Revelations-The Assembly at Pergamum-Part 5

This is a weekly radio broadcast called "Let Us Reason Together" that focuses on preparing for the coming of the King and the restoration of the whole house of Israel. The current message is about the prerequisite of salvation. The book of Revelations is written specifically for born servants of Yeshua, and studying it brings a blessing. The message discusses the assembly in Pergamos, which worshipped pagan gods along with Yahweh. Yeshua warns them about adhering to false teachings and urges them to repent. The two-edged sword mentioned is the word of Elohim, which is Yeshua. They were worshipping Dionysus, the god of wine and fertility, who was seen as the king of kings and the god of gods. The people need to hold fast to the name of Yahweh. Hello, New Zealand and the world. Welcome to the program, Let Us Reason Together, a weekly radio broadcast to prepare us for the coming of the King and the restoration of the whole house of Israel. Kihila in Pergamos. This message for me, all the messages are important, but this one for me stands out because this deals with the prerequisite of salvation. Now if we read just the few verses which deals with Pergamos, then you may have already read it ten times and it doesn't sort of spring out. Therefore we have to go a little bit back into the background of what was happening at that time and what did the people worship for the words that Yeshua gives to this particular Kihila. Why are they so important? And in our series we have noted that the book of Revelations is written specifically to the born servants of Yeshua. It's not just written to anybody. It's written to the born servants of Yeshua and they will understand it when they study it and it is the only book in scripture that when you study this specific book that you will get a blessing. We've looked in the series so far to the Millennial Kingdom, is it indeed scriptural? And yes it is. What is the greatest or the final day of Yahweh at the end of the Messianic Kingdom? Therefore what will befall Jacob at the end of this age? Well the regathering back to the land. The church of Ephesus or the Kihila at Ephesus we looked at the tree of life and in Smyrna do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. And today's message we find in Revelations 2 from verse 12 to 17 and I've marked in red what the issues are. And it reads and to the messengers of the assembly of Pergamos write he who has a sharp two edged sword says this I know your works and where you dwell where the throne of Satan is and you hold fast to my name and did not deny the faith in me even in the days in which Antipas my trusted witness was killed near you where Satan dwells. But I hold a few matters against you because you have those who adhere to the teachings of Balaam who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel to eat food offered to idols and to commit whoring. So you also have those who adhere to the teachings of the Nicolaitans which teaching I hate. Repent or else I shall come to you speedily and fight against them with the sword of my mouth. He who has ears let him hear what the spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes I shall give some of the hidden manna to eat and I shall give him a white stone and a stone a renewed name written this no one knows except him who receives it. And to the messengers of the assembly of Teatera which is the next one we will continue next month. So for us to understand the few words that are written here and the significance that they bring we need to go back as to what was worshipped at the time by the people. Not only then but you will see through the whole of scripture particularly for example if you study the books of Kings that there is a great mixing of worship going on. People even today all this there is nothing new under the sun. You can preach this in the day of Adam to Noah or in the days from Noah to Nimrod. All remains the same. Same situation is happening. And we see that they mix their worship. People thought that they were worshipping Yahweh when they were worshipping Baal you know. Baal worship well they said well we are not really worshipping it's worship orientated to Yahweh. But they were worshipping Baal and they mixed the whole thing up and so it is today. And in these assemblies at Pergamon which was situated a little north east of Smyrna it was a very very beautiful looking place this is how it looks like today which gives you a little bit of a impression. But of course they also worshipped pagan gods. And it is in relation to the setting of the pagan gods and the worship thereof that Yeshua says to this very small messianic believers the words that I have just read. Here is old Pergamos and it is a place where the scripture says we have the seat of Satan. Therefore the issues that were plaguing Panagon were the following. Who is speaking here? Who is this two edged sword? What about this seat of Satan? And then we will deal with the name because Yeshua says you have not forgotten my name. And this name is vital. And most people even in the messianic movement today there are also many teachers who still happily use other names rather than the name. But he commended this congregation that they knew his name and we are going to go into this in quite some detail because it is very important. And then he says you did not give away the truth or the faith. And the word there is the truth and the truth is the doctrine of Yahovah or Yahweh. Then we will deal with the doctrines of Balaam and the doctrines of the Nicolaitans what they are. And they are practiced very much today. And then we see again that we need to repent from all that because then we will be given the hidden manna and the new name. Okay who is this two edged sword? Well we know from the gospel of John that in the beginning was the word and that the word was Elohim. That word became flesh. And we see from Ephesians 6 verse 17 that the sword of the spirit is the word of Elohim. And from Hebrews 4 verse 12 we see that the word of Elohim is the two edged sword. So the two edged sword is the word of Elohim which is Yeshua because he is the word. So why do we say this well some people say well it was just an angel who visited John. No this was Yeshua Mashiach who visited and spoke specifically to these kihi lot or to these assemblies. So it is Yeshua who is speaking here and therefore it gives the passage much authority particularly when we come to the name and to the truth. So what gods were they worshipping in Pergamon? In Pergamon they were worshipping the god Dionysus. And who is this Dionysus? Well Dionysus is the god of wine and drunken rivalry in Greek mythology. So if we look around us today it could well as be that we are worshipping Dionysus because you know wine and drunkenness is rife not only through our society here but worldwide. He was the god of agriculture and fertility and as you can see he was seen as the half brother of Apollo and although Apollo was of celibacy Dionysus was the absolute opposite. He was of libido and gratification exactly what is going on in our world today. You don't need to write all this down if you don't want to because I can send this whole thing to you by email again as I did last time if you want it. Here he is Dionysus with his wine cup and he was the son of Zeus. And Dionysus was hailed as the king of kings and the god of gods and he was also the god of the begotten virgin, the born anointed one or the Christos. So then it becomes very important you know if you are talking that you serve Christos as to what and which Christos you are talking about which is also very irrelevant today because today in all sorts of circles you know I have a friend staying with me from Asia at the moment and he says you know it's all irrelevant Yahweh and Buddha and Allah they are all one and the same so you know let's not argue about this that's what it's all about. Well that's not what it's all about because here we see quite clearly that Dionysus is the king of kings and the god of gods. And we will see that also in the old pagan societies they all had their king of kings and their god of gods. And therefore today it is very important that we distinguish between one or the other. Because the people already in BCE before the Christian era had Dionysus and Yahweh they were literally two sides of one coin and these coins were found in Gaza which on one hand showed Yahweh and on the other hand showed Dionysus, right? Being one and the same god, right? And if you see what type of worship these people did well first and most primitively a king was torn to pieces that was a pseudo king of course and the priestesses criminalized and provided both the earth and the women's womb with blood, his blood making an offering and his wine and his blood was this offering. A king surrogate in the form of a criminal was taken and was chosen and next he was substituted with an animal which was then killed and offered on this altar in Eleusis. And here is Eleusis and here are the ruins of this particular place where all this stuff took place. With all the temple prostitutes and the drinking and you name it, right? I mean you know we have now you know jazz concerts and world music and all that goes with it in that church down in Tiran because somehow you have to feel the place and feel the place and it's got to keep on going, right? And that's exactly how they did it there and then we see of course in this part of scripture that Yeshua says you were close to Satan's seat. That was Satan at his best in Dionysus with his whole temple ritual and his worship and so on. And here we have it and here you see the altar and that altar was Satan's seat. You know Satan's seat you can still find and visit it today. Because Satan's seat is in Berlin in a museum. So if you wish to go and see it the Germans have put it to you for you in a nice museum for you to go and see. You can think about certain of the leadership of Germany in the not too past future who were instruments of Satan. That's why perhaps his teeth is there. And on the top of this altar here were those offerings made to those false gods and in relation to all that and all that is going on there is this small tequila to which Yeshua says you have honored and remembered my name. Okay well we can stop there and say okay well that was nice but what does that mean? Yeshua doesn't mean that if you hold fast to my name then you must hold fast to the name of YHWH because that is his name. He is and who was and who is to come. They held fast to the name of Yahweh. He who is, who was and who is to come who says in the Torah this is my name forever and this is my memorial unto all generations. Also to messianic teachers in America who for one reason or another refuse to use it and when people question about it they say don't worry you don't understand. You know we are the enlightened ones you are just making you know this is my name forever and this is my memorial to you. This is how I want to be known. I do not want to be known by Baal or Deenosimus or whatever his name was or here or senior. My name is Yahweh and he says to those people who are living by the throne of Satan you have kept and honored my name. Exodus 3.15. And we know that the name of Yeshua who is Yahweh the Savior. He was not called Yeshua from day one. We know him for example I only give you one text in Isaiah 9.6. We know him that he is the wonderful, the counselor, the mighty Elohim, the everlasting father and he is the prince of Shalom. And we also know him as the light and the day as we have seen in past teachings. That's how he was known in the Torah and in the Brit Hadashah or in the New Testament it was said to Miriam and you shall call his name Yahoshua for he shall save his people from their sins. And as we will see this morning there is much in a name as Danny has already found out when he has been starting to study certain groups of names. It shows that the book of Revelation is the deliverance and salvation plan of Israel. And I am going to prove to you this morning that the people in Pergamos were not an institutionalized church or a Christian congregation but that the opposite is true merely by the testimony of Yeshua. That's why this is authoritative because it is him who is speaking. You shall call him Yeshua because he is going to save his people. And in Malachi chapter 3 verse 16 right Yahweh as we have seen before has books. And he is listening to us right now according to this text. Then they that fear Yehovah speak often one to another. We are speaking one to another every month right. And Yehovah hearkened and heard it. Because he is present here. Because where two or three are present in his name and we are present in the name of Yahweh he says that's where I will be also. And a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared Yahweh and that honor his name. So all those of that congregation in Pergamos are written in the books of Yahweh because he says you honoring my name. And they shall be mine saith Yahweh of hosts and the day that I prepare a treasured possession and I shall spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him. Because you see if you are in the name of Yahweh he is going to spare you. Malachi 3.17 Salvation is only in one name not in five names not in ten names but in one name. That's why this message to Pergamos is vital. Neither is there salvation in any other name. So you can be a messiah and a preacher and preach in the name of God and the Lord and what have you. He's got nothing to do with all this. It is Yahweh who has everything to do with all this and we are going to take our cue in a minute from Abraham our father. Neither is there salvation in any other name. Under heaven given among men whereby men must be saved. Acts chapter 4 verse 12. Our sins have been forgiven on account of what? On account of his name. The ark of the covenant is called by my name. What's his name? Yahweh is his name. They knew that in Pergamos and they may not know it in America but they knew it in Pergamos. That congregation living next door to the seat of Satan. Forgiveness is in the name. To him give all the prophets witness that through his name whosoever believe in him shall receive the remission of their Torah violations. This is in Acts chapter 10 verse 43. Remission of your Torah violations is only ever in that one name which is Yahweh your saviour. It is not Isus, it's not Zeus, it's not Dinosinus, it's not Allah, Buddha, it is only in that one name and that one name, by that one name he wants to be remembered to all generations. Here we have the transliteration of Yeshua into Jesus. Jesus and Yeshua are not one and the same. Yahshua is the Hebrew, Isus the Greek, Isus the Latin and then we came into English in Jesus. Now, if we look at this and we look at the synopsis of the origins and the evolution of the false name Jesus, then we see from the Hebrew text because if you look in for example the book of Isaiah, wherever you read Yahweh the saviour is Yeshua, right? And that's his name, Yeshua is his name who is Yahweh who saves and we've picked this already up in the Old Testament and in the Torah 3,250 years ago. Then in the coin which is Greek, LXX translation of the name Isus is 2,300 years ago. Then we go to the anti-Semitic ecclesiastical name written as Yesus or Ysus 1,500 years ago coming to the Latin name Isus 400 years ago and 300 to 200 years ago we translated that in the English as Jesus because earlier than that there was not even a J in the alphabet. So this Jesus is not more than a few hundred years old. And Jesus as part of the institutionalized church is the one who does away with the Torah of Yahweh and therefore he has brought in all the new rules that Christianity keeps. Therefore they cannot be one and the same. And in those days of those false gods you see we had even under Constantine we wanted to create one nation under God, doesn't matter who he was. And the name Isus came from merging the name Yahweh and the Greco-Roman god Zeus. A very popular 1st century Egyptian god Serapis was the result of merging Orises and Ulphs together. And they did this very successfully and in Roman times they tried to do it again and I think they succeeded to a large degree. So they mixed up these deities, you know, so that they were believable to all and everybody. But they were totally pagan, they were totally pagan in their origins. So the object of the exercise was, particularly in Roman Catholicism, okay if we have Germans in Germany who are worshipping God X and they had, you know, festivals, you know, in December when the skies were low and it was very dark and they burned and they had trees with lights. So we Christianized everything to make that everybody was acceptable to everybody and we called Zeus Yahweh and Yahweh Zeus and we put both heads on the one coin and we mixed the whole thing up. Nothing new under the sun, happened to Israel, you just read the book of Kings. But who is the most high Elohim? They all had their most high gods, right? Well you must take your cue from Abraham our father. And Abraham he was visited by Melchizedek, Mel is king, Sadek is righteousness. He was visited by the king of righteousness, the sovereign of Shalom and he brought him bread and wine. Now he was the priest of the most high El, okay. And he blessed him and said, blessed be Abraham of the most high El, possessor of the heavens and earth and blessed be the most high El who has delivered your enemies into your hand and he gave him a tenth of all. The most high El, Genesis 14, 9 to 20. But Abraham said to the sovereign king of Sodom, I have lifted my hands to Yahweh, the most high El. So he qualifies quite clearly who the most high El is, right? So let us take our cue from Abraham and when we talk about the most high El we say, we, I have lifted my hands to Yahweh because he is the most high El. It is not the most high El of Zeus, it is not the most high El of Apollo, it is not the most high El of Nimrod, it is the most high El of Abraham, Yahweh, the most high El. In that name is there salvation. In that name is forgiveness of sins. Not in the name Lord, not in God, not in Jesus, but in the name to which Abraham lifted his hands. So what is it, Baal or Yahweh? Even David had it mixed up and he, David, said Yahweh has broken through my enemies before me like a breakthrough of water. He won this battle, he gave Yahweh the glory, right, and what does he do? He calls the place where he got the victory after Baal. Even David was confused, right? And we are confused because we talk easily about the Lord, as we talk about Yahweh, as we talk about God, they are not all in the same, but the people at Pergamos, they knew exactly who they were talking about. And Yahweh, Yeshua came to them and he said you have remembered and you have upheld my name. Here we are, Baal, the master, hence a husband. So who is your, who is our husband, is it Baal or is it Yahweh? You have to be very clear and precise in our name, in our day and age, and I challenge all Messianic teachers to stop using all this, this Lord and God and what have you, and obey Yahweh, who says by this name I want to be remembered. Now if you are teaching a group at the beginning that you use these names intermissionably so that they can get the drift in the beginning, I understand, right, but from the outset you make it clear that Yahweh is Elohim and not God or Baal or whatever. Because we know from Hosea 2.16 that he shall come. How do you know that you have moved out of the false pagan religions and what have you? How do you know when you, when you go and read Hosea 2.16, when Yahweh has taken the name of the Baalim from your lips and you don't use them anymore, then you know. But if you still walking around and say well God this and the Lord that and you know. And he said to Yahweh, Yahweh has broken through, right, that's the name, but he calls the place Baal Partizan. Why didn't he call it Yahweh? Because the whole of Israel was confused with Baal worship. Just go through the whole of the book of Kings, it is unbelievable. But they thought they were serving Yahweh. See, same as Christians today, if you say to them, but hang on a minute, we serve the same God, do we? How can we serve the same God if you worship Him on one day and they worship Him on another day? They said, it doesn't matter. Because one guy said to me, for me every day is Sabbath. So I said to him, when do you go to work? He said, what do you mean? I said, on Sabbath you are not allowed to work. If every day for you is the Sabbath, when do you go to work? What is in a name? What is in a name? There is a lot in a name. A name in Hebrew equals Shem. That's why you are a Shemite. So you got Shemites, which are the followers of the name, and you have anti-Shemites. People who are anti-Semitic are anti-Shem. They are anti the name, and the name is Yahweh, and you are its followers, that's why they are anti you. You see, Hitler could not get to Yahweh, therefore he took his people. You understand? The name is the Shem, and this Shem implies honor, authority, character, renown and fame. And all these names have meanings. And the Shem, this honor, authority, this character that is renown and this fame, right, sets out and marks out who Yahweh is. We know who Yahweh is by his name. And Yahweh, his Shem, what is the mark of Yahweh's name? And to the others he said, in my ears, pass on into the city after me, and smite your eye both, do not pity, nor do you spare aged young men, virgins and infants and women. You do slay to destruction. And against any man on whom is the mark, of whom, the mark of Yahweh, don't touch him. So if you are marked by the name, or the mark of Yahweh, in this particular context, right, this is Ezekiel 9, 5 and 6, they were to go and smite these people. He says, but anybody who is marked by the mark of Yahweh, he says, you leave them alone. And he says, you must start at my sanctuary. Because judgment comes to the house of Yahweh first, right? But anybody marked by his name, right, he says, you leave alone. Anybody who carries the mark of Jehovah, or the mark of Yahweh, you leave alone. So we got to find out what a mark is. And do we have that mark? You see the mark, Strong's 8420, right, is a signature. What is the signature, or the sign, or the distinct mark of Yahweh by which you can mark out his people? In the blood, it comes as a sign, as the signature of Yahweh to you. The blood of the Passover, marks Yahweh's people. Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my Sabbaths you shall keep as it is a sign. It is the mark between you and throughout your generations that you may know that I am Yahovah that does sanctify you. The blood and the Sabbath are the marks of Yahweh. You know if they use his name, and if they celebrate the blood at Passover, and if they keep the Sabbath, they are marked by Yahweh, and he says, you don't touch them. You don't touch them, start at the sanctuary, but you leave those alone. The sign and the mark of Jehovah, and of course, Satan has his mark too. Now everybody is very keen about, you know, the 666 and the tattoos on our hands and the forehead. I don't know, maybe we'll get one of those, or maybe people will take one of those, a physical, literal mark. I wouldn't be surprised. But in the same way as Yahweh has his marks, so Satan has his. And you can identify very easily who belongs to which group, it's very simple. You see, Yahweh's mark is the Sabbath. And of course, Satan's mark is anti-Sabbath. If Yahweh's mark is Pesach, then Satan's mark is anti-Pesach. And if Yahweh's mark is the Torah, because that's how you can find Yahweh, and what his marks are, then of course Satan will be totally anti-Torah. Because if you are anti-Torah, then you will never find Yahweh. And you will never find his sign. And therefore, well, you have to take the consequences. What is in a name? Here we are, we have the names from Adam to Noah. And if you look at the translation or the meanings of those names, what do you find? In Genesis 5, verse 1 to 32, you find the following, that the Gospel is in those names. Oh, but the people in the house, they didn't know the Gospel. Of course they did. Why didn't they know? Here it is, look. Man is appointed a mortal habitation, the blessed El shall come down, teaching, his death shall bring the captives comfort. Huh? Who says that they didn't know? They could have known. As we can know what it means to be part of the 144,000, you only have to work out the name and you see, they're all mixed up. Israel's son's name in Revelations is all mixed up. Because if it was from the oldest to the youngest, the message would not be clear. But the way they are put in there, the message is very clear and then he found out exactly what the message was. Man is appointed a mortal habitation, the blessed El shall come down, teaching, that his death shall bring the captives comfort. But to you who fear my name, the Shemes, the Shemes or the son, this is not, this is nothing to do with the son worship, but it is to do with brilliance. Yeah? But to you who fear my name, the brilliance of the son of righteousness shall arrive and he shall have healing in his Talid. Don't say wings, it says Talid. You know? And that's exactly what the woman with the issue of blood knew. She knew this scripture, she knew it backwards and when she saw him, she went for his Talid and she was healed. You see? But to you who fear my name, what does that mean in relation to the people there in Pergamos? What does that mean to them? The blessing of Jehovah. In every place where I cause my name to be mentioned, I shall come to you and bless you. In every place where I cause, I cause my name to be mentioned. You see, he gives you the insight, not the world, he gives you the insight. You follow his name, he will bless you. He will show you all about neckties and all your problems will disappear automatically. Right? Because he is gracious to his people, Exodus 20, verse 24. And he says to the same people, you have not denied my faith. And this faith is in the Greek, the word truth. Here it is, 4102, a religious truth. You have not denied the truth, although you live in by this altar of Satan. You've honored my name and you've kept to the truth. What is the truth? The truth is the doctrine of Yahweh and you did not deny the doctrine of Yahweh, because the truth which you held on to is, thy justice is justice forever and thy Torah, thy Torah, thy law is the truth. And you held on to the truth, you did not do away with my name and you held on to the truth. So if they held on to the truth, this is Yahshua speaking, then he says that these people in Pergamos were, what, Torah observant. Therefore they cannot have been a Christian church. Christian churches do not hold on to the name of Yahweh, nor do they hold on to the truth. Because they have done away with the truth of Yahweh. And here Yahweh who saves, says to this congregation in Pergamos, you held on to my truth and to my name, therefore you are Torah observant. Amen. According to Yahshua, this assembly of Pergamos was Torah observant, not to me. So I don't have to prove anything. Are they now Christians or are they Jews or who are they? We don't care who they are, we know they were Torah observant. You know why? Because Yahshua said so. So I'm not making this up, but he says there are a few among you who hold on to the doctrine of Balaam. So if you want to know about the doctrine of Balaam, you have to study Balaam. Balaam, the doctrine of Balaam is to eat things sacrificed unto idols. Most people do that today. All meat in New Zealand is offered in the name of Allah. He's an idol, right? It's a problem. And if you go through the story of Balaam, then you see that he's asked by Balak to curse Israel, but on the end of the day, Yahweh is making him bless Israel all the time instead of cursing. And in a moment he says, well, you know, set other women before them and then they'll fall down. It's exactly what happened. Because they committed fornication with the women of Moab. And with the women of Moab they committed fornication and they ate the meat which the people of Moab sacrificed to their idols. And Israel abode in Shittim and there the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab. And they called the people unto the sacrifice of their gods and the people did eat. And they bowed down to their gods and Israel joined herself to Baal. If you look around yourself in this world today, most people are doing exactly the same thing. Sexual immorality is rampant, right? You only have to look at today's newspaper and you see again that the big shot preacher Jeff so-and-so of the Church of God of the Latter Day Saints, right, stands accused of sexual immorality with children. The Church of the Latter Day Saints, Vatican, you name them, right, everywhere this is happening, right? Fornicating, right, after the doctrines of Baal. And everywhere you go in the world, you know, the western world has bowed to Islam. We want to buy your meat, but you got to offer it up and kill it in the ritual unto Allah. And the people did eat, yeah. What was it on the TV the other day? There is a website set up, 45,000 New Zealanders signed up, how to commit adultery with other women. Right? There is nothing new under the sun. You know, we are sitting right next to the altar of Satan, but you have not forgotten my name, and you carry the mark of Yahweh, and you are standing firm. And is that because of us? No, because of his grace, lest we say, aren't we very good? It is by his grace that he has opened our eyes. Friends, there is nothing new under the sun, serving other Elohim, but you are those who forsook Yahweh, who forgot my set-apart mountain, and you prepared a table for whom? For God, right? GD. That is the literal Hebrew translation. You prepared a table for GD. Later on they put an A in there, because it has not got any vows, you see. And you filled a drink offering to Manai. So the whole of Israel forsook Yahweh, they were spreading their tables to false gods, like we do today. We go and sit down in the church, and they spread the table to the Lord, right? Who doesn't keep Sabbath, who doesn't keep Passover, who teaches all, you know. You want to be homosexual today, no problem, we will marry you, we will give you the blessing, it is not a problem, right? Can you see it? Clearly. But we have to pray for the people in there, not for the leadership, because Yahweh says in his word, don't pray for those people, don't pray for them, but for the individuals who are there, who have been misled, totally misled. They are spreading their table to GD and their offering, their drink offerings to Manai. And you shall leave your name, and there will be a curse to my chosen. For the master Yahweh shall put you to death, and call his servants by another name. So if you stay there, death is your destiny. Not according to me, but according to the word of Yahweh. And he is going to call his servants by another name, as we have seen in the book of Revelations. If you hold on to the end, he says to the Thurgomoth people, he says, I am going to give you another name. So what is the doctrine of Balaam, right? Sexual immorality and eating food offered to idols. It's all around us. And then we have the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, Nicolaitan, here we go, Nico means conqueror, and laitan refers to the lay people. So we conquer the lay people and we rule them, right, Yahweh says I hate it, of course. The conquerors, the conquerors of the lay people. That's why you were not allowed to read the scriptures in the early days, right? And they spoke in Latin, so you didn't have a clue what they were talking about, right? Yeah, just bring us your money and we'll be fine, right? And if you don't pray, you're going to go into the purgatory, right? And you're going to sit there, you know, over the hot fire and you'll be in real trouble, right? Nicolaitans and Balaamites, Balaam as meaning either lord of the people or he destroyed the people. The same effect was produced by the doctrine as by those of Balaam that the people were to commit fornication and to join into idolatrous worship. They may be called Balaamites or Nicolaitans, that is corruptors of the people, yeah? We corrupt the people, in other words, we tell them another story. And all through our history, this corruption has been going on. It started at the Garden of Eden where Satan came and said, no, no, no, no, no, no, you're not going to surely die, just eat, don't worry, everything will be fine, right? You will be as Elohim and it goes on even today. What's going to happen to those who are corrupt or the corruptors of the people? If you look in the world today, it's one big corrupt, sexually immoral, drunken state of affairs. And in that he says, you have honored my name, you've kept to the truth and I'll give you my mark. But you, he says to these others, you have turned from the way, you have caused many to stumble in the Torah. You have corrupted the covenant with Levi, says Yahweh of hosts. And I also, I shall make you despised and low before all the people because you are not guarding my ways and you are showing partiality in the Torah. See, it's all about the word of Yahweh. And all through Christianity they have corrupted Yahweh's word and misled his people. And you only have to read Deuteronomy chapter 13 to know what's going to happen to them ultimately. He says, if anybody comes and teaches you in my name and leads you astray, these false teachers, he says, you take them out and kill them. But we don't want to do that today, we leave that to Yahweh at the moment. So therefore he says, you have to repent. So if there's any Baalism going on in here or any Nicolaitan business going on in here, if there's any corruption of the people going on in here, right? And if we have not yet repented from using other names, and if you have not repented yet from following other gods, then now is the time. Because if you do not, he says, sorry, no hidden manna for you and no new name. And Israel joined herself unto Baal-Prior and the anger of Jehovah was kindled against Israel, you see, because Yahweh will not leave things unpunished. People, I hear people say, oh yes, but he's an all-loving God and, you know, don't worry and everything will pan out in the end. No, that's not the right attitude if we know the word of Yahweh. And Jehovah said to Moses, take all the heads of the people and do what? Have a nice drink with them and say, chaps, please try better tomorrow? No, he says, and hang them up before Yahweh against the sun that the fierce anger of Jehovah may be turned away from Israel. And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, flay ye every one his men that were joined to Baal. Why should Yahweh judge the people as harshly in Moses' time and should not do the same today? That would not be fair, would it? That would be a respecter of persons if he punishes them but lets us off. That wouldn't be fair. So let's be very much aware that if we are still worshipping Baal or parts thereof, that this is our end, unless one repents. He says, turn back to me and I shall turn back to you, saith Yahweh of hosts. But if you are not going to turn back to me, then don't ask or think that he is going to turn back to you. You see, and we can pray all we like. People are sitting in Texas and all these places through the middle of the United States in the worst drought in their history, but nobody is repenting, nobody is repenting. Because it's an act of God, you see, it's just nature doing it's thing, right? It's a very sad state of affairs, but the overcomers, he says, the overcomers, they have three specific points, a threefold promise. He will be given the eat of the hidden manna, he will be given a white stone and he will be granted a new name written in that stone. So how do we overcome? Well, we have to repent from our following of Baal. In other words, if we are still in a other religion that denies the word of Yahweh, that says to you, no, no, no, don't worry, you can just come here and worship on Sunday, you can keep Christmas and Easter, Yahweh is an all-loving God, you know, he knows that we love him, he knows it, because we go to the church twice on a Sunday. But actually he has turned his face from you. So if there are people listening to this who are still in these environments, right, then you must do what the scripture says, and the scripture says that you must come out of her and then you will be his people. But if you remain there, it says that the judgment that will befall those institutions will also befall you. So therefore, as the age is drawing to a close, may I recommend to you that you leave these institutions immediately, and that you repent and return to Yahweh so that you may be partakers of this threefold promise that was made to this congregation in Pergamos who were living at the seat of Satan in total, in a total mess of sexual immorality and drunkenness. Well, I don't know how it is here in Mount Roscoe, but if you go to Tauranga on Friday night at two o'clock in the morning, it's like a drunken war zone, you know, and nobody does anything, nobody does anything. Haven't you heard Mr. Key say, before the last election I'm going to sort all the gangs out, right, well you tell that to the people in Wairoa, right, and to all the people's lives who have been made miserable because of all the drugs that these people are pushing and whatever. And nobody does anything. It's like the chaos is being created worldwide so that finally the people, when they are at their wit's end, right, will accept that which they will offer us, you know, this strong man who is going to sort everything out, don't worry. Don't worry Mr. Obama says, we're going to sort it, we'll fix it, but in the meantime they bankrupt you, you know, whilst if they go on a holiday, they go with three 747s, why can't they go on, ok, he's allowed to go first class on British Airways, right, it's not a problem. Why do they have to spend billions of dollars, do you know how many people the American government imports, just the American government, the total population of New Zealand works for the American government, right. And the waste is unbelievable, but they put you out of your house, right. But if you stay in the way of Yahweh, he says don't fear, you see, we listen to Yahweh and not Mr. Obama, right, Yahweh's got much more credibility than any of our leaders because they are all part of a plot, but Yahweh says, if you hold on to my name, and if I give you my mark, then whatever will befall you, don't worry about it, everything will be fine, because he says, here is my threefold promise, you will eat of the hidden manna, I will give you the stone, and I will grant you a new name. Instead of eating things sacrificed to idols, the believers in Pergamos needed to feast on Elohim's set-apart food, the bread of life found in Yeshua through the word, John 6, 32. And this certainly speaks to modern society today as our western civilization continues to move further away from the word of Yahweh. So what are we going to feast on? On Yeshua, he is the hidden manna, he is the hidden manna, then Yeshua said to them, very, very, I say unto you, Moses gave you, what, not that bread from heaven, but my father gave it to you, the true bread of heaven, for the bread of Elohim is he which comes down from heaven and gives life unto the world. He is going to sustain you and he is going to give you that new name. Now let's have a look at that stone. There's various takes on this, we will take a final biblical one, but you see some people say certain things and other people say other things. During the time in which John writes, white stone was issued in social life and judicial customs. Days of great festivals were noted by a white stone, days of great calamity were noted by a black stone. If a host had a special guest whom he greatly appreciated, the guest was given a white stone with a name or a message written on it, directly only to the guest and it was not to be shared with anybody else. That was a custom of the time. So to these people it would have made sense about the stone, right? But the stone had more significance. The illusion is to a customs amongst the Jews who used to examine the priests and the Levites before they were to take service, or the Sanhedrin to judge and pass sentence whether their ways and works were correct and if they were as they should be, they gave them the stone of the sanctuary. If not, they may not enter and do Yahweh's business. You see if you look at the biblical leadership in relation to what we see in our society, Yahweh says to Moses, if you study the last Torah portion in Deuteronomy, he said to Moses, you take men of renown in Israel, right, and you make them judges. He didn't say, well what do you do, you take two prominent members of the congregation, we'll take John and Henry, and then the congregation can vote which one they like. No, no, no, no. Moses says, he says to Moses, they have to be men of renown, they have to be in leadership position in their tribe, and they have to have wisdom and all these things, and they, you appoint. They have the authority of Yahweh. They will be blessed by his Ruach to lead. And these people were, according to him, examined if they were up to the task, and if not, they couldn't serve. A white stone, and in the stone a renewed or a new name written. Even unto them will I give in my house and within my walls a place and a name better than sons and daughters. These are people, according to Isaiah 56, who turn to Yahweh. For example, people out of the Gentile world. He says, if you as Gentiles, even the Talmud says that if a Gentile accepts Yahweh and becomes a believer, he's greater than a high priest. Yahweh says, I will give them names better than sons and daughters, and I will give them an everlasting name that shall not be cut off. And the Gentiles shall see the righteousness and all the kings the glory, and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of Yahweh shall name. That's where Yeshua Gadol is from. Righto? Let's look at this stone. A pebble. See? A counter or a ballot, a verdict or an acquittal, a ticket of admission or a vote. That's what this pebble, my name, indicates in Greek. It's more than just, you know, a little stone, it's to do with a verdict or an acquittal. I will give you a white stone, you know, he's going to acquit us. You see, it's to do with character and name, authority. This new name is character and authority. So he's going to give us a stone of acquittal, and in our name he's going to give us a new character and new authority. We see that in the Torah. A renewed heart, and I shall give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you, and I shall take the heart of stone, I'm going to change that stone, right? And I'm going to give you a stone, a heart of flesh, and I shall give you a heart of flesh so that on that heart of flesh I can mould and write and change you. A new name, a new name to be aware, to have knowledge, to be able to perceive and to understand. The white stone and the new name. A replacement of a stony heart and to give you a heart of flesh. The stone of acquittal, acquittal from what? Our Torah violations washed in the blood of Yahweh, of Yeshua. And then he will give us a new character, a new character with authority. And the stone of knowledge and a stone of understanding. You can see it has to do totally with the transformation of Ezekiel chapter 36 before, just before Israel is regathered from the nations. That's the day which we are looking forward to and that's the day which is not too far away. And then he says I will transform you because and they shall see his face and his name, which name? The name of Yahshua, the name of Yahweh who saves, that name shall be upon their foreheads. The name of the living Torah which has transformed our character, which has transformed our way of life, which transformed our whole being to be on the same wavelength as Yahweh. It is therefore vital that we understand that this message which is given to this Kila so many years ago is as vital today as it was then. And the question to you and I is, have we honored his name? Have we kept to the truth or have we watered it down? Everything is being watered down at the moment to be able to come up with a world and a world global belief system. You can see it, you know, all of the various faiths. May it be Islam, Christianity or whatever, it doesn't make any difference, Judaism, all these institutionalized religions must come under one. Denominationalism, well you have it, but it is no longer as it was in the old days. It's all one and the same. I was in Holland and I was speaking to a lady who had now an art center in a converted church. It used to be the church, it used to be the reformed church of this particular place. And I said to this lady, how come the place is shut down? Ah well, you know, we have now merged with the Dutch Reformed, you know, which is the state side of things. And there we all go and we still have a, you know, a reasonable congregation. I said, but how can you join the Dutch Reformed? Well, she said, we are virtually the same. I said, oh yeah. I said, do you know their dogmatics in relation to who Yeshua is? What do you mean, she says. I said, they deny that he is God. To use her terminology. He was just an ordinary prophet, he is not. I said, but if Psalm 49 says that a man cannot die for the sins of another, then how are you going to be served by the God of those Dutch Reformed? And she had the fright of her life, never knew. Never knew even what they stood for. They just, you know, joined together and it's all nice and, you know, it's so, it's so social, you see. We meet everybody there and nice and we see Mary and how are you and I didn't see you last week. You know. But it has nothing to do with Yahweh. They don't even know what the place stands for. But the leadership does. Those deceivers, they do. You see, and they put it all into one big eclectic pot, you know, under the Pope and off they go. But Yahweh says to Moses, get all those leaders, hang them up in the front of the sun, right? Because my wrath against them is absolutely unbelievable. Do you think he's gonna, he's gonna let them all off unless they repent? Absolutely not. And the time is near. So therefore, let us repent so that we may eat of the living bread, which is right in front of you, so that Yahweh may open your eyes and give you the grace to understand it and therefore that the spirit of Yahweh leads you into all truth. I can't do that. Only the spirit of Yahweh can. And that you transform your heart from darkness to light, and that you get the knowledge unto salvation, which is only in one name. And that name was honored in Pergamos, next to the throne of Satan. Well, we have to praise, honor and glorify Yahweh for his grace to us. And Yahweh, we do that because we were also worshipping other gods. We were sitting on the table of GD and Menai. And Father, somehow, by your grace, you opened our eyes. And each individual here will know for her or himself how this was. And how you led us out of that system and brought us into the light of the living manna. And Father, we are eating and we are enjoying and there is not one stale piece of bread that you feed us. Every day again, you give us new grace and mercies and new enlightenment. And Father, we can only say thank you and we praise you for Yeshua, who came and died in our stead and cleansed us from all our unrighteousness. And Father, when you see us through him, you see us as though we have never sinned. Father, this grace and this mercy, we are going to hold on through in the days that lie ahead. But we take great comfort from your word that says that we are not to worry what is to befall the world. In our picture is our ancestors that came out of Egypt. Although all of Egypt were in darkness with plagues of death. Not a dog died or barked in Israel, but was protected by you in Goshen. And Father, so we know that we are engraved on the palms of your hand. And that you are our protector and our redeemer. And Father, we look forward to the day, which is not too far ahead, that you will sanctify us as you have sanctified our people of old on the third and seventh day. So that we may go into the land to rebuild your house. Because it is better for me to be a doorkeeper in the house of Yahweh than to live in this evil perverse world. And so Father, we ask will you be with us the furtherness of this day, wherever we go and whatever we do. And Father, will you keep us in your word that we may honor your name and that we will never let go of the truth. And we look forward to eating more of the living and hidden manna. We thank you for the stone of acquittal and for a heart of flesh on which you can write your complete Torah. And Father, will you lead us and we will follow you. Keep the evil one away from us and we know from your word, that if we honor and glorify you, Satan will never have a hold over us. Honor and glory be to your name, now and always, Amen. Amen.
