Welcome to this podcast. We will start to read from Psalm 95. O come, let us sing unto the Lord. Let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving and make a joyful noise unto him with songs. For the Lord is a great God and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth. The strength of the hills is his also. The sea is his, and he made it in his hands, formed the dry land. O come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker. For he is our God and we are the people of his pasture and the sheep of his hand. Harden not your heart as in the provocation... Hold on. Today if we will hear his voice... You just have to avoid these ones, but the blue is for other purposes. Okay. Yeah. Today if you will hear his voice, harden not your heart as in the provocation, as in the day of temptation in the wilderness. When your fathers tempted me and proved me and saw my work. Forty years long was I grieved with this generation and said, it is a people that do err in their heart and they have not known my ways. Unto whom I swear in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest. Yeah. And it shows that David has the right heart and he is writing this psalm. And he is showing as a prophet what will happen in the end days to the people that grieve the Lord, that grieve the Holy Spirit and always go astray in their heart and have not known God's ways. Yeah. His wrath is pent up for those people and I would not like to be left behind after the rapture. I really pity those people who are, even though they are evil, I pity them. The other verse, Danny, was 1 Samuel 17, 47. What chapter? 17. 17. Verse 47. 47. And all of this chapter, all of this chapter is about David and Goliath and how David says, how dare you say something against our God and our people. And it was a giant he was confronted with. Yeah. The whole Israel's army was scared of this giant and he had four brothers, also giants. And that's why David picked up five stones. He was ready to take out all the five. But when he took down the one, the battle changed. Yeah. And in verse 47, it says, and all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear for the battle is the Lord's and he will give you into our hands. And then it goes on in 48 and says, and it came to pass when the Philistine arose and came and drew nigh to meet David. David hastened and ran towards the army to meet the Philistine. And David put his hand in his bag and took thence a stone and slung it and smote the Philistine in his forehead. That the stone sunk into his forehead and he fell upon his face to the earth. So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone and smote the Philistine and slew him. But there was no sword in the hands of David. Therefore, David ran and stood upon the Philistine and took his sword and drew it out of the sheath thereof and slew him and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistine saw their champion was dead, they fled. And the men of Israel and Judah arose and shouted and pursued the Philistines until they came to the valley and to the gates of Ekron. And the wounded of the Philistines fell down by the way to Sharon, even on to Gath and on to Ekron. And the children of Israel returned from chasing after the Philistines and they spoiled their tents. They took everything of value there. And David took the head of the Philistine and brought it to Jerusalem. But he put his armor in his tent. And when Saul, the king, saw David go forth against the Philistine, he said unto Abner, the captain of the host, Abner, whose son is this youth? And Abner said, As my soul liveth, O king, I cannot tell. And the king said, Inquire thou whose son this stripling is. And David returned from the slaughter of the Philistine. And Abner took him and brought him before Saul, with the head of the Philistine in his hand. And Saul said to him, Whose son art thou, young man? And David answered, I am the son of thy servant Jesse, the Bethlehemite. Bethlehemite. Bethlehemite. And this just goes to show that God gives us victory when we stand on his word. When we trust in the Lord, we cannot be defeated. And although all these grown men were afraid of this giant, a little boy named David trusted in the Lord and did what God chose him to do. He was prophetic. And he said that he would kill this guy, Goliath. And so he did. Yeah. And it just goes to show you that in the end times there will be two groups. There will be the giants and all the wicked people in their bunkers. And there will be the other people who are just treated as drones. Yeah. And in amongst those drones there will be some Christians, some people who turn to God in the end times, in the latter days. Yeah. And they will be under attack from the wicked people. They will be persecuted. And we just have to continue to trust in the Lord. We must place all our trust in his might, not in our own. I mean, working out and keeping in shape and studying martial arts, a lot of people do those things, but they won't help you in the end result. It's only the Holy Spirit, the power of God that will help you. Yeah. Do you have anything to say, Danny? Yeah. A few days or years ago we talked about this. And I said to you, it's interesting because you have Absalon, the rich guy. Zacchaeus. No. The leader... The Freemasons worship... Abaddon. No. He had so many wives and they led him astray. Solomon. Solomon, exactly. I don't know why I couldn't remember his name. But we compared Solomon to David. Solomon, he got riches beyond measure and he got to be a leader and so did David. But if we should choose if we wanted to have a life like David or Solomon, definitely we would have a life like David. Because Solomon, he lost his faith and he... Defiled himself. Defiled himself and had a lot of women and he was able to control all the demons of the enemy's army so they would do his bidding. But he didn't realize when he used them to do his bidding and he could control them, they were actually controlling him. It always has a side effect when you use the enemy's power. And many people today, well, yeah, many people today, they seek powerful things. I won't go into detail, but you have many things that can empower you. Like clairvoyance. Yeah, and many things. And even language can use power expressions, but we are told not to use those things. And you see, there's no power in a statue you make. Imagine you cut down a tree or you find a rock and you sculpture it. And then you say, bless me and worship this little item, dead thing. But the fact that you do those, if you do those things, you tune in to the enemy's power and sure enough, there's power in many things in this world. But people don't ask themselves, what is it for power that is behind the things we do? What is the source? What is the source of the power? And are the powers affecting me and using me for their benefit? Or am I using them for my benefit? And neither way is not good. So, we have David on the other hand. He had many battles. He had many struggles. And he also, as Kate said, made a lot of the songs. And you could say he had a rich life, but he was not perfect. Far from it. He even killed a man to be able to marry or be together with his wife. And the thing about David was, when he was convicted about his sinful way, he repented and he turned around. He humbled himself before God. He humbled himself before God. And something I haven't really thought about and understood, about my mother. My mother, she had a mental illness. Illness. Illness called, what do you call that? Bipolar. Bipolar. And it's not easy. In her case, it was very difficult to be bipolar and have a lot of strife in her family. She had two sisters, so there were three sisters. And at all times, two of the sisters stuck together against the third one. And they took turns on who was the bad one. It was just horrible. And they were put in, when she was a young teen and younger, she was put together with the other two sisters on top of the house. In the attic. In the attic. And they just were evil to each other. But my mother became an alcoholic of these reasons and she drank alcohol for many years. At one point, she was told that she would die if she didn't stop. And she got scared and she tried to limit how much she was drinking. But that was only for a season and then she was on it again. And she tried to kill herself 20 or 30 times. Many, many times. And it's not exaggerated. She even jumped out from a ferry 30 meters down and broke her hip when she hit the water. And she tried to kill herself with pills and many, many ways she tried to kill herself. My little sister found her dead many times and she had to be resurrected or revived. And near death, I would say, because she was not gone totally. But even though she was drinking and trying to kill herself all those times, God saw something in her we didn't see. When she was getting married to my father, pretty young, they were both Christians. And they became communists soon after they got married. And my mother lost the faith in Jesus, but not my father. But what I didn't understand was, you see, my mother, half a year, 6 months before she died of an operation, she turned back to God. One of the reasons she turned back to God was because she was watching me, my life. I lived on foster homes and institutions and collectives most of my life. I only lived home for 2 or 3 years or so, 6 years total of my life. I went into drugs and alcohol and pills and whatever I could mix and match together. I just took it all and I even wore a junkie on the needle. And my mother saw that maybe 20 times I went into rehab. And I completed the rehab and then I was reintroduced into the society. But every time I was introduced to the society, I fell again and again. But what my mother saw was something that was supernatural because I never gave up. I continued the battle and I took and went back many of the times to the same place in rehab. And that spoke to her so she had to admit that there is a God and he was blessing me because I wanted to get out of addiction. And she felt guilty of me being addicted because she was both smoking and drinking and smoking weed and taking pills when she was pregnant with me. So I don't know a life without substances. Before I really got hold of my life 10 years ago and I have been free from it ever since. But what I didn't understand about my mother because she was drinking alcohol not every day but she was drinking alcohol up till she was dying of a simple operation. The Bible says no drunkard will inherit heaven and I couldn't understand because God told me and showed me my mother was in heaven after she died of the operation. And I didn't doubt it. I just knew it. I cannot explain how but I just knew she was in God's hand. And now I understand it. It's the last month I got a grip of it because God judges righteously and he does say an alcoholic will not enter into heaven. But when are you an alcoholic and when are you a victim? That's the question. And if you are a victim that are striving and fighting to get out of addiction you show an attitude of resisting the devil and fighting a battle to the teeth. And God sees that and he rewards those that seek him diligently. So even though my mother fell back into drinking in periods God could save her anyway. And God is the ultimate judge. This is not an excuse to just go out and drink because that's the wrong attitude but it is an encouragement that even though we are falling in sinful ways when we try to repent from it and turn around God will help us and he will reward us. For fighting the good fight that is. And speaking of fighting the Lord fought for David again in 2 Samuel chapter 22 it talks about And David spake unto the Lord the words of this song in the day that the Lord had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies and out of the hand of Saul the previous king. And it's quite a long chapter I won't read it all but in verse 47 and on it says He is the tower of salvation for his king. And show us mercy to his anointed unto David and to his seed forevermore. And Jesus came out of the household of David that was his lineage and he is the seed of David that is king forevermore. God fights for us. Be blessed and let the Holy Spirit always guide you. Bye for now.
