He said to me, he said, Gentiles, how much more than they're calling you. And I can't wait to say how much more will they still call you. You can't wait to say that? Yes. What did he say? He said, how much more than they're calling you. Yes. What kind of answer did he have? He said, how much more than they're calling you. That's better. That's better. He said, this word, will, that's it. He was not fancy. He said, look, this is all going to be so worthwhile. Gentile Israel, God forbid all this. Gentile Israel to be destroyed. No, God forbid. God forbid. What did he say? What did he say? He said, when Israel encountered a rejected Jesus, it opened the way to the Gentiles. He didn't suppose that. God forbid. He did not say that they can't get the riches from the world, and they're saying this to the Gentiles, how much more will their fulfillment be. Again, they, as I mentioned, except for Messiah, it shows in the book how much their fulfillment, the word will, is there. That's a bad translation. I don't like that translation at all. He doesn't say they will, national Israel, will return to the Messiah. He says, how much would their fulfillment be, like me. How much, if it's, could you imagine, how many days will it take me to say this? Let my heart be glad for me. Wouldn't it be great, plain and simple, wouldn't it be great if they would, except for Messiah now, after they've opposed him so long. The fact that they rejected Jesus made the Gentiles interested, because they thought, well, that he's a Jew. But then, after he's been persecuted in the church for so long, wouldn't it be a great testimony if they changed their mind and said, he's Messiah after all, and the Gentiles would go with him. He did not say, it's going to happen. That's not what he believes. He did not say, how much will their fulfillment be, what are their expectations of Him, to me, how much would it be great, plain and simple. It is not a promise. It's not that word will. It's very important that word is used in that. There's none to do. And King, as Biola's translation points out, is how much their fulfillment. Her translation is more faithful. She did kind of show that that word will is in there. Like, you can just mark it out. But I'm speaking, I'm speaking to you as Gentiles. And it's like if I'm an apostle to the Gentiles, and I magnify my ministry, which might be my main job, that'd be my job. If somehow I might be too jealous of my fellow countrymen, say some of them. I wish I could. Something I would do. I wish they'd become jealous. Some of them. Look it, say some of them. They were always there. Say some more. They weren't in all these areas. He's hoping that he's talking to Gentiles who are accepting of the ties to Jesus and rejecting Christianity. Maybe this would make some of them jealous. For if their rejection be the reconciliation of the world, watch, and hear the word will is there. And again, if you do the acceptance of the reconciliation of the world, you're kidding yourself. Watch their acceptance of the life and the dead. And the very same thing he said in verse 12. Again, the word will is there. What is there, by the way? Again, the word will is there. Watch their receiving. Wouldn't it be great if there were, isn't it? And in the first page of Zelda Holy, the love is also, the three holy branches are two. In book 11, the first page is all in national Israel, and the old country of Israel, the love being the new country, the new country of Jerusalem. And the root of the holy branches are two. And some of the branches are broken off. Note that some, as a matter of fact, it's most. But there's still some, understand? Every author that says that some of the branches are broken off, and you're getting a wild olive or grafted an onion, and you can partake a little bit of the ritual of the olive tree, he has, the root is the pomegranate. It's the pomegranate. The root is the pomegranate. What he's saying is that the, that most of them were broken off. Why? Because national Israel did not receive the pomegranate. It was broken off. But you were grafted in, the Gentiles. What he's saying is you're a part of the church, but the root is not Gentile. The root is Israel. Why? No, he said this. Good Messiah comes to Israel. The covenant, the pomegranate, all things of Israel. If you're a wild olive, you've been grafted in. You're not the heir to one of the branches. I love this. Remember I said the Gentiles were mostly for the Jews, and by the Jews they're mostly for the Gentiles? They were saying, Aha! Well, it's true that you were the root, but the translation's been broken off. We were grafted in. Therefore, therefore, we are now in the catbury season. So he said, Now wait a minute. He's been laying on his knees pretty hot-headed, hasn't he? And he said, It's true, that most of the branches were broken off. So he didn't believe it. And Gentiles were being grafted in, so they're addicted to it. And he said, Don't get horny about that. If you are heir, then remember, that it's not you who's supposed to root, it is supposed to be. As a matter of fact, Israel comes first. Yes. That's a good question. He's speaking to them, he's speaking to the Jewish national mind in general, including those in the church, I think. This is good. By the way, he's speaking to them, as much as the church is involved in it. He's saying, this is the Jewish national mind. He says, This is causing a problem in the church. Now, you will tell him, now, he's getting, he's trying to make this into balance. He's saying, It's true, the Jews didn't have a covenant when Messiah came to the Jews. They are the Jews. And they were broken off. You will grasp it in. But don't get, he's saying, don't you get in trouble and make the same mistake that the Jews made, or that you got the same attitude that caused them to be broken off. You will say then, branches are broken off so that I might be grasping in. Quite right. They were broken off in the sense of allowing them to be broken off. Israel was allowed to accept the Messiah. So the Gentiles were coming in. They might not be grasping in. Quite right. They were broken off for their unbelief. If you stand by your faith, do not be conceited, but watch. Fear. If God did not spare you, that's a blessing. Israel will be sparing you. So again, now, that's the point. There's no reason for that. So, there's a huge, there's a lot to both the Jews and the Gentiles. It's kind of none of this stuff of, well, he was getting to the Messiah, and now we, we're the branch, and it's our turn, and you can just take second place. He said, don't do that. That's the very attitude that got the Jews in trouble. And the Queen herself, now. Behold, in a time of ever-severity of God, God is, God is brought down. Now, that's an important statement. It's going to be a big sermon. Behold, a time of ever-severity of God. Time is for letting the Gentiles in, severity, and breaking off, and allowing the natural branch to be broken off. But, this severity will be, most, this severity, this time, will come to severity. To those who fail, severity, they should use God's time. If, you can give me enough time, otherwise, you are fully paralyzed. And they also, the Jews, if they do not, if, don't say. If I say, but, and, if I say that the word, will, was on it, he says, he does not promise that they will return. Notice here, what he says, he does not say, when. He says, if, they do not continue when they are under a deadly accident. But God is able to grab them any minute. He says, look, any time the Jews want to come to your side, come to me, come by faith, they are accepted. Don't say it. He says, oh again, my friend, well, you know, you had your chance. You crucified your God. Now, you are the emotion, you are the result. He says, oh no, there's no reason. You ought to say, any time they go, want to come, they'll be grafted in, the branches, the golden branch, will be re-grafted in, to come by faith. And, for God is able to graft them in again. For, if you were cut off from all these financial, wild olive trees, and cows, he's changing the metaphor here, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated city, it is, how much more shall these or the natural branches be grafted into your own olive trees? That's what he's saying. That's how devotion is identified. And don't you, you consider that that the Jews and the nations possess a different side. But don't you know that God still loves them? And he's just inviting to graft them back in, as he was to graft the Jews. And they turn to the branches. Listen, the Book of Romans is biased, it's even more dismantled, it's prejudicial, it's subject to the Jews, it's subject to every kingdom. The Book of Romans actually is not a book that teaches that kind of thing. That kind of thing is an early one. God, the Jews are not in this. The Jews are not in any worse position before God than anybody else. When I wrote that article 63 years ago, a few years ago, and I mentioned nationalism and said there was revival, I pointed out that the Jews did not have a special promise for nationalism. And I got all kinds of trouble from all kinds of letters from people who wrote that yes, God still does not have a promise for nationalism. And I said, well, I don't know how long it's going to take to get to that. And I said, I don't know how long it's going to take to get to that.
