The hosts discuss the recent week of college football, including games between UNC and NC State, Florida State and Florida, Georgia and Georgia Tech, Michigan and Ohio State, and more. They also give their personal top six rankings, with Georgia, Michigan, TCU, USC, Ohio State, and Alabama making the lists. Well, welcome to this week's edition of both sides of the coin. I'm Denton Carter joined again with Scott Perry. We may have a guest appearance on the show, so stay tuned for that. But let's get started talking about this past week of college football. It was rivalry week, so we know it had to be crazy. Well, Scott, first, what happened on Friday night? Well, UNC and NC State played, and this has been an up and down season for NC State. You know, playing really well early, playing a tough game against Clemson, and then they lost their quarterback, Leary, and started to lose a couple games, four losses. And then NC looking really good with only one loss, and then they lose an overtime game, and then they play their rival and they lose in double overtime. So Clemson, this game happened the game before Clemson. Clemson was hoping their playoff chances would be bolstered by playing a one-loss NC team, and now they have three losses. Then Saturday, Clemson came and actually forgot that they actually had to win the game in order to get to the playoff. Maybe they were too focused on everything else that had to happen for them to get in, but Clemson slips up in an inexplicable game. If you watch the game, if you were there at the game, it was just an embarrassment of turnovers and miscues and terrible receiver play. And then the quarterback got in on the action of not playing well. They got outcoached, they got out game planned. So Clemson will not be in the class of all playoff this year. And then the other game on Friday that was a big game was Florida State and Florida. And that was an exciting game where both teams played really well. Both quarterbacks played with a lot of heart, and you hated to see one of the two teams lose. But Florida State gets that win over the Gators. Yeah, I thought this was a really interesting dynamic for the ACC championship game, which we'll talk more about, that North Carolina lost and Clemson lost. And it kind of takes some luster out of the game, but I think it might refocus, honestly, both of these teams heading into Charlotte. Maybe not North Carolina, because they lost to Georgia Tech the week before. But I think it definitely has to refocus Clemson, especially since they have to reevaluate their season goals and everything moving forward. But again, it was a crazy couple of games. That Clemson game, while frustrating as Clemson fans, I'm sure it was very entertaining. Crazy turnovers happened throughout the entire game. Just a lot of head scratchers throughout college football, especially in that game alone. But in the SEC, Georgia kind of had a little bit of a question mark going into the Georgia Tech game. Everyone thought that Georgia was just going to run away with this. They were 35 and a half point favorites. But Georgia Tech struck first and kind of held Georgia in check, at least offensively, at least for a half. Georgia eventually pulled away, but again, it shows that Georgia is human. They are not the same team that they were last year. And I think this kind of shows that there is a chance, there is a small chance that Georgia might not be the national champion. No one's penciling in Georgia on the trophy just yet. Now I do think this win solidifies them as a college football playoff team. But other than that, you can kind of see that there is a little bit of wiggle room to beat Georgia this year. It's not like the team they had last year. But meanwhile, the team they will play in Atlanta next week, LSU just completely wet the bed. They played at Texas A&M, a team that is not going to be bowl eligible, a team that struggled with the likes of UMass the week before and had lost games to South Carolina, which actually might not be a horrible loss anymore. Who knows at this point. But LSU went to Kyle Field and lost by 15 points to Texas A&M. And that was not on my bingo card at all, LSU losing to Texas A&M. A crazy, crazy game. And it kind of capped off a great weekend of college football. Yeah, as Den said, Georgia, go back to Georgia, they struggled against Georgia Tech. And as I said last week, I think the last couple years of college football playoff appearance teams, at least three of the four of those of those last couple years, I think could beat any team in the country this year. This is a team, this is a year filled with parity. And as we're going to get into, it could very well see a bunch of new names in the college football playoff, not named Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, Oklahoma that we that we're normally used to seeing. One of those teams is TCU. So going into the Big 12, TCU, once again wins against a Iowa State, which is toward the bottom of their, their conference and wins, and wins big. So they still look like they're firing on all cylinders, coming off of a close heartfelt comeback win. Last week, and so TCU is still undefeated and has one game left to cement their spot into the college football playoff. Kansas State was the other team that we were watching. Kansas State was going to need to beat Kansas to lock in their title appearance, or have Texas lose. Well, Texas took care of their business first. And that put the pressure on Kansas State, but Kansas State beat their rival Kansas, who is actually, I think we give Kansas some credit. Kansas has played a very, had a very good team this year. And it's played a lot better than most anybody would have would have expected. So congrats to Kansas State as being the other Big 12 representative in the conference championship game. Yeah, I saw a stat, I think it's the first time since 2003, that a team wearing purple is guaranteed to win the Big 12 championship, TCU and Kansas State both wear purple as their main primary color. So, but it is a very, very big season, especially for a first year coach, Sonny Dykes at TCU, and a Kansas State program that's been rebuilding after, you know, they lost their, you know, program establishing coach. So I think this is a big, big matchup for the Big 12. And it's kind of crazy that Oklahoma and Texas are leaving the conference and neither of them are going to be in this conference championship game. Anyway, the Big 10, everyone was talking about the game, Michigan versus Ohio State. And the conversation was either Ohio State wins big or Ohio State wins close. And Michigan said, well, Michigan is going to win big. So and I was blown away. I was like, this is, this can't be happening, especially after the first half when it was very close. Michigan outscored Ohio State 28 to 3, 28 to 3 in the second half and completely ran away with the game. Ohio State did not have the physicality to match up against Michigan. And they did not have the want. They didn't want to win the game as much as Michigan did. And I'm kind of kicking myself now because I had Michigan ranked ahead of Ohio State the whole time until last week. I changed it. But I had been kind of preaching that Michigan is more physical. And if the game boils down to it, they can just take over a game even if their offense isn't working. And Ohio State did not have that physicality. We saw some of that in the Northwestern game earlier in the year. But Michigan took advantage of it and they dominated the biggest game of the year. On the other side of the Big 10, Iowa was pretty much a shoe in to the conference championship if they just beat Nebraska. And while you may say, well, Nebraska is okay, I mean, they were 3 and 7. So you tell me how hard it's going to be to beat Nebraska. But they choked. They choked and somehow lost that game. So that opened the door for Purdue who handled their business. And Purdue will now represent, I would probably say, the worst division in college football outside of the ACC Coastal. Purdue will be the representative against Michigan. We can talk about that game a little bit later. But it's kind of interesting how the Big 10 panned out in no ways that most people thought it would. Yeah, it was just a crazy week for college football. The last few weeks, Iowa, Purdue, Illinois just tossed around those three teams, who's going to be in to face the Ohio State and Michigan winner. And then it seems to me like they were competing to not play the Ohio State and Michigan winner. Which of all years, to me, this is one of the weaker of the Ohio State and Michigan teams, in my mind, that I've seen in the last few years. So it's just really strange all together. Illinois, which we thought was a lot for a while, now they're not even in the conversation this last week. But then also, the other thing we didn't mention is even though Ohio State played at home, they lost big. And that's big for C.J. Stroud, who was one of the Heisman frontrunners. He got beat by his rival team at home, and he beat bad. And so that opens the way, as we look into the Pac-12, for Caleb Williams to take the spotlight. And if you watched the game, Denton, Caleb Williams, after a good drive down the field, stroke up the Heisman pose. And at the end of the season, when the other Heisman candidates not doing so well, Alabama's quarterback is kind of out of the spotlight by not being likely in the playoff. C.J. Stroud having a bad game. Caleb keeps pouring it on. Big win for UCLA last week. Big win over Notre Dame, their rival this week in national spotlight. So we could see Caleb Williams looking like a potential Heisman winner. And then we also have to remember Coram, the Michigan running back, was not able to play but two snaps against Ohio State for a total of six yards, I believe. So it's not like he gets credit for a big blowout win over Southern Cal either. So Caleb Williams, it was his day for the Heisman to take that front spot, I think. But they look good. And on the other side, Denton, I think you've got a little bit more notes on this. Utah, Oregon, Washington, tell us what happened in the other side of the other spot for the Pac-12. Right. Yeah, I would say last week I didn't give enough information, apparently, on who could make the Pac-12 championship game because it looked like it was either going to be Oregon or Washington. But it turns out because of how the Pac-12's round robin system works, if it's a three-way tie and it's not a true three-way tie, which means that one team beat the other team, which beat the other team, which beat the first team, then it divulges down to strength of conference schedule as the tiebreaker. So Utah needed a Oregon loss, a win of UCLA to beat Cal, and then they needed to win this week and they actually would clinch the spot on the Pac-12 championship instead of Washington. So Washington needed not only a Oregon loss, they also needed a UCLA loss, which would have dampened Utah's strength of schedule, which is just weird to think about, especially when you're fighting for a conference championship game and Washington beat Oregon, who beat Utah? You can't use the transitive property, I know, but it's kind of crazy to think that the one common opponent worth mentioning did not beat anyone. I don't know. That's just crazy to me. This whole scenario with Utah going to the Pac-12 championship is kind of crazy, especially since Washington's the only 10-win team outside of USC in the Pac-12. Yeah, it's crazy. A strength of schedule as being your tiebreaker, I think they've got to rethink that next year if they keep this round-robin format. I don't think they'll rethink it next year, but they need to start reconsidering because to have that as your determining factor, basically, who do you play? Not even how did you do against the teams you play, but who was on your schedule? We had better people on our schedule. Well, guess what? Vanderbilt could say that we had better people on our schedule than Florida or whatnot, but that doesn't mean that they're a better team. So that's just a crazy tiebreaker to use. Yeah, I agree. I think especially since the conference sets the schedules anyway, you can't really choose who you play. That shouldn't be – that at all should not be who plays in your conference championship game. But to each their own, I guess. That's a crazy scenario. We'll talk about the Pac-12 championship here in a minute. But we're going to transition into giving our personal top sixes. So, of course, peoples are going to change because of what happened this past weekend, but my number one does not change. It's still Georgia. You can start arguing for Michigan. I know a lot of people on social media and in the media like ESPN have kind of started advocating for Michigan to be number one. And I think there is an argument, but just one game is not going to get you past Georgia, especially when it's a whole body of work. Michigan has not looked great the entirety of their season, and they kind of need to because their strength of schedule is the worst in the top ten, even though they have the best win in college football right now probably. I would still say that their strength of schedule overall is what puts them at two. So Georgia won, Michigan two. I'm going to put TCU at three still. I think, well not still, Ohio State's dropping. But I'm putting TCU ahead of everyone else because they actually finally looked impressive. And this was a playoff type win, honestly. It was a very impressive win, and it's something that I needed to see to be able to have the confidence that TCU really deserves to be in that top four. And Iowa State is not a good team offensively, but defensively they are respectable. And TCU hung 60 on them, and that's definitely an impressive win. Number four, you know, I'm going to get crap for this, but I've got Alabama at number four. You're saying, what in the world? Where is Southern Cal? Again, I've never had much faith in Southern Cal, and even watching them play Notre Dame, I really just cannot say that they're one of the four best teams. And you can laugh at me, whatever. Alabama's strength of schedule is the best in the top ten outside of Tennessee. They have also had to go into tough road environments, something Southern Cal has done one time, they have gone into one tough road environment, and they did what? They lost. They lost to a Utah team that lost to Florida. That's all I'm going to say. And it's, when you start saying strength of schedule and all this other stuff is all relative, if you switch the schedules for teams, it should matter. If Alabama's playing in the Pac-12, do you think they're 10-2? Because I don't. If you switch USC schedule with an SEC schedule, do you think they're 11-1? Because I don't. We can use our eyeballs and kind of determine that a team that beat Oregon State by four points is probably not one of the four best teams in the country. Alabama at number four. I'll have Ohio State at number five. Ohio State did lose to Michigan, but they played Michigan. Michigan's one of the two best teams in the country. I don't really understand how you can keep arguing for Southern Cal to be better than an Ohio State or an Alabama, especially since Ohio State's only got the one loss. Alabama has the two losses, both by one play and a total of four points spread across both of those games against good teams. I don't know. I think Ohio State just had a rough game. They got outmatched. They were, in that second half especially, they just did not look like the same team that we had seen throughout the whole year. But they had looked as one of the best teams in the country outside of that game. Number six, I do have Southern Cal. I will put them in my rankings. Don't worry. Don't fret, people. I do acknowledge that they are 11-1. It's hard to do, but it is less hard to do if you play in the Pac-12 Conference. So that is my top six. Just another reminder to everybody, our top six is not this is what I think the AP poll should be or the CFP should do. These are simply our personal way of ranking teams and based on the way that we feel, teams should be rated in our own personal polls. So with that being said, my poll looks very similar to Den's. I have Georgia as the number one team. I acknowledge they beat Tennessee team. It's a really, really good team. And they do have one loss and they have they're playing in the toughest conference in the whole country. Number two, Michigan, they beat Ohio State at Ohio State and they beat them bad. They stay undefeated as well. And so it's hard to see them anywhere else. But number two, you could maybe make an argument for number one. But Michigan's the teams that they played, they played maybe maybe four teams, maybe five that are above 500. So I think Michigan, it's two. Number two is where they belong. Number three, TCU. TCU is still holding on to an undefeated season, but they they have won a lot of games close and a lot of comeback games. They are undefeated in the way I rank teams. I acknowledge this deep in the season, especially your record. If you're undefeated, I highly give you know, I give a lot of credit for somebody to be undefeated this late in the season. It's really hard to do in a power five. So TCU sitting at number three, USC has one loss. And at this point in the season, their loss came a lot earlier in the season. So they're rolling right now. I have them sitting number four above Ohio State because Ohio State's loss was at home to Michigan and it was a bad loss and it was recent. So one of the things you got to keep in mind as you go throughout the season is two one loss teams. Let's say they're the exact same team, all else being equal to one loss teams where one team lost their game early in the season and one team lost their game just now, just recently. Well, which team is playing better? It's the team that had the loss much earlier in the season is you can make an argument that they're playing better. So that's why I'm giving Southern Cal the nod. Also, you know, you kind of have to you say you don't do this, but in rankings, you kind of do look ahead and you say it's going to take care of itself anyways, because Southern Cal is going to play in one extra game than Ohio State and they're going to have a chance to have the conference championship title beside their name. USC has also got a lot of on the rise right now because Caleb Williams is looking like a potential Heisman winner. Very close though, I would admit, for me between USC and Ohio State, but I'm going to give USC the nod this week at number four. And at number five, that would be Ohio State. As I just mentioned, they had one loss against Michigan is one of the two best teams in the country they lost to. So even though they did lose big and it was at home, it wasn't to wasn't to a number 13 rival Michigan or an unranked. It was to the number two undefeated team in the country. So they're number five at number six. This is a two loss team and Denton is going to like this that I have Alabama at my number six team just ahead of Tennessee. So we're going to talk a little bit about our rankings projections, our CSP rankings projections. But I think, you know, kind of recency again, Tennessee losing to South Carolina and losing badly. You know, even though South Carolina is playing really well and they're eight and four, they did have a recent loss and their quarterback, Hinton Hooker, is out. And so I kind of think and all else being equal, and I really do consider Alabama and Tennessee about equal. If they were to be put on the field right now, do you really think that Tennessee could beat Alabama? I would find that I would be pretty, pretty solid on picking Alabama to win that game. So Alabama sitting my number six. So if they played on a neutral field, you pick an Alabama or Southern Cal. And Alabama's got multiple losses, which is why they're not above Southern Cal in my poll. I'm just just giving you a hard time. So that's our top six. Now I'm going to introduce our guest on the show this week. He is a college football player at Mercer, but he is also my brother. So let's hear it for Caleb. He's going to give his top six and help us predict the conference championship games. How's it going, guys? So my number one is just like everyone else's. It's going to be the Georgia Bulldogs. And for number two, I have Michigan as well. I mean, they showed an incredible game versus Ohio State. And my number three is the TCU Horned Frogs. I mean, you got to give it to them. They've won every game they played, and I don't think they lose right now. They don't lose to Kansas State yet. I mean, they're just showing everybody, proving everybody wrong right now. And number four, I have Ohio State. So this is why I have Ohio State, is their only losses to a number two Michigan team. And it wasn't as bad as everyone thinks it is, because I watched the game. CJ Stroud has got to be – he is the best passing quarterback in college football right now. And yes, he – Caleb Williams, yeah, he does all that. But he is – he can throw the ball better. They ask him to do so much. They ask him to do so much in that game. They ask him to do too much, honestly. I mean, he couldn't do it. He couldn't handle the pressure. But I think they are the fourth best team right now. Number five, I have Alabama. And I mean, Alabama right now, the two losses really hold them back. But I think they could probably beat any team in the country right now. That's including Georgia. If you give them 30 days to prepare, they will probably beat Georgia. I mean, get them healthy, they would beat Georgia, maybe by double digits. It's – it's – I don't know, guys. But – and then number six, I have Tennessee. And I don't – I don't want to see Southern Cal in the top six. And I don't think they deserve it. I mean, there's no deserving in anything with Southern Cal on there. I mean, Tennessee, I don't care if they have whoever at quarterback, they will beat Southern Cal to the ground and they – they will smash them. Like, it's not – it wouldn't even be close. Like, Tennessee would be favored at Southern Cal probably by seven and a half. I mean, if you're going to do that, then like why even rank the teams? I mean, thanks guys. That's my top six. Thanks Caleb. See, I thought I – he thought I had SEC bias. Come on. Double digits, huh? Double digits. I do like everything that Caleb said though. I agree with most of it. I don't know about Tennessee being favored by seven and a half at Southern Cal. That's just – he threw a number out there. It might be five and a half, guys. I mean, give it to me. Tennessee, it doesn't matter who – like South Carolina lost, that was bad. But, I mean, Georgia, they only lost by what? 14? I mean, at Georgia, it's not that bad. Alabama may have a chance to prove that against Georgia. There is a slight possibility and Denton is going to talk about that in here in a second of how Alabama could somehow end up playing Georgia in the playoff. That would make my Christmas if a two-loss Alabama that didn't win its division or its conference somehow makes the college football playoff. That would make my year for sure. Anyway, we're now going to talk about conference championship predictions. Let's start with the Pac-12. Number 14, Utah right now, they'll probably move up. We'll play number six, USC. Again, they're probably moving up. It's going to be 8 o'clock on Friday night in Las Vegas. Southern Cal is a two-point favorite. And I am going to pick Utah, not only because I am cheering for Utah to win, which I obviously will for personal reasons, but I also think that Utah has what it takes to beat a team like Southern Cal. USC is a team that is very efficient offensively. Kayla Williams is a difference maker on that side of the ball. Utah has a very disciplined defense. They held Oregon to 20 points, and Oregon is a very high-powered offense in the Pac-12 as well. So I think Utah has what they need to kind of regulate things, and they can kind of take control of the game and kind of take the time of possession. Putting more pressure on each drive that USC has the ball I think will be the key. But I like Utah to win this game. Obviously, if I think they're going to win, I think they're going to cover as well. I would say probably about a field goal in Utah's favor. Who you got, Caleb? I have Utah by 10-plus. I mean, I don't think USC is a good team, and I certainly don't think they deserve to be in the playoffs. Caleb might be the biggest Southern Cal hater out there apparently. But Scott, who you got? Hey, the handcuffs are finally off for me. As of about 4 o'clock yesterday when Clemson lost that game, Notre Dame and USC were coming up, and I said, thank you that at least I don't have to pull for my hated Notre Dame against my beloved Southern Cal Trojans. So I was so happy to see Southern Cal win. I was fanboying big time to see Reggie Bush and Matt Leiner on the big noon kickoff yesterday, and I'm all in now for Southern Cal to get to the playoff, and I'll be pulling for them to the very end. So Southern Cal wins against Utah. Caleb Williams cements his Heisman moment with a – let's make it a 17-point victory against Utah. Wow, that's bold. All right, so Saturday we'll have the Big 12 Championship featuring Kansas State and TCU. TCU right now is only a 2.5-point favorite despite being an undefeated team in Kansas State with three losses. In this game, again, this is not only because I'm cheering for the Wildcats, but it is part of the reason I'm picking them to beat TCU. I think that the first game, which actually was at TCU, Kansas State probably should have won this game if their quarterback Martinez was not knocked out of the game. They had an 18-point lead and it looks like they were going to control this game. Now you can argue that TCU is a different team, but are they really? Are they really a different team? Two weeks ago they almost lost to Baylor. They needed a really, really last-second field goal with the field goal team running on the field and honestly a miracle to beat Baylor. They did look good this past weekend, but they did play the worst team in the Big 12, which is saying something because Kansas is in the conference. I know they're having a good year, but still. Anyway, I'm going to pick Kansas State to win this game. It's going to be close. I think as an Alabama fan I would prefer it not to be close because if TCU gets blown out that looks really good for us. But I'm going to take Kansas State by about a touchdown. I'm going to have to take the Horn Project on this one just because of how much they've proven themselves throughout this year. And as Denton mentioned earlier, the Purple team is going to win this and I'm going to go with TCU. I think they have played with a lot of heart all year. Our quarterback, Duggar, has played with a lot of heart, some comeback victories, putting up a lot of points. So I'm going to go with TCU over Kansas State. As Dabo Sweeney said, the toughest game of the season is your very next game. And I think TCU has taken that to heart. Every single game they've showed up to play and that's evident by their heart to win and squeak out these games. Kansas State may actually be their toughest game, but it is the next game on their schedule and they're going to play it like it's the toughest game of the schedule. And so TCU is going to win this game and go to the college football playoff. All right, we've got the SEC championship game, which has lost a little bit of its luster since LSU again lost to Texas A&M. Anyway, Georgia is a 16 and a half point favorite. I'm going to take the Dawgs big. I think they win big and cover. They're playing angry. They actually didn't win the SEC last year, so I think that might be a goal for them to get this along with a national championship. So give me Georgia. Give me Georgia big. Georgia bad. It's not even close. Yeah, I think Georgia is also going to blow them out. It's going to be a half time victory for Georgia. Similarly, the Big Ten championship will face a four loss Purdue team against Michigan. I will say Purdue has a history of beating teams that are highly ranked while Purdue is unranked. But usually this happens at Purdue. This is not going to be played at a neutral site game. Michigan's a 16 point favorite. Give me the Wolverines. They're playing good football right now. I think Wolverines win by at least 21. I think Michigan wins with 250 rushing yards. Hail to the victors. Michigan big over Purdue. And finally, we have the lowly ACC championship game. Sorry, guys, it's not lowly. But the winner will get to play in the Orange Bowl. So number eight, Clemson, probably going to drop. Number 17, North Carolina, again, might drop a little bit. Clemson's an eight point favorite. I think Clemson gets their mind refocused. I think they win by at least 10. Honestly, this game might be 17 to nothing. I think this game could be something kind of ugly like that. But I think Clemson wins, gets them an ACC championship, and back on the right track. Well, last weekend before the North Carolina game was played, I thought it might be a close game. But now I just don't think North Carolina is really that good. I think Clemson blows them out. I think it's going to be a tough year, next year for Clemson. A lot of change, a lot of questions, a lot of things to fix. And I think this is going to be one of those games like we had last year against Iowa State in the bowl game where we had a rough season and you're just trying to finish out strong and look toward next year. But you want to finish out strong, get some momentum. I think David Sweeney gets his team ready to play. I don't think it's going to be as big of a victory as Denton says. But I think maybe it's a seven point, six point victory with North Carolina maybe having to try another onside kick like we saw last time they played in the ACC championship game where Clemson recovers and wins a fairly close game. All right. Well that's what we have for our conference championship games. This should be a great weekend to watch some football. So quickly we're going to project what the committee has this week in their top six. Number one should be Georgia. We think there might be a slight possibility Michigan is number one, but I think it holds with the status quo Georgia number one. Number two, Michigan. As we talked about earlier, I think Denton and I both agreed in our own polls and I think everybody in the country is going to agree with Georgia one and Michigan two. Yep. Three I think will still be TCU. They're the other undefeated team that's left. I think they'll still be ranked ahead of everybody else, especially since they looked so impressive this past week. So TCU at number three. Now number four is interesting because USC could have jumped at Ohio State and everything being taken care of next week when they play in their championship game. If they have a championship game under their resume and one extra game in Ohio State, that would only happen if Ohio State would have lost close to Michigan. But since they lost so bad at home in a game nobody expected to turn out the way it did, I think they go ahead and put USC above Ohio State because especially USC is playing pretty well right now. We think USC is going to be four. Right. And here's where it's going to be a big debate in the committee rooms today and tomorrow and Monday. Ohio State and Alabama, we think, are going to be five and six. And for me, this is a very important shakeup because neither of these teams get to play next weekend, so neither of them can hop the other based off of this week. So this order basically solidifies itself this week. We think it's going to be five Ohio State, six Alabama, but I think there's a very real possibility that the committee could put Alabama ahead of Ohio State. And that's because, as Scott said, Ohio State lost at home by 22 points to the only team that they're supposed to get ready for this entire season. I know Penn State is pretty good, but this is the goal for Ohio State and Michigan. This is the game. And that's why they call it that. And they lost at home, at their place, by 22 points. Alabama's lost two games on the road to very good teams, very close games. One was an overtime. One was on the last second field goal that was blocked. Somehow went in miraculously. It was the Tennessee football gods. I don't know what happened there. But anyway, Ohio State will probably be fifth, but don't be surprised if the Alabama Crimson Tide is fifth. College football might explode, especially college football Twitter. They have been arguing about this for quite some time. But I think, I hope it's Alabama five, Ohio State six. But we think our official projection is going to be Ohio State five, Alabama six. Yeah, and that's a really good point. You know, Alabama and Ohio State are going to be sitting on the couch and biting their nails to see who gets put above the other. Because should something happen, should TCU lose, should Southern Cal lose in their championship game to give them two losses, whoever's sitting at five will jump in and there will be no six jumping to five. So if Alabama is six, now they got to start hoping TCU somehow get blown out miserably and Southern Cal loses. Or maybe Michigan gets embarrassed somehow badly, badly, badly by Purdue. Some crazy stuff. So number six, whoever's sitting there is in a world of trouble getting to the playoffs. But I think, and I don't know if Denton, if this is your reasoning, the same as mine, but I think because Alabama did have multiple chances that they that they failed to win multiple losses this year when Ohio State only had one, it's probably why the committee just looks at the two and says Ohio State's got one loss, Alabama's got two, we're going to put Ohio State at five. That's the only thing Ohio State has going for them because Alabama has strength of schedule and they right now are power ranked ahead of Ohio State as well. So but we'll see. This will be a very interesting ranking, especially and it's very important for these two teams. Because they're waiting for the other two teams to lose in front of them. So my goodness, that wraps up this week. Both sides of the coin. Thanks again for listening. Thanks again to Caleb for stepping in and helping us out a little bit. We'll see you next week. Roll Tide. Go Tigers!
