Nothing to say, yet
Dr. Fay shares scriptures for those feeling lonely, depressed, and anxious during the holidays. The main message is that nothing can separate us from the love of God, regardless of our circumstances. We are encouraged to be strong, courageous, and trust that God is with us. The scripture from Psalms 23 provides comfort and reassurance. Reading it daily can shift our emotions to a place of victory. Welcome everyone. This is Dr. Fay and you're listening to Faith Alive in 5, the five-minute gospel. I would like to share a couple of scriptures with those of you who are feeling lonely, depressed, and anxious this month. Holidays are upon us and there are a lot of people that are worried about COVID, worried about, just worried. I want to remind you of a few things through scripture today. One is from the book of Romans in chapter 8, one of my favorite all-time passages and I trust that it will be yours after today. In Romans 8 and 35 it says, who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written, for your sake we are being killed all the day long. We are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered. No, in all these things, I underline that, highlight it, hashtag it, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life nor angels nor rulers nor things present nor things to come nor powers nor height nor depth nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. So in spite of everything we've gone through and out of spite of everything the world has gone through, it has not stopped the love of God. God still loves you regardless of what you're going through right now, regardless of how many times you have even contemplated hurting yourself or your kids or someone around you. God loves you just the way you are and he wants you to know that and be that present help for you in the time of trouble. He said nothing can separate you not the COVID, not diseases, not stresses, not money problems, nothing can separate you from his love. In Deuteronomy 31 and 6 the scripture says be strong and courageous don't be afraid or dread them whatever the them is in your life for it is the Lord your God it's him who is going with you he will not leave you nor will he forsake you get that into your subconscious get that into your soul he will not leave you nor forsake you feel the feeling of God being with you feel the feeling of all heaven being on your side feel the feeling of heaven celebrating your victory you see God sees the end from the beginning so he already sees you on the other side of this storm he sees you on the other side of this mental stressor he sees you on the other side of this financial upheaval he sees you on the other side first Corinthians 10 and 13 says no temptation has taken you but such as is common to man God is faithful and he will not allow you to be tempted above your ability but with the temptation he'll make a way of escape that you may be able to bear it when you feel like you can't take another day when you feel like that's just it I can't go on I can't do anything else just remember to remember God has already made a way if you'll just take a deep breath again here she comes with that breath take a deep breath again relax release let go relax release and let go you will find the answer has been within you all the time he will teach you how you can recover nicely from every storm from every trial from every temptation because he was tempted in all points just as we are but he was without sin David said in Psalms 23 and I'll wrap it up the Lord is my shepherd and I shall not want he makes me to lie down in green pastures he leads me beside still waters he restores my soul he leads me in paths of righteousness for his namesake even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for you are with me your rod and your staff they comfort me you prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies you anoint my head with oil my cup overflows read that daily and I promise you you will shift your emotions and to a place of feeling victorious I'm Dr. Faye and this is another Faith Alive and Find the Five-Minute Gospel I'll see you next time
