Nothing to say, yet
The speaker expresses disappointment with the apologies given so far, feeling that they are insincere and forced. They believe that the Pope's apology made it seem like he had just learned about the issue, and that the Prime Minister and his team minimized the need for multiple apologies. The speaker then passes the conversation back to Devon. The way I feel about the apologies that have happened so far is that, so far is that the way they have apologized has been said in many ways that makes them feel like they aren't real apologies and that it is just something that they are forced to do and they have no actual knowledge on what has happened to us. Like the Pope, when he said he felt grief for the Indigenous people when they had been talking about their time at residential schools in the past few weeks, it made it seem like he only just learned about it. And how the Prime Minister and the other people around him made it seem like he only needed one apology and that he did a great job on it. And now I'll pass this talking stick back to Devon.
