Jillian, a junior at the University of Iowa, is studying communications and cinema. She also has a screenwriting degree, which allows her to take additional classes. Jillian is from Minneapolis and chose the school because she loved it during her tours. In addition to being a student, she is a tour guide and part of the Iowa Pet Band, where she plays the piccolo at various sporting events. She is excited to get to know everyone in the course. Hello everyone, my name is Jillian. I'm currently a junior here at the University of Iowa studying communications, cinema, and screenwriting. Although I intend to only graduate with communications and cinema, but the screenwriting degree allows me to take some classes I wouldn't be able to without declaring it. I am from Minneapolis, Minnesota, in a suburb of that area where I was born and raised, and I came here because I truly fell in love with the school touring it multiple times. At school, besides being a student, I am a tour guide and give tours to potential students and their families, and I am also part of the Iowa Pet Band where I play the piccolo at all of the men's and women's basketball games, some wrestling meets, and soon a gymnastics meet. That's a little bit about me, and I hope to get to know you all very soon through this course.
