Brit Chadasha Portion for 06/03/2023

Jesus condemns the scribes and Pharisees for being hypocrites. They focus on appearing clean on the outside, but inside they are filled with corruption and wrongdoing. Jesus advises them to first clean the inside, which will then make the outside clean as well. Matthew, Chapter 23, Verses 25-26 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are filled with plunder and unrighteousness. Blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of the cup and dish so that the outside of them becomes clean too.
