Hey there, this is Anna with God's Podcast, and in today's episode, we're going to talk about the free gift from God. Lord, I want to say thank you. Thank you for allowing me to come here today with this opportunity and to spread your word. Use me as your vessel, Lord. I ask that everyone that's listening that you open their ears, their hearts, and their minds. I thank you, Lord, that we have breath in our lungs today.
I lift these people up to you, Lord. I ask you to fill them with your love and your joy and your peace. I ask this through your mighty name, amen. How many things in life are truly free? How many of us have been taught, or maybe we misunderstood what it actually takes to get into heaven? You see, God gave us a free gift, and that was through his son, Jesus Christ, who paid the price for our sins by dying on the cross.
How amazing is that gift, to actually have a gift that you did absolutely nothing for? But let me tell you, this gift is free, but you have to start the relationship with God in order to get to heaven. We cannot just do anything to get into heaven. We can't pay our way into heaven. We can't do acts of kindness to get into heaven. Just by our faith alone, it's not going to get us into heaven. God does want a relationship with you.
He wants your heart, and that is why Jesus paid that price for us. He loves us so much that he sacrificed his son. God does want you to help others. God wants you to share his word with others, but first, God wants a relationship with you. God wants your full heart. Judgment day is going to come, and is God going to say to you, Anna, you were a believer. You helped those around you. You brought people to me, but you really didn't know me.
Your heart was not fully in me. Yes, you did all those things, but like it states in Matthew 7, verse 21 through 23, then I will tell them plainly, I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers. And this verse is such a powerful verse. Do you not want to know God? Are you going to go into judgment day and have God say these words to you, or is he going to open his arms to you and say, yes, for I did know you, my child.
You took the time to know me. You grew your relationship with me. You opened your heart to me. My promise is fulfilled. In Romans 6, verse 23, it states, for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. So do you want that free gift? Do you want that free gift? That is the question. Are you ready to start this journey? Are you ready to begin a relationship with God? If you are, then I'm here to help you.
I will give you all the knowledge and wisdom that God has given me. I will share what God shares with me with you. All you have to do is open your heart and ask God to come in. It is a free gift. Take it. It will change your life. Once you let God in, you will see that everything around you will change. Your heart will change. Your mind will change. The way that you see things will change.
It is an amazing gift. Take that first step. Lord, I thank you for today. I thank you for each and every person listening. I lift them up to you, Lord. Whatever fear or anxiety, whatever they may be going through, I lift them up to you, Lord, and I ask you to fill them with your love. I ask you to allow them to open their hearts to you, Lord, that they may accept this free gift. Lord, I give you all the thanks, all the glory, because without you, none of this could be possible.
I could do nothing without you. I praise you, Lord God. You are an amazing God, and I thank you for this free gift. In your mighty name, amen. Until next time, keep bibling, keep growing in faith, and we'll see you soon.
