The speaker discusses their experience of childhood grief and the lasting impact it has had on their life. They emphasize that dealing with grief as a young child is a unique situation that not everyone can understand. They thank Dr. Julie Kaplow for providing insight on childhood grief in this episode. So to sum everything up, I have experienced childhood grief and had to learn how to process intense emotions at a young age. My brother's death had an intense and long-lasting impact on my life and it will continue to. This is something that I will have to deal with forever, but thankfully I have learned how to grow and adjust. Having to deal with grief and such extreme feelings as a very young child is a special situation that not everyone is able to understand. Everyone grieves differently and experiences emotions differently. Clearly, it can affect all children differently based on numerous factors and has been shown to have long-lasting effects. Thanks for listening to today's episode everyone. I'd like to thank Dr. Julie Kaplow for sharing some insight on childhood grief today on this episode. I'm glad you could be here to listen while I unpack childhood grief with Dr. Julie Kaplow.
