again I don't have a specific time that I or day that I do these but I do these anyway um yeah here it is going into midnight gonna go into Monday August 14th what a weekend I had yeah how was your weekend um mine oh wow um this thing at my church second Saturday of every month men's breakfast five dollars men all you can eat there's stuff for women to specifically at my church but you know some stuff for men is we got breakfast wow it was a good breakfast you know you can uh you know you men you're invited register early so they know how much food to make you don't have to pay right away but it's five dollars all you can eat if you register early you don't have the money you can pay when you get there but please register and it was good I only had like a half serving of stuff that I would normally have I'm on this diet you know 297 I was at 330 I'm 297 working my way down I'm a loser I already said that one and then after that I got off work you know late front going into Saturday and so I had to take a nap took a nap but I was also doing laundry and then there was a birthday party not just any birthday party Uncle Walter at church 90 years young and had RSVP early because there was only enough room in the hall that was rented for like 200 people but I told my children you know just show up even if it's for a couple minutes tell him hi happy birthday because he frankly knows a lot of people and what got me is one of his daughters asked people to stand up and remain standing siblings he's got two brothers don't know out of how many and then children kids stood up you know grandchildren like okay any greats he's got a great-granddaughter you know uncle nephews and nieces and greats and then those people who used to work with and then there's he goes for a walk this 90 year young man walks every day and at men's retreats he would wake up early and go for a walk and frankly we can't keep up with the guy I think he's the one who invented power walking I don't know but you know if I live to be 90 I hope to be as active as him I'm working on that working on that you know I'm working on my food intake and then I'll you know I'm getting lighter and less weight on my bones so I'm working on that a little bit at a time and stayed there for as long as I could you know I was getting overheated and I drove Jane there and you know she needed to go home so all right did that I came home and getting ready for church and there was church on Sunday I love playing my violin there I have this gift people say I play well and at times I play I'm very comfortable the way I played and today was wow yeah wow Gertrude you did a very good job I named my violin Gertrude why not if you play an instrument don't you name it the violin that my parents bought for me back in 75 I call her Gertrude named her after my grandmother nice name and then I got old red that's my electric violin that I have it's the Markwood Stingray edition and then I got old Sparky which I purchased somebody in Poland made it and it's acrylic and it lights up and then I got another acrylic one that lights up I don't know that would be Sparky D Sparky jr. didn't name that one yet if you come up with a name let me know yeah and that's it with there I didn't expect to get Sparky too but it was a low price on eBay I want to get one last one an acrylic one that lights up as you play it that would be interesting I'm waiting for the prices of those to go down not any going to go down anytime soon you know other people collect guitars I collect violins and so yeah Gertrude did a very good job today and and then after that it was shopping another nap and get ready for work tomorrow night it was it was a nice weekend it was very good I'm happy with it you know stuff getting done around my house it's just a little bit at a time you know when I had some time off I didn't spend the whole day on my house though I need to coming up September I can't wait for this coming I got to tell my boss that I need the 18th of September off of Monday for another echocardiogram they're now once every three months yay but September 29th Friday I need that day off because the next day September 30th Saturday the men's wild game dinner at my church now in the past couple years men and women were invited I gotta see if that is again we have a hundred tickets $35 each and there will be chili it's not mystery meat chili yours truly here and crew featuring my son Josh will be making the chili again enough to feed a hundred people last year it did not last hundred tickets enough to feed a hundred people it didn't last there was other food there but this year the meat will not just be elk and buffalo but venison all combined into one chili it's never spicy never ever the spices will be on the side I'm gonna have some special edition spices oh what I got planned oh my the plans I have for people there's also going to be other food there there's going to be some drinks there there's going to be giveaways we had a hatchet throwing contest last year and you could win some prizes and prizes in the previous years was like a crossbow another year was a rifle with a scope on it um so there's some pretty good prizes and then there's some smaller ones I don't mind the smaller ones I didn't really want I don't want to get anything but I had some hunters I made a I made the the meat of venison chili last year and I had some of the hunters say to me how did you get this to not taste like venison and of course I openly revealed a recipe it's recipe that my dad had made but um when he the last batch of chili he made you know around 1999 there was no Bush's grilling beans I especially loved those the bourbon and brown sugar kind because it gives the it gives it a nice sweet taste to the chili and then spices would be on the side never make my chili spicy that's coming up um oh goodness at our church during the summertime we have a we have to raise money for the for the education department we have a pop bottle and can drive and between the mission that's the girls and the Rangers the boys and let me see I have the total I'm trying to calculate it now I think oh wow um yep the girls whoever listens to this gets the exclusive the girls currently up-to-date since the beginning have a total of six thousand one hundred and two pop bottles and cans and the boys have five thousand two hundred and forty seven so far see over at the church on our temple times report you would get the totals for the week but I have up-to-date totals how many so far and for you know the education department there's like over 11,000 pop bottles and cans that's like 1100 bucks that goes towards the education department to better educate children over at the church that's very good you know people turning in pop bottles and cans I don't give them pop bottles and cans I cash them in and I give them the cash equivalent because I know the tubs that they're collected and they can only hold so many bags and then there's like one maybe two people that turn in all the pop bottles and could you imagine taking 11,000 pop bottles and cans over to the grocery store to turn in and you only have a $25 limit so to make it easier on them I just turn in the money from the pop bottles and cans so it's it's an awesome weekend I had a good violin playing day had a good nap I'm getting ready for bed now I got to take out the garbage and I got some things I got to do in the morning and then I take a nap and then go to work night shift anyway how was your weekend um I got to do another thing after this so huh I will talk with you later peace
