Welcome or welcome back to the Custom-Made Jewelry Podcast where we talk about all things wedding. Today we're going to be talking about some top must-haves and things to do on your wedding day that some bride and grooms may forget. So keep listening to figure out what these are. Some may come as a surprise to you, but I hope you guys enjoy this episode. So here are some must-have things for your wedding, but before we begin, we all know that your wedding day will be one of the most special days of your life, but honestly, let's face it, it may also be one of the most stressful. All of the long months of planning and prepping and coordination and bridal parties has all come down to this one day. You may feel the extreme pressure of making sure and wanting everything to run super smoothly and to be absolutely perfect, but let's face it, something is bound to go wrong or so you think. So to help ease this fear of forgetting something, we've put together a list of things to do and things to bring leading up to and on your wedding day. Some may come as a shocking surprise to you. So the first thing that may be helpful to not only ease your nerves, but to stay organized is a checklist of personal things that you may need on your big day. So it's an excellent thing to have both visually and physically, whether you write that down on a piece of paper or in the notes app of your phone. It's nice to physically be able to cross things off and check things off as you please. An emergency kit. This is a huge, huge thing that may be important to you on your big day, but throwing together a kit of things like bobby pins, ponytails, makeup supplies you may need for the groomsmen, maybe also some safety pins, some fashion tape, just anything in case of emergency. You know, some gum, maybe one of your groomsmen has some smelly brows and you want to nonchalantly get rid of that. Maybe offer them a mint. This one is probably one of the most important. Remember to eat. It may sound silly, but with everything you have going on from the moment you get out of bed, from the time you lay your head on the pillow at night, you are going to be in so many different directions that you may not remember to eat. And not eating can obviously heighten your emotions, creating even more stress, so it's so important to plan out when you can squeeze in a quick five-minute break to eat something with a lot of protein that will help your energy throughout the day. You may also use this time as a de-stress moment. Leading up to your wedding day, you know, there's so many celebrations and things that it's really important to check in with yourself, both mentally and physically, and it's super important to your health. Give yourself a block of time, maybe while you're eating, like I said, to dedicate it to relaxing and stress-free activities. Maybe you do a quick yoga session in the morning before you start getting ready, or you meditate. Get a quick massage in before your wedding day. Even some beauty treatments, like getting your hair or nails done, may help you go into the day as zen, if you will, as possible.
