Will welcomes everyone to the first cooking demo, expressing his interest in meeting them in person. Due to the epidemic, he hopes to see them in the future. He explains the concept of mise en place, which means having all the ingredients and components ready before cooking. Will advises the audience to ensure they have everything in front of them to avoid chaos. Hello, my name is Will. I would like to welcome, first of all, welcome you all to our first cooking demo. I'm kind of interested. I wish I could have seen you guys in person, but because of this whole epidemic and things going on, we hope to see you guys in the near future though. First of all, I would like to talk about the mise en place before I talk about anything else. Mise en place is just one of the French words that we learned in the culinary school, and that pretty much means everything in its place. So all the ingredients and stuff that you guys got earlier, if you guys could make sure that you have all your components in front of you, so you're not running around like a chicken without its head, okay?
