The event was special because of the professionalism and welcoming atmosphere. The organizer, Tim, checked in on the speaker and there was a sense of community with familiar faces and a supportive environment. The event brought people of all abilities together and encouraged support and care for one another. This made the event at MetCon Rush in Maryland feel very special. What I thought really set the event apart was the professionalism and how welcoming everybody was when you walked into the door each day. You know, when I came from Boston down to Maryland, had to take a flight to Baltimore, took an hour car ride through the middle of nowhere to get to Hagerstown, and the whole time and, you know, the months leading up to it, Tim was checking in on me and everyone that I had met at previous events before or people that I was able to get in touch with before were looking out, and it was just, it was great, I felt like I was doing an event back home with people that I've already known, and I thought it was awesome that it was like a little family there. It was. It was like a little family with all the volunteers, the athletes, you know, the fans, everybody watching. It was like we were all seeing each other and knew each other from previous events before, and that is what made it feel so special, especially for the community aspect where you hear that thrown out a lot, where it's, you know, my community does this, our community does that, but really what sets it apart is how well people get along and the connectedness through this event. It allowed for people of all different abilities to kind of come together and for a common kind of thing where it was, hey, we're just going to go out there and give it our all, and whether you're on the floor to my left or my right or whether you're just an entirely different division or even if you're competing on an entirely different day, you know, I'm going to support you. I'm going to show, you know, hey, you got this. I'm going to encourage you. I'm going to care about you, and that is what made, you know, another thing that made this event super special down in Maryland at MetCon Rush.
