Blessed be the name of the Lord who causes us to triumph in all season of life, who make all his goodness and his faces shining upon us, and make all his good faces be upon us in all season of life. Hallelujah. So in a short while we are going to be praying again, but before that time, I quickly want us to pay attention to one or two things when we come to believers meeting like this. Hallelujah.
When we come to believers meeting like this, our knowledge of crucifixion and resurrection play a vital role in the move of the spirit. Hallelujah. Our knowledge of crucifixion and resurrection play a very vital role in the move of the spirit. Our knowledge. Glory to God. Glory to God. What we understand, our understanding have a lot to play or a lot to do when it comes to the move or the manifestation of the spirit. So we can never experience God beyond the knowledge, beyond our knowledge or beyond the knowledge of resurrection that we are exposed to.
So that is why we can never play low on coming to understanding our reality in Christ Jesus. In 1 Corinthians 2 verse 1, let's open to 1 Corinthians 2 verse 1. It has a lot to do, we have a lot to learn in this meeting and I expect the majority of the church to actually be available tonight. Glory to God. Why we actually still trust God that they are coming? Why that is being like that? Glory to God.
Amen. 1 Corinthians chapter 2 from verse 1. Glory to God. Let's look at what is put there from 1 Corinthians chapter 2 verse 1. And I brethren, when I come to you, I came not with the excellency of speech. Or of wisdom declaring unto you the testimony of God. Glory to God. Are we there? Okay. Hallelujah. Let me say something like that in Psalm 119. Glory to God. Amen. And look at it now. 1 Corinthians chapter 2 verse 1 says, and I brethren, and I.
When I came to you, I came not with the excellency of speech. Or of wisdom declaring unto you the testimony of God. So meaning, my coming to you, I didn't come to you just because I am a narrator. I didn't come to you because I am very skilful when it comes to preaching or when it comes to speaking English or when it comes to the affairs of life. I am very skilful when it comes to understanding the affairs of life.
So that is not actually the reason for my coming. So I came not with the excellency of speech. Or of wisdom. Glory to God. Declaring unto you. Look at what I said. Declaring unto you the testimony of God. So I didn't come to you in declaring the counsel of God or the testimony of God to you by the reason of coming to you and saying, talking about theses, talking about geography, talking about the social studies, social affairs.
Are you getting it now? So my coming to you was not in that form. My coming to you was not through that. My coming to you was not because of that. So that was not the aim of my coming to you. So I came to you so as to say for I determined not to know. Glory to God. I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ. The word saved here means except Jesus Christ and in crucifer.
Glory to God. Glory to God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ that is in the crucifer. So I come to you just to paint the picture of the crucifixion to you. What comes with you. What you enjoy. What lies ahead of you. What you have when you receive the crucifixion of Jesus. That is why I came to you. I came to you for that purpose so that you might gain. You might gain and you cannot actually truly gain without.
Are you listening? You cannot actually gain without excellency of that. Are you getting it now? And also I did not come to you just to come and give you different theories, different oratory because that is not the purpose of being born of God. Glory to God. Thank God for that but there is much more to that. Glory to God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and in crucifer. And you see actually that is what I said earlier.
Our knowledge of crucifixion we actually play a vital role, a major role, a key role in the move of spirit in our lives. So one thing that we should know about when we come to the believers meeting like this. One thing that we should be familiar with is that in believers meeting there are a lot of things that we need to play out. Glory to God. In the believers meeting we learn how to walk in love among ourselves.
It is in believers meeting we learn what the African call home training. It is actually home training in the search of family at home. Are you getting it now? But in believers meeting is where we learn how to have home training in the church. How to have church training. Did you understand that now? So that is how God designed it. That when we come together like this that each one of us we contribute. It is in the believers meeting that everybody that comes to believers meeting contributes.
We have one thing or the other shared among ourselves. So believers meeting is not a show love meeting. Did you understand that now? Believers meeting is not a show love meeting. Believers meeting is not a meeting where somebody will take the stage. Or true. Believers meeting is a joint participation meeting. It is a meeting that everybody participates. It is a meeting where everybody participates. It is a meeting where we learn the things of the spirit. It is in believers meeting that we activate the things of the spirit.
It is in believers meeting that we learn how to raise the dead. It is in believers meeting that the manifestation of the spirit is mighty among the brethren. It is in believers meeting that we actually put the capacity at work in us into use. We react the capacity of Christ at work in us. So that by the time we are outside there we will be able or we are able to carry out those things that we have reacted among ourselves.
Glory to God. So it is in believers meeting that we put all things to work. We put all these things to practice. We put it to practice. And then it is actually in believers meeting that we correct ourselves. That no that is not how to do it. This is how to do it. Believers meeting is not a stage for mockery. Believers meeting is not a place where one is trying to assign another. Believers meeting is not a place where one is trying to assign another.
There are more people in this. Believers meeting is where we sharpening each other. Glory to God. It is a sharpening meeting. It is a sharpening meeting. It is a confection meeting where we confect. We confect. We confect. Is there? Is there? Is there? Confect. Confect. Confect. That is where we confect. We confect the capacity that somebody else have. One among us have. That is what happens in believers meeting. We confect the grace of God in somebody else.
Glory to God. The same grace that works in somebody else, the grace that works in this person's life, the grace that works in this person's life, that is what has worked in your life. We confect it in believers meeting. It is believers meeting that we learn how to sharpen our player life. It is in believers meeting that we learn how to work in order. It is in believers meeting that we learn how to properly position ourselves to receive of the Lord in all our other meetings.
It is in believers meeting that we set the right pattern as a believer. Glory to God. So there are much more to learn when we come to believers meeting like this. We are now saying that this believers meeting that we are talking about, we can never, we can never, we can never maximize, we can never enjoy believers meeting to the full length, hallelujah, without adequate knowledge of crucifixion and resurrection. We cannot actually maximize or judiciously understand the purpose of believers meeting without adequate understanding of crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
So that knowledge actually play a vital role. Knowledge actually play a vital role in the move of the spirit among the brethren. Knowledge play a vital role. So that is what Braport was saying in 1 Corinthians chapter 2. He said when I come to you, I did not come to you because I am very skilful in English. So believers meeting is not where somebody, is not where the English is being, somebody's English is being noted. So we don't know English, we don't know the phonetic, we don't know the natural phonetic of somebody.
We actually pay attention to the manifestation of the spirit in that believers life. Glory to God. So that is what play out in believers meeting. In believers meeting is not the place where, that is what Braport said. Look at what he said again. He said, declaring unto you the testimony of God. So what is the testimony of God? How Christ died and he was buried. How Jesus died and was buried and on the third day he rose again.
So we have to familiarize ourselves with that knowledge very, very, very well. Very, very well. We have to pay adequate attention to that. So anything outside that, because if you don't pay attention to that, you know, every other thing you want to lay, if you don't set the foundation right, every other thing that you are laying on it will be wrong. Anything you are laying on it will be wrong. So we must pay attention to that reality and we must be, in fact we must try to get the, to get for the standing of Christ right.
Or the standing of his dead, burial and resurrection right. So because it is from there that you will be able to know that this is the capacity that I have in him. This is what I have in him. So if you are still in the stage where you are still arguing, you are still arguing concerning the things of the spirit in one way or the other. Ok, no, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, In the power of God, 1 Thessalonians chapter 1 verse 9 says, Our gospel, our gospel, our gospel came not into you in word only, but also in power, in power, that means came to you in Holy, Holy Spirit And in much more assurance, as you know that man and of men were among you for your sake, glory to God, so we give a conduct according to the spirit that worketh in us, our conduct become according to the power of God that worketh in us, our conduct, our manifestation, our manifestation is according to the power of God that worketh in us Our manifestation, 1 Thessalonians chapter 1 verse 9, glory to God, our manifestation is according to the power of God, is according to the power of God So our faith, meaning, our faith, our faith is in the manifestation, is in what the spirit can do, our faith is in what the spirit can do, our faith is in what the Holy Spirit can rush through man Our faith is displayed, our faith is actually played out, so we submit ourselves to the move, to the conduct of the spirit, so within all things are possible Glory to God, glory to God, glory to God, glory to God, glory to God Among them that are perfect, we speak wisdom among them that are perfect, hallelujah, the word perfect there actually means mature, that are mature, so when we are talking about perfect there, so that the mind will not be shifted to something else Sometimes I am thinking of perfection, somebody that is not smoking, somebody that is not drinking, somebody that is not fornicating or stuff like that, we are not saying that a believer should do that, a believer cannot even be doing that, so we are not talking about the mature, among them that are mature, we are talking about among them that are mature is actually referring to They that have acknowledged, do you understand that now, they that have acknowledged, how be it we speak wisdom among them that are mature, that are perfect, yet not the wisdom of this world, glory to God, not yet the wisdom of this world, nor of the princess of this world, glory to God Glory to God, but we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, we speak the wisdom of God where, in a mystery, even in wisdom which God ordained, which God predestined before the world, before the ages unto our glory Which one of the princess of this world knew, for as they know it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory, glory to God, hallelujah, so what do we speak, we speak our reality, hallelujah So, according to that, but we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, hallelujah, we speak it in a mystery, so when you stand up now, when there is a lame man, when there is a blind people in this place tonight, and then we just I just speak a word, and they started saying, or the lame man will just speak to the leg, that the leg should grow, and the leg started growing, that thing, how will it sound to ordinary man, to the princess of this world, or to just common man, a mystery, have you? That's a mystery, but to us that are mature, that are born of him, that are mature, what is it to us? That's the manifestation of the spirit, that's actually our reality, have you? That's actually our reality, so it's not a mystery to us, so the question should not be, was it actually intended to be a mystery? Was it actually intended to be a mystery? So, but because of their comprehension, because of their level, because of where they are, because of their status, because of their status, so they cannot comprehend, they cannot agree, they cannot fathom it, they cannot fathom how come, the only best way we know this thing can be, is actually maybe through a surgery Are you getting it now? Probably through a surgery, but now, look at what they have done, it just cost an eye to open, an eye that's not been there to open, glory to God, so meaning, so what's called mystery, is not a mystery to us Hello, what the world calls mystery, is not actually a mystery to us, it's actually our reality, born again as a believer, it's not actually a mystery to us, so but to them, it's mysterious, so God is not the one hiding it, it's become a mystery to us, to them, because they don't have the capacity to receive it, so the explanation, the explanation, are you getting now, the explanation of that mystery, is what we receive through the crucifixion and the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, did you understand that now? So we receive the explanation to the mystery, so we have received explanation, we have received the details, so it's no more a mystery to us, we have received the explanation, the details of what they term as a mystery, what mystery to them, we have received the details, so it's no more a mystery to us So now we can command things to be, we can function in the reality of that God, that mysterious God, we can function in his reality, so for that God to function, so we have to be active, we have to manifest, that's the manifestation of the Son, Hallelujah, glory to Jesus So God is bringing all his men, all his electors, all his team, to that place of manifestation of the Spirit, as it was in the days of Apostles, glory to God You know, you remember in Acts chapter what, in Acts chapter, was that not Acts chapter 6, thereabouts, Acts chapter 6, glory to God, in Acts chapter 6, remember in Acts chapter 6, let's go there, verse 1 And in those days, when the number of disciples was multiplied, the arrows and mummering, okay, no, no, no, no, that should be, okay, Acts chapter, that should be Acts chapter 3 now, okay, now Acts chapter 3 verse 1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple, and a certain man, lame from his mother's womb, was carried, whom they laid daily, at the gate of the temple, which is called beautiful, to ask them of them that are entered into the temple.
Then Peter and John, about to go into the temple, asked them, glory to God, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4 verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4 verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4 verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4, verse 4 that the God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, of her father, hath glorified his Son, Jesus, whom ye delivered of, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.
So you see now, so the revelation of the mystery come to them as it came to Peter, and John, and others too. But they denied him before Pilate. So it remain as what to them? As a mystery to them. So they cannot function in that capacity that they function. So now, when other people are functioning in that, it become what? It become mystery to them. So according to the wisdom of man, that thing cannot be. But according to the faith in the wisdom of God, that has been.
That the man work. Glory to God. I hear it again, and again now, in this year, don't let your faith be in the wisdom of man. The wisdom of man will fail you, if you dare. Look at it now, look at the next thing. But he denied the only one, he denied the only one, and just, and the just, and desire, a murderer to be granted unto you, and kill the prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead, whereof we are witness.
We are witness. Glory to God. And his name, through faith in his name. Where? Faith what? Faith in his name. That's the same thing man, faith in the wisdom of God. That's the wisdom of God. Faith in his name, hath made this man strong, whom you see now. And his name, through faith in his name, hath made this man strong, whom you see and know. You, yeah, the faith which is by him, hath given him this perfect soundness, in the presence of you all.
Glory to God. Hath given him perfect, in presence of whom? And now brethren, I was that through the ignorance you did this, but also you do. So, but those things which God before hath issued by the mouth of all the prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath made. So now, if you read further, hello, if you read further, you see how Peter was trying all his possible best to make sure, Peter and John was trying their best to make this, what they term as a mystery, to reveal it to them, so that they do not remain as a mystery.
So the testimony of God in 1 Corinthians means the message in the mouth of Isaiah. Did you understand now? So the testimony of God, the testimony of God that we read in 1 Corinthians 2, it actually means the message in the mouth of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Moses. That is the testimony, the testimony of God. Hallelujah. Let's go back to that 1 Corinthians. Let's go back to 1 Corinthians. Glory to God. 1 Corinthians chapter 2. Let's go back to 1 Corinthians chapter 2.
Verse 1. It says, declaring unto you the testimony of God. It says, and brethren, when I came to you, I came not with the excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the what? The testimony of God. So what is the testimony of God again? The messages, the message, not only the messages, it's actually the messages because many of them said it, but the message in the mouth of each one of them, in the mouth of Moses, in the mouth of David, so the content of their message, that is actually the testimony that Rapport was referring to as the testimony of God.
Praise to you the Lord. Hallelujah. Are you blessed? Glory to God. So, demonstration of the Spirit. The testimony of God from the prophet and the son. Hallelujah. The epistle brings clear witness to the act of apostle in act. The effect of 40 days was sudden, but the effect wasn't sudden. The effect of 40 days was actually sudden, but the effect wasn't sudden. The effect of 40 days was sudden, but the effect wasn't sudden. Acts chapter 2 was the product of 40 days.
That is how to begin this deliverance meeting. So we continue from there tomorrow. Glory to God. We continue from there tomorrow. Let's go ahead and stop in time for a few more minutes. Let's go ahead and stop in time for a few more minutes.
