They then move on to discuss the Packers vs. Lions game, highlighting the Lions' dominant performance and Jordan Love's mistakes. They agree that the Lions are the team to beat in the division. They also touch on the Falcons vs. Jaguars game, pointing out Desmond Ritter's struggles and Jonathan Smith's performance. They debate whether Christian Kirk or Calvin Ridley should be the wide receiver one for the Jaguars. They conclude by discussing the Rams vs. Colts game, praising Anthony Richardson's performance, Pooka Nakua's impact, and the potential return of Jonathan Taylor. Alright, whenever you are ready, I'm going to remove my glasses. Alright. Ready when you are. 3, 2, 1. Welcome back to the Last Down Podcast, Episode 21. First in-season episode in person. I'm your boy Anguiano. I'm your boy Lopez. And before we really get into it, I just want to say that we were initially planning to have a Q&A today. Thanks to having 50 subscribers. But a lot of things were coming up for us in our personal lives, so we really couldn't get to it. So, next episode for sure, we will get to it. And next episode, we will for sure have some questions to answer. And I don't know if you want to start off with the games or if you have another thing to say. I do want to say that we reached 61 subscribers. We surpassed the 50 mark, which was the goal for the Q&A. But 61, man, I think I'm more grateful for that. In a matter of a week. Yeah, we've been jumping up, so that's another reason why we wanted to hold off to see between now and next week how much we can really get. But nevertheless, expect a video from us one of these days to talk about the Q&A. And with that, we'll start off with the Week 4 games. Just go straight into the reactions. First and foremost, I would like to start off with the Packers and the Lions since that was the first game of the week. Obviously, I don't know if you want me to take it over or if you want me to let you say anything. But I mean, you start off. Okay, I'll start it off. Detroit absolutely looked like the first place team in the NFC North. They started dominating the Packers early. Montgomery had three rushing touchdowns. Goff, besides that horrible pick, he just really settled in. Still had a very good day overall. And Love was starting to have a little bit of a moment in the second half. Had two total touchdowns still, but still had two costly picks. And with Christian Watson back, you know, Christian Watson didn't make that much of an impasse. Only had two catches, 25 yards. Had a touchdown, but overall, I'd say it was still an up-and-down game for him and for the Packers. Yeah, I mean, what can I say? It was a complete fail, complete downfall for the Packers. I just feel like after last week, we had some momentum going, you know, coming back from the Saints. But this time around, the Lions just dominated us on all aspects. And, I mean, Jordan Love had his mistakes. He had two picks. He just didn't look all right. And it's because the Lions' defense is legit. I can't deny it. The Lions' defense is legit. And that team is going to win the North, if I'm being honest. The Vikings, what are the Vikings? One and three? Like, you know, I don't think they're going to have a run where they're going to make it all the way. And the Packers, they're going to be right behind the Lions. But I just think that the Lions overall just showed a lot of potential. A lot of really showed why they're considered favorites and why, you know, a lot of people had hype. Yeah, and I mean, this is a big deal for the city of Detroit. They have not won the division at all ever since its formation in 1993. They have never won the NFC North. So this is very big for them. They really need it. I mean, they really want it. So it's pretty clear that right now the Lions are the team to beat in that division. But on to the Sunday games. We'll start off, obviously, with the game in London. Desmond Ritter had a bad performance overall. I mean, 19 for 31. Didn't even get 200 passing yards. Two picks. One was a pick six. And his best receiver was Jonathan Smith. Six catches, 95 yards. And the reason why I'm pointing that out is because Jonathan Smith, this county in Bijon, besides Bijon, Jonathan Smith has the most receptions, the most receiving yards, than any other Falcons pass catcher. More than London, more than Pitts. At this point, it's like, why? Why are the Falcons not using the two guys they drafted in the top ten in Pitts and London? It does not make sense to me. I think the Falcons just are mentally challenged. I'm trying to be... I don't know what's going on. I don't know why they can't get them the ball. You drafted both those dudes in the top ten and you're just treating them like barely startable. And before I pass it off to you, I just want to mention that the Jaguars, overall, I'm starting to wonder if Christian Kirk is the wide receiver, one and not Calvin Ridley. Christian Kirk had eight catches, 84 yards. He's had a few weeks now where he's had a lot of volume. And really, two catches, 30 yards, a nice touchdown. But he only had two targets as well, so he wasn't really thrown to. Yeah, I mean, I wouldn't go that far to call them what you said. I'm not going to repeat it. But I just want to say it's the scheme, it's the coaching, and the quarterback. Desmond Ritter is probably a couple years still behind in development, if I'm being honest. I think he probably needed maybe one or two more years so he could be NFL ready. And the reason that Jonathan Smith is his main guy is because the defense is never going to cover Jonathan Smith, if I'm being honest. Jonathan Smith is like the last option when you think of that offense. You think of Bijon, you think of London, you think of Pitts. And so Jonathan Smith is the odd man out. So if we're being honest, Ritter has Jonathan Smith open all the time. So that's why Jonathan Smith is having that year that he's having. And that's why I feel like Desmond Ritter is pretty much going to be a system quarterback. He doesn't show anything outside of it that really gets my attention. And as for the Jaguars, the Jaguars dominated like always. And Kirk, I don't think necessarily he's going to be wide receiver one. I think that Ridley should be wide receiver one. But it's just going to be really dependent on the matchups. Kirk is getting all those looks because Ridley is getting covered mainly for the majority of the game. And Kirk is just being left wide open. So I think Kirk is going to continue having good games. But at the end of the day, Ridley is probably going to be the one that's going to have the most yards. I just want to say one more thing in regards to the Falcons. I feel like it's where they call him the odd man out when he's literally leading in every category through four games. I know it's just four games. But I just feel like it's pretty clear that, you know, it's pretty clear he has a big role in this offense, Jonathan Smith. No, I'm saying he's the odd man out when it comes to priorities in the defense. Like who they want to target. Like when you think of the Falcons offensive targets, the offensive weapons, you think of Bijon, London, and Pitts. The defenses are going to be really interested in Jonathan Smith. And so now that Jonathan Smith is not getting any coverage, not getting that much attention by the defense, he's going to be blossoming and, you know, the Raiders are going to depend on him. And now on to the afternoon game, starting off with the Rams and Colts. You know, I personally, as a Rams fan, thought we had that game in the bag instantly. But then Anthony Richardson shows why he was drafted number four overall. He had, you know, three total touchdowns, 200 passing yards on 25 attempts. Looked pretty good, honestly. And I was starting to get scared. I was starting to get scared. I was like, is Anthony Richardson really going to come back and beat us and embarrass us? But then, you know, Puka Nicola, our savior, nine catches, 168 yards, one touchdown. I do not want us to stop using him at all when Cooper Cook comes back. And I don't expect that to happen. But he still needs 10 targets a game. After what I've been seeing, he still needs 10 targets a game once Cook comes back. Because he has over 500 receiving yards in four games, like pretty much 39 catches. And, you know, a very good touchdown. He's that guy. He's clearly, I already view him as a wide receiver 1B to Cooper Cook, 1B. And, you know, Kyron Williams, too, he's going off still, you know, two total touchdowns. Overall, that offense for sure rebounded. Overall, I liked what I saw. And I'm glad that we didn't show the 23-0 lead. Yeah, that would have been a different story. Because, yeah, 23-0 at halftime and then, you know, the Colts are able to come back. If it was Anthony Richardson leading the Colts back to a comeback win, it would have been a whole different situation here. I would have been, you know, talking shit. But if we're being honest, the Rams, you know, they clutched up. And, yeah, Puka Nicola is really that guy. And, like you said, I really hope that this success doesn't end just like nothing when Cup comes in. Because the guy deserves all the targets he deserves. He deserves all the receptions. He deserves everything because the skill set is undeniable for being a fifth-round pick. Really showing why a lot of people were like kind of considering him a sleeper, why everyone was considering him maybe like a low-end wide receiver 2. And that's why I got him in Dynasty. Because I was like, this guy is going to be legit one day or another. And then, you know, the Cup injury. But, yeah, I mean, overall, Puka Nicola, really solid. Anthony Richardson, another solid game. I think the only thing that I really want to say about Anthony Richardson is that he kind of needs to work on passing a bit more. Also kind of, you know, getting that offensive line to healthy, you know. That's really going to make sure that Anthony Richardson does good. You can't deny his running game is impressive. His ability is impressive. But he just needs to improve his passing game a bit more so that he can elevate his game. Yeah, and honestly, before we go on to the next game, I do want to mention that JT is expected to start practicing again this Wednesday. So it's going to be very interesting whether or not he chooses to just stay screwed and stay with Indy. Or if he just sits out, just practices and sits out. We'll see what happens there. But if JT comes back for Richardson, that's only going to benefit Richardson. He's going to have some open opportunities to hit open receivers. 100%. But on to the next game. I feel like this is actually part of a crazier game. The Commanders, the Eagles. Overtime went for the Eagles 34-31, but somehow rebounded. And I was surprised because that's what I thought last week. I didn't think he was going to do worse or anything like that. But I thought he was not going to do what he did. 29-41. And 290 passing yards and one touchdown. He held his own. And it was just clear that he rebounded. And another thing I want to mention is that Adrian Brown also rebounded big time. And I say he's a huge reason why the Eagles won. Nine catches, 175 yards, two touchdowns. And him and Smith look like 1A and 1B. Smith also had seven catches, pretty much 80 yards. That Commander secondary got lit up. And that was pretty much the difference in the game. Because, you know, everything else was looking pretty good for the Commanders. I mean, I will say that the Eagles' defense kind of looked shaky this game. They didn't really do as much as the previous games. And I thought they were going to do more. I thought the Commander was going to be a possibility of a blowout by the Eagles. But the Eagles came out with the win. A very hard and deserving win, I guess. Because, you know, it was a very close game for no reason. Sam Powell did really good. McLaurin did amazing. I saw his stat line. Also, Curtis Samuel did amazing. Those three guys, all had touchdowns. Dodson, Samuel, and McLaurin. Amen. This is just, if I'm being honest, this is just a glimpse of what the Dolphins is capable of. Especially against an elite defense, you know. I don't think the Eagles have a good secondary. But their front seven is good. The secondary is where I'm looking and it's like, it's not good. It's not good. That's their flaw. There it is. It's going to be their flaw. And they've got to get that fixed. But again, it just shows that the Eagles are still, in my opinion, not Super Bowl contenders. I need to be convinced. I'm not convinced to the max that they're going to be Super Bowl contenders again. They might be 4-0, but I just got to see more out of that defense. I just got to see what this team is really capable of. The offense is great. Jalen Hurts rebounded and showed me that he can throw the ball around. A.J. Brown was falling out there, which I'm really glad for. But it's just the Eagles, I just feel like you can't be going into overtime with a team like the Commanders, you know. We'll see later on in the season. I think they play the Niners. I might be wrong. They play the Niners in December. Yeah, they play the Niners and the Cowboys. Those will be the real test. Yeah, those will be the real test. When I see them play against better teams, that's where I'm going to be like, okay, the Eagles are first. Yeah, I mean, I feel like you're disrespecting the Eagles when you're saying they're not Super Bowl contenders. But I will say, they're not Super Bowl favorites in my eyes. They're not. But they are Super Bowl contenders in my eyes still. But on to the next game, the Buccaneers and the Saints. That game shocked me, if I'm being honest. Because Baker Mayfield did well. Three touchdowns. Three touchdowns by Baker Mayfield. And Mike Evans missed a portion of that game. I think he actually missed the second half. Yeah, I think he did. But he missed for sure a portion of the game. And, you know, Carr just, I'm surprised that he came back this week. And I feel like it was clear that he was still hurt. Because he only had like 120 passing yards. 13 receptions to Kamara. He was just literally taking them down like crazy. Yeah. The Buccaneers are 3-1 right now. At this point, they might be playoff contenders. They might be playoff contenders because of the division. I don't know about actual playoff contenders. But it does throw that question around. Are they going for the wild card? Are they really going to push for the playoffs? Or are they just, you know. They're 3-1. Look, going into the season, I knew their defense was still elite. You can't deny to me their defense is not elite. They have Avanti David. They have Antoine Winfield Jr. These are guys that, you know, are legit superstars. Defensive superstars. But I didn't think they were going to go for Baker Mayfield. Baker Mayfield has just came out of nowhere. And it's Oklahoma Mayfield again because the guy is doing really good. And, you know, like you said, Mike Evans was out. So, Mayfield is making the most out of this opportunity. I don't know what approach they do when it comes to the draft now. I would assume that they're going to have a slight slide. And maybe go for it. At this point, the Caleb Williams sweepstakes are out of the table. For sure. I think they're going to go for a guy like Drake May. Or a guy like Hartman from Notre Dame. But we'll see, you know. The Buccaneers are exceeding our expectations. Number one in the AFC South. NFC South. NFC South. It's crazy. It's crazy. I'm a little surprised myself. If you would have told me after the first week of October, Buccaneers would have been 3-1. I would have been surprised. Yeah. I would have been surprised. 100%. But I'm really looking at that whole division. The Panthers are not better than them. The Falcons are probably not going to be better than them either. The Saints right now are struggling because Kars hurt. So, I really can't believe I'm seeing. I really do think Baker Mayfield can win that division. It's still early, but I can see it. I mean, they're really looking good out there. Now on to the next game of Cincinnati and Tennessee. Another shocker. Shocker because what's going on with Cincy, you know. Burrow 20 for 30, 165. What's going on? At this point, I'm really questioning because the Titans don't have a good secondary. No. And he didn't come in questionable into this game. Are the Bengals just hiding his injury at this point? What's going on, Joe Burrow? Like three points against the Tennessee Titans, really? Chase couldn't even get 100 receiving yards. And he was mad because he was like, I'm always open. And he even cussed. I'm always fucking open. Yeah. I don't know. How do you feel about the Bengals? What do you think is wrong? I'm disappointed. Because both of us have been hyping them up all offseason. Everyone's been hyping them up all offseason. And then the calf injury comes. And I'm like, oh, I'm hoping that it's not that bad. But then he misses like the whole preseason. And then I bring up the idea that, oh, a calf injury can lead to an Achilles tendon injury. So at this point, the injury is bugging him. And at this point, the Bengals got to consider what's best for their freaking future. Consider what's best for Joe Burrow and bench the guy. Plain and simple. Bench the guy again. Let the backup, you know, play. And let Burrow heal. Because you're going to waste all your money that you gave them. You're going to waste all these games that you're going to end up losing on Burrow and risk the injury. Risk an Achilles, risk an ACL injury. So at this point, you've got to do what's best for the franchise. Bench Burrow. Let him heal. And even if Jomar Chase doesn't like it, it has to be done. Yeah. It has to be done. It has to be done. TA is off of her now, so it's going to be some time. Yeah. I will say if they look to Arizona and Burrow's starting at that point, you really have to consider just giving him rest and just letting this be a lost season. And be transparent with the fan base, man. Because if they're not going to tell him, if they're not telling us the truth, they've got to end up one day being like, okay, Joe Burrow is not healthy. And we can see it on the field. We can see it on the field that Joe Burrow is not 100%. But it's up to the franchise to be like, the dynasty, the franchise, the organization to be like, okay, Joe Burrow is not 100%. We're going to bench him until he heals. Because it's completely falling off right now. It's completely falling off. Yeah, at this point, they're not winning that division. They're winning three. No. But shout out to Derek Henry, though, still went off. 22 carries, 122 yards, one touchdown. That's the difference maker right there. They just got whatever they want. They made the Bengals look like the worst team in the league. Yeah, Derek Henry catching it, running it, throwing it. Derek Henry was a baller. That's all I'm going to say. I like Derek Henry. Yeah, Derek Henry still has that juice in him. But on to the next game. The next game, I felt like, was also interesting because it was the Panthers and Vikings, two 0-3 teams, that desperately needed a win. And despite Kirk Cousins actually saying the game, they won. They actually won. He threw two picks. He didn't throw that many. He still had two touchdowns, both to Jefferson, because Jefferson's the best receiver in the league. Six catches, 85 yards, two touchdowns. Just elite. Elite. But they're actually finding out their first win. And now they're probably going to try and make that run. But they have the Chiefs next weekend, so that's a big game for them. Yeah. But it's at home for them, at least. It's at home. But Young, you know, Young didn't do bad either, but 25-32, 2-0-4. But it's clear that he needs weapons in the future. Dillon is actually bouncing back. But besides that, nothing. There's nothing impressive about that receiving corps. Nothing impressive. Yeah, the Panthers need all the help that they can give to Young because, you know, when Dillon is your number-one target, that really shows a lot. A 33-year-old is your number-one target. And, like, last week we were talking about it. Again, Dillon is not that bad. He's not a bad player. But, you know, the younger wide receivers aren't doing much out there to impress and not really helping out Bryce Young. And so the Panthers just need to figure that out maybe before the trade deadline or something. The only guy who gives him time is John Domingo. John Domingo and others, like, step it up. Yeah, really, really, yeah. Dillon balled out against his Vikings. But, again, another catastrophe by Kirk Cousins, you know. He's really, again, he's showing why I feel like one day he's going to get traded. Although reports are saying that the Vikings don't want to trade Kirk Cousins and Justin Jefferson. I don't know where the hell that came from. If they trade Justin Jefferson, they just want to be in poverty. I don't know where that came from, but there were rumors of Justin Jefferson being traded. I was like, that's complete bullshit. It's not going to happen. But if the Chiefs beat them, and they go 1-4, and Justin Jefferson goes all he said, both Kirk Cousins and Jefferson really be in rumors because, you know. I doubt Jefferson will be traded because that's the franchise. That's the poster boy of the Minnesota Vikings. But Kirk Cousins, his days are being counted. I'll be honest. His days are really coming to an end because he's very inconsistent. He's inconsistent. But, like I said, the Jets are probably the most logical destination. And we'll see. We'll see what happens. But on to the game that I thought would be better. There's still a lot of points, as I said. Yeah. Bill's offense, you know, two very good teams. You know, Josh Allen. After I topped all that smack week one, Josh Allen just decides to look like Josh Allen Prime. Yeah. 21 for 25, 320 passing yards. Four touchdowns. Four touchdowns. Three to Diggs. Diggs had six for 120. And then Gabe Davis had three catches, 61 yards. I mean, the Dolphins secondary was burnt toast. Cooked. They were cooked. Jalen Robinson definitely needed to be in this game. But even then, I still don't think that would make too much of a difference because when you lose 48 to 20, that's a big gap to fill. Yeah. It's not all in the defense. You know, it's on the offense, too. 2-0 didn't do bad. I mean, it was mediocre. But it's because that defense on the Bills is just impressive, you know. And they're going to get Von Miller back. The issue is that, you know, Tredavis White got injured. He got a torn ACL, so he's going to be out for the season. I think it was ACL. Yeah, it was. Yeah. So, that's going to be sad. You know, that's definitely sad news for the Bills. But getting, you know, Von Miller back will help, definitely. But, yeah, you said it, man. Josh Allen and Diggs, that duel, you can't go wrong with that. You know, there's been all those rumors about Diggs running the trade, but Diggs being pissed off at Josh Allen. But that could be put late to rest because this week, they dominated the Dolphins. And, yeah, I think I mentioned it, but they're going to run away with the division at this point. I don't know about running away with the division, but I will say they are favorites again. Yeah. I feel like they just smashed the Dolphins. They absolutely just showed them who was boss. I mean, Latua had a decent game still, but still had a costly pick. Yeah. And then, you know, Raheem Oster just swung with the ball. That was his first game that he really didn't do so good. But Devon Achan, eight carries, over 100 yards. And I just want to make sure. He had two rushing touchdowns as well. Eight carries, two rushing touchdowns, 101 yards. I mean, Devon Achan is looking like the new RB1 for the Dolphins, just the way he can run the ball. Get him on the wire. He's not available at this point. He went after what happened like week three, and he's not. Everyone grabbed him. I grabbed him in the Dynasty. You have him in the Dynasty? Yeah. My Dynasty team, guys, if I were to show my Dynasty team, you guys would be freaking impressed. But basically, the guys I have is like Puka Da Kula, Devon Achan, Tank Dell, Drake London. I have a lot of young people. Yeah, you do. And Jameson Williams. He's back. He's back. Speaking of the Lions, Jameson Williams is back this week. Well, I'll tell you the Ravens and Browns. I mean, I'll just kind of keep this one brief. You know, Dorian Thompson and Robinson, three picks. First NFL career to start. I'll give him a little bit of slack because it's his first career to start. But Lamar Jackson, you know, 15 for 19. Pretty much had 200 passing yards, two passing TDs, two rushing TDs. Both of his passing TDs to Andrews, who had five catches in 80 yards as well. Lamar is looking phenomenal. Lamar is looking prosperous. Lamar is looking great. And Lamar is looking like he could be an MVP candidate as well, like I sensed. But the Ravens for sure look like the favorite at this point. Yeah, the Ravens definitely are the clear-cut leader, winner of the pack because I just don't see the Steelers. The Steelers, Browns, and Bengals don't show me any hope. There's no glimpse of hope on that side that they're going to win the division. Like you said, Lamar Jackson was spectacular. And Mark Andrews went off. The game that I've been expecting, the game that I've been wanting, you know, him to bounce back, and he really balled out. And now on to another game, you know. Oh, wait, I do want to mention another Browns news. Nick Chubb had his MCL fixed. Unfortunately, the doctors did find out that they had to repair his ACL. So he's looking at a timetable of maybe next year, but it really just depends on his recovery. I know, that's a huge loss for the Browns. You know, the Browns, if they have him, they for sure look better. Yeah. It is what it is. And now the Steelers and Texans, first of all, I just want to add, do you think the Texans are legit? They're legit. They're legit. I cannot deny it with you. They're legit as possible, and they might win that division. Everyone in that division is 2-2, so I mean, you're not crazy for saying that. But CJ Stroud, over 300 passing yards, 16 for 30, and three touchdowns, three passing touchdowns. CJ Stroud, I mean, no, not three, my bad, two passing touchdowns. Neal Collins, again, looking like a wide receiver, one, seven catches, 168 yards, two TDs. Like, it's just crazy. It's just crazy to sit here and think about how well CJ Stroud's been playing, and he already has like 1,200 yards passing. And as for the Steelers, can you pick this up? I mean, I can't believe all this preseason hype went down the drain. 15 for 23, barely had over 100 passing yards, and then he got hurt. But overall, that game was a complete blowout. The Steelers aren't a mess, and the Texans just, it's clear that CJ Stroud's that guy, and he wants everyone to wear Texan gear in pride. Let me put it better in perspective. CJ Stroud has over 1,200 yards in his first four games. That's more than Patrick Mahomes, Andrew Luck, and Justin Herber. But let me put it into a more clear perspective. He has more passing completions than, before he's thrown a pick, with two guys in front of him, Jack Prescott and Tua. So if we're being real here, CJ Stroud is doing something generational. It's a generational performance, and he's really making that Texan fan base believe. It's something that they never believed in, if I'm being honest. No other quarterback has made them believe as much as CJ Stroud, and he's happier than ever. I feel like any other player back then would have been, oh, I'm playing for the Texans, like whatever. No, CJ Stroud is showing that he's proud to be a Texan, he's proud of his team, and what better day than to do it when J.J. Watt got inducted into the ring of fame, or whatever it is, but their hall. It's like, yeah, the Texans are really showing a lot, and I feel like they're contenders. They're definitely contenders in that division. Yeah, for sure. They look better in Jacksonville, and I don't know how Jacksonville is going to run away with it. But we'll see what happens. I definitely think the Texans are not a bottom five team anymore, like I initially did. But now on to, I would say, the funniest, interesting game of the noon games, and it's the Bears, the Broncos, the two worst teams, in my opinion. You know? The stink fest. The stink fest. The Caleb Williams sweepstakes. The battle of mid. Yes. It was better than I expected. First, the Bears dominating, 28-7. And then they choke that lead. They lost 31-28. It's funny. It's funny, if I'm being honest. And Beals actually went off, and so he reverted to his old self and threw a pick that cost him the game. But he still went off the fourth passing touchdowns, 335 passing yards. He was still having his way. Yeah. And Russell Wilson was having his way, too, but everyone was having their way. Russell Wilson also had like over 300 passing yards, and actually, no, he didn't. He won 21 for 23, 223 passing yards, and three touchdowns. That's all. I knew he had a three somewhere. Yeah, yeah. But Russell Wilson for sure held his own still. Both these quarterbacks actually played good, which is weird, like what are we going to do? Yeah. And then not to mention, though, like Chase Claypool wasn't in this game, and it just seems like maybe that helped Beals because Claypool had some bad games for Beals, you know? Yeah. What do you think about the game, and what do you think about the Claypool situation? Who did you say that won? What? Who did you say that won? The Broncos. Okay, because I thought you said, I could have sworn you said the Bears won, but never mind. Yeah, the Broncos won. They had to win this one because obviously, you know, you don't want to be the lacking stock of the NFL, losing to a team like the Bears again, or losing to the Bears. And, again, Russell Wilson's not the issue. Russell Wilson's really balling out this year, and he was nearly perfect, you know? So it's a pretty good game. He was 21 for 23, right, you said? 21 for 28. Oh, 21 for 28. Oh, okay, never mind. Yeah, Russell Wilson still did pretty good. Justin Fields did really great, had that costly pick. But, again, it's like, what can we tell about this game? Like, are the Bears, is it Justin Fields, or is it the rest of the Bears players? And it has to be the rest of the Bears players. You know, Claypool hasn't done a squat. He didn't play. He didn't? He was sent home. Oh, well, look, you see, that's the problem. Claypool has been showing attitude problems. Every, every, every, every game, he's been showing attitude problems. Oh, look, they're getting the ball. Like, bro, you got close. You got close, for sure. I heard it, yeah. So, pretty much, I have... You can go ahead, whenever. Three, two, one. He was very good. I mean, just... The Bears are just a poverty franchise, in general. But, you know, the defense just choked, completely. And, generally, I just think they're clearly going to be the worst team in the NFL. But what's your take? Yeah, I mean, again, it leaves a lot more questions than answers for the Bears, because, okay, maybe Justin Fields isn't the issue. He balls out, he bounces back in a good way. Obviously, he throws that costly pick. But I just feel like, at this point, you got to point it at the defense. Point it at your weapons. Point it at your offensive line. Because Justin Fields cannot be the scapegoat anymore, if I'm being honest. And look at the attitude of your players. Guys like Chase Claypool, who did not play because, you know... Yeah? Yeah, they sent his ass home. Like, when you keep saying that, I don't get the ball, I don't get the ball, and, like, all, like, stuff like that, you know. The team is not going to cut it. The team is going to be like, that doesn't cut it for me. And, if I'm being honest, you have guys way ahead of you, in front of you. So, it's like, you need to figure your stuff out, and you can't blame it on anyone else. Because, Claypool, when you were in Pittsburgh, you were not good. So, it's like, the Bears just got to figure out, internally, what the real issue is. And, so, the Broncos, good win for them. They bounced back. Russell Wilson was not the issue. He really balled out. And, we'll see if they can maybe take a run. Take a run. But, I doubt it. Yeah, I mean, but, backtracking to some of the stuff you said, I think they still have a clear weapon in DJ Moore. 8 catches, 1, 2, 3, 1 yards, 1 passing TD. Kemet, he has it. He still has it. Yeah. I mean, 7 catches, 85 yards, 2 TDs. So, it's clear that they have some weapons. They do. They do. It's just, I just think that Claypool is really not going to be that guy. Claypool is a cancer. Claypool is a clear locker room cancer. And, that's why I'm kind of wanting to really say, the Bears are just a poverty franchise. How do you see him being worth a second round pick? Yeah. How? Who ended up being Michael Porter, Jr.? Not Michael Porter. Oh. Porter, Jr. I don't know. I forgot his first name if I'm being honest. Yeah, it is. But, Porter, Jr., up 10 states. Yes. So, like, you fucked up. Yeah, no. The Bears, they deserve to be a poverty franchise if they do stuff like that. But, at the same time, we'll see what happens. You know, I do think they're going to be the worst team. I think they're going to be the absolute worst team. Them and the Panthers, because the Panthers, besides stealing, that weaponry is, like, bad. Yeah. But, nevertheless, you know, we'll keep pushing this time to the late afternoon games, first with the Raiders and the Chargers. You know, Khalil Mack, six sacks against his former team. It's just sensational. It's just, it's clear that, you know, he wanted to really give them a hell, you know. And, even though, you know, the Chargers won, Herbert actually didn't do so well. But, I know he had a hand injury. He did. So, but, still, 13 for 24, just over 120, like, just over 100 yards. You know, he didn't do so good for his standards. But, overall, that game just really showed me that the Raiders are still a poverty franchise, regardless. I mean, you know, freaking being intercepted when you could have tied the game. I mean, at the same time, the Aiden O'Connell's a rookie, and he fumbled two times. But, besides that, I didn't watch the game, if I'm being honest. But, looking at how the stuff looked like, it seems like he didn't do too bad during the ball. He was just having turnover issues and bad pocket presence. Yeah, I watched the game entirely, and the Chargers were obviously dominating in the first half. With Cleo Mack going crazy, the Mack attack, going against his own team, having some vengeance against them. And, Aiden O'Connell wasn't too bad. I just feel like there's one reason, one sole reason, the Raiders lost. And, it's one reason that they, it's one person they need to get rid of. And, that's Josh McDaniels, because he's not good. He's not good. I heard though that Brandon Staley also gave him a little bit of life by supposedly going for it late in the game. On fourth down in Raiders territory. So, I feel like, is that true? Yes, it is true. They did not convert, and so the Raiders got it back. I just feel like, Staley's also on his last leash, for sure. If he doesn't make the playoffs, it's pretty much going to be over for him. Or, if the Chargers lose a bunch of games, he'll be out for sure. But, I just think that Josh McDaniels has had enough lifelines, and it's over. If there was such thing as a system coach, he is a system coach. He needs to go back to Belichick, if I'm being honest. Because, there's no hope for him. There really is no hope for Josh McDaniels. And, for him to blame Aiden O'Connell. There's a quote, and I'll put it right here. But, he kind of threw some shade at Aiden O'Connell. I was like, hey man, have some respect. Raiders players. It's a rookie. So, I'm going to put the quote up here. But, yeah, the guy is a fraud. That's all I've got to say. It's a fraud. Tom Brady had to carry him. So, yeah. And now, on to the next 1pm Pacific time game. The Patriots and Cowboys. I feel like, you know, it was a huge get right game for the Cowboys. I mean, 2 defensive touchdowns. Like, wow. And, you know, Matt Jones sucked. Matt Jones looked like the Matt Jones of last year. 12 for 21, but 2 interceptions. Pick 6. You know, it was horrendous. And, Dak also rebounded. You know, 28 for 34. 260 yards. 1 passing TD. Overall, it was a very good game for the Cowboys. And, just at this point, you know, Christian Gonzalez getting hurt. Matthew Giron getting hurt. It's a big blow for the Patriots. So, I really do think the Patriots are in contention for the Caleb Williams sweepstakes. I don't know how you feel about that. I think they are. I really think they are in contention. But, I don't feel like they're going to get Caleb Williams. I think there's a little bit more teams that are a bit worse than the Patriots. But, if we're being real, Matt Jones isn't that guy anymore. And, really, Bill Belichick needs to get the ball rolling. Or, it could be him on the chopping block. Because, although, like, he's a legendary coach. He's maybe the best coach of all time in the NFL. But, if we're being real, the last couple of years haven't been anything special, you know. Other than the first year with Matt Jones, there hasn't been any progression. And so, I don't see what's next for the Patriots. They're not doing good. Their auditions are not doing good. I haven't heard anything about Ezekiel or Juju. So, I mean, what else can you do? The Patriots just need to really consider getting a new quarterback or considering a new approach. I mean, Belichick has a lot of power in the Patriots organization. So, it's really got to be, like, if Belichick is going to get fired. I don't know. Or, if he takes a step back and doesn't coach anymore. Takes more of a manager role. But, it just, the Patriots really lacked a lot. And, again, they played the Cowboys, which are arguably one of the best teams in the NFC, NFL. So, the Cowboys really balled out. And, the defense, again, went crazy. Oh, my God. Two defensive touchdowns. Man, that defense is legit. Yeah, and then, on to the last game. You know, just another one of the best NFC teams. The Niners just absolutely dominate the Cardinals. No shocker here. But, you know, CMC just went off. Four total touchdowns. Pretty much almost had 200 scrimmage yards. He had a field day, you know. And, Rob Purdy also went, was very efficient. Rob Purdy was very efficient. 20 passes. I mean, 20 completions on 21 attempts. Just one incompletion. Almost 300 passing yards. IU had almost 150 receiving yards. You know, they just absolutely had whatever they wanted on the Cardinals' defense all day. And, you know, the Cardinals still scored 16. They still were scrappy. They were still fighting. Dobs still had a decent day. 29 for 41. And, about around 250 passing yards, two passing touchdowns still. So, he still was actually being decent. No turnovers were committed by any team. Overall, it's just the Niners are just clearly better. Yeah. At the end of the day, I don't think the Cardinals had a chance with the 49ers. Like, from all cylinders, they're the best team. And, for McCaffrey, he broke the most consecutive games with a touchdown over Jerry Rice. So, yeah. CMC is in some elite business. And, he's bound to also break his career highs from 2019. So, it's like CMC and the 49ers were made to be together. And, man, I've got to say, my bold take is this streak is going to continue until the Super Bowl. That's all I've got to say. I wouldn't be surprised either. Because the Niners, if I'm being honest, this is one of the best teams I've ever seen in my 15 years of watching the NFL. If I'm being honest. They're that good. They're that good. I think the only team that I can really think of was the 2011 Packers. The 2011 Packers, the 2007 Patriots. Those are two teams that I can really see on level with the current 49ers. Because, man, the 49ers are freaking legit. And, you can't deny me. As a Rams fan, I feel bad for you. You as a Rams fan, I feel bad that they're on your division because it's not going to be fun. No, we gave them our best battle. We still lost. Yeah. But, on to the Sunday night game. And, I feel like that game was very interesting because it was 17-0 Chiefs. We were like, oh, this is just a regular game. It was accepted. And, all of a sudden, it was 20-20 at one point. And, Zach Wilson, overall, besides that fumble, besides looking like his regular self, besides that, still did better in my home. That whole game. 28-39 on 245 and two passing TDs. While Mahomes had 18-30, 2-0-3, one TD, two interceptions. He performed better than Mahomes in that game. He really did. And, now, we're at a point where it's like, dang, what's next? The Jets are 1-3. They just went toe-to-toe with one of the better teams in the AFC. They just absolutely were in that game. And, Zach Wilson looked better than ever. Yeah. And, all I've got to say is that this game really should give Wilson some confidence and should shut up the Jets' defense. The whole week, I was hearing that they were pissed off about Wilson being the quarterback, that they wanted Wilson benched. That defense needs to shut up because Wilson really showed out and really showed a lot of heart. Because, at the end of the day, he was blaming himself that he lost. And, although people might be like, oh, why are we giving him the flowers? Why are we praising him that he still lost? The man has been down his entire career. He's faked a lot of feet. And, he finally does good against an elite team like the Chiefs and people can't praise him? Like, you've got to be on some, like, real hater stuff. It's New York behavior. Yeah. It's New York behavior. Like, fans still criticize him for his previous play. But, you can't deny it to me that this was his best game, the best he's ever looked since he's been drafted. Yeah. But, he still needs to keep doing that. If he keeps, like Salah said, he said, Adam Salah said, if he keeps playing like this, we're going to win games. Yeah. They will win some games if they play like that. They're going to, for sure, be the Patriots next time they see him. Yeah. So, let's maybe put the trade rumors aside and give Wilson a chance. Maybe. I'd say these next two weeks are pivotal. Yeah. These next two weeks will really tell us a lot. And, if he really does that same performance for the next two weeks, then, for real, the Kirk Cousins trade speculation can go away. But, until then, give Wilson time. Give Wilson the confidence. Give Wilson that support. Because, maybe, he will blossom into the guy that, you know, that was worth that first draft pick for. Maybe. I mean, he has athletic ability. He has arm talent. Like, that's not the problem. It's just, you know, he just needs to really adapt to the NFL. And, now, onto the last week's four game. Niners. Uh, not Niners. Seahawks and Giants. You know, this New York team looks completely polar opposite of the Jets. Trash. Just flat out trash. I mean, Diana Jolkien's tack 11 times is crazy. He had no protection. But, even then, how did he get paid? How did he get paid? I mean, two interceptions. This whole season, he has six interceptions, two passing touchdowns. How did he get paid? Really. Because, that game could have been his. Really. Gino Smith was out for some time. And, they lost 24-3. No Saquon. But, all these excuses at the same time. It's just really, the Giants are in a big, big hole right now. They're really not looking good at all. And, they've been outscored 94-15 in primetime games. So, at this point, they felt. They felt. They felt by paying Diana Jones. They felt by not paying Saquon. They felt by just simply, you know. They felt their offensive line. They felt. They flat out felt. And, what's Darren Waller? You know, he got paid. He got money. And, he's expected to be your guy. Where is he? Where is he? Yeah. Good win for the Seahawks overall. You know, Gino Smith got hurt, but he came back. And, you know, they managed to win the game. Ken Walker did okay. He had that 72-yard touchdown, you know, taken back by a penalty. The defense was freaking, like, spectacular. They were incredible. Devon Witherspoon with the 97-yard pick. Six. Jesus Christ. He's showing why they didn't go for anyone else, you know. He's really balling up there. Yeah, two sets. Yeah. Since when do corners get two sets? Yeah. So, like, you know, him and Quadri Diggs. And, I forgot who the Cincinnati one was. Kobe Bryant. They had Kobe Bryant. Yeah, Kobe Bryant. Kobe Bryant. And, who am I missing? Is that it? I think. Honestly, I don't know. I don't know if Rick Willing was playing this game because I didn't really check. Yeah. No, yeah. But, that. Those defensive backs are really good. And, all I'm going to say, man, it kind of reminded me of the Legion of Boom. You know, just they destroyed. They destroyed the Giants. And, that's where the Giants, like you said, where's Waller? You know, where's the offensive line? Where's the defensive line? Where's Hyatt? You know, they don't even involve Hyatt. Where the fuck is Shepard? Like, Wanda Robinson. Like, if I'm being honest, I would put all of those names in mid-team posters. Because, where the hell are they? You know, Daniel Jones is a fraud. He has never been anything but a freaking playing like a backup quarterback. I would rather see a sack of potatoes playing quarterback. Because, Jesus Christ. He's not worth that $200 million contract. 160. 160. But, it's still bad. It's still bad. It's still bad. This guy is not the guy in New York. And, I feel like Saquon Spry is laughing right now. I don't think he's laughing. I think he's like. He's laughing at disappointment. Yeah. Because, the Giants have no hope. Brian D'Abel is. I won't disrespect Brian D'Abel. Because, he brought this Giants team out of nothing. That's to say that maybe there is still a chance. But, I just think that at this point, Daniel Jones is in that position. They should have spent more money on the defensive line than getting a guy like Darren Waller. Who has done exactly nothing for that team. Nothing. So. Good luck to all Giants fans. I hope your season goes well. But, it's not looking too good. I feel bad for New York. The Mets. The Yankees. Nah. I don't care. The Giants. The Jets. Oh my God. It's going to hell in New York sports. It's going to hell in New York sports. I don't care about New York sports. I want them to suffer. I want them to not win anything. But, overall. I mean. My main takeaway from that game is that. The Giants are a poverty franchise. Because, you signed a guy who you thought was your franchise. And look at. It just backfired in your face completely. I've been saying that. I said they should have paid Barkley over Daniel Jones. Yeah. Yeah. But, overall. That pretty much sums up everything. In week 9. I mean week 4. That pretty much sums up everything in week 4. Do you have anything else you want to say? I will have to say that. Cooper Cup is coming back next week. So, that's going to be very interesting. But. Do the Rams play? Who do you play? We play. We play. We play. Oh. Eagles. Fuck. Well, you guys are going to need Cubs for sure. No. I mean. I got to say that. I'm just. If I'm being honest. If I have to pick two. If I. The two. The two. The two. I guess. The two. What am I trying to say? The two winners and two losers of this week. The two winners. I got to see. I got to say. Are the Bills and the Niners. They both really showed why they're going to be dominating forces in their conferences. While the two losers. Have to be the Giants. And. I would probably say the Saints. Because. You know. Their car. Is not healthy. Their car. Needs. Proper maintenance. So. I guess. The two. The two. I guess. The two. What am I trying to say? Their car. Needs. Probably. Take a day. A game off. Or something. So that they can really recover. And for them. To be one and three. Yeah. They had. Two and two. Two and two. My bad. I thought they were one and three. For some reason. But two and two. I think they expected more. But. Just have their car get healthy. And they'll be okay. And the Giants. Again. Will be winning through. Like their. I can't. I don't want to destroy them anymore. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
