Chimpanzees share 99% of their DNA with humans. The guest on the podcast is Jenny Desmond from the Liberian Chimpanzee Rescue and Protection Organization. Western chimpanzees are critically endangered because of human activities. Chimpanzees play an important role in the environment. The videos and pictures of chimpanzees wearing clothes and acting like humans are actually of young chimpanzees. The podcast will cover these topics and more. Three, two, one. You may or you may not know this, but a chimpanzee's DNA is approximately 99% the same as humans. That's right. Their DNA is almost identical to us. Now, here's a question for you It's a trick one. Who is more identical to chimpanzees, gorillas or us? Well, guess what? I'm not going to tell you. You're just going to have to listen to this episode Now I've been really blessed to have so many amazing guests and willing to join me on the podcast It's really pretty crazy how lucky I've been. Yep us Did you know how important they are to the environment? Wait, you hear that and think about this one So when you watch the movies and shows and see those videos and pictures on social media of chimpanzees wearing clothes and acting like us Did you know those are actually just the young guys are not even fully grown. So the big question you've got to ask yourself is this Where were their mothers and fathers when they were doing that heavy question I know in this episode we talked about all those issues and more.
