The speaker talks about the importance of giving glory and honor to God, emphasizing His holiness, mercy, and truth. They share personal testimonies and examples of people who have glorified God in difficult circumstances. The speaker encourages listeners to glorify God at all times, even when things are not going well, and to remember that God does not change. They also mention the importance of exalting God for His faithfulness and truth. If you ever get a chance, I've been to D.C. a few times. I don't know when I'll be again. I used to travel there a bit. But if you're ever in Arizona, please, please, please come visit. And last thing, what's the name of your pastor? Because someone asked. Oh, Pastor Solomon. Pastor John Solomon. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Solomon. Yes, sir. Solomon, if you're all in the Delaware area, this is who you need to look up and go visit their church. And if you're there, give Nate a big old hug and say you saw him on TikTok. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Talk to Brother Nate. Hey, God bless you. I'll be praying for you. And you know I'm going to be on my head whenever you get here. So God bless you, brother. All right. Praise. Bill, there you go. I mean, here, you know, we take this technology, you know, TikTok, and I can speak to a brother over there in Delaware. I never got a chance to meet him in person, but we're able to talk. And this is the beautiful thing about this technology. I know a lot of us miss this technology. And I'm older. I mean, I got JT right there, Jim Taylor, who is our computer guy at the church now. He amazes me of all the information he knows on computers and technology and so on, et cetera. However, we can use this technology to progress the gospel. So now I just made a connection with a brother right there, and praise be to God. And that's what each one of you, there's a connection that we're using. So let's get back to this glorification, to glorify. Someone asked me, are we commanded to glorify God? And we'll look up that again in Webster's Dictionary. It says to glorify, I mean to give glory, honor, high praise, or exalt. To give glory, shouldn't we want to honor, give God all the praise, to lift him up, to exalt him? For the mere fact that I woke up this morning is worthy of this praise. That he watched over me as I slept last night. That I have reasonable health. I'm in my right mind. And in that, I give honor and praise to God. But however, I don't want to just give praise to God when things are good. Let me put this away. I don't want to give God all the praise when I've got a little money in my account. I don't want to give God all the praise when the job is just right or the relationship's on point. But I want to give the Lord praise at all times. Let me give you a small testimony. I've been asking you all to pray for me. I told you I was consulting for a company. And they called me up. Matter of fact, I've got a call with them at 9 o'clock today with the CEO of the company. And oh, wait a minute, wait a minute. Hannah is out of surgery. Thank you, God. Father God, we thank you. Regards to Hannah. Father, we thank you. We pray for a speedy recovery and blessings. And we thank you, Lord. We give you all the praise and all the honor. We're lifting God up. We're glorifying. We're exalting him for what happened with Hannah. And I'm sorry I missed that earlier. But here we go. And so I'm going to have a call today with the CEO of that company just to talk to them about some of my how I was disappointed with regards to the direction they went. However, I've been asking y'all to pray for me. I just want to get a simple gig that is close. I told y'all Ace Hardware over here on Higley, not too far from my house. I think I probably could be from door to floor within five minutes. And yesterday, out of nowhere, they gave me a call, said, hey, can you come in for an interview at 10 o'clock? Now, I believe God will provide the job. And I know that God wants me and all of us to work. So now God is going to open up that door. I don't want anything that's going to take a lot of my time. I don't want to be jumping in planes. I don't want to be lecturing to physicians. I don't want to do that. I know some people say, well, you know, your level of finance or education. No, I just want to do something simple. But my point is I'm going to give glory to God. Because why? He opened up this door. I'm going to exalt him. I'm going to give him high praise. Why? Because God has blessed me with that. And you said, well, fast forward, you haven't even got the job yet. I'm going to thank God. And what happened yesterday, a friend of mine named Frank gave me a call. He said, hey, man, I'm sorry about the consulting. Do you need anything? And this and that. And so on and so forth. And I said, brother, my faith is there. I believe God is able. He said, I wish I had that kind of faith. And I go, you do have that kind of faith. But you've got to remember, faith, of course, besides if I must receive, has to be applied always. And it really has to be applied as you are faced with your own personal things. So with my friend Frank, he went through a divorce, but praise be to God, he's a wonderful father. He's a wonderful employee. He's a fireman. He helps people. But he has faith in God when most people going through that type of a divorce would have fell by the wayside, maybe turned to drugs or alcohol or whatever the case may be, abandoned their family. But not him. It was his faith that carried him through. So I encouraged him, don't lift me up, you know, because I'm going through a season right now. But you have the same kind of faith, but your circumstances were different from my circumstances. But in that, I'm going to glorify. Turn your Bibles to 1 Chronicles, and we will be the King James, because the flow must be beautiful. We will. Thank you, brother Nate. Thank you so much. 1 Chronicles 1628, glorifying God, lifting him up, exalting him, giving him high praise, giving him all the praise. Watch this. 1 Chronicles 1628, 1 Chronicles and strength. Give unto the Lord. That's a command. That's imperative. Give unto the Lord. Exalt him. Praise him. Lift him up. Thank him. All of you. I want you real quick to post on here what are you thankful for that you know you should be giving God all the glory for? Anybody. Shoot them out. Shoot them out real quick. What can you honor God for this morning? How do you glorify God this morning? What is taking place in your life? Please help me pray to declare my mom's hospital. Amen. My salvation. Amen. For another day. My health. My life. My health. My life. Look at this. It's going. Some of you, a lot of you know that there should have been a moment that you shouldn't be here, but God spared you for grace, for help. Amen. Look at this. Thank you for God's grace that he woke me up today. My son. Oh my, my, my. Waking up. Good morning. Desire to study his word. My health. See, these are things that we take for granted. Why? Because some people are in the hospital bed right now fighting for their life. Some people right now are in a hospice position fighting to live another day. And we who woke up, we got out of bed. We went and did our thing, brushed our teeth, got our cup of coffee. And sometimes we take that for granted. But we should exalt God. We should lift him up. We should honor him and say, Lord, thank you for allowing me to see another day. But watch this. Watch this. Watch this. Even if I didn't wake up, I have Jesus and I know where I will be because the Bible says we're out of the body in the presence of the Lord. I'm not fearful either way. But when I do wake up, you know what that means? God has given me another opportunity to share the good news. God has given me another opportunity to do right by him with regards to living for him. All right? Psalm 22, 23. Glorifying God as commanded. Lifting him up. Exalting him. Honoring him. Psalms 22, 23. Now, fear. That means a reverence. It means a reverence. Not fear like I'm so full of fear and scare that I'm, you know, dealing with paralysis. I can't move. Not that kind of fear. But a fear that means reverence. He says, He that feared the Lord, praise him, all ye the seed of Jacob. Glorify him, fear him, all ye the seed of Israel. Joshua, good morning, sir. It's good to see you. Good to see you. Joshua, our gifted artist. Oh, man. This kid is blessed. He should be giving God all the praise and all the glory. And he does. And he does. Don't let me think he doesn't. But he gives God all the praise and all the glory for his ability to create art. Amen. But once again, we say, He that feared the Lord, praise him, all ye the seed of Jacob. Glorify him, and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel. Lifting God up, honor Him, exalting Him, and praising Him. Even when you don't feel like it. Even, like I said, when things aren't on your way. We should continuously lift up God. And you know what? Let me tell you something beautiful. There's a lady in our church. She's a relative. She's on my father's side. Her name is Sister Jessie Vaughn. And Sister Jessie Vaughn just went through a bout of cancer. But I know Sister Jessie. And I know how she acts. And there's a boldness in her spirit. But I can bet your bottom dollar. And I don't know. She didn't tell me this. But I bet you your bottom dollar that when the doctors announced that she had cancer and she was going to have to experience some intense treatment, you know what she probably did? Put her hand up in the sky and said, I give honor and praise and glory to God for He is able to heal me. I know that. She didn't tell me that. But I know her spirit. She would continuously. I know that she would continuously do that in front of the nurses, the physicians, the technicians. I will guarantee you at the worst news that she ever received probably in her whole life, she gave honor and glory to God. See that? You're going to get me through this. If you brought me to the fire, it's probably to get me on fire. And I'm going to give you praise. And you know what? Satan doesn't want you to do that. You know what Satan wants you to do? Satan wants you to cower down. Satan wants you to be consumed with the circumstance and the situation. He wants you to your spirit. He will speak into your heart that you, where's your victory? Why is God allowing you to do this? Why is God allowing you to go through this? If He really loved you, He wouldn't allow you to have this cancer. If He really loved you, He wouldn't allow your marriage to fall apart. If He really loved you, you would be talking to your kids. But you know what? You've got to say, Satan, get behind me. God, I'm going to give you the praise. I'm going to give you the honor because I know you are able to restore. I know you are able to heal. I know you're able to do whatever it is that you want to do, God, because you are a God. And you have to do that. And I guarantee you, Jessie, Sister Jessie, I want to honor my elder. But Sister Jessie, I guarantee you when she got that reported cancer, the last thing that the doctor heard out of her mouth is, my God is able. But, but, in her case, not all the time. So let's not get on that bandwagon that if we do call upon the name of God, that somehow He's going to do it our way. But in her case, she said at the end of each point, and I know this, that your will be done. Guess what? God healed her, and she does not have cancer. It doesn't happen like that all the time. Sometimes people die that love the Lord. Sometimes people die that give honor to God. Some people die, and they prayed, and they brought the saints with them, and God has taken them. Why? Because God is sovereign. And God does His will, not our will. But in her case, God blessed her and restored her health. Back to the subject. Are we commanded to glorify God and give Him glory? Let's turn our Bibles to Isaiah 42.12. Isaiah 42.12. Let them give glory unto the Lord and declare His praise in the islands. Watch this. Say it again. Let them give glory unto the Lord and declare His praise in the islands. Meaning, let's give glory and praise. That's bottom line, guys. Now, is it due Him? Let's turn our Bibles to 1 Chronicles 16.29. Is it due to Him? Him meaning Jesus, God Almighty. Is our praise duty Him? Do we need to? Look at 1 Chronicles 16.29. Give unto the Lord the glory due unto His name. Oh, y'all quote that verse, at the name of Jesus. What does it say? Every knee shall bow. Every tongue shall confess. Think about it. For me to get forgiveness, someone had to go to the cross. I'm going to give them praise. For me to receive forgiveness. There was a substitute. I should have went to the cross. Why? Because I'm a sinner. But who went in my place? Jesus went for me. Do you understand what I'm saying? Now, though, I decreased so that God, Jesus, increased. So what? Jesus lives within me. We can see that in Galatians. Jesus lives within me. So what? I can be delivered. Delivered from what? The sin. And my sin nature. I've been forgiven. Now I'm being delivered. Now watch this as we read this again. Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name. Bring an offering and come before Him. Worship the Lord in beauty of holiness. Holiness. Holiness. Meaning we are consecrated. We are a holy people. Holy nation. We are consecrated. This is why we are called the saints. We are holy. Watch this. Glorifying for His glory. Watch it. Now it says, Exalt the Lord our God and worship at His holy hill. For the Lord our God is holy. He's holy. You know, and y'all, even me. Even me. When I first started preaching, I was so dogmatic about being relaxed. Because I would see my father in the suit, my mom in the dress, this and that, so on, et cetera. But you know what? I misinterpreted their motives. See, they revere God as holy. Even in the church, I remember the pulpit. My dad's like, you don't go in that pulpit. Why? Because he believed that those grounds with emphasis on that pulpit was holy. I was too judgmental. See, the problem in America today and across the world, we don't reverence God like we should. We don't consider Him holy. We've gotten to the point where we treat God as, and don't take this out of context when I say it, but we treat God as our best bud, as our high-five friend, as our man cave attendee, as our friend. And don't get me wrong. He is our friend. He is God, but He is holy. And when we say holy, there's no imperfection in Him. He's God. He's perfect. He's the exemplification of perfection. He's holy. He's pure. Even when Moses pleaded to look upon Him, God said, you cannot look upon my face and live. What did God say? That you would have to see the entrails or the back of me. And when Moses looked upon Him, the holiness, His glory, it just illuminated Moses' face. Even when the people said, hide your face because of God's glory. He's purity. He's holy. Look at Revelation 15.4. Who shall not fear Thee, O Lord, and glorify Thy name? For Thou only art holy. For all the nations shall come and worship before You, for Thou judgments are made manifest. Have you ever read in Revelations that in the presence of God and in the kingdom of God, there will be no sun? Has anybody read that? There will not be a sun, S-U-N. Think about it. I read that, but no sun. Then where would the light come from? From the glory of God, the illumination of God. God's radiant glory will illuminate the whole world. Think about it. His glory, we won't need the S-U-N, S-O-N. And His glory will illuminate the whole world. His glory. God is light. His glory. That alone, right there Joshua, I agree. That alone to me is amazing. It's amazing. Watch this. Mercy and truth. Psalms 115.1. Once again, we're staying on that glory. Staying on that glory. Mercy and truth. Psalms 115.1. Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto Thou name give glory. For Thou mercy and for Thou truth's sake. Why do we give glory to God? For His mercy and the truth. His truth. His mercy. We talked about mercy. Mercy means not receiving what we deserve. You and I are sinners. We deserve death. But Jesus stepped in and chose you and I that we shall be saved. And our names are written in the book of life. He showed mercy on us. And then He gives us truth. I say it again and I'll keep saying it. Paul says, sanctify them. Sanctify them with Thou truth. What? For Thou word is truth. What did Jesus say? I'm the word, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but by me. There's only one truth. Thank you. Thank you so much. There's only one truth. It's God's truth. It amazes me when people say, my truth. I've got my truth. They were talking their truth. Now, they might be speaking about the events that took place in a certain time or the events that took place in a car accident or whatever the case may be. But there is only one truth. And we should glorify God. What? For His mercy and for His truth. Look at Romans. Let's look at Romans 15.9. Romans 15.9 says, And the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy. As it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles and sing unto thou name. We should glorify God. We should exalt. We should honor. We should praise. When things aren't good and when things are great, we should praise and exalt God. We should exalt God for His faithfulness and truth. Look at Isaiah 25.1. We should exalt God. We should glorify God for His faithfulness and His truth. Do you know God changes not? Let me share something before I read this verse. Man continuously changes. And when I mean man, I mean humanity. So let's use humanity. Humanity changes. We change our opinions. We change our attitudes. We change in culture. We change in ideologies. We continuously change. But the Scripture is quite clear that the Lord changes not. Our ideologies, we change a lot. Let me prove it. We've got people walking around here confused about their gender. Folks, I'll be 60 years old in five days and guarantee you me, 20 years ago, I didn't hear anybody walking around confused on a public stage or on a global stage. I didn't hear anybody confused about their gender. Now, there were some people that were doing that stuff, but you didn't see them like now. Now, you've got commercials. You've got TV shows. You've got confused about the gender. And we, the onlookers, are like, well, if they say that, that narrative must be true. But God changes not. So we need to glorify God. Why? For His faithfulness and truth. We should glorify God for His faithfulness and truth because He changes not. Man changes. God does not change. Watch this on Isaiah 25. Oh, Lord, Thou art my God. I will exalt You. Once again, glorify that exalt. I will exalt You. I will praise Thou and truth. Do you know God can't be persuaded by government? Do you know God cannot be persuaded by wealth? Do you know God cannot be persuaded by world organizations that come together to try to set an agenda or a narrative? God cannot be persuaded for He is God. And we should lift Him up and exalt Him in His faithfulness and in His truth. Even myself. There are things from 20 years old to 60 years old that I've changed my mind about. But God has not changed. I read it again. Oh, Lord, Thou art my God. I will exalt You. I will praise Thou name for Thou has done wonderful things. Thou counsel of old are faithful and true. Thou counsel of old. What does that mean? You know one of my favorite names for the Lord? I love this name. I love it. And somebody tell me what the verse is. You know I need help. Pastor Paul is the man. Amen. I'm a man of God. Watch this. Ancient of Days. I love that verse. Ancient of Days. Somebody tell me where that verse is at. Is it in the book of Isaiah? Ancient of Days. That is the title of all titles. Give me that verse. Where's that at? Ancient of Days. Where's that at? Somebody. Ancient of Days. Where's that at? He is the Ancient of Days. Watch this. Let's see who's the first one he gives me. I know who uses the first one. He gave me that. It says Ancient of Days. And it's going to have to be King James, I'm pretty sure. I'm sure it's any other version, but I know for sure it's in King James. Where is it? Ancient of Days. Wow, that's the truth. Ancient of Days. Somebody give me that. Where's that at? Ancient of Days. Somebody give me that address, that verse. Pastor Paul, I caught that five days, Daniel 7-9. Uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh. I caught that. Amen. Amen. Look at this. Look at 7-9 says. Oh, I hope it is. I'm in the NASB. Watch this. What did we say that one again? 7-22? Let's look what 7-22 says. Let me get there. 7-22, and it says, Until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was passed in favor of the saints of the highest one, and the time arrived when the saints took possession of the kingdom. Now notice that. Ancient of Days is capitalized, uppercase A. Ancient of Days. Isn't that beautiful? That is my favorite title of God. Wait a minute. Hang on, Isaiah 43-13. Let me go there before I move on. Isaiah 43-13. Come on. Oh, my, my, my, my, my. 43-13. What does it say? Even from the eternity, I am he, and there is none who can deliver me out of my hand. I act, and who can reverse it? Amen. I love it. So, we should glorify that he's faithful and he's true. Let's go to Matthew 15-31. We're going to talk more about the Ancient of Days. Ancient of Days. And you know what? You know the Trinity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. If we say Ancient of Days for God, that means Jesus. You know, because before Abraham was, Jesus was. All right? Remember, we talked the other day about those three individuals walking in the desert talking to Abraham, and Abraham entertaining angels. We looked at it in the book of Hebrews about entertaining angels, but we know that one of them, he bowed down before him. He called him Lord, and I think that was Jesus. But let's go back all the way to Genesis, and we say that Adam and Eve, but somebody, not somebody, but the Ancient of Days was walking through the Garden of Eden, and he was looking for Adam and Eve, and they hid. Who was that? I think that was the pre-incarnated Jesus Christ, the Ancient of Days. Matthew 20, 15-31, And so much that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the mane to behold, the lame to walk, the blind to see, and they glorified the God of Israel. We should glorify God for his wondrous works. There are some of you right now that have experienced God's wonderful works. Some of you have experienced a healing, restoration. Some of you have been healed from addictions, afflictions. And we should just glorify God, but we don't always. We don't need such a dramatic reason to praise him. Like I said, just to wake up this morning, I give him all the praise. Just to see another day, I give him all the honor. Let's go to Acts 4-21. Once again, looking at why we should give him glory. And we looked at it in the dictionary. To glorify God, to honor, to exalt him, to lift him up, to give him the high praise. He demands it. He's worthy of that. And don't be like a temperamental child or stubborn child. I'm not going to praise God. Why does he want my praise? He's worthy of our praise. But let's simplify it. And I know your mom has taught you this. Watch this. This is aerial imagery. This is common sense. I know, JT, you're going to say common sense is not so common. You are probably very right. But what does your mom always tell you to do when somebody gave you something? Somebody gave you a gift. What is the first thing your mom has told you to do? If someone gave you a gift. Somebody respond to that for me, please. Come on. And we don't need to have a supernatural experience to give him praise. Amen. He deserves it either way. Give thanks. Look it right there. I'll tell him to give thanks. Thank you. Give thanks. Say thank you. Even in our human-to-human contact, our human-to-human customs, we say thank you. We say thank you. When someone says here, thank you. And you know what I learned from my father, not my heavenly father, my earthly father? When people would bless my father, they would bring him maybe a lemon cake or sweet potato pie. He would light up as if they handed him a bazillion dollars. Oh, you know why? Because they took the time. They took the effort. And they thought about him. To make this cake from him and my mom. And he was so thankful. He took the time. He knows you by name. He knew you from your mother's womb. He's aware of the footsteps of your life. He knows every hair on your head. Even when you don't have a lot of hair, he knows every hair on your head. He numbers them. Shouldn't we say thank you? Acts 4.21 is wondrous works. So when they have further threatened them, they let them go finding nothing how they might punish them because of the people. For all men glorify God for what was done. Once again, the example, they were going through some hostile situation. But they glorified God. And they honored God. They praised God. I like what Lamb said there. We don't need to have everything on our way to praise God. We don't need to have a miraculous miracle take place. We should just thank God and praise God. Even when I talk to the CEO of this company at 9 o'clock, I'm going to thank God. And what I'm going to do in the process while I do speak my opinions with regards to the direction they are going now and leaving me out of the loop. I'm going to speak my opinion. But I'm going to give honor to God and I'm going to thank that CEO. I'm going to go, I want to thank you for the opportunity for allowing me to consult with your company. I pray to God that you guys do the best that you can to bring this device to the community. But what am I doing? I'm glorifying God. Because guess what? It was God that brought me the job. When I get done with the interview, I'm going to shake the man's hand. I want to say thank you for this interview. I appreciate you. I look forward to working with you. When do you want me to start? May God get all the praise. You see what I'm saying? Let's always give God the praise and honor. All right? We should glorify God in judgment. Isaiah 25.3. Therefore, shall the strong people glorify you. The city of the terrible nations shall fear you. Once again, we should, as people, we should glorify God. Therefore, Isaiah 25.3. Therefore, shall the strong people glorify you. I think the only way to be strong is those that give God glory. To make it through the things that we are dealing with, we must give God glory. And folks, I've said this a thousand times and you'll hear it a thousand times more. I've been in the medical field since the mid-80s. I have been in rooms of people that were believers and I've been in rooms of people that weren't believers. So some were and some weren't. And I can guarantee you, the rooms that were born-again believers and coveted with Jesus Christ, you could see that they gave glory to God even though their circumstances were bleak. But you know what else I saw? They were strong. Oh, did y'all get that? Did that slip by you? See, don't mistake strong with a fortified building or a fortified sense of barrier or wealth or fame or fortune. I mean strong in spirit. I mean strong knowing that God has got me. When I was a kid, I used to watch the old saints in our church. It didn't mean much at the time, but as I look back, it means a lot. But when I was a kid in the 60s, most of the members of the church were people that had labor's jobs. Most of the people in our church, it was predominantly a black church at that time, and most of the people were either maids, they were bellhops or butlers. They were in service-oriented jobs, the jobs that, at that time, only black folks could get unless they had education or opportunity, but these were the jobs they got. But you know what's so incredible? Those are some of the most powerful people. Why? Because they gave glory to God. They wouldn't complain. They would say, I thank God that I got this job. I'm thinking of one off the top of my head, a gentleman named Deacon Wesley. Deacon Wesley was in his mid-80s. He worked for Salt River Project for, by God, probably 30-plus years. Deacon Wesley's strong. He's been blessed. I know another gentleman named Brother Sumter. Brother Sumter was the local garbage man here in Phoenix, went from house to house picking up trash. Brother Sumter's health is not too good, but he's strong. We'll lift God up. The strong honors God. And that, in itself, makes them strong. It's not their might, it's His might. Let's go to Ezekiel 28-22. Ezekiel 28-22, And saying, Thus saith the Lord, God, behold, I am against you, O Zedon, and I will be glorified, and shall be sanctified in her. So we see here that Jesus, God is commanding, you will exalt me. And I will judge you. Because why? God is worthy of our praise. He's worthy to be exalted. He's worthy to be lifted up. Revelation 14-7. Revelation 14-7, saying with a loud voice, Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment is come. And worship Him that made heaven and earth and the sea and the fountains and the waters. Why? Because judgment of God is coming. Let us give Him glory. Let's give Him praise. Let's exalt Him. And I tell you what, I don't know about y'all. I don't know about y'all. But Jesus is coming soon. Are you ready? Let's glorify God because of His deliverance. Let's glorify God because remember, on the cross, He was a substitute that I may be forgiven. But remember in life, after I'm forgiven, He is within me so that I may have deliverance. From day to day, a deliverance from the sin that's within me. Watch this. Let's give Him praise for this. Let's glorify Him. Psalms 50-15, 5-0-15, And call upon Me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and thou shalt glorify Me. Let me repeat that again. And call upon Me, the Lord is saying, Call upon Me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and thou shalt glorify Me. Think about that. In your day of trouble, how many of you have been in your day of trouble? And how many of you called upon the name of the Lord, and He has delivered you? Now, I'm not saying He did it the way you wanted it, but He did it. And then on top of that, as you look back, you say, I can't give glory to anyone else but God. Why? And call upon Me in your day of trouble, and I will deliver you, and thou shalt glorify Me. Watch this. Watch this. Glorify God for His grace to others. Acts 11-18, When they heard these things, they held their peace and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life? Glorify God when He does things for others. They're making a statement there. When they heard these things, they held their peace and glorified God. Why? Saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life? They were excited because God offered repentance unto the Gentiles, the non-Jews. The point is, glorify God when you see someone else get their blessing. Glorify God when you see someone else get the eye. Why is that important? Sometimes we don't want to see someone move ahead. Sometimes we don't want to see somebody get a blessing. Not all of you. I'm not saying all of you. But sometimes, how about you young folks today? Sometimes you've got some folks that are haters. But no, we as Christians? No. When we hear God doing something in someone's life and we see the blessing that is taken over in their life, we should give honor to God and praise. Let me give you an example. My wife had a brother who was in and out of incarceration. He was just one of those guys that seemed like anywhere he was at, he was a magnet to trouble. And God really touched me one day. I remember I gave up on my wife's brother. And he finally got out of this incarceration and was living his life. And I remember to some degree in my intellect, notice what I said in my intellect, not saying smart, but in my thinking. I said, yeah, we'll see how long this lasts. Wait a minute. When they heard these things in Acts 11, 18, when they heard these things, they held their peace and glorified God. They held their peace, they shut up, but what did they do? They glorified God. See, I should have shut my mouth. I shouldn't have thought that way. And all I should have did was glorify God that God was going to change his life. That's what I should have did. But what was I doing? We'll see how long this lasts. While God was doing something in his life, I should have been giving God all the glory that God was about to do something in his life. Well, let me give you the update. That's been years ago, and he hasn't been incarcerated since. As a matter of fact, he's in the process of about to buy a house. He works three jobs, and trust you me, God has blessed him. Is he serving God where I think he should be? No, but I'll always be quick, and my wife is quicker, to remind him of God's grace and his mercy. But let us always look for that opportunity to show God and give God the glory when someone else is being blessed, when someone else is being delivered. Let's do that. Let's not tear him down. Let's not say, well, that's what you always have been. No. God is doing a new thing in your life. 2 Corinthians 9.13. 2 Corinthians 9.13. 2 Corinthians 9.13. Whiles by the experiment of menstruation, they glorified God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them and unto all the men. Once again, the author here is commending those in the church with regards to administering the gospel. He says, I glorify God for your professed subjection that you've submitted to God. I glorify God that God is using you to progress the gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ. He's excited. Paul is excited and he's saying, man, I give God all the glory and all the praise because why, Paul realized that if it wasn't for God, this wouldn't be happening. Obligation of the saints to glorify. Watch this. 1 Corinthians 6.20 says, for you were bought with a price. 1 Corinthians 6.20. For you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. Now, that right there, in your spirit, that's not an uppercase S, that's a lowercase S. That's the seat. Of logic and spirit and soul. He's saying in my body and soul that we should give glory to God. Why? Because we were bought with a price. What was that price? Somebody give me, what was the price? Or I should say, what bought us? What was used to deliver us from sin? Can anybody? What was it that delivered Jesus? In particular, what was in Jesus that delivered us from the sins? What did God demand? Jesus. Amen. But what is it? The cross. Give me a little bit more. Let me give you a hint. The blood. For the life of the flesh, I think it says Leviticus, for the life of the flesh is in the blood. See, in the Old Testament, especially if you look at Leviticus, it would take, you know, the blood of the animals. And the animals were, the sins of the nation were placed on the animals, but the blood was put on the altar. They were the substitute. The high priest would go in there and he would sprinkle that blood on the mercy seat. That blood was for atonement. The high priest would do that. He would be consecrated. But in this case, Jesus became our high priest. And he didn't take the blood of a ram. He didn't take the blood of a a lamb. But he took his blood. His blood. For the atonement, for the covering of our sins. He became our high priest. And once and for all, it's finished. For you were bought with a price. That price was the blood of Jesus. He was the substitution for you and I. And died for you and I. There's a song we sing in the baptist church. I know it was blood. I know it was the blood. I know it was the blood for me. One day when I was lost. Look that song up. But it was the blood. Grace came through Jesus. We need to lift the Lord up. We need to glorify him. We need to glorify the spirit. Which are Christ. Glorification is accepted through Christ. Philippians 1.11 Philippians 1.11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness. Which are by Jesus Christ unto the glory and praise of God. It is acceptable through Christ. It's because through Christ we're able to glorify God. It is through Christ that you are able to call upon the name of Jesus. It is through Christ that you can boldly go before the throne of grace. It is through Christ and none other. This is why I tell people I don't get this. There are people that will reach out to me and say Jesus was just a prophet. He fulfilled the role as a prophet. He fulfilled the role as a priest. He fulfilled the role as a king. But he's more than a prophet. But then when they say that and they say well he was just a prophet. I said I find it very interesting that I don't see your religious binder the founder of your religion in the Bible. But you speak about the founder of my belief in your book. I don't know who I'm talking about. I find it very interesting that the founder of your religion is not mentioned in my Bible. But the founder in my faith is mentioned in your book. That should tell somebody a lot. If you know what I mean. We were bought for a price. And it is acceptable through Christ. 1 Peter 4.11 1 Peter 4.11 If any man speak let him speak as the oracles of God. If any man ministers let him do it as if of the ability which God giveth that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ to whom be the praise and dominion forever and ever. Amen. If any man speak let him speak as the oracles of God. If any man ministers let him do it as of the ability which God giveth that God in all things may glorify through Jesus Christ to whom be the praise and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Once again, those of you who just got on somebody asked me, are we commanded to glorify God? And I think we've looked at a number of verses that says we are commanded to glorify God and we glorify Him because He's worthy of our honor. He's worthy of our praise. He's worthy of us to insult Him. And we should do that. Continuously. Last verse. Christ gave us an example. John 17.4 Jesus if Jesus did and I think we need two jugs I have finished the work which thou has given me to do. The Bible is quite clear that we are to be imitators of Christ. And if we are to be imitators of Christ we better have the mind of Christ. If that is the case, John 17.4 and I repeat Jesus says I have glorified thee on earth. He's speaking to the Father. I have glorified thee on earth. I have finished the work which thou has given me to do. Each one of you in the process between the day you came into this world until the day you left the process in the process glorify God. Jesus did it. Glorify God when things aren't good. Good. Glorify God when things are great. Glorify God even when you don't feel like it. We said yesterday feelings are not a part of the equation here because sometimes my stomach I did not feel like getting on yesterday and I didn't feel like getting on today but it wasn't about my feelings. It was about glorifying God. So in the process exalt Him praise Him honor Him, lift Him up and don't be shy about it. Let people know where your health comes from. Let folks know the only reason I got through this was by I've got a car or my health or my finances or my spouse or my children whatever that, my education, whatever that is, make sure you give glory and honor to God. What is my example? Anytime one gives me a compliment I think I get all the glory. Not me. Because there's nothing good about me. Nothing. Trust me, I know. But if you see anything good that's from my creator. My favorite title of him that's from the ancient of days my God, my Father. Amen. Once again, thanks for your prayers everybody. Like I said, Ace Hardware gave a shout. I wish that I was in a situation where I could stay and do Bible and study but you know what? I've told you before, I've got to do something to take care of me and Miss Debbie so thank you for your prayers. Also, I want to put out there and I'm the slowpoke in this process and Joshua, I'm going to be meeting you pretty soon for some graphic stuff. However, Mr. Jim Taylor, you'll see him go by. And I'm sure this is going to be a part of it. Are you still there? I'm going to ask a question real quick. Jim, are you still there? This is our computer whiz kid for the church now. Let's go! Let's go! Jim, are you still there? Jim Taylor? I'm going to talk out of turn if you don't show up here real quick. I'm going to give it three more seconds. 1001, 1002, 1003. I am. And a real kid. Alright, so Jim right there, you'll see him. JT, Jim Taylor. Number one, I want you to follow him. Number two, he's doing our computer system. Now, Jim, correct me if I'm speaking out of turn, Jim is setting up a e-book and so what we're going to be doing is Jim is going to be recording these and this is going to be transferable into an electronic book. As Jim's teaching me this technology, I'm going to also be doing some other things. I don't want to call it devotional, but I'm going to call it, you know, the daily quote of the day from Pastor Paul. I'm also going to do an e-book. I'd like to do an e-book on my adoption and how God revealed to me that my adoption was not a weight, but a blessing. And there's a list of other things that I'm going to collaborate with. I call him JT, but his name is Jim Taylor. I'm going to collaborate with Jim Taylor. YouTube will be coming down the pipeline and all that cool stuff. However, I'm now in this position where Jim said God has led him to really help us and he's already got a website getting together. He's waiting on me to do my part. There's some things I need to get done to get to him so that we can do it. But my point in telling you all that is that what we're going to do is we're going to ask y'all to partner with us. That means, you know, there'll be an amount, maybe you want to donate, you know, be a collective partner monthly. You donate if it's a dollar, five dollars, ten dollars, whatever, and you'll receive one of these e-books. And one of these things will be from me and Paul here or whatever the case may be. And you can use those and you can partner with us. That, in turn, will help support the ministry. Now, what is my objective and I hope? Well, I hope that it does so well that I can focus on full-time ministry. However, I'm not going to, I'm going to do the possible. I'm going to go crush this interview with Ace and I'm going to put on my little red vest and if anybody ever comes to Ace, I'll be saying, welcome to Ace, how may I help you? But until then, if God will allow y'all to partner with us, and as you go on the website, it's not up to me yet, so don't look just yet, but it will be. It will be soon. Jim is on that. It's not up to me now. It's up to Jim. And that, Joshua, that's when we come in. We're going to try to snag your, we need your full-time ministry. Amen. We're going to snag Joshua and get his graphic designing stuff in there involved too. However, the objective, like I said, if I can do full-time ministry and focus on ministry and grow the church and do what we need to do. Now, we did walk away from Corporate America three years ago, and it didn't work out the way I wanted to, but I came to a conclusion that if we can put something, and I look at R.C. Sproul, Piper, these guys provide something for people who are donating to the ministry. So, you figure, if 500 people donate a dollar, that's $500 that goes into the ministry that helps sustain the ministry. So, with that being said, guys, look for that. That'll be coming up. And, matter of fact, I believe, Jim, tell me if I'm correct, that this recording is going to be downloaded in that e-book. Am I correct? Probably today's teaching will be in whatchamacallit. Is that safe to say? Waiting on him again. Somebody asked me about, oh my lord, somebody asked me, thank you, thank you. There you go. That's the cash out. Yeah, that's it. So, Pastor Paul, do you have cash out, the Millennials offering bowl? Oh, golly gosh. Okay. Within 48 hours. Well, Jim, 48 hours, okay, praise God. Let's see, cash out. Is that what that is? Lamriel, you put it up there, right? Who put it up there? I never know what that thing is. Let me look on my phone. So, if you go to cash out, the Millennials offering bowl, that's hilarious. Oh, you guys are funny. But here's the thing, it's true. Yes, it's S-A-M-B-C, Southern Avenue Missionary Baptist Church, that's what that stands for, S-A-B-N-C, and then it says church. So, I don't know, can you guys see that? S-A-M-B-C, church. So, I said, S-A-M-B-C, Southern Avenue Missionary Baptist Church, and there you go. So, praise God. Oh, well, can we do the QR code like that, Jim? Okay, that's the QR code. Will that work? Can you do it like that, Jim? Can you guys see that okay? That's the QR code. Does that work backwards? Do I need to back up? I don't know. Okay, I'm going to hold it up there for about three more seconds. 1,001, 1,002, 1,003. All right, Millennials. Oh, what happened there? Okay. There you go, Millennials, love you. Scan it. Okay, well, there you go, that's it. But, guys, I want to thank you. I want to thank you for your prayers. Thank you so much. I'm excited. Once again, keep us hooked up in prayer as we go over there to ACE. Keep that list up in prayer. I'm excited about this. You're all excited. I'm like, you know, when the last time, historically, I've been in suits and ties and scrubs, this and that, jumping on planes with my bag and this and that. This is going to be like getting dirty, nuts and bolts, wires. I'm excited. I pray that ACE will allow me to get on board with them because I am excited about that. And a pair of jeans and tennis shoes and a button-down, man, I'll be like in a hog heaven. So, praise God. Good morning from San Francisco. Let's say some good mornings to everybody. Good morning. Mike from San Francisco. Good to see you this morning. Ms. Rosemary, I hope you got my message this morning. Calvary Chapel over there in Fairmont is a church that I would recommend. I love Calvary Chapel, so I sent that to you this morning. I sent you the website and Paul Mann-Abram. Oh, okay. We got a hello from Arkansas. We got Anaheim in here. Praise be to God. But the public has changed a lot and difficult to work with. Amen. M-O-A. Amen. But there's a ministry. All right? There's a ministry. The public has changed. They're difficult to work with, but I'm going to take my I Choose Love to the streets. I'm going to take it there. Because trust me, even and it doesn't matter what public you're using. They are hello from Fresno. My folks in Fresno. How are we doing? Oh, yes. The public has changed, but I'm taking that love to the streets. And so with that being said, pray for me because, oh, my, my, my. I'm very transparent with people, and they're rude, and I don't want to, you know, I want to represent AIDS the best I can. Look at that. You see how I'm talking like I already got the job already? Amen. Anyone not in the U.S. in here? Who's here from out of the U.S.? Oh, there's somebody from out of the U.S. right there. Elk Grove, California. I'm kidding. You know I love California. We got Atlanta, Georgia here. Love Atlanta. Got Elk Grove, California. Got Mississippi. You know, my dad grew up in Picayune, Mississippi. Pastor Paul can... Wait. Can I bring people down when I come to AZ? Yes. Now, though, when you come down, well, yeah, you can. Let's talk about it. You can, but remember I told you you could, you know, hang out in the camper, but I don't want to, you know, put them out. But we'll talk about it. Absolutely. We got Houston. Kinda. We got San Diego. Love San Diego. Let's see. We got... Is that... Atmore, Alabama. Never been there. Been to Alabama. Got Albuquerque, New Mexico. Miss Kim. Good to see you. Miss Kim, did we talk about Sadie's? Did we talk about Sadie's and you didn't like it? Was that you? New Bern, North Carolina. We got Southern Missouri. We got Detroit. We got San Antonio, Texas. The great state of Texas. The star state. You know I love Texas. Oh, we got Dallas. We got Dallas. Oh, we got Oklahoma. I know, I can't see. I get it. I know. Amen. South Dakota. Greenville, South Carolina. Florida. I haven't been to Greenville. No, but I go to Calvary Chapel in Albuquerque. Oh! What? Okay, back up. Miss Kim. Is that Pastor Skip? Is that Pastor Skip? Miss Kim? Hang on, I'm excited now. And I'll tell you why. Miss Kim, is that Pastor Skip? Phoenix, Arizona, J2. Yes. Okay. So, watch this Miss Kim. Are you ready for this? I was adopted. And I I'll get that. I was adopted. I learned I was adopted at 16 years old. And with that being said I ended up finding my biological mother Guess what? She married my biological father. Guess what? There were two kids older than me. I was in the middle. The three oldest, me being the youngest youngest of the three oldest we all got put up for adoption. Guess what? My two siblings, my brother and sister live in Albuquerque. They attend your church. And you're going to ask for their name. My brother's name is Tommy or Thomas Burke. Miss Kim. Now, good. I go to Albuquerque about a year and a half. But I go to Albuquerque all the time. I go and see them. They attend the church. And I was so excited that my brother has a relationship with the Lord. He looks just like me, but he's got tattoos up and down. Visit the church one day. That would be cool. But God saved you even after adoption. Yes. That's why I want to create that book talking about my adoption because in this e-book I want to explain to you all I was very bitter about being adopted. Very bitter. To the point that I joined the military. And I wanted to be a SEAL in the military knowing that number one, and I'll save it all for the book that if I became a SEAL I would die and who would care but I was doing something crazy cool. And I remember going I think I went once almost two years a year, a few months without talking to my parents. Because I was so bitter and so angry and so mad. But when I formulated a relationship with Jesus Christ and realized that we are all adopted into the body of Christ I just started crying. And my parents that raised me they were good people. Lambrielle, you remember my parents. They were older in age, but you remember them. Sister Coleman, I don't think you knew them. But anybody on here that has met my parents, they were beautiful people. Beautiful people. And so I was very truly, truly blessed to be adopted by them. Amen. Yes. Yes. Amen. Praise be to God. Alright. We'll save that for that e-book. Once again, to give one anybody an opportunity to download, to partner with this. Like I said, there will be if it's $1 a month or $5 a month or $10 a month to partner with this exchange, we will send you a book, an e-book, whatever it is. And Jim told me I have to put a variety of things up so that there's options. And so I will listen to his expertise on that. I get a little shy about that kind of stuff. However, that's what we will do. Alright. I got to get going. Everyone, God bless you. Have a great day. Lord willing, I'll see you tomorrow at 0630. I'll give you the results of what took place today. Man, thank you. Bless you guys and have a great day. Let me pray real quick. Father God, we thank you. We praise you. We honor you. We lift you up, Lord. I just thank you. I thank you for allowing me to be here. I thank you for giving me the health and strength. And Lord, I pray that you just bless those under the sound of my voice. That you would just watch over them. That you would keep them. Lord, once again, I thank you for blessing Hannah with a successful surgery. And Lord, all the prayers that might have been asked that I missed, Lord, you know, for your God. Lord, I pray blessings, restoration, healing, whatever it is, God, we pray that you would just bless each individual. And Lord, we thank you. We praise you. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus. Amen. Alright, everybody. God bless you. Gotta go get ready.
