God's Faithfulness is from generation to generation. He can be trusted to have a people who will arise and do great exploits in each generation of people. Secondly, we talk about the importance of imparting, encouraging and training the young people who will carry the torch after we are gone. Photo by Sebastián León Prado on

God is faithful from one generation to the next. Christianity and His people are only one generation away from extinction, so raising up the next generation is critical. Scriptures in Psalms and other books emphasize God's faithfulness and His promises to all generations. His Word and His works endure throughout all generations. His kingdom is everlasting, and His dominion endures through all generations. God's faithfulness and His throne remain forever. Even in the darkest times, there is a remnant of people who desire truth. God is always on the throne, and He provides comfort and hope. Amen. God is faithful one generation to the other. And God Himself takes a responsibility to each generation. God Himself is aware that Christianity and His people are only one generation away from extinction. And unless a next generation is raised up, then the gospel cannot be completed as was planned. So this is such a critical thing, that we understand how God works, and yet it says God is faithful. Let's read some scriptures. Let's just begin in the book of Psalms. There are so many that speak of this. David had such an understanding of God's faithfulness, and he was so confident of God's faithfulness to the next generations. Amen. Let's just begin in the book of Psalms. Perhaps we can have two readers tonight. The first reader, Brother Cass, if you have light and you're able to read. And then Brother Emanuel, yes, there's no light, but I read from my phone. Okay, as long as you're able. All right. First, we'll go to Brother Xavier, and we'll begin in Psalm 89, and read verse 3 to 5. And then Brother Emanuel, can you please prepare Psalm 119, verse 89 and 19. Go ahead, Pastor Xavier. We'll start with these. Psalm 89, 3 to 5. I have made a covenant with my chosen. I have sworn unto David, my servant, thy seed will I establish forever, and build up thy throne to all generations. And the heavens shall praise thy wonders. O Lord, thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints. Amen. So the promise to David was to him and to all generations, and those of us who study the Word of God understand that that is ultimately fulfilled through the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the King of Kings, who sits upon the throne. King Hank is an offspring of David, and he sits on his throne forever. Next one, Brother Emanuel, from Psalm 119. Next, Xavier 135, verse 13. All right, Emanuel, go ahead. Psalm 119, verse 89 says, For ever, O Lord, thy Word is settled in heaven. Thy faithfulness is unto all generations. Thou hast established the earth, and it abided. Thy Word is settled in heaven, and your faithfulness is unto all generations. Lord, you established the earth, and because you are the one who established it, it still abides. I would say, we could easily say, God, you have established your people, and because it is you who has established us, our work will remain. We will continue in the name of Jesus, not because of power or might that we have, but because his Word is settled in heaven, and all heaven stands behind the Word of God to perform it. Amen. Remember that verse, thy faithfulness is to all generations. So there was a covenant with David to all generations, and his throne would continue. But in this verse, we find out that God's faithfulness remains and abides, and we find out that God's Word abides. All right, that's the Savior. Psalm 135, verse 13, and before you read, Brother Emanuel, are you ready? Psalm 145, and verse 4, following Savior. Psalm 135, verse 13, thy name, O Lord, endures forever, and thy memorial, O Lord, throughout all generations. That's our Savior. What continues in this verse? What remains and continues generation to generation? The name of the Lord and his memorial. What does it mean, his memorial? I think he's acts that remain in the memory of the people. Good. I believe you're correct. And also, some of the memorial stones and some of the places in Israel, and those memories are kept alive by saying, now this is the place, this is memory. This is the place where God met and spoke to Abraham. This is this place, and this is that place, as well. All right. Psalm 145, verse 4, one generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. Praise the Lord. Brother Emanuel, what's happening in this verse, which is not just a memorial, but there's something else happening here. Praise God. I see the passing on of the work of God, the service of God, from one generation to another. And the continuation of the manifestation of God as that work is being passed from one generation to another, so is the continuation of the manifestation of the mighty works of God in the second generation that it is being passed on to. So how do you see that, Brother Emanuel, in action, even in your own life? From the Scriptures, what is ministering to me is, as one generation fades or leaves the picture, who is not storing of the second generation, it ushers the second generation into the service and into a stronger work with the Lord. And through that moment, it gives opportunity for the mighty works of the Lord for the next generation, just as it was with the previous generation. So hearing the stories or seeing the acts of God through men and women of God that you know, and you see it, also hearing it, you know, your great-grandfather, this and this and this happened, and God did this, and God did that. So why is God called the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob? Why don't they just call him the God of Jacob? Because he's the God who continues from generation to generation, and unto each generation, God is faithful. So you're correct when we hear what mighty things God has done. We realize, wow, that God could do it again through us. We're encouraged. Amen. Anybody else? Amen. Amen. If you want at this point, you're welcome. Hallelujah. In Psalm 145, verse 13, we read verse 4, let's read verse 13. Savior, I guess you're next. Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endures throughout all generations. Have you ever noticed that leaders rise up and leaders fall? Leaders are born, they live, and leaders die. Every, you know, every kingdom, even Daniel saw this vision of five major, major kingdoms that would come, and the last of those kingdoms was the kingdom of God. Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. There's no other kingdom who has lasted, no kingdom I don't think has lasted more than a thousand years. I can't think which is the longest lasting kingdom. Some are come, and they're gone. They're powerful kingdoms, but they soon fade. Thy dominion endures through all generations. I was so surprised how many times this idea was captured in the Word of God. Next, Psalm 146, and verse 10. Psalm 146, verse 10. The Lord shall reign forever, even thy God. O Zion, unto all generations, praise ye the Lord. The Lord shall reign. I'm thinking about Psalm 110, which is, and the Lord spoke unto my Lord, sit here until I make your enemies your footstools. That is correct. I love that, Psalm 110, it's also quoted. You know that Psalm 110 is the most quoted Old Testament passage quoted in the New Testament. I was surprised to learn that. And so I pay more attention now that I know that. And so in 1 Corinthians, when Paul quotes this, and he makes it so real, chapter 15, I believe it is, and how it says, and the Lord said unto my Lord, sit here until I make my enemies thy footstool. And it says that he shall reign, and you shall reign until all enemies are put underneath your feet. You see, we're talking about a kingdom that's an everlasting kingdom. Unfortunately, God has to expand our minds because we are so limited in our understanding of God's work and God's kingdom, his plan from the beginning to the end. And we are just kind of fixed in time. We may be able to think 10 or 15 years back or forwards, but we're really stuck in time. And God has to open our understanding to see that God is at work. And we are part of his plan, but we're not the whole show, but we are part of his plan. And in this part, without our generation, whichever generation you might be, without generation doing our part, we can get the privilege of cooperating with our God and being a part of what he's doing in this generation. I remember reading even this week about Elijah and Elisha, how Elijah was complaining to the Lord in despair that he was the only one left who had not found his knee to bear, the only one who feared the Lord. And God says, don't fear, Elijah. I have 7,000 who have not found their knee to bear. And I noticed that following that experience, God gave him instructions to anoint Elisha and also one king. And from that time, Elijah went and anointed Jehu. Jehu went and destroyed the kingdoms of the kings, the Jezebel, the Ahab, the Neheh, Ahaziah, these people that were against the Lord. You see the faithfulness of Elijah, the faithfulness of God, who still had a remnant of people, even in the darkest hour. Fear not, you're not alone. There are others who, in their hearts, God has called them. And your generation, there are people, as evil as it may seem, there are people who do desire truth. Sometimes those people have to go far down before they are given the truth and they begin to come very high. The Lord shall forever, even thy God, O Zion, and all generations, praise ye the Lord. And then, brother Savior, Daniel 4, verse 3. The book of Lamentations, chapter 5, right? Right. Verse 19. Okay. Verse 19. It says, Thou, O Lord, remaineth forever, thy throne from generation to generation. So brother Cassander, is God still Lord in the next generation? Yes, He is. Is He still on the throne in the midst of Nigeria? Yes, He's still on the throne, even now. How about the next generation who follows you? Is He still on the throne? Yes, He is. It's a beautiful thing to know, yes. You know, daddy, when I was in Lagos, and I was in great distress because of that business at the time, I had need for some comfort. I didn't really get respite. The Lord was not interested in that business, so help didn't come. So, it was one of those times that I understood what it means to have a heavenly father. Yes, money didn't come, the business was not there, but I was comforted. Yes. So, it makes me think and say, wow, there is hope in this world. If I have not that, and I know I have one, who remains forever? Whenever the sinner is gone. So, it's a beautiful thing that we know that we have one that remains, cannot be dethroned, does not die. It's a beautiful thing, and scripture declares it. But it's also a responsibility to teach. I see the scripture giving me a responsibility to make the next generation to know this that I've known, to enjoy what I've enjoyed. I always share how much you taught me when you said, we will pray and God will provide you. Spoke with confidence. I had to screenshot that chapter, I still have a picture of the chapter, yes. You said it was sincerely one of the most stunning points. Anytime I remember, the testimony is fresh. So, it's something I've learned from you. I need to also teach people to have confidence in God, and to say, we will pray about this, and have confidence that God will answer. Amen. Amen. Amen. Brother Xavier, read the next one, Daniel 4, verse 3, please. Daniel, chapter 4, verse 3. How great are his signs, and how mighty are his wonders. His kingdom is a neverlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation. Oh, hallelujah. I remember Elisha picking up the mantle and coming to the Jordan, and he says, where is the God of Elijah? Man, that's a fantastic question. Where is the God of Elijah? As if God died when Elijah passed. God is the same from generation unto generation. He changes not. His signs, his mighty and great signs. How mighty are his wonders. His kingdom, do you know what kingdom means? He's ruling, he's in charge, things are under his hands, and wickedness is not won. Hallelujah. Amen. Amen. And like you say, Brother Cassander, it brings us a responsibility. We're responsible before God for also for this next generation, as we're going to be seeing. No matter what generation that you're in, there's a next one behind you. Let's read Psalm 102, verse 18. I think we're back to the manual. And then, Brother Case, you get Malachi 4, 6. And Pastor Xavier, if you need to write it down, go ahead. Psalm 78, verse 5 to 7. I'll repeat through one more time. Emanuel 102 of Psalms, 102, verse 18. And then Malachi 4, verse 6. Lastly, Psalm 78, verse 5 to 7. Let's begin. Can we begin from the end? All right. Whoever wants to begin, go ahead. They're all on the same subject. Psalm 78, verse 3. Yeah, reading from 3 to 7 is good. Yes. Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children, showing to generation, showing to the generation to come the praises of the Lord and his strength and his wonderful works that he has done. For he established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded his fathers that they should make them known to their children, that the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born, who should arrive and declare them to their children, that they might set their hope in God and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments. So, there's three areas there, Pastor Xavier, that children should do. What are those three things? There are three things that children must do. Yes. Number one, they must not forget God. The children must do. Yes. Number one, the children must know from their fathers what the Lord has done. And when they know what the Lord has done, they also should arise to declare the same message to their children. And number three, they must set their hope in God and never forget the works of God. Actually, I think there are many things children must do, because I can see three things in verse seven and I have already spoken almost two or three. So, make it five things and you'll be okay. Add two more. They might set their hope in God, not forget the works of God, and keep in the commandments of God. So, there's five areas that you can work on with your children. Yes, sure. That they may know for generations. You know, in that conference, we told many stories from previous generations. We let all of you be reminded of where you came from and who you are connected to. Not only, for example, Pastor Xavier, the legacy of Sister Richard and that which God has birthed in her heart. But also, you are connected to and through all nations. So, there's a legacy. There's a powerful impartation and there are many stories that go with this. Sometimes we forget the simple stories of what God has done. But I've heard back from many of you, and these stories, even what Brother Kaspandu shared today, a simple statement he remembers. And it sets his hope in God. That he won't forget the works of God and that he will maintain and keep his commandments simply because the servant of the Lord, Pastor Gordon, just said something to him that is a way of life for me, but also has become and is becoming a way of life for him. So, this is something passed on from generation to generation. Hallelujah. Okay. Who has Psalm 102, verse 18? Brother Kaspandu, which verse do you have? Malachi, verse 6. 102, 18. Brother Emmanuel is my teen brother. I have Malachi. Okay. I read Malachi. Okay. I read Malachi. Malachi 4, verse 6. Should I start from 5? Okay. I think it's verse 6. If you like, you're welcome. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And he shall turn the heart of the father to the children and the heart of the children to their father. Least I come and smite the earth with a cross. There's something about that verse that is always stirred in my heart and never fully understood. I know that it's fulfilled in and through Elijah, through repentance, through the message of the Lord coming forth saying, prepare for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. It's about to explode upon you. It's about to come. But turning the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers. Amen. Amen. There's something to do with this. Brother Cassander, what do you see in there that has to do with the subject we're talking about? Daddy, I must say sincerely, I share your sentiment. I'm beginning to think of it as very serious. Why would the Lord say the children's hearts should be turned to the father and the father also to the children? I think what God is trying to do is that it is with a sense of urgency that there be no generational gap. In as much as we have our personal encounters with God, something is lost. If the heart of the children do not yearn for their father, if I do not reach out to you, Daddy, maybe to ask some questions, there are feedbacks from you that strengthens my heart and teaches me. I remember you called me once and told me that the Lord's prayers were effective but not consistent. That was some time ago. I remember those words very well. On one hand, it gave me hope that at least my prayer had effect. But also, I had rebuke on the other hand. I saw because truly I was not consistent. There were times I would pray so well. At other times, I don't pray at all. So, it is important. The Bible says, the Lord will smite the earth with a curse, which means if fathers and children are not thus reconciled as the Bible recommends, there will be a gap which allows for the curse to oppress. Many things are lost. I found that in my little life that many things are lost if they are not sought. Many things are lost. A generation can come out without an experience in certain area about God and it's a disaster. It's so important that when the, was it the Syriac King Amorites who carried off the whole people of the Northern Kingdom, Israel, when he brought in other people, they began to suffer from lions. They had to go get a priest to try to teach them, although that was not perfect. But that how serious a gap can be in a generation. It's a disaster when the children are hurt. And it's a powerful thing. I think it also speaks of revival. Imagine me yearning for ritual fatherhood. It talks of a yearning in their heart that comes upon a generation and they begin to seek those who have gone ahead of them and say, Daddy, how did you do it? How was it like in your days? How was the revival in your time? What do you do about this kind of situation? How did you live a pure life? Those kind of things. And the father also being really to reach out. I believe when that happened in our world, if you watch, imagine it happening in America or imagine it happening in Nigeria. I can't explain. It would be a wonderful sight and experience. Absolutely. That's what I see there. Beautifully said. Thank you for that. And often the children are rebellious and they don't honor the wisdom, the strength of their fathers. Yeah. And even instructions of Paul that the older women would teach the younger women. These kind of things are lost when this rebelliousness is sown in the hearts of our young people. Amen. So I will be the one to read Psalm 102 verse 18. Since Brother Emmanuel seems to have lost his connection. I'm there. You're there. Please read that. This shall be written for the generation to come. And the people which shall be created shall praise the Lord. Psalm 102 verse 18. Here the writer says, this shall be written for the generation to come. And the people which shall be created shall praise the Lord. It takes me to the book of Romans where it is captured that these things that have been written have been written as examples for us to learn. So God has done something. He needs it captured in ink such that the people who were not present then when these things were happening can come and read these things. And by believing they shall praise the Lord. Much as when the Lord was performing these things they were not present. So they are written for example to those who were not present to the next generation which was not present when the Lord was doing these actions. So that is what I think there that this is written such that the generation to come can read it and praise the Lord for his mighty works. Amen. So importance of reading for us this generation, the importance for us reading the revivals, the mighty moves of God so that to praise the Lord and so that we can also be encouraged. And now for this generation as you know I believe that you should have a journal. You should have some place where you record those things as they happen which the Lord has done. And something you can pass to the next generation so that they can also praise the Lord. Amen. What do you say Father Pastor Faber? You've been sitting quietly on the side. We'd love to hear from you. What is all this speaking to you tonight? Thank you Reverend. I've been listening intently and it's a wonderful subject. But I've also been asking questions from the scriptures that you've read. I've had this question pop up within me and I ask and I'm thankful that the Lord is bringing ideas and insight. And I just want to ask this question also amongst us as brethren. Let's consider it. Why does the Lord, why does the Lord, the scripture Pastor Xavier read, he talks about three major things the Lord would have us do. He says declare his praise, tell of his acts, and I think the last one is connected to the second one. I think it's mighty wonderful. But then I'm asking. Now the Lord's kingdom and dominion is from generation to generation. Our God is from everlasting to everlasting. He has never left his throne for somebody else. And he has never said, okay, I'm taking a break. He's alive from everlasting to everlasting. So in every generation, the Lord is present, always present. And he can also move in every generation. So here's the question. Why does he, why does he ask us to communicate his works, his faithfulness, his praise and his mighty works and communicate it to the next generation when he could also, you know, do his mighty works and then the next generation can see for themselves and also come to form their own testimonies about the Lord. Why does the Lord have us? And, you know, in spite of the fact that we get to share this, he still moves through in every generation. I'm making this, making this player expressing his mighty works now. However, why does he want us to go ahead and share this? I want us to think about this. God has given me some direction, but anybody, does anybody have any contribution? Why does the Lord request or require us to orally, to orally share this message, message of his faithfulness, message of his mighty works, and then share it to the next generation and the next generation will share it to the next generation. Why do we think the Lord would have us do that? Go ahead, Brother Xavier. You have a thought on that? I have a simple thought. Number one, John chapter four, around verse 24, the Bible says God is a spirit. And according to the way he has created this dimension, the spiritual dimension and our physical dimension, I mean, as in physical realm and spiritual realm, it is against his laws for a spiritual dimension. I mean, for a spirit to communicate to physical beings without permission from the physical beings. Like, for example, if we have not allowed him through prayer and asked him to do some things, I believe he will see us in need and not be moved because he's a spirit. He wants to relate to our spirit. So, it's against the law for God to, against his own laws that he has set for God to come and intervene in earthly affairs without permission from the earthly dwellers. I have a picture of it when a king, those kings of the ancient days, sent his son in a distant place like a colony. It is illegal for that king to come to the same colony without the son's permission, who is a king in the king's place. So, I think that the dynamics may work like that. Then secondly, which is almost the same thing, the Bible says his word is forever established. He's not going to change even a single note. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. So, I think he is not interested in doing a repetition of the same thing when there are people who have already grasped the message. Let them pass it on because it is simple for a human to speak with a human. And I think that is why even the Lord Jesus Christ himself had to put on a body, a human body to come and relate with us. You see, come and relate with us. He's like us, you know, he can eat, he can sleep, he can sit down, you know. He can be tired, he has emotions. And you see, even the Bible itself boasts about this Jesus that he was tempted like any other man. But in all these things, this Jesus did not sin. So, I think it is quite easier. Actually, God can speak. I can see him in the book of Job. The Bible says he thunders from heaven. And for sure, I think even in this class, nobody likes that sound of thunder. Because it shocks people. Like imagine God is standing in the skies and is thundering the oracles that we have in the Bible. It would be, you know, like kind of spectacular. It would be... But I think it is better for me to hear from Reverend Gordon than hearing from the sun. So, I... That's impressive. Yes. Yeah. You know, I mean, like Pastor Kemp has given us a reference point that, you know, you text me and I have even a screenshot of the messages. And this thing has worked. Because, you know, you have proof that it works for Pastor Kemp. Now, let me believe it for two weeks and see what's going to come out. And all of a sudden, this thing works out. So, there is no need to hear from the thunder when there is Pastor Kemp to communicate the message. So, I believe I've tried to scratch a little bit. Let others add on. Thank you. Thank you, Pastor Xavier. Yeah. Beautiful. I like that. I like that second point. All the points are beautiful. Yes. Wonderful point, Pastor Xavier. You know, and I agree with him. And in addition to that, I'm thinking about, I think about the principles, the spiritual principles that the Lord has established to guide our relationship with Him, our relationship with one another. Now, Paul writes and he says, and so that I will not boast, he said, a ton in the flesh was given to me. Now, he was writing, he says, so that I will not be prideful or boastful as regards the many revelations I received. The Apostle Paul had many revelations. He received a lot of revelations. So, then he says, so that I won't be boastful. God did this. God did that. Now, this tells us that in the spirit with the Lord, humility is a huge, is a spiritual principle. In fact, you cannot, you cannot advance in your walk with God if you don't, if you're not humble. And one way the Lord keeps us humble is by placing elders over our lives, people who would teach us, people who would instruct us. And it's also, it's also seen in the organization of the world. Everybody who we see today was born from somebody else, was born from somebody. There has to be a generation that precedes your generation, and your generation will precede another generation. And this is God's, this is God's pattern. This is God's plan. The way of also helping us stay and walk in humility, and walk in respect, and walk in reverence. And also when the testimony of his faithfulness, even though you can, you can start with the Bible and desire to have encounter with him and he can speak to your heart and all of that, God wanted, God wants us to learn his ways from somebody else, from an elder, which in practice, it's not just hearing about his ways, but there's a virtue, there's a character that's being impacted. And it's the virtue and it's the character of humility, it's teachability, right? You know, he says, in Jeremiah 18 verse 1, he says to the prophet Jeremiah, he says, Arise and go down to the Father's house. And there, of course, you'd still hear my words. I've often asked the question, I mean, he could have told him the things he wanted to tell him, you know, just about the same time he was saying, Arise and go to the Father's house. But he had designed it that Jeremiah would get the instruction, that the instruction he wanted to give him from going to the Father's house, from going to somebody else who was killed, who was older, and all of that. So the Lord passes the message of his faithfulness from an older generation or, yeah, an older generation, physically, spiritually, to teach us also the virtue of humility, teachability, and all of that. Secondly, I believe that the Lord causes us to share the testimony of his faithfulness by reciting his praise, reciting his acts, so that it could build also for fellowship, for union, for the unity of the faith. You see, when we share, when we share this, when we share his praise, when we share his act and all of that, there's a bonding, there's a fellowship, there's a unity of spirit. Thank you, Holy Spirit. There's a unity of spirit created, and this is very essential, very essential, the need for the bond of peace. And one of the most important prayers the Lord Jesus made, you know, before his ascension, he said that there may be one. Psalm 133, there he talks about the place of unity. And so we see that God, you know, we could, because he's our Father, right? I mean, we can all have individual assets to him, but he says, okay, when it comes to this, reciting my faithfulness, I'd like for you to pass the testimonies of my faithfulness and my act to be passed on. The reason is because when it's done, there's a bond of fellowship. There's this joy, there's this bonding of spirit that's created. It's just like an older brother talking about their father and their father and mother, talking about when they were older. I mean, the children could also find it, you know, hear those stories by going to their father and say that, tell us about your life. But when the older brother tells that story, you see that, you see, first off, you see that humility, that respect towards this older person. And again, it's that air of fellowship, that air, that bonding of spirit. And these are the things that make the family closely knit. And in this case, we're talking about the family of God. So I'm looking at the wisdom, I'm looking at the wisdom, and I'm looking at what the Lord intends to realize in our hearts, the character traits and the virtues that he intends to impart in us by means of resounding and reassuring and constantly telling of his faithfulness from one generation to another generation. So these are... Man. Man. So 2nd Timothy 3.16 gives us a clarity of some of the responsibilities of spiritual leaders who are raising up younger ones. And we know this scripture quite well, most of us, 2nd Timothy 3.16, all scriptures. And I will say that every father, since they're all men here, every father, every mentor should be using the Word of God to bring the correct understanding of doctrine to those who they're mentoring. And second, they would bring correction for the doctrine for reproof. So this reproof and correction are two areas that often fathers, spiritual fathers, step out of their authority and refuse to do. Young people need not only to understand the correct doctrine, but they need to be reproved. How valuable is reproof? Son, you're going the wrong way. And if you continue in that way, it will end up not so good for you. That's a reproof. Son, you need to make a correction in this. And this is not the right way to go, but go this way. And then instruction in righteousness. This is not the right way. Turn and go this way. And this is the way to go. This is the correct righteousness. Young people need to be reproved and corrected because young people don't have a full understanding, as full as the last generation has, that we've made our own mistakes already. So the one valuable thing that you can give is to reproof and correct and instruct. It's okay if an older person is concerned about you. Concerned that you're headed in the wrong direction and just slightly off. And they want to make a correction and show you a better way. They reproved you. They brought a correction. And they brought the instruction in righteousness. These areas are both the negative and the positive. Such a valuable thing to have a father who's not an absent father. That would speak into your life and say, son, that's not how I taught you. Son, although you have your own ideas, I've already tried that one. And it probably won't work because it's not the right way to do it. This correction and this instruction, this reproof and review, is something that as we are already growing into the next generation, we have those young ones following after us. And we must be faithful and diligent in those areas to reprove, correct, instruct. And getting correct doctrine is also important. But many men stop at correct doctrine. And they're, you know, discussing and feeding over correct doctrine. Sometimes all you need to do is take the young person aside and say, son, if you chase after this girl, you will catch her. But if you catch her, you will catch something you're not expecting. I think God has something greater for you. Right? Or, son, that's not the way to go about. You need to honor. And so and so, and you need to listen to her. You honor her, the Lord of blood to you. Amen. Brother Kiss, go ahead. Oh, I didn't know I'd left this mic open for such a long time. Okay. Okay. Such a long time. And because of that, yeah, because of that, you owe us some good wisdom. I had wanted to say in response to what question, question Pastor Fever raised. All I wanted to say was that I believe God works in a system. I called it walking from rest. Bible say God created the heavens and the earth and every other thing in six days and on the seventh day rested. What God does that he creates a system. He does not need to repeat it again. There's a system of things on earth. We have the family, we have fathers and children. So it is expected that things are written in a book for record purposes and the next generation reads it. God does not need to do his work over and over again. Just like Christ does not need to be killed to shed his blood again. He did it once and for all. So creating, bringing into force the system of redemption. And when God created man, he created a system that causes man to multiply himself. He does not need to create each time and Adam every other time. So I believe that's how God works. So in the same way, God did not bicop the system by saying, okay, an angel is coming to serve us. But he sent a man, the man Christ. Just like Pastor Fever talked about that. It is the system of God being at work. So God has men. Remember, Jesus had a discourse with the rich man in hell. And what did he say? The rich man believed that if somebody would come from the dead, they may be repented and revived in his home. But Jesus said, there is a provision available. In the timeline of your brothers and sisters, they have Moses and the prophets. Nothing else will be given to you other than Moses. If you do not listen to them, you won't listen to a man from the dead. He said you have Moses and the prophets. Your brothers have that opportunity to listen to Moses and the prophets. That's the provision. That's the system of God. So it is important that a generation would discern those sent to them. So that they don't miss it. There will be no excuse before God. Amen. Hallelujah. Amen. That's excellent, Brother Cassandro. Because we need, you know, when God wanted to communicate with us, it says in John 14, and it says, And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. We really need to see the Word in flesh to understand it. You need to see the Word active in somebody, and follow it and pursue it to really understand. And we beheld, what does beheld mean? We saw it, we experienced it, we looked at it, and we dissected it, and we said, you know, I see this. We behold his glory. The glory as of the only begotten Father. Now, a son of Father. Now listen, we need to see the glory of God in somebody. It really makes a difference when you see God's glory in flesh. The next thing is, we need, as we're growing up, we need a spiritual covering. We need a mother in the church praying for us. Because the devil seeks to kill and destroy. We need the elders to be praying for the youngers. A challenge to each of you today, pray for those young people. Don't just talk bad about them. How horrible is that? Their attitudes and how much they need to learn. Stop it. Prophesy over them. Pray over them. And teach them. Get active in their lives saying, I would love to teach you. Are you interested? They need a spiritual covering. They need a model to see Christ in us. What does that look like? They need to hear your stories over and over again. They need your attitudes imparted to them. It's not just how you acted, but it's your heart attitude many times that makes a difference in the midst of a trial to win the victory. Outlook, your understanding of the word, how to apply in life. And they need imparted wisdom. There's wisdom that you can get through hard knocks. And there's wisdom you can receive from someone else. So these are things that we need to consider as well. That spiritual environment. What if you grew up in hell? A family was just like hell. You never learned God's ways. It takes you half a lifetime to recover from how you learned it when you were young. To relearn it. So much better if a young person can be trained in God's ways when they're young. And they already, they say, standing on the shoulders of someone else. When you teach a young person, remember that they'll have children one day. Remember that they'll have children one day. And they are to teach their own children. Oh, may the Lord help us to pray for the younger ones. Encourage them. They need a lot of encouragement. Believe in them. Prophesy for them. No matter the craziness of the way they're acting. Pray over them. Believe in them. Believe in God for this next generation. God is faithful. He is able. And tell them what God did for you. Tell them what God did for you. If God could do it for me, son, I was a mess. But God can do it for you. He can make you faithful. He can make you firm and stand fast. We just need to believe in the God of the next generation. Hallelujah. Any questions before we call it a night? It's getting late for our brother Pastor Xavier. I wanted to give like a testimony, a witness. No. It's about you, by the way. Oh, no. I'll close my ears. Yeah. When we were in South Africa, one of the most striking things I learned, and this has come back to my mind when you said, we beheld, we saw, is the way, when we are on the road, the way you relate with your wife. Yeah. I mean, you cannot be on board unless she is on already. I needed to see that. I did not see her open that door any one single time because you were always there. First, you open the door, you make sure she is seated comfortably, and you close the door. After closing the door, then you can come and also board and get your seat. You cannot imagine how that affected my life because I observed it in an elder. I saw it working and, you know, and now the way I relate with my own has totally been affected by what I observed. Hallelujah. So, we need elders. You know, sometimes they will read to us the Word, sometimes they will preach, but even their own lives, as we behold the life, as we just observe, there are things which, I think it's an impartation, there are things which are imparted as we observe the elders. The elders are praying for us, but they are also acting a certain lifestyle which we are receiving impartation even when they are not aware that we are observing. So, I wanted to bring that witness when you said with it, and I didn't even share it with you even when we were still there, but it was quite striking and we would sit down with Ezra and we would be talking about, you see how Mzee is caring for Mama. But we got a huge, huge, huge lesson on how to relate with our friends, our friends for life, you know, and it was quite striking and it quite affected us so much positively in the name of our Lord. Amen. So, what rebuke did you hear me give to a young man who was not properly caring for someone who wasn't for you? Another young man was responsible for caring for his mother who, you know, had breakfast because she was having difficulty to walk. Yes, yes. So, I have a story. It's an interesting story. Yeah. In an animal preserve somewhere in Africa, they had elephants and these elephants, the old bull had passed away and they had a lot of young bulls, young elephants, males, many of them, that they had imported from different places. They wanted to raise them so that they could continue breeding and this and that because the old bull had passed. So, all of these young bulls, there was four or five or six of them, they began to get older and they began to be of the age where they thought they were really big and they began to knock over trees, they began to fight among each other, they began to tear up things and they were not at all cooperative to the keepers of the land. And so, they asked the old gentleman who had been the keeper of the old bull, they said, what are we to do? We have no bull here. To teach these young ones, what are we to do? On the pole, attached to that long pole, a big bundle of clothing and a mattress and a few things and tie it to your jeep so that the ball is about the level in front of the jeep, maybe 20, 30 feet in front. It would fall down to be about the level where if you drive quickly, you can bang one of those bulls. And if they begin to knock the trees and do these things, come and boom them. You don't hurt them, you just give them the lesson. And you know, those young bulls fell into line and they begin to behave correctly. You know, sometimes we just need an old bull in our life. One of the previous generations. As much as we dislike some of the ways that we've been corrected, sometimes we need to give up in order to listen. And remember this? So that's my story. It's not exactly a spiritual story, but it's a parable with a spiritual meaning. We should not be afraid. We should not be afraid to discipline the correct. Because we really don't know how our words, we are responsible, are on our hands if we don't correct. We don't discipline in love. And mostly, the reason we don't is a matter of lack of love on our part, lack of caring. We need to care enough to correct and discipline and instruct. I'll turn it to you for one last comment and we're going to close. Brother Zebedee, if you have anything remaining that you'd like to say that you're wishing you could get a chance, Brother Zebedee, we welcome you to share now. Reverend, I must appreciate today's Bible study. I was just following the testimony that has been shared. Particularly the one shared about you. We're humbled to have you teach us week by week. I must confess that your patience has taught me a whole lot. And we just hope that we younger generation have this patience to stay on the Word and to also grow into maturity. I'm happy listening, hearing God's Word through you. And that's my comment. Thank you, Reverend. Brother Cage, take us to the Lord tonight and close us out. Whatever the Lord puts in your heart. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Amen. Righteous Father, we are grateful for such a time as this. We have been refreshed in your presence. We thank you for the gift of the Father in the person of your servant, Reverend Gordon, who has poured into us his life. We have an example of faith. We have an example of personal piety, devotion, prayer. We have an example of godly marriage, of love in marriage, love for the wife, just as Jesus loved the church. Thank you for this example, Lord. We ask that you strengthen him and we pray for us first, the younger generation, that we will not fail you, that this same path in our life will be of much fruit. Much fruit. Amen. For it is your will that it be of much fruit. Help us, O Lord, to have an eye for the next generation after us, that the things we are learning and have learned so far will not be lost. O Righteous One, all over the earth let the revival pass. Let the hearts of the children be turned again to their fathers. And let the fathers again reach out to the children in our nation, in our countryside, in our country homes, O God. We pray, we pray once again, we pray once again for the turning of the hearts of the children to the fathers. O let men go once again like they did in the days of John the Baptist to ask, what shall we do? So just ask, what shall we do? All classes of people went to ask. And Jesus said that that generation from the days of John the Baptist the kingdom of heaven suffered violence and the violence took it in by force. We pray that once again people will press into your kingdom. Thank you for what you are doing. Lord, would you not count it as a lifetime of these studies we have every Friday. It's a privilege. O Righteous One, help us to be wise enough to say even as Peter said, it is good to be here Lord. And I say it tonight, it is good to be here. It is good to be in this Bible study. It is a privilege and honor that we are counted worthy to be part of this training, this Bible school, O Righteous One. O we may not know how much value we have, but we know the little we can. Please Lord bless your Sabbath, bless his ministry, bless all nations. O let the fruit that it will bear continue to grow from nation to nation all over the world. Jesus. Jesus, let glory come to your name. Let glory come to your name, Lord. This is our family. Let rebellious children turn again to you. The Father of all flesh and let them turn also to their parents and let parents to their children, O Lord. For that is what we seek, that our land be not purposed. In Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. Thank you. Jesus. Thank you Lord. Jesus. Thank you so much. I have been so inspired by you cannot exercise authority if you are not under authority. And I've been writing and writing and writing on that, going from scripture to scripture. But I might try to quote at you. I said, my father, that's the key word. If a man under authority, that's the topic of what I've been trying to write over time. Yeah, like the centurion who came to Jesus and he says, I am a man of authority. When I say this, but we usually say I'm a man of authority and so everyone I tell to do this or we don't realize that he said I'm a man under authority. Authority, yeah. And when I command one does this and he does it. Because he is a man under authority he has authority. So it's good that you're learning and studying that. I asked the Lord when I was about 25 years old, I said, Lord, I don't understand my place, proper authority and structure of your kingdom but I asked you to teach me. And I really needed that. And so now I know my place much better. And as such I can fill my place with confidence and not take someone else's. There's room for me, Jacob said when he done that last well. The Lord has made room for me. There's a place for you each one of you. God bless you. Good night. Good night. God save you. Good reports. Thank you for that. And good night to you all. Good night. Good night.
