Saw this headline over at Food Network. 90s kid drink Sunny D is growing up. Hmm, what could that mean? Well, what it means is that the new drink from Sunny D is going to acquire a legal 21 and up ID in the state of California.
I don't know, IDs are different everywhere, I guess. But anyway, that's what's in California because the new drink from Sunny D is a Sunny D vodka seltzer. Wow, so I guess I think of a screwdriver with seltzer water in the mix. I've never had that kind of a drink, but maybe I will try this. The new Sunny D is a 4.5% ABV drink. It's not too heavy on the alcohol. It'll come in individual slim ready to drink 12 ounce cans, about $2 each.
Sunny D says that many have told them they use Sunny D as a mixer and asked for this pre-mixed product so they got into the hard seltzer category, which I thought was kind of a thing that went away, but I don't know, I guess maybe Sunny D is gonna bring it back. What do people think on social media? Well, someone on TikTok said, why does this look both disgusting and delicious at the same time? Commentators on that TikTok video said, what, this is a dream come true.
I need another declare. And one commentator kind of sums it up with they knew exactly what generation they were marketing to. Indeed they did, says Food Network. As we're all grown up now and can have our own Sunny D vodka seltzers. Available as of today at select Walmart locations. I'm Big Rick Stewart. You probably, if you have the Nixle alerts, they're probably going off and it's all crazy. Well, that's a good thing, right? Because we need to know all this. And after the fires, we were all kind of trained on this whole Nixle system. If you're new to this, I'm going to give you a little help. I'm also going to explain to you how you can check on other people, say, you know, mom and dad or relatives somewhere that don't live in your zip code and see what kind of alerts they are getting and make sure they know about it.
All right, so first of all, you should go to nixle.com. That's the homepage. And when you go to nixle.com, nixle.com, then you can text to get alerts sent to you by email or text, and you can also look up alerts by zip code. But you can also look up alerts by county in California. Are you ready? So nixle.com, n-i-x-l-e.com slash county slash C-A, the California, and then you enter the name of the county. So it would be nixle.com slash county slash C-A slash Sonoma if you want to see all the alerts for Sonoma County.
All right, so this is a little trick for you, a little insider thing. So you can check on mom and dad or cousins or brothers or kids in school or just, you know, anybody anywhere. You want to see what kind of alerts they are getting where they live. So sign up for alerts where you live at nixle.com and then enter slash county slash C-A slash the county name where they live, and you'll get some information. It's a pretty good little way to use this to make sure others are notified.
Look out for each other. And all you people that send notices, keep them coming because we're dependent on you. Everybody be safe. Thanks for hanging out with me today. It's not really about wrestling. Well, to me it kind of is. It's about people that used to wrestle. It's actually about Napa Valley residents, the Bella Twins, Brie and Nikki Bella.
They're in the WWE Hall of Fame, don't you know? They've done a lot of TV, including way back when, Total Divas. They had their own show, Total Bellas, and they've been doing lots of things. Here in the Napa Valley, they've got their own wine label. They're all over social media. And now our Napa Valley residents, the Bella Twins, have a new TV show coming to Amazon Prime. It is called Twin Love, and it is described as a social dating experience like no other.
The series will feature 10 sets of twins who are split up into separate houses. There they will meet identical love interests, and the experiment will be to discover if the twins gravitate towards the same partner or wind up choosing completely different love interests. All right, they're very funny. They're very entertaining. They have a really good podcast and really good wine as well. I think they kind of hang out in Yonkville a lot. Well, good luck to the Bella Twins on their new TV show and all their endeavors and everything they do.
You ought to follow them on social media. Lots of local love for the Napa Valley. I'm Big Rick Stewart. It's the Wine Country Saturday Soundtrack at 99.3thevine.com. Do you remember a TV show called The Midnight Special? Yes, no? All right, well, I'll tell you about it.
The Midnight Special ran on television. I think it was on NBC. And it ran from 1973 to 1981. It had 450 episodes. And the only thing that happened on the show was really cool live music. They didn't have like guests and things. I think they maybe had some comedy. But they had lots of live music. And it wasn't just bands and famous singers lip syncing to their records. They actually performed their instruments live. And it was really cool.
And they had all kinds of artists. So they just released the YouTube Midnight Special channel. So these are like official videos, not some grainy thing from somebody's VHS they've had, you know, in their storage unit for years and years they put on YouTube. These are like the real performances. And they look great. And they sound great. And while they are great performances. Released now in the first series of YouTube videos, some performances from John Denver, the Everly Brothers, the Isley Brothers, Linda Ronstadt in War, as well as Fleetwood Mac, David Bowie, Rod Stewart, Tina Turner.
Anybody you can think of, whether it's Led Zeppelin or Aerosmith or Elton John or ACDC, some R&B artists, even Prince was on the Midnight Special. Hopefully these tracks will be coming soon. But if you're a big fan of live music and want to see some vintage performances and okay, some pretty cool clothes, I think, check out the YouTube Midnight Special channel and relive those memories or check them out for the first time. Thanks for hanging out with me.
