The morning devotion session is led by Amanda Beydou from Harvest Chapel International. The topic is "Dispenses of Love." The main message is that God is love and when we commune with Him, we become messengers and dispensers of His love. We are encouraged to show love to others despite the pain and conflict in the world. We have an abundance of love in our hearts to give. It is important to be selfless and show the true, agape love of God to those around us. The memory verse is 1 John 4:7. The session ends with a prayer for the ability to show love and be peace bearers.
Shalom Beloved, and thank you for being a part of the Just Ended Prayer's Thoughts Up. God bless you for tuning in to today's Morning Glory Devotion. And facilitating today's session is Amanda Beydou from Harvest Chapel International on Denya Mikumasi. Kindly let's share a word of prayer. Our Heavenly Father, we thank you for today. We thank you for the opportunity to dive into your word. We pray that you enlighten our hearts and help us to apply the truth of your word to our lives.
In Jesus' name, Amen. Brethren, kindly let's take our confession from the book of Joshua Chapter 1 Verse 8. Joshua Chapter 1 Verse 8. This book of the Lord shall not depart out of my mouth, but I shall meditate to do according to all that is written in it. For then I will make my way prosperous, and then I will have good success. Amen. Beloved, our topic for today is titled, Dispenses of Love, Dispenses of Love. And our scripture reading is taken from 1 John Chapter 4 Verse 7.
And I read, Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. Amen. Our second scripture is taken from the book of Romans Chapter 5 Verse 5. And I read, And hope maketh not ashamed, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost, which is given unto us. Amen. Beloved, let us love, for love is of God. In God alone love has its true abode.
Beloved, let us love, for those who love, they only are His children from above. Amen. Dispenses of Love. Brethren, just like the hymn above seeks to remind us, God is love and the source of love. Therefore, when we are able to commune with God, we become messengers, conduits, dispensers of His love. We have been given the ability to dispense love to others. There is so much love in you to give out. Every day, we hear and see the tragic story of mankind, filled with pain, hurts, conflict and confusion.
Mankind is on edge, and we are often caught in the crosshairs of one another's internal battles. We take out our frustrations on one another, from parents to children, bosses to subordinates, spouses to each other, among friendships, family, social, business, and even stranger relationships. Creating a very chaotic environment for ourselves. People are often wary to show love, as it may have yielded negative feedback and hurts in the past. So, it is so easy to find selfish acts than selfless ones, and many are bound in bitterness, anger, unforgiveness, resentment, among others.
Brethren, many at times, the situations we meet are opportunities to show Jesus. Jesus assures us that there is love in abundance in our hearts and we must be peace bearers, ready to share the love He has freely given to us, to others. Beloved, we draw from a well of love to give love. So be determined to give love today, to bear the fruit of love to those around you today because it is possible. We are sent to exhibit the true, agape, God kind of love to those around us by the help of the Holy Spirit.
Beloved, let us dispense love, for love is of God. For those who love, they only are His children from above. Beloved, let us love, for love is of God. In God alone love has its true abode. Amen. Our memory verse is taken from 1 John chapter 4 verse 7 and I read, Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. Amen. Kindly let us pray.
We thank you dear Lord for this reminder that you have made it possible for us to show love to one another. We pray that you help us to draw from the well of love that you have shed abroad in our hearts today and dispense that love to all those we come into contact with today. We pray for their grace to be peace bearers and to be dispensers of love as we walk throughout the day. This we pray in the name of Jesus.
Amen. Thank you very much brethren for tuning in to today's morning glory and devotion. Please stay tuned for more spirit filled content and have a blessed day. Amen.
