Alisson is a 22-year-old language assistant from Springfield, Illinois. His family lives in the United States, but they will be visiting him in Spain in April. He came to Spain because he studied in Madrid and loved the history and culture. Alisson has four siblings and they have two cats, one dog, and some chickens. His favorite food is a cheeseburger and his favorite Spanish food is tortilla. In his free time, he enjoys exercising and doing art, such as painting and sewing. Welcome to this series of interviews to language assistants. Today we have Alisson. He is a language assistant here in La Laboral, high school. We have Julia, Iker, Nora and Paula. Good morning. I have a question for you. Where are you from? I am from Springfield, Illinois in the United States. Okay. How old are you? I am 22 years old. Oh, nice. Do you have any family in Spain? No, all of my family lives in the United States, but they are coming to visit me in April. Okay, good. Why did you come to Spain? I studied in Madrid and really liked the history and the culture, so I wanted to come back. That's nice. Do you have any brothers or sisters? Yes, I have two older brothers, one younger brother and one younger sister. Interesting. Do you have any pets? Yes, we have two cats, one dog and a few chickens. Good. What is your favorite food and your favorite Spanish food? My favorite food is a cheeseburger and my favorite Spanish food is tortilla. That sounds delicious. What do you usually do in your free time? In my free time, I like exercising, like walking or running, and I also enjoy art, especially painting and sewing. Thank you for coming.
