My name is Vivian Keene, and I'm your host for Her Hustle. A little introduction, if you're meeting me for the first time, I was born and raised in Los Angeles. My family is from Taipei, Taiwan, and I'm a huge foodie. I have over 15 years of marketing experience, and I've worked for many types of companies, ranging from small, scrappy startup brands to global businesses with portfolios. I started my marketing career back as a brand ambassador while I was in college, and most recently was the U.S. head of marketing for a global company with almost 500 employees. I've worked for brands like Red Bull, 5-Hour Energy, and HealthAid Kombucha, all when they were beginning to hit the consumer market as a new category in CPG, and I've even spent some time helping launch new products in the cannabis space. Oh, and did I mention I started my own swimsuit brand 10 years ago? We'll save that story for its own episode. My marketing specialty is in omni-channel and integrated marketing, which merges together different divisions such as brand, field, experiential, social, digital, influencer, trade, and beyond. I've learned to work smarter because I've put in the time of working harder. I've made many mistakes early on that have now helped me to better strategize at 30,000 feet. And of course, I'm still learning. As I look back on my career, I feel like I've lived so many lives, and I've finally come to a crossroads in my life where I'm ready to share my network and know-how, centered on all things mindset, motivation, and marketing. And that's why I'm starting this podcast, to spotlight both old friends and new, with real conversations about the no-bullshit, raw, ups and downs that can occur on the journey to pursuing your dreams.
