I am your host and today we're going to be discussing all things wedding necessities. And as we get further into the episode, we are going to be bringing on a wedding planner who is an expert in all things wedding where she is going to be talking about her personal necessities that she sees brides and grooms forgetting the day of their wedding. That kind of rhymes. But before we bring in our special host, here are a few tips and things that I would recommend bringing on your wedding day. So we all know weddings can be one of the most special memories of your life, but let's face it, they can also be the most stressful days of your whole entire life. All the planning and the preparation has come down to this very day and you may feel like things have to go perfect, but they don't and things are bound to go wrong in anything. So just keep that in mind when your wedding day rolls around, you know, not everything is perfect no matter how hard that you try. So one of the things that I would recommend doing is to bring a checklist of personal things that you absolutely can't forget. No matter what that is, write it down. Rather that be on paper or typing it quickly into the notes app of your phone, but to have something visually where you can write things down and cross things off will be a lifesaver. An emergency kit may also save your life by maybe keeping bobby pins, safety pins, any quick makeup touch-ups like powder, or maybe one of your groomsmen has smelly breath and you want to nonchalantly have them get rid of it. Just like, hey guys, here's some mints, like please take one before we start the ceremony just so there is no disgusting breath. No, but in all seriousness, just throw something into a little pouch or a ziplock baggie even and keep that on your side. Maybe give it to your maid of honor or your best man to hold on to and you're just like, hey, I need something out of that and quickly fix the issue that arises. So this is kind of a fun one, but maybe you and the bride and groom can sit down, you know, a few days before and plan out all of their favorite music and put them on a podcast to listen to while they're getting ready for the wedding. You know, maybe you can ask your bridal parties what their favorite songs are. Just add those feel-good songs to a playlist to get you hype and excited for your big day. Totally don't forget these loudest speakers you have though. So I know this may sound silly, but with everything you have going on throughout your wedding day and even before, you know, rehearsal dinners, all the family time, last minute planning, and other wedding festivities on the day of, make sure that you're eating. Remember, not eating can heighten emotions and create even more stress. So make sure to plan out at least maybe a quick five minutes to grab a quick bite to eat just so you're fueled and ready to take on your day. Remember to have fun. This is your wedding day. You've been planning it for forever. Make sure to take it all in. Soak up all the fun moments with your family and your future spouse and just enjoy it.
