Listen. Advertise. Share. Hello once again. Welcome to Joe Radio Live. I'm your boy JC Vibes. If you are a first time listener, thank you for being on the inside. You have made a great decision to tune into this positive and motivational podcast network. We are going to get into our Hit Your Scripture. And today's Hit Your Scripture is taken from Philippians chapter 4 verse 4. And it says, Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice. I'll read it again. Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice. And that was taken from Philippians chapter 4 verse 4. That was your Hit Your Scripture. Alright. So you know how we do if you are an avid listener. Thank you for being so. Thank you for liking and sharing. It is a beautiful Monday morning. A bit cold. A bit chilly. We are here in the Caribbean and it is nothing compared to the US and other countries that are really taking a beating with heavy snowfall and stuff like that. And cold frigid temperatures and stuff like that. So we thank God that even though it is cold, it is nothing compared to what they are going through. We pray for those that are going through these different things. We pray for the homeless. Well yes they have shelters but everybody may not be able to get to one. There may not be room and stuff like that. So for those who are battling the cold, we pray Lord that you would come to their aid. That you would grant them some sort of relief. If you are celebrating a birthday today, happy birthday. If you are celebrating an anniversary, happy anniversary. If you are mourning the loss of a loved one, condolences, condolences to you. God will take you through. God will definitely bring you through. One day at a time, time will heal. So today's program is entitled, Don't Quit. And as I mentioned before, it is a beautiful Monday morning. It is the beginning of the work week. So people will be setting off to work, setting off to school and their other daily business that they need to get done. And as you start this week, there are things that are going to come your way. There are people that are going to come your way. The enemy has already planned for you, not just for today but even for the week. And this is one of the reasons why we need to get up early and pray. Because while we are sleeping away, the enemy is planning for our demise. Planning for our daily demise, planning for our weekly demise. You understand. So things are going to come. People are going to come. And we ought to be ready. We must be ready for whatever comes. Today, whatever comes this week as God would allow us to see it. And there are things that are going to really, really come at you. To shake your face and all these different things. And test your patience and all these kinds of things. But you must hold your ground. You must know who you are in Christ. You must stand on the Word of God. And really hold on to Jesus. Hold on to Jesus. And I want to tell you, don't quit. All of us are going to do challenges. And that is why they are called challenges. That is why they are called trials. Because they are never easy. And there are times when you are going to feel like quitting. You are going to feel like giving up. You are going to feel like, you know, you are wasting time. You are wasting this. You are wasting that. So long. And you are not seeing the results. You know, whenever, as human beings, whenever we don't see. Especially when you have put in the work. And we don't see the results that we expected, that we hoped for. You know, some people, a lot of people, tend to get despondent. And want to give up, and give up, and give up. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I want to tell you, giving up is not in your DNA. Giving up. I want you to remember that giving up is not in your DNA. You are the head. The Bible says you are the head and not the tail. Right? You are the head and not the tail. God created you to be a leader. Right? And so, whatever comes your way today. Whatever comes your way this week. To try to cause you to quit. I want to tell you, don't give in. Don't give in. You know, for those of you who probably watch WWE. In one of the many different things that they have. They have something called an I quit match. Right? Where the two guys, the two wrestlers wrestle until one person says, I quit. And the person that says, I quit. Is the one that loses the wrestling match. Right? And so, I want to tell you. Every day of your life, we are in a wrestling match with the enemy. We are in a wrestling match every single day with the enemy. And the minute you say, I quit. Whether you physically say it. Whether you emotionally say it. Whether you mentally say it. You have lost the battle. Don't ever say you quit. Because you are not a quitter. You are a winner. God did not create you. God did not create any of us to quit. Excuse me. The Bible says the joy of the Lord is our strength. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. And because of that, we don't have to give up. No matter how things look. No matter how it feels. No matter how much pain you might be in. You don't have to quit. You don't have to quit. And don't ever allow anyone to cause you to quit. Don't ever allow anyone to cause you to quit. To quit doing what God has called you to do. To quit being the awesome person that you are. To quit. Don't allow anyone to cause you to quit pursuing your dreams. Pursuing that job. Pursuing that scholarship. Pursuing that business venture. You are not a quitter. Every single day, speak positive. And tell yourself, I am not a quitter. Call yourself by name. By your name. I, whatever your name is, am not a quitter. Every day you say that to yourself. And you speak positive things to your life. Don't wait on somebody else to speak positive into your life or over your life. You, we, need to speak positive into our own lives as children of God. And before I continue, if you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, I want to encourage you to accept Him into your life today, today, today. It's very simple, quick and easy. I don't even have to tell you why you need to accept Jesus Christ if you have not already. It's clear to see. So, if you would like to do so, now, it's very quick, simple and easy. Just say, Lord Jesus, I come to you as sinner. I repent of all of my sins. I ask of your mercy and your forgiveness. Come into my life. Change me, Lord. I'm tired of living this way. I want to be better. I want to do better. And with your help, I can do better. I surrender to you today. I make you my Lord and my Savior. In Jesus' name. Amen. If you said that prayer, genuinely meant it from your heart, welcome to the body of Christ. Get a King James Version Bible and begin to read and study the Word of God. And continue and just keep going forward. Keep going forward in everything that you're pursuing in life. Keep going forward. Unless God tells you to stop. Unless God tells you to slow down. You do no such thing unless God tells you to. You don't stop unless God tells you to. You don't divert unless God tells you to. You don't slow down unless God tells you to. You listen to God and God alone. Whatever he is saying to you, you listen to God and God alone. You know, there is a scripture in the Old Testament. And I'm not going to go too deep into it right now because that's a whole other program. But I'm just going to touch on it to give you an example of something. There is a scripture in the Old Testament that talks about a young prophet and an elder prophet. And God told the young prophet to do something. And the young prophet was on his way to do it. And while on his way to do it, he met the elder prophet. And the elder prophet told him something contrary to what God had told him. And he decided to listen to the elder prophet. And it cost him his life. I want to tell you today. When we don't listen to God, it can cost us our lives. It cannot just cost us money and time and energy and resources. It can cost us our life. Not listening to God is disobedience. And we have all been there at some point in our lives. We have been disobedient to God. So, let us listen and obey and benefit, reap the blessings of God. In the book of Deuteronomy, I believe it's chapter 28, it talks about the blessings of obedience and the curse as a result of disobedience. Somewhere in Deuteronomy chapter 28. And I'm telling you. I'm saying all this to tell you. Listen to God. Whatever He tells you to do. Don't quit. Because the enemy is going to come at your heart. The enemy is going to come at your heart. There are things that the enemy has planned for me, for you, for this day, for this week. That unless God reveals it to us, we will not know. Unless God shows us. Tells us. However He chooses to reveal it to us. Other than that, we will not know. Because we are no match for the enemy without God. And this is why we need God. This is why we need Jesus. Our Lord and Savior. Soon coming King. Are you ready for your day today? Are you ready for your week as God would allow you to see it? Are you ready? Are you physically ready? Spiritually ready? Emotionally ready? Mentally ready? Physically ready? Psychologically ready? Are you ready? Are you ready for the traffic on the road? Are you ready for that bad boss that is waiting for you on work? Are you ready for that employee, that co-worker that is trying to cause you to lose your job? Are you ready? Are you ready for that frenemy that you think is your friend but really is not your friend? Are you ready? Are you ready to deal with all these things? If you don't have Jesus in your life, if you don't have that connection with God, then you're not ready. Because when these things begin to bombard you and you don't have that connection with God, you have no defense. You have no defense. And so I want to tell you, you can and you will in the name of Jesus, once you give it all to God, once you have that connection with Jesus, it doesn't matter what the enemy comes with. It doesn't matter who he sends. You will overcome. The Bible says we are more than conquerors to Jesus Christ. Jesus said because he has overcome the world, we shall also overcome the world. And you are, I am, we are overcomers in the name of Jesus. As you start this new day, as you start this new week, as God allows you to see, as God allows all of us to see it by the grace of God, I pray that you will have a successful day, a successful week. I pray that by the end of the week, as God allows, you will be able to look back on the week and be proud of the week you had and be grateful and thankful to God and say, yes Lord, I had a great week this week. I pray that you would not have any regrets come Friday, come Saturday. I pray that you would not have any regrets, but rather you would be thanking God endlessly. Thanking God for his protection. Thanking God for his blessings. Thanking God for his miracle working power. So I'm not going to be long. Some food for thought. Some motivation for this beautiful Monday morning. I can't stop stressing it. Awesome. Beautiful, beautiful morning. I ain't lying to tell you. God is really good. Father God, even right now, we thank you for every listener as always. I cover them with the blood of your son, Jesus Christ. I cover their families. Lord, I pray that they would have the best, not just the best day of their life, but the best week of their life as you allow them to see and myself included. Lord God, have your way move in a mighty way. And I pray, Lord God, that Lord, before the day is done, that you would give each and every one of us a testimony of your goodness, of your love, of your protection, of your mighty power in our lives. In Jesus' name, amen. Thank you all for listening. Until the next one, J.C. Vibes is gone, as I always tell you, don't just exist, but be a blessing.
