Maurice and his guest, Reginae, discuss how they became friends in 2019 at a summer camp. They stayed in touch through social media until 2021 when they started meeting in person. I'm your host Maurice of course and today I have a very special guest with me in the building. She's one of my closest friends and we've been friends ever since 2019 and we've just been keeping in touch ever since. Please welcome my guest Reginae. What's up y'all. My name is Reginae. I am best friend of Maurice aka Tingle. Alright well thank you Re for agreeing to come on this podcast. I know I told you before like to not be nervous because I know when I approach you about you know coming on the podcast and like when someone says like oh it's gonna be recorded it can be very intimidating so just be yourself your personality is bright and y'all gonna get to know her a lot with this episode. Alright so like I said we've been friends ever since 2019. How about you tell the audience like how we first met and how our friendship just became what it is today. Okay well like you said we met in 2019 at Sherwood Forest Camp. He was a counselor, I was a counselor and some little ghetto stuff happened and I was like hey Maurice I'm gonna give you the tea. So I gave him the tea and he was like oh man when I first met you we gonna be tight. I'm like okay period and we became tight like that and ever since then we became best friends and I love him like a brother. Yeah that's true. She went way ahead. So we met like she said at this summer camp. We both are counselors and when I first met Re I was like who is this loud person like she was just like loud ghetto but like you could just tell she was authentically herself and I feel like that was what that was like what's gonna draw me more close to her and then that's when I found out like we were both in the same department and then we both was put in the same village so to work with the work in the same department and work with the same group of kids I was like I have to like I don't have to like the connection that we had I was like okay I need to talk to her and get to know her more and then after camp ended that was in 2019 at the camp and we really didn't like talk that much like in person or whatever we followed each other on like social medias and stuff so I saw what she was doing on her social she'll see me what I was doing on my socials but it wasn't until like 2021 when we got back like together start meeting in person doing things having fun just bringing back like that communication and stuff and ever since then we just like I said we've been talking ever since and she is truly like the life of the party anytime we go out she brings the fun all right so moving along with this podcast before we get into like deep topics or anything I love to like do would you rathers that just like lightens up the mood and it's just like a great conversation starter so I have a bowl right here full of different would you rather questions and I just want you to answer them to the best of your ability and then we could spark a little conversation based off of these all right so I'm gonna pull and then all right so would you rather watch a couple kiss oh sorry I'm just gonna say that these would you rathers can be a bit risque so if that's not you you don't gotta listen but I don't know I feel like we can spark a really great conversation based on these so would you rather watch a couple kiss for five minutes straight or watch a graphic sex scene with your parents I said watch a couple kids thanks for a little mood if you feel I'm saying you know especially with so man have you watching that you look like you so you insta PDA so like public really okay I'm not I would have rather I would do the same thing I watched the couple kids but it wouldn't be for that reason it would because like I don't I don't I cringe like I see sex happening with my parents so like growing up like if I was in the room with him we started a movie and we didn't know a sex scene was coming on I would literally get up like oh I gotta go to the bathroom I gotta go pee right where I get on my phone and try like I cringe you and I like have to watch sex scenes with like my family like with my friends always cool and like I'm cool with that like even oh my gosh yesterday so my grandma called me and she was taught telling me about you know the two kids that Hazel and Citrus that hope that that whole situation and she was wanted to like have a whole conversation with me about that no I told her I was like hey I'm gonna look it's a little awkward you know talking about this with you but yeah I would I would definitely rather watch the couple kids for five minutes she's nasty all right next question would you rather accidentally send a naughty pic a nude to your dad or to your boss my boss yeah well first okay well first of all my boss right now he's a male and he's about 55 years old so he probably look at it he probably jack up to so hey you never know if I give me a raise I definitely would say my boss as well and it kind of yeah I just would never send a pic to my dad because he'll have so many questions video a super old video for like this girl was she trying to have like FaceTime play with her boyfriend or whatever she mistakenly call her actual dad yeah and that was that was great she was a full lingerie and was ready to show whatever she had all right so next question would you rather are easy would you rather be famous or would you rather be rich that's a rich why would you ready to be rich I said rich I mean because I feel their lives are in light all the time if they do people are going to see it and we just bring you just rich my life to be like always on camera always on blast I do something it's always gonna be on blast if I fight I'm gonna be on blast that's a great point because when I originally like wrote this one down I didn't I didn't think about that perspective I actually said I'd rather be famous only reason I said famous because if I was famous I feel like a lot of opportunities will come my way yeah and then I can like accumulate and what people don't really know about me I actually like to work so I get to make my own money with all the opportunities but that's a great point I heard a lot of celebrities saying like it's not it's not it's not what it is or like it's not it when you have the cameras and like TMZ following you everywhere like you can't yeah I can have your privacy speaking of show your room I watched a tick-tock video the other day where Chloe and Halle or literally on Instagram live and then they said something and the shade room caught it like the shade room was watching their live and posted about them on live and they was like oh my gosh they're quick yes they are yeah so I don't know I'm still thinking being famous because I feel like a lot of opportunities and I can still accumulate my wealth but you have also like a really great point all right thank you brother would you rather travel everywhere for free or eat everywhere for free I definitely said travel as well because like I told you this already but like when I graduate college like I want to travel and when I think of travel that means room and like travel like transportation it's like this will be covered so we're not traveling and stuff I don't have to worry about that especially nowadays inflation everything is on the rise yeah taking away that I just pay for me I don't eat that expensive anyways to be honest like you take me to some local Popeye's and I'd be fine. I don't eat expensive sometimes. But you like steak and stuff. Yeah because I like steak with a lot of potatoes. You're very into like that serpent turd shit. That can be expensive too. Oh no it definitely can. All right quick question sorry would you ever do OnlyFans? Yeah. Would you? Yes but my OnlyFans would be like me and somebody else. I can't. I would do it myself. yeah okay I don't know because I feel like everybody has a price that is up I feel like everybody has a price and I don't know I've been contemplating like with somebody like when people say they making OnlyFans and stuff like there was literally a teacher St. Clair district here I don't know if you heard about this but a teacher in the St. Clair district she was a teacher by day and OnlyFans content creator by night and she was put on academic leave. This is a true story but yeah that's a true story and they put her on academic like administrative leave and everything. That's her life though. I mean they really can't judge her life. If kids do find out about that can be a problem. I mean they can't judge her lifestyle. That's her life. Right then and she actually said that and she said that she was making more money being a OnlyFans creator than being a teacher. She said like yeah she's gonna miss her students. You need one? I'm gonna need it. Oh no she said she was bringing in like eight to ten thousand a month or a month or was it like every two weeks something like that but she was bringing in a lot of money and she said that it was more than what she was getting paid to as a teacher. She said she's gonna miss her students but she wasn't like if they was like okay if they gave her ultimatum like okay you need to drop if you drop the OnlyFans you could become a teacher again. She said she would not do it because she said like OnlyFans has brought her in a nice it basically gave her financial stability versus being a teacher. So yeah all right next would you rather go without brushing your teeth or would you rather go without washing your body for a month? I'd say brush my teeth. You'd rather go without brushing your teeth? Really? Yeah. Why? Well okay it's different. I'm a female. Yeah. So I get periods and stuff. If I'm gonna wash my vagina or you know for a month, I'm just like fish, fish, fish, I'm gonna go to the fish market. They be like fish market walkin' by. You know that's so true. I agree. That's different from you. But no I agree though. I would rather go without brushing my teeth. You can wear a mask. You can go out there. Plus I know with me the first time I like start talking to somebody whether that's a relationship or friendship or I could just be walking and having like an organic conversation with somebody that's the first thing I look at is somebody's teeth. Yeah. So I wouldn't want to I don't want to just walk around with tar or a plaque on my teeth and have that funky breath because like you can like you said you can't mask bad breath but you can't mask bad teeth. No you really can't. Nope. But you can also mask body odor. Put on some cologne, some perfume. Yeah that's true. Like I don't know I would definitely rather do that. Would you ever start a dating profile? Like a dating app? Yeah I'm gonna get Tinder. Are you really? Talk more about it. What made you want to be on Tinder? No I'm like I don't know because like literally. FYI I work with a bunch of white people at TJ Friday's. I'm a bartender slash server. So I you know I work with a bunch. I'm not saying just white people. There's black people too. I'm kind of race. Yeah. More Mexican. Anyways and a lot of the girls I talk to they're like oh I met my boyfriend on Tinder. I met my boyfriend on Tinder. I'm like man why am I not on Tinder because I didn't even meet a man. Yeah. I am going to get a Tinder account if I get you know a man. I think you should. Because if there's a decent they should. Yeah. These people out here ain't nothing. I'm not just saying people. But like there a lot of men out here are just terrible. So therefore I'd rather see an online relationship you know or something like. Something that means somebody new would you know create a spark for me. Yeah I think you should do it. You should allow me to help you with that. Because also or ask Willie. Willie's really like fascinated with the idea of like creating dating apps like dating profiles for people. He wanted to do one for me and I told him no. I don't know. I cringe. I actually may do one. I don't know. I actually don't want to see your opinion on it. I actually may do one but Willie wanted to do that for me one time and he was like send me a whole bunch of pictures of yourself. And he's going to create me create me a dating profile. I think they did one for David and they say he got like four swipes. But yeah I don't know. I do feel like with this world and like the shift that everything is happening a lot of times you're not going to meet organically in person. So sometimes you don't never know where your person may be yet like your lifelong partner. It can be they can be in like another country. I always say that. That's how I think my partner is. So across the world. Do you really think that? Yes. I think my person is somewhere else. I mean like I can shoot my shot at somebody but then they do something I don't like. It's over. I ain't going to talk to them no more. So what's the point? I'm going to call Willie after this. I know I really miss Willie. One thing that you mentioned to me just recently was that you want to shift your just your life in a sense. And I'm very proud of her. Yeah. She had this week she had three job interviews and then next week she has one more interview and then she hears back from those other three jobs next week. So I'm really proud of you. What are you like? What are your goals, your dreams, your aspirations? Like if you see yourself doing something like what would that be? Well, first off, Bryce, I drink as much as I do. Yes, you drink a lot. I drink a lot. It's bad. Well, not bad. It's getting bad. I'll probably say eventually, like I said, once I start getting my income, my financial back up, how I need it to be, I think in the next year or so, I don't want to start back at school. I want to pursue my internship or something. I want to get a juvenile office so I can get into that kind of thing. You talk about that a lot. Yeah, that's where I want to get like my goal to get my career. I mean, I know my brother was in the system for like half his life growing up. So it's like I say help him a lot, but it helps him, you know, kind of straighten up. I can make a difference to people because I do it now. Yeah, that's good. The system is just jacked up in general. And I feel like having more people of color, having women. Yeah, people that care. Yeah, people that actually care for people to be, you know, working and stuff. I think that'd be great. Yeah, you have talked about that and you mentioned it a lot. Yep. Well, y'all, I hope y'all get like a glimpse of who Reginae is. Yeah, like I said, she is the life of the party, as I can tell. And maybe it's just her the way she speak and just her mannerisms.
