Hi, welcome to the computer science area. Today we'll be talking about Alan Turing's machine. Turing was a British mathematician, logician, and cryptographer who invented computer science and the idea of the computer. His invention, called the Bomba, helped shorten the war by over two years and saved many lives. Bomba was a computational model that could read input and generate output. It was used to decode messages from the German encryption machine, Enigma, during World War II. Turing's invention was innovative and expensive, but it laid the foundation for any type of physical calculation. Thanks for listening and see you next time! Don't forget to tune in. Hola, buenas tardes. Bienvenidos al área de informática. En el día de hoy estaremos hablando sobre un tema que es muy desconocido, la máquina de Alan Turing. Bueno, Alan Turing fue un matemático, lógico y cryptógrafo británico un poco introvertido, el cual inventó la ciencia computacional y la idea de la computadora, que contribuyó significativamente a la inteligencia aleada. Al haber usado Bomba, acortó la guerra por más de dos años salvando a mucha gente. ¿Pero qué era Bomba? Bueno, pues Alan declaró en una entrevista que se inventó en un modelo computacional que realizaba una lectura generando una salida en esa misma. Enigma era una máquina de cifrado utilizada por fuerzas alemanas, pero los aliados lograron descifrar un mensaje con Bomba, codificando el cual fue un avance significativo para la Segunda Guerra Mundial. También dijo que su invento fue innovador y que costó demasiado dinero, pero que aún así esa máquina sentó las bases para calcular físicamente, literalmente, cualquier cosa que se pueda calcular.
