Since the pandemic, TikTok has become very popular, especially among young people. A study conducted in September 2023 found that 50% of 11 to 17-year-olds use TikTok for almost 2 hours every day. Since the pandemic, there has been a steep increase in the consumption of short-form media introduced by TikTok. So Amy and Kamila wrote that, a common sense study conducted in September 2023 found that out of 203 11 to 17 years olds, 50% used TikTok for a media of 1 hour and 52 minutes per day.
