The Denver Nuggets won a big game to advance to the NBA conference finals, with Jamal Murray and Nicole Jokic leading the team. The Boston Celtics dominated the Philadelphia 76ers in game seven, thanks to Jason Tatum's 51 points and Al Horford's defense. The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Golden State Warriors in a tough series. The Knicks made it to game six against the Heat, but fell short. The conference finals will feature the Celtics vs Heat in the Eastern Conference, and the Nuggets vs Lakers in the Western Conference. What's going on Week in Sports 101 this is Jack Esterwick and my co-host Connor Abeles. Let's start the NBA conference semifinal news off with a huge game six win from the Denver Nuggets to send them to the conference finals. Leading the Nuggets Jamal Murray and Nicole Jokic combining with 356 points, 101 assists and 108 rebounds in the series. Now sending you guys over to my co-host Connor Abeles breaking down the Celtics vs 76ers series. Talking about late in the series wins with the Boston Celtics took apart the 76ers in game seven with a score of 112 to 88. Celtics star Jason Tatum had a rough series until game seven scoring 51 points to put the game away. As well as exceptional defensive performance by Celtics center Al Horford. He held the MVP Joel Embiid to an average of 25 points in the series sending them to the conference finals. Sending you guys back over to Jack he's going to break down the Lakers vs Warriors series. Thanks Connor. Now let's talk about LeBron and his Lakers beating Curry and the Warriors in six games. This series was a battle. These teams were neck and neck and the Lakers just got the best out of the Warriors. Not many breakout games either for both team stars. It was definitely a team effort for both teams. The Knicks started off slow but took the series to a game six. Jalen Brunson for the Knicks played an outstanding series leading the Knicks but ultimately just falling short. For the Heat Jimmy Butler has been leading them all playoffs in almost every aspect. Now after the conference semifinal games we have the conference final matchups. For the Eastern Conference Jason Tatum and the Celtics will face off Jimmy Butler and his Heat and the Western Conference will have Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets face off LeBron and the Lakers.
