that. I was like, all right, I'm going to try it. So I'll be honest with you. I don't have, this isn't like some deep passion of mine. This isn't something that, honestly, I love. I don't even think I love doing. But one thing I do know that I do like to do, and that I do love to do, is sharing helpful information and valuable, helpful information. So I'm not going to share with you things that I don't believe in. I'm not going to share with you things that I don't have a passion for. I may have a passion for those things, and I may believe in those things, but I'm going to be honest with you. I don't have a passion for this podcasting. I just don't. But I believe in the ability and my skill that I have to produce it and to produce a high value of content with the bare minimums. Honestly, I'm starting this thing. I don't really have, I honestly don't have much. I just have my phone in this laptop that I'm speaking in. Literally. I don't even have a mic yet. That's how raw this is right now for me. But you know what? I didn't let it stop me. I didn't say, well, you know, I don't have, because trust me, I'm reading podcast things. I'm joining Reddit groups. I'm doing the research that's needed to be done to be successful, for sure. And I hear a lot of other podcasters are like, oh, well, you need to start with this and you need to start with that. I don't believe that. I mean, because at the end of the day, me personally, I'm just like, man, my audience is going to gravitate to it, regardless if I have the nicest mic or not. Right? Like if I have the greatest sound quality or not. Once people hear my voice and they hear, and they give me a shot, I believe that it's going to grab who it's going to grab. It's going to be who it's going to be for, regardless if I have all this stuff or not. However, the information that I gave is going to be what I believe, and it's going to be from my own personal passions, and it's going to be me. And it's going to be me. That's why I named the podcast The Cyrus, because it is me. It is Cyrus. And I'm a very high valued man. I'm not going to give you anything of low value, regardless if someone will be like, well, you're not starting with the most high valuable stuff. You missed the point. 100%. I'm not going to let a hard time humble me. That's just facts. I'm going to dictate to the times what the times are. I dictate whether it's a hard time or not. No one does that for me. No matter how many other podcasters I listen to, you know, books I read that say you need to do it this way Now, some of that stuff is for sure the truth, right? Especially when it comes to marketing. I'm listening more to what it takes to market more than, you know, what it takes to actually produce an episode, right? I don't believe I need all the top quality stuff right now. It will come if I'm going to be honest, if I continue to produce podcast shows, it will come. I don't have to, you know, run out and do anything. I have what I need to get started, and I'm going to get started with what I have. That's just as simple as that. And I just encourage you to do the same. You see what I mean? Because sometimes I believe, you know, we allow hard times to humble us because we look at it from the perspective of, oh, I don't have. Yes, you do. You have it. You have everything you need to start. If you want to start an auto detailing business right now, you can go out right now and go get your house vacuum. And I know this might sound ridiculous to somebody, but who cares? You can go get your house vacuum right now. Some freaking soap from the dollar store. And some towels from your closet. And you can go out right now and start detailing cars. Get you a couple little brushes and go to town. It may take you a little longer to detail it, but hey, at least you're getting started. You see what I mean? At least you're getting started. You're not allowing your situation to dictate to you what you do and how you do it. You're dictating to your situation what you do and how you do it. That's the beautiful thing to me. And that's why I love the line that says, never let a hard time humble you. Because if you ask me what that line means, that's exactly what it means to me, what I just said. I dictate the situation. The situation doesn't dictate to me. I don't give a fuck how it looks. I don't give a fuck what it looks like. I'm in control. That shit ain't in control. Facts. It's easy for it to look like it's in control because it's like, well damn, I don't have enough money to pay this bill. Right? Now I'm not saying don't pay your bills, but what I am saying is, if you're after something, if it's something that you really truly want, mind you, this podcast is only for a certain group of people. This podcast isn't for everyone. That's just facts. Because if you're just out trying to find things to, you know, make excuses for why you're not doing what you're doing and this for sure isn't the podcast for you because that's bullshit. I don't do excuses. We define our situations over here. We are gods and goddesses. We walk in supreme highness. We don't make excuses for shit. We handle business as business needs to be handled. You see what I mean? And that's just how it is. You know, never let a hard time humble you regardless of the situation because you have the power. And that's just how it is. You have the power. And I just believe a major part of society just doesn't, you know, believe that they have that power. You know, they believe that the bill has more power over them. I won't even say the bill, but the lifestyle has more power. And that's sad because you got people out here that won't change, my bad, not change, I didn't want to use the word change, but won't go after what they really want in their life because of the lifestyle that they have built or the lifestyle that they believe that they should have. And rightfully so. Everyone should believe that they deserve a certain lifestyle. However, in order to get to that certain lifestyle, you may have to do things that is outside of your comfort, which I'm pretty sure you know we hear all the time. You have to do things that are outside of your comfort. You have to change in order to become that. Because if you're doing what you're doing right now at this very moment and you don't have what you really truly have, then that means there's shit you need to change. If you don't change that shit, you will never have it. Simple as that. That shit is hella simple. It's 1 plus 1. That shit's always gonna be 2. It's 2 plus 2. That shit's always gonna be 4. 4 plus 4 is always gonna be fucking 8. And that's just how it is. No one's changing that shit. Not me, you, or no one else. So that's just how it is, man. You know, never let a hard time humble you. I don't give a fuck what it is. It's hard. Change your perspective on it. You know what I'm saying? Now, does that mean it's gonna go away? Probably fucking not. But at the end of the day, at least your perspective on it is gonna bring you peace. The perspective is what brings peace. Not... The perspective is what brings you peace. Right? Often we're looking for a solution to the problems when a lot of the times the fucking solution to the problem is the perspective of the problem. See what I mean? Some people are like, oh, well, you know, Tylenol is, you know, the answer to, you know, the problem of a fucking headache. However, there are all kinds of plants and shit in nature that can legit cure headaches. Now you don't have to worry about a fucking Tylenol. But since Tylenol is so convenient, we go get Tylenol. Versus doing the research on what plant cures fucking headaches. See what I'm saying? So it's up to you. You decide which WorldWorks route you want to take. You see what I'm saying? You decide that shit. You decide what colleges you want to go to, what cars you want to drive, you know what I'm saying, what doctor you want to see, you decide what your religion is, you decide that shit. See what I'm saying? And if you're just living some passed down shit then, and complaining about it, that doesn't even make sense. That's just 100%. So, over here, we never let a hard time humble us for nothing in the world. You know what I'm saying? And real quick, I do want to give a shout out to Quail615. I think he's out of Tennessee, the skateboarder. I think his name is Mike Quail. I think I'm saying that right. But that dude go hard as hell. Check him out. I saw his Instagram. He go hard as fuck. It's Quail615 on Instagram. Check him out. He's hard. He's a dope boarder, bro. His street style is amazing, bro. Seriously. Like I said, dope. You know what I'm saying? Like the great Homie Knit said, never let a hard time humble us. You know what I'm saying? That shit is so ill, man. That shit is mad real. Go after it, man. Whatever it is that you want in this life, go after it. Take the bumps. Take the bruises. It's going to be alright at the end of the day. You feel what I'm saying? If you died going after what you truly want in life, man, you lived a life, bro. You lived. You can honestly say you lived. If you live your life how you want to live your life and you died in the process of that shit, you can honestly say you lived. You can honestly say, yo, I fucking lived my life. I lived with nobody's rules. I lived doing the fuck I wanted to do and I didn't care what nobody else had to say. I went after what I wanted to go after. But fuck it, I died in the process. But oh well, I lived. That shit, that shit doubled in a lot of things. You know what I'm saying? Let me think about it. Think how many people are fucking miserable going to their jobs and shit. You know what I'm saying? Gotta leave their families. A woman just has a baby and she gotta pay the rent. You know what I'm saying? She thinks she's happy. She has to leave her newborn. Hell no, she ain't fucking happy. She's sad as shit every day. You know what I'm saying? To me that ain't fucking life. I'm just saying you gotta do what you gotta do. But that ain't fucking living. That's fucking horrible. That's like torture. You know what I'm saying? Well shit, yo, thank you for tuning in. Be on the lookout for the next episode. It's gonna be brand new. So just stay tuned. Make sure you follow us on Twitter. It's just what it is. Doing what we doing. Thank you and like I always say, I come with the intentions of peace and love. And thank you for tuning in. We out.
